As we reported earlier this week, Scott Disick was hospitalized last month following an emotional breakdown that left friends so concerned about his welfare that they contacted authorities. Disick was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, but released less than three days later after demonstrating that he did not present a threat to himself or others. As a result of Disick’s heavy drinking and recent downward spiral, it was widely assumed that his self-destructive lifestyle had finally caught up to the 34-year-old father of three. Now, however, sources close the Lord are revealing that the situation is more complex than it initially seemed. Sources close to Scott tell Radar Online that Disick’s hospitalization was tied to his drinking , but in an indirect fashion. It seems Scott has been struggling with an unspecified health issue for the past ten years, and his frequent drunkenness led him to stop taking his medications at some point over the past few months. “Scott started using drugs and alcohol as a way to escape from his problems,” one insider tells Radar. “However, the more he continued to drink, the worse his other problem became.” The nature of that “other problem” remains a mystery, but apparently, it was the basis for Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s claim that Scott needed to be hospitalized for his own safety. Yes, it was Scott’s ex-girlfriend and his former mother in law who requested the psychiatric hold, a reminder that while he’s burned just about every conceivable ridge, the Kardashians are standing by Disick. just as they supported Lamar Odom during his recent troubles. “Kourtney and Kris had to sign off on Scott getting 5150’d on August 18 because they are the closest thing to a family that Scott has,” says the insider. Apparently, Kourtney and Kris were quick to recognize Scott’s symptoms, and they contacted the police as a precaution. Fortunately, when the time came to enter treatment, Disick reportedly went without a fight. “Kourtney and Scott know that the incident was caused by him not taking medications that he is prescribed,” says the source. “Scott was compliant with the hospital doctor’s orders and was released.” While there are reports that Disick is still drinking , his condition has reportedly stabilized. It may be a while before we find out the details of Scott’s hospitalization, but sources say Disick’s struggles will be featured on the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians . Almost ten months ago, Ariel Winter stirred up controversy by dating Levi Meaden, who turns 30 one week from today. ( Ariel and Levi just head their 9 month anniversary last month) Even though they’re both adults, neither of them are old enough to be each other’s parent or whatever, their relationship got and still gets a lot of criticism. Especially after Levi moved in with Ariel. In part, maybe it’s because of their age gap, though less than 11 years isn’t the hugest age gap in the world, especially considering that they’re both hot. Though Ariel Winter’s twerking shows that she knows the effect that her butt can have, she’s defended herself and her shorts-wearing before, saying that she’s not a whore for wearing short-shorts , basically. We would point out that we’d advise everyone, not just Ariel Winter, to be conscious of how much of their bodies their clothing might reveal. Kourtney Kardashian’s troubled ex Scott Disick has been in the midst of downward spiral for months, but he appears to have hit rock bottom. Multiple outlets are reporting that the reality star and father of three was recently hospitalized and placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold. The news comes after months of reports of Disick drinking heavily and traveling the globe in what insiders have described as a non-stop party. It’s unclear what sort of behavior prompted authorities to rule that Disick was a danger to himself or others, but he was reportedly taken into custody late on the night of August 18: “On August 18th LAFD responded to a call from the home of Scott Disick,” the Los Angeles Fire Department tells Us Weekly of the incident. “Lost Hills Sheriffs were also on the scene shortly there after. LAFD officials transported Mr. Disick to a local hospital. No other information will be given out at this time.” Us reports that despite their messy breakup, Kourtney visited the hospital several times to show her support for Scott. Sources say Kourtney is deeply concerned about Disick, who has been in rehab four times since 2015. His latest bender is believed to have began after Scott learned that Kourtney is in a serious relationship with Younes Bendjima . The 23-year-old male model is not just dating Kourtney, but has reportedly assumed a father figure role in the lives of Scott’s children. Disick is now out of the hospital following the aforementioned incident, but it seems his erratic behavior shows no signs of abating. Several insiders are claiming that Scott is ignoring his friends and family’s pleas that he enter rehab to get the treatment he needs. Adding to concerns is the fact that Disick has unexpectedly moved out of the Hidden Hills home he purchased to be closer to his children. He recently placed the property up for sale or rent. “Scott is absolutely losing his mind, and that is why he has moved out of the Hidden Hills house,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “He does not want his kids around Younes, and he does not want Younes to try and be a father figure at all.” There’s currently no word on where Scott is living, or whether or not he’s still drinking after his release from the 5150. Is anyone else a little alarmed by how fast Amber Portwood’s new relationship is moving? Because you really, really should be. Sure, this new guy, Andrew Glennon , seems nice enough, and at least he has a job. Plus, as far as we know, he doesn’t have a slew of secret children he refuses to support. What we’re saying is that at this point, he seems miles better than Matt Baier, and that’s definitely a good thing. But the fact remains that Amber has never, ever been in a healthy relationship. Not ever. She was with Gary Shirley for a while, and they may win the crown for the most toxic relationship in Teen Mom history. After that, she dated that guy she met at the Walmart who later, on their first date, revealed that he’d just been released from prison and that meeting her was the best day of his life. She missed out on dating for a little while when she went to jail herself, but after she was released, she promptly began dating Matt. It’s all bad, and honestly, we kind of have to automatically question any guy who would think dating her right now would be a good idea. So sorry about it, Andrew. Last we checked, introducing your daughter to a guy you just really started talking to a month ago isn’t exactly “slow.” But thankfully, Andrew lives out in Malibu, and he hasn’t moved in with her — yet. So for now, they have a long distance relationship. Which, according to Amber, has ‘been good because we can give each other space. It balances everything out especially when you first break up with somebody.” Because, as she says, “you don’t really want to jump right into another situation” immediately after a breakup, but “some men are worth it, some aren’t.” And Andrew is “definitely worth my time.” As for the fact that Amber already introduced Andrew to her daughter, she says “Leah sent me a message, like, pretty much she really likes him.” “I think she just thinks he’s new and different which is a good thing, but like I said, nothing is forced and we’re not trying to jump that part of my life in, so it was very chill, very relaxing.” She adds that “Leah was very comfortable,” which … sure, OK. Sources say the family believes Disick is drinking himself to death , and they fear that if they don’t act soon, it could be too late. “Scott has gone off the deep end again,” an insider tells Entertainment Tonight, noting that Scott has been partying non-stop for over two weeks. “This is something that Scott has struggled with for years, and something Kourtney has dealt with since she has known Scott,” the source explains. “When Scott starts partying, he can’t stop.
