Love & Hip-Hop: Soulja Boy Defends Diamond And Puts Lil Scrappy On Blast For Talking Isht About His Boo Thang!

..And in that order! Soulja Boy has defended his new girlfriend Diamond against comments made by her ex-boyfriend Lil Scrappy. Soulja, who was accompanied by Diamond to the 2012 BET Awards last weekend, believes that Scrappy was coming at him in the media recently when talking about his failed relationship with the ex-Crime Mob member: “This is my baby, this is my girl, so anything said about her is basically they’re saying it about me,” Soulja told MTV. “I’m backin’ her 100 percent, and we’re just focusing on the positive. Anybody talkin’ about her name on TV, that’s just bringin’ us up more. So salute to them, we wish them the best.” While Scrappy did mention both Diamond and Soulja in a previous interview, he actually wished them the best of luck. Things began to heat up last year when it was revealed that Diamond was dating Soulja Boy. It’s unclear whether she cheated on Scrappy or if her relationship with the Soulja Boy came after, but whatever the case, Scrap feels slighted. Scrappy said he helped Diamond get her rap career on track, putting her needs before his own, and after their breakup, he felt used. Plus, with the news Scrappy’s mom, Mama Dee reportedly ran Diamond off the filming of Love & Hip Hop ATL as well as talking about her “hygiene issues” on the show, we’re sure her presence is not missed. Do you think Soulja is being a real ride or die boyfriend by defending Diamond? Source

Lil Scrappy And Stevie J’s ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ Fight ‘A Real Situation’

Scrappy tells ‘RapFix Live’ about the drama, denying rumors the show is scripted. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Lil Scrappy Photo: You can expect the female cast of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” to kick up some dust this season, but the guys get into their fair share of drama as well. A preview trailer for the rest of the upcoming season shows Lil Scrappy and record producer Stevie J. getting into a heated argument. Of course the tease is cut so we don’t see much of the action, but the clip does show an agitated Scrap punching a wall after he and Stevie go nose-to-nose. “It was a situation; it was a real situation,” Scrap said when he appeared on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday. According to Scrappy, the argument began after Stevie disrespected recurring castmember Erica, Scrappy’s child’s mother. The ATL MC feels that if Stevie had a problem with Erica, he should’ve bypassed her and addressed Scrappy instead. “Like I told him, you can walk off, you don’t gotta disrespect no female,” he said. “If you really wanna do something, ask her where her man at and tell him you wanna throw hands, you wanna take the fade, and I would’ve been happy to do that.” Though Stevie and Scrappy are accomplished musicians and both now reside in the same city, Scrap says prior to the show neither he nor Erica had a personal connection to the multiplatinum producer, who has done work for the likes of Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey. “He didn’t even ask — he didn’t know who she was. All he knew is she was a part of the situation and he wanted to pop off,” Scrappy said. The “Money in the Bank” MC wouldn’t give away the details of the fisticuffs, but he did shoot down whispers that he, his mother and his child’s mother were following a script. “I don’t know about the whole show and how [Stevie J.] do his end. I know my team Scrappy — we real on that side,” he said. Do you believe that “Love & Hip Hop” is scripted? Sound off in the comments! Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ Gets Scrappy

Lil Scrappy Recalls Momma Dee’s Gritty Pimp Days

‘At the end of the day, mom took care of home,’ ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star Scrappy tells ‘RapFix Live.’ By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Lil Scrappy on “RapFix Live” Photo: One episode in, VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” already has captivated audiences with its wild cast of characters. Perhaps the most magnetic of the bunch is Momma Dee, mother to rap star Lil Scrappy . Momma Dee comes off as overprotective and overbearing, but it is clear that there is nothing she wouldn’t do for her children, including selling drugs and pimping to make ends meet. When Lil Scrappy appeared on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live,” he opened up about the lengths his mother went to to provide for him. “Mom dukes was layin’ it down hard back in the day when I was coming up,” Lil Scrappy said. He recalled a time when a prostitute who was working for his mother left to join with a rival pimp. When Momma Dee finally met up with her ex-worker, violence ensued and a young Scrappy was there to witness it all. “My mama caught her slippin’ in traffic and bust her across the head with a crowbar,” he recalled. “That crowbar was stuck in her head and she was sittin’ there shakin’.” While the incident affected him at the time, the ATL rapper now awkwardly laughs it off. While Scrappy admits that he had to see some pretty awful things as a youngster, he doesn’t resent his mom for any of it. “I had to sleep in a room with mom dukes, and my little sister because all the whores was using the rooms to do their thing,” he said. “But at the end of the day, mom took care of home. Me and my sister ain’t never had to hurt for nothin’.” Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ Gets Scrappy Related Artists Lil Scrappy

Esteemed video director Chris Robinson will also join Sway live Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Rob Markman Lil Scrappy Photo: Lil Scrappy is back, and in a major way. The Dirty South MC will star will VH1’s new reality series “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” premiering Monday (June 18); will release his new album, The Grustle , on June 26; and will make his first “RapFix Live” appearance on Wednesday. It was 2006 when Scrappy dropped his debut album, Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live . With both Lil Jon and 50 Cent serving as executive producers, the ATL MC had the best of both worlds: Jon’s crunk sound and Fif’s gangster bravado. Scrappy continued to release mixtape material independently on the street, but his long-awaited The Grustle never saw the light of day — that is, until now. The LP’s lead single, “Helicopter,” features 2 Chainz and Twista, and on June 26, Scrappy fans will finally get the album they’ve been asking for. They’ll also simultaneously get a glimpse into Scrappy’s romantic life on “Love & Hip Hop.” He’ll break it all down at 4 p.m. ET this Wednesday on MTV.com. Scrap isn’t the only ATL rapper who will grace the red couch this week: Newcomer Cash Out will also appear on “RapFix Live.” The young rapper’s current single, “Cashin’ Out,” has become a club staple and earned him a record deal with L.A. Reid over at Epic Records. To cap things off, we will welcome esteemed video director Chris Robinson (Nas’ “Daughters,” Alicia Keys’ “Fallin’ ” and Jay-Z’s “Change Clothes”) and take a look back at Hot 107.9 ‘s Birthday Bash all-star concert in Atlanta.
