Even when Justin Bieber tries to come across as nice and helpful, he can't help but sound cocky and condescending. The singer, whose new album comes out on November 13, has been revving up the public relations game of late. But he's hit a few hiccups along the way. There was the interview he walked out on , for example, although the hosts in charge of it were clearly acting like immature idiots. There was also the Norway concert he cut VERY short because some fans in the front row spilled some water and didn't let him clean it up to his liking. He then took to Instagram and shared yet another apology in which he vowed to be a better person. And Bieber isn't being a bad person in the following video, far from it. But he is giving an acoustic concert in Spain, sitting down with his guitar and with a friend and playing a melodic version of his smash hit single, “What Do You Mean?” About halfway through, however, Bieber grows a little irritated with the crowd. Yes, those in attendance are clapping along. But they are not clapping along with the beat and Justin feels a need to stop and explain this to them. Granted, the mistimed clapping may be throwing off his performance. We can see that. We could understand that. But considering the fragile state of his reputation these days, Bieber would probably be better served just keeping quiet. Scott Disick is yet again seeking treatment for his alcohol addiction, and for the first time, he seems to be taking the process seriously. Disick has ditched rehab five times in the past, but his current stint is entering its fourth week, and sources say the Lord is genuinely serious about getting sober this time. And apparently, he’s also serious about making things right with Kourtney Kardashian. First there were reports of Disick calling Kourtney and begging her to take him back. Now, Radar Online is reporting that Scott recently wrote Kourtney a letter that has her seriously thinking about giving him another chance. “Kourtney cried her heart out when she read [the letter],” an insider told the website. “It had everything in it that she needed to hear and it really came from his heart. “He talked about how patient she’s been, how he’s hurt her and knows he doesn’t remember half of it, and how that also hurts, how the only time he’s ever been happy has been with her and the kids, how much he loves her and wants to marry her.” Unfortunately, it may be a case of too little, too late, and not only because Disick put Kourtney through nearly a decade of hell before sobering up and deciding he wants to put a ring on it. Insiders say they’re not serious yet, but Kourtney has been doing her best to move on. Let's face it: Scott Disick is not the most sympathetic of figures. The guy acts like a douchebag at every opportunity, flaunts his wealth all the time and very likely cheated on Kourtney Kardashian. We haven't exactly been crying a river for Scott ever since Kourtney finally wised up and kicked him to the proverbial curb. But Scott himself is crying a river in this sneak peek Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 11. It features an intervention between various family members and Disick, who openly weeps when told about how his drinking and partying have affected all around him. “It's been a really hard time having all of you guys to having nobody,” Disick tells Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Kris Jenner through many tears. Who knew Disick, who checked into rehab earlier this month, had such emotion in him?!? Elsewhere in the 30-second sneak peek: Caitlyn Jenner happily shows up and hangs out with her family. Kendall complains that her parents are making her choose between them. The family takes a vacation (sorry, a “vacay”) that involves many selfies, a lot of bikini-wearing and some ATV-driving. Tyga shows off his tattoo of his girlfriend's first name. As you’ve probably heard by now, Lamar Odom nearly died from a drug overdose last week and is currently undergoing extensive physical therapy Less than 24 hours after that shocking news broke, we learned that Scott Disick checked into rehab for the sixth time. The two incidents are probably unrelated, but they’ve led to jokes, speculation, blog posts and memes about the ways in which the Kardashians seem to ruin men’s lives . It’s ridiculous to think that the women themselves have such a negative impact on the lives of downtrodden dudes like Scott, Lamar and Rob Kardashian, but the guys’ issues may have a common bond. Perhaps these guys just had trouble coping with the fame and scrutiny that accompanied their involvement with ” America’s first family .” Whatever the case, folks on social media are having a field day with memes like this: That one was stolen posted to Instagram by famed hack/joke thief The Fat Jew . It’s just one example of the newest form of Kardashian-bashing. Ragging on the Kardasdhians is one of the Internet’s favorite