Justin Bieber has been rushed to a hospital in London. The singer reportedly collapsed on stage tonight during a show in O2 Arena, as witnesses took to Twitter immediately upon the incident and said Bieber passed out in the middle of a performance. “He got oxygen from emergency personnel,” a rep tells E! News . “He insisted on finishing the show. He is on the way to the hospital right now.” Following the collapse, Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, apparently came out and told attendees that the 19-year-old had been feeling “very low of breath” throughout the concert and was backstage with EMTs. On two occasions in the past month, Bieber was spotted around town in a gas mask . He was mocked mercilessly for it, but might that have portended some kind of actual illness? My name is Rachel and here is my MBE. I’ll start off by giving you a little background info. I’m 17, I live in Canada and I have loved Justin Bieber since April 2008 after watching him sing to Esmee Denters. I have loved and supported him since then, no matter what. I have been struggling with my self-esteem, stress and just everything in life for a while now. I have friends who cut and self harm and I always said I would never do that because I know once you start, it’s hard to stop. But it got bad Sunday (January 20th). I had just had a huge fight with my mum and brother and I was just over everything. I thought, “Hey what the hell, I’m fat/ugly/annoying, no one cares so why does it matter if I cut?” I went to the washroom and grabbed a razor. In the process of doing it, I cut my thumb open by accident and I was so scared because it bled for a long time. I was scared to go get my mum because then I had to tell her what happened. After about 45 minutes I went and lied to her. We wrapped it up and she went back to bed. While all this was going on I thought about everything going on in my life and just thought about how Scooter never gives up on ANYTHING. He is always able to stay positive and happy about it all. I envy that mindset. I usually send Scooter the odd random message just to try and get his attention or even just a “hello.” On Saturday night I messaged him saying, “follow me @rachelsayshii”. On Sunday, I messaged him explaining what had happened and how he had helped me realize I can’t be doing this because where would he be if he had just given up and gave into all his stress and pressure? I thanked him and sent it. I was not what so ever expecting a reply because out of all the years of sending him messages, he has never once replied. When I woke up Monday morning I saw he replied asking for my cell number and that he had followed me on Twitter. I sent him my information right away and waited. I heard nothing from him for about 3 days, until Wednesday night. I was at home and my brother and I had just gotten in a fight. I was already in tears from that, until I got a call from a weird number. I was listening to music and I was trying to turn it off but it wouldn’t stop so I dropped my laptop and answered the phone. It was Scooter. I cannot remember for the life of me his exact words but I do remember myself not being able to speak when he first said hello. The tears started again while he told me something like, “I can’t let the stress get to me, cutting isn’t a way to deal with problems and that he hears me and he cares.” Then he said, “I have someone here who wants to talk you.” Then halfway through him saying that, Justin grabbed the phone and I dropped to the floor asking myself is this real life. Justin grabbed the phone and said, “Hi Rachel, it’s Justin, Justin Bieber.” (Like I didn’t know haha) He asked how I was but I couldn’t answer. He said something like, “Stay strong, always be positive, I love you. You can’t be doing that to yourself. Thank you for the support and love, and we love you and you promise to stop.” I said I would never even think about it again. Then he said “Okay I have to go now but I love you and we care.” Then he gave the phone back to Scooter. Scooter said, “Rachel, I want you to promise me right now that you won’t do that again, I promised.” He then thanked me. I said back, “Thank you so much. You both mean so much to me and you have made my life.” He said, “I have to go now but send me a message with your Twitter and we are both going to tweet you.” I said bye to him and then ran to my laptop and sent Scooter the message. Then I got a tweet from Justin and my phone still hasn’t stopped with loving and caring messages from people! I went to sleep with a smile on my face and then I woke up and saw that Scooter had also tweeted me and the smile has not left my face since. Scooter is by far the most genuine person I have ever met/talked to. He cares about everyone so much and I can not thank him or Justin enough for what they did. To all the people out there who are in the same situation I was in, please remember that there is ALWAYS someone out there who cares and who is willing to listen. Justin cares about all of us no matter what and everyone will have their time sooner or later. In the meantime, stay positive and keep supporting him and your time will come! My name is Lindsay and my dream has always been to see my idol Justin Bieber in concert, and well it finally happened. On December 1st, it was Justin’s concert here in Toronto. Sadly, my friends and I had no tickets. I woke up that day really early and headed out to the Rogers Centre with my friend to at least try and get a glimpse of Justin. We got to the venue and met up with the rest of our friends and the waiting began. Hours went by and we were waiting in the freezing cold. We walked around the Rogers Centre maybe a billion times by then. It was about 4 o’clock and all of the people with meet & greet’s started heading in. Five guys and two camera men came outside and a lady followed behind with a sign saying “BELIEVE MOVIE BEING FILMED.” We all went crazy, everyone started singing. It was an amazing feeling being with Beliebers, singing to our idol’s song and being filmed for the movie. After the camera crew left we were waiting in front of a door and we saw Jon Chu. He waved at us, said hi and left. The concert was going to start in a bit and we kept losing hope. We thought we were never going to see Justin, Scooter or anyone. We wanted to get into the concert so bad. We started talking to people who worked at the venue, scalpers, basically anyone. The concert had started and we were all depressed, except for one of my friends who said, “Justin told us to never say never.” She kept us waiting in the cold longer. Then as 8 o’clock came around, we were going to leave. It was too cold to stand