Last week, Scott Disick checked into rehab following an embarrassing incident at an Atlantic City hotel. It seems Scott was found drunk and barefoot , wandering the lobby of the Harrah’s Resort at 8 am, Sunday morning. Scott was escorted to his room, where he fell asleep and missed his checkout time and his flight to Chicago later that day. Not surprisingly, the incident made Scott realize the severity of his drinking problem, and just days later, he booked a room at the Rhythmia Life Advancement Center – a non-traditional addiction treatment facility in Costa Rica. The center specializes in Iboga therapy, in which patients consume all-natural hallucinogens and go on supervised “trips” that are intended to help them overcome their addictions. Sadly, it looks as though even such an unusual treatment method couldn’t keep Scott’s attention, as TMZ is reporting that Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy will be back in LA on Monday. Insiders say Scott actually had a flight home booked for today, but he had a last-second change of heart and decided to stay at the facility a bit longer. Even so, he’s falling well short of the recommended 21-day treatment plan. Disick has a long history of bailing on rehab , and he once ditched a Malibu treatment center after just 12 hours of in-patient care. His latest brief stint came last summer after Scott was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning . Disick admits that he could’ve died from the incident and it inspired him to seek help, but he lasted just one day in rehab. Veteran TV producer Jill Blackstone is under investigation stemming from the death of her sister, Wendy Blackstone, last weekend, according to police. At first, Wendy appeared to have died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning from a gas grill, but police believe the death scene may have been staged. Jill Blackstone is under investigation based a number of factors … Paramedics found Wendy Blackstone on the floor of the garage of the home where she and Jill lived. There was a grill in the garage, and ash in the grill. Wendy Blackstone, who was deaf and partially blind, was holding a handwritten suicide note … which the police strongly believe was written by Jill. The grill’s unusual placement at Wendy’s feet contributed to the investigators’ suspicion that it was a murder, and not suicide, that they had encountered. Jill was arrested for murder, but released last night after D.A. sent the case back to the police for further investigation. So she’s not out of the woods yet. She told paramedics she also passed out, but regained consciousness enough to ask a friend for help. That friend called 911 out of concern for Jill. The friend believed had suffered a stroke because her speech was slurred, and Jill had to be hospitalized for two days with carbon monoxide poisoning. She was arrested after her release Monday, then cut loose Wednesday. Wendy’s cause of death has yet to be released, pending toxicology results. Well, that didn’t take long. Moments ago, we reported that Scott Disick was found drunk and barefoot in the lobby of an Atlantic City hotel on Sunday morning. Now, several outlets are reporting that Disick has checked into a rehab facility in Costa Rica to be treated for alcohol addiction. In a statement released by his publicist, Disick is quoted as saying, “I realize my issues are bigger than me and I am ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle.” Scott reportedly admitted himself after being given an ultimatum by his longtime girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian. In the past, Kourtney has threatened to leave Scott if he didn’t quit drinking , but she’s never followed through. Disick checked into rehab last summer, but he left in-patient care after only one day of treatment. According to his statement, Scott will undergo Iboga treatment, which involves eating the roots of a small African tree as a means of combating addiction. It’s certainly not the traditional method of detoxing, but considering how unsuccessful Scott’s efforts to get sober have been in the past, we can understand why he might be desperate to try something new.