pastimes, and we would never try to put a stop to it, but if this “Kardashian Curse” trend is to continue, it’s important to keep a few things clear: Caitlyn’s life was not ruined. She seems to be doing just fine. Don’t be D-bags, y’all. Scott and Lamar almost certainly suffered from substance abuse issues before they got romantically involved with members of the Kard clan. In fact, Kourtney and Khloe deserve credit for expressing their concern and offering help even after their relationships were through. Kanye will be just fine. You can see the dude’s ego from space. We can’t be certain about Tyga. Rob Kardashian probably suffers from depression . Yes, the constant glare of the reality show spotlight almost certainly isn’t helping his condition, but it’s not like his sisters are planning a two-hour special where they repeatedly bash his testicles with a sledgehammer. Although come to think of it, that would probably pull in bigger ratings and be less painful to watch than Kim and Kris Humphries’ wedding. Anthony Mackie clearly has a drinking problem. Though not the kind of drinking problem to which Scott Disick or others of that nature can relate. In an interview this week with BET, the actor was asked which 2016 Presidential campaign he would want to run, in light of his role in the new film Our Brand is Crisis . “I would 100 percent want to run Trump’s campaign,” said Mackie. “First, that’ll be the best party ever when he won, and second, Trump’s an easy sell.” An easy sell? How so? “If you you look at Trump, he’s an easy sell because you can sell him as the guy who worked his way up from nothing,” Mackie said. “And I think if you’re a ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ candidate, people would identify with that.” That may be true as a general role… but Trump’s father was a millionaire real estate developer who played a key role in his son’s path to riches. So Trump is the opposite of a guy who worked his way up from nothing. Other than that detail, Mackie’s assessment is spot on. “I’m on the bandwagon,” Mackie, the anti-Jennifer Lawrence , said when asked if he would be voting for Trump. “I’m drinking the Kool-Aid.” And we’ve heard that’s the BEST Kool-Aid out there. Man. The Kardashians sure do a number on dudes. Just ask this group, whose lives – for one reason or another – were never the same after the Kardashian and Jenner women finished with them. Kanye can probably handle it. The rest of them? 1. Lamar Odom Was Lamar Odom’s downward spiral triggered in part by his uneasiness with fame? And how his life continued to play out in the tabloids and on the E! show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, even after he and Khloe split up? We may never know for sure, but as he battles for his life and his prognosis looks ever more grim, the Kardashians’ role in this sad saga is sure to be hotly debated and heavily scrutinized. 2. Scott Disick Now in rehab for at least the sixth time, Scott Disick has been a party animal for years and can’t avoid his share of the blame for his own choices in life. Who cheats on the mother of their children and chooses alcohol over one’s kids? Still, his issues with the spotlight undoubtedly led to many of the demons he’s struggled with, and eventually caused him to snap. 3. Kris Humphries Remember Kim Kardashian’s second husband Kris Humphries? The one she was married to for 72 whole days? Yeah, his NBA career flamed out almost as quickly as their marriage. Having been involved in the conversation for most improved player in pro basketball, he soon became involved in one of the most ridiculous celebrity breakups of all time … then faded into obscurity where he belongs. 4. Brody Jenner Brody Jenner’s life is pretty damn amazing, and he’ll tell you as much, but at the same time, he’s been anti-Kardashian long before it was cool. Brody maintains a close relationship with father Caitlyn, as well as his biological half sisters Kendall and Kylie. But he’s publicly feuded with Kim, openly dislikes former stepmom Kris, and for the love of Pete, he’s had to LIVE with all of these people! 5. Ray J The man, the myth, the amateur porn who Hit It First has made a lot of money off of his X-rated rail-a-thon, and yet it probably hampered whatever chance he had of becoming a legitimate star in his own right. Ah, the duality of riding Kim Kardashian from behind while filming it. A paradox, if you will. 6. Rob Kardashian As the only son in a house with five sisters, the deck was stacked against Rob Kardashian from the start. He tried and failed at making socks. He was funny on Keeping Up. He went on Dancing with the Stars. Things were going okay for awhile, as he became inseparable from Khloe and her husband, Lamar Odom. But after those two split up, he went off the rails, bailed on Kim’s wedding, put on a TON of weight, started shading his family on social media, and generally turning into a recluse. Sad.