around anymore. As we were walking to leave we saw a man with a camera filming, one of Justin’s dancers and Scooter. We all ran to him, crying, telling him how long we were outside for, etc. He said he had no tickets but he’d take a picture with us. The 6 of us lined up to take a picture with him but then he said, “I only have 5 tickets, 1 of you can’t come in.” My heart broke. All that waiting and one of us sadly couldn’t go. My friend, said it was okay, she wouldn’t come with us. But then Scooter said to her, “You can’t sit with them but you’re coming to watch the show with me.” WE ALL WENT CRAZY. We started crying, screaming, my friend even looked like she was going to pass out. He gave us front row tickets. I hugged him and we ran in so fast screaming and crying. People were looking at us weird. We got in to the venue and into our seats about 10 minutes before Justin came out. When Justin came out everyone went WILD. After the concert, I went home and went straight to bed. I woke up the next morning with a tweet from Scooter and a follow from him. It was the best day of my life and I owe it all to Scooter Braun . I will never be able to thank him enough for what he did for us that day. I’m so happy I could finally say, “I seen my Idol Justin Bieber live in concert.” Don’t ever lose hope. I can’t believe I am actually writing one of these but here we go. My name is Natalie, I’m from a very small town in New Jersey and I have been trying to see Justin in concert since 2009 but could never afford tickets. When Believe tour tickets were announced I already knew I wasn’t going to be able to afford them so I couldn’t buy any. Since then I said I was going to try to find my way into a show. November 28 th came and it was the first show at Madison Square Garden. My mom and I had been planning on going to New York that day to see what could happen. I had made a poster that said, “Just an Out Of Town Girl who would Die In Your Arms for some Believe tickets to see my Boyfriend…Never Say Never right?” I was hoping that someone in the Bieber Crew might notice and help me. My mom and I got to freezing NYC around 3:30 p.m. and went out in the back where the rest of the beliebers were waiting. While waiting we saw Dan Kanter and Pattie. Later, Alfredo came out and I thought he was going to give out tickets so I started crying and yelling for him but all he did was get his friend. Around 7:40 p.m. nothing was happening so my mom was like maybe we should just leave since the show had already started. I convinced her to stay a little longer and she agreed and went to the entrance of the arena to warm up. (My mom only went inside because I made friend’s with another girl who was alone and if we got tickets, my mom said she would give her ticket to the girl). Then out of no where Scooter Braun comes out with tickets! First he went over to some other fans and then he came to the girl next to me. The whole time I’m just like, “Scooter please I’m from New Jersey” but he didn’t hear me and gave the group next to me tickets, then he started walking away. Then I started crying hysterically while holding my poster up until a security guard saw me and knew how long I was waiting for. The security guard took my poster, showed it to Scooter and that’s when Scooter came back to me. I said again, “PLEASE SCOOTER I’M FROM NEW JERSEY. I’VE NEVER SEEN JUSTIN BEFORE.” Then he asked me “Who you with,” so I just pointed to the girl next to me and said “her.” Then he looked through his ticket’s and handed me two and said, “You guys are going in together!” I cried 10x harder and yelled “Thank You” and just started to run to the entrance of the arena. The girl and I went to look for my mom and when I got to her, I collapsed onto the floor crying and telling her everything that had just happened. When we got inside to our seats we found out we were on the floor, only 3 rows before the stage! Then the most amazing concert started and after 4 years of trying, I finally saw my idol in concert. I just want to say THANK YOU to Scooter because he made my dreams come true that night and DREAMS DO COME TRUE. A Penn State sorority is under scrutiny – and investigation – after a racist photo from a recent party created a stir online. The Mexican-themed image appears below: The picture, taken around Halloween, shows the women dressed in sombreros and mustaches. Some held signs that read “Will mow lawn for weed + beer” and “I don’t cut grass I smoke it.” Get it??! The photo was posted on Tumblr and Facebook, after which a Penn State blog ID’d the women as members of the Chi Omega sorority on campus. Reaction from the embattled university – still reeling from the Jerry Sandusky scandal – and from the sorority itself came quickly after the image went viral. Jessica Riccardi, president of the Nu Gamma chapter of Chi Omega, confirmed to the school’s Daily Collegian that the sorority is under investigation. Riccardi also issued an apology for the photo, writing, “Our chapter of Chi Omega sincerely apologizes for portraying inappropriate and untrue stereotypes.” “The picture does not support Chi Omega’s values or reflect what the organization aspires to be.” The Penn State Panhellenic Council said, “We are addressing the situation immediately with the members of the chapter in conjunction with their national headquarters.” Lisa Powers, director of public information at Penn State, also said in a statement that “This photo has been brought to our attention, and we have looked into the issue.” “The students are within their First Amendment rights [here], although we are certainly appalled that they would display this level of insensitivity and lack of judgment.” “These costumes and this group do not represent fraternity and sorority life at Penn State University, nor the 95,000 students who attend our university.” “The Chi Omega sorority sisters have expressed deep remorse over this incident.” What do you think? The 2013 Grammy Award nominations came out last night – and that sound you heard soon afterward was the angry wails of Justin Bieber, One Direction and Carly Rae Jepsen fans. None of these artists were nominated in a single category. And Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, had taken to Twitter and expressed his anger over his client’s snub. “I just plain DISAGREE,” Braun wrote. “The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one. this time he deserved to be recognized and I dont really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision i dont agree with. Braun added: “to all those nominated…you do deserve it. You worked hard and u earned it. Just feel like so did JB.” Jay-Z, Kanye West, Fun.
