Back in July, Amber Portwood was arrested after allegedly assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon. The details of the incident were brutal — according to the police report, Amber attacked Andrew with a machete and struck him while he held the couple's 1-year-old son — and things only got worse from there. At this point, several audio recordings have emerged in which Amber threatens to kill Andrew and can be heard assaulting him in the presence of their baby. Fans assumed such horrific abuse would result in Amber being fired from Teen Mom OG — but according to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup , Portwood still has her job at MTV. Here's what we know about the situation thus far: 1. Unscathed Amber Portwood has been accused of truly horrific acts of abuse, and there’s a mountain of evidence pointing to her guilt. Despite this, it seems she has not been fired from Teen Mom OG. 2. Getting Away With It In a shocking new report from The Ashley’s Reality roundup, a production insider confirms that Portwood still has a job, and will continue to appear on new episodes of Teen Mom OG. 3. A Baffling Decision “Amber has 100 percent filmed for the new season,” says the source. “She is not being fired by MTV.” 4. Letting It Ride It seems insane that MTV and parent company Viacom would risk so much by continuing to employ someone who is quite clearly guilty of domestic abuse. 5. Ratings Rule But it seems the powers that be believe Portwood’s story will continue to attract viewers. And with ratings at an all-time low, TMOG needs all the help it can get. 6. The blessed news was kept quiet for a short period of time, prior to the proud grandmother posting a picture of Maddie’s kids and writing as a caption: Axel loves his new little sister Evie (Short for Evangalynn)! Please tell me that other grandmothers can stare at their grandkids photos forever. #grandkids. Since then, Maddie has been kind enough to post a number of adorable pictures of little Evie, including this one immediately below, which features husband Caleb as well: We love it. We also love both the latest snapshot Maddie has published to her Instagram account, along with the amazing caption she included along with it. In the photo, as you’re about to see, little Evangalynn is wearing a floral top and donning a yellow bow. The photo went out to Maddie’s 220,000 followers, as did this simple and motivational sentence: I hope I raise her to think she breathes fire! Simply perfect, right? Both the little girl and also Maddie’s message here, that she wants Evie to grow up to be strong and confident and ready to take on the world. With Sister Wives set to premiere amidt a flurry of troubling rumors regarding Kody and his better halves, it’s refreshing to have some positive news once in relation to this family. It’s a welcome change, in our opinion. To keep the smiles flowing, here’s another look at Axel and Evie: “Someone once told me parenthood consists of a lot of long days and short years. Something that hits home so hard,” Brown wrote on Instagram back on September 12. She then shared several more thoughts about this unique time in her life. “Miss Evie is 3 weeks and and Axel is almost 2.5 and I feel like its all become one tiny little blur and time has robbed me,” she explained, continuing as follows: “How did my first baby get so big? Why is my second already almost a month old!?” We’re sure almost every parent out there has asked the same question at some point in his or her journey. Concluded Maddie in this message: Time is a theif and on days I get irrationally mad at what its robbing me of. I wish I could freeze it and soak up these babies just a little longer! Another day – another scandal. We’ve made it through fashion week with only a few hiccups, but now H&M is once again under fire. The brand was in the news in 2018 for having a little Black boy wear a shirt that said, “The coolest monkey in the jungle.” Now they are facing scrutiny for how a young Black woman’s hair was featured on their site. It was celebrity hairstylist, Vernon Francois , who shamed the brand via Instagram. Before I begin, I do not have the facts, nor have I seen any statement by #H&M or the team who worked on this. This post is just an assessment based on all my years of seeing situations like this happen time and time again. And its got to stop. This beautiful young girl’s #kinky hair appears to have had very little to no attention yet all of her counterparts have clearly sat in front of someone who was more then capable of styling other hair textures. My heart breaks imagining yet another girl from my community sitting in front of a mirror being ignored by the team around her, left to her own devices because someone didn’t know how to handle her texture. As if that’s not bad enough…. Prior to this campaign appearing this photograph will have been seen and APPROVED by countless ‘professionals'. Lets say conservatively 50 people. It’s breathtaking to me that not one person looked at this shot and had the same reaction that the internet seems to be feeling since the campaign broke. THAT IS AN ISSUE. We must do better. The other issue is that often at fashion shows or shoots, Black models are forced to do their hair themselves because hairstylists who can do their hair are not hired on set. Yes, despite all the diversity initiatives, we are still having this issue in 2019. The school aged kids who model for us come to the photo studio in the afternoon after school and we aim for a natural look which reflects that.” Well. It is true that a young Black girl with Type 4 hair could leave her house with her hair looking together and after school and rough play on the playground, look like this. This is natural, Type 4 hair, without a brush and edge control. If people were shocked, is it normally because we are used to seeing it “tamed”? Personally, I understand what H&M is trying to do; however, I believe that an image lasts a lifetime. If all the other kids are represented looking polish, I’d appreciate if someone put a paddle brush to this child’s hair and helped to smooth her afro puff. A Little People, Big World star has some rather huge news to share: SHE’S ENGAGED! Amy Roloff has confirmed to People Magazine that she and Chris Marek have finally agreed to marry, several months after the Internet started to wonder in earnest just when this special development might take place. “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” Amy tells People , adding to the publication: “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.” Marek popped the major question at dinner on Wednesday night, a day after Amy’s birthday. He rarely talks to the press, but such a special occasion calls for a special opportunity, prompting Marek to say the following to People of Roloff and their engagement: “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.” Mere days ago, social media users took a close look at a photo of Amy and wondered whether she and Marek were engaged. These same social media users had posed the same question numerous times before, figuring a proposal simply had to be in the works. Amy was previously married to Matt Roloff, with whom she shares four children: twin brothers Jeremy and Zach, 29, daughter Molly, 26, and youngest son Jacob, 22. She filed for divorce in 2015 after 27 years of marriage and recently opened up in her memoir about Matt at least having had an emotional affair toward the end of their relationship. Still, the exes remain very close, co-starring on Little People, Big World every season and even living on the same farm property until just a few months ago. Amy has been with Marek for about three years. In a December of 2016 episode of her family’s TLC reality show, Amy told Molly about her single life and hitting it off with Marek. “I’m having a good time,” she said way back then. “You know, I had a couple of pool parties. I had, like, 40 people here. No, I probably had, like, 50 people here. “Then this guy Chris that I met, he came to the party, too. We got to talking and he invited me to go on a motorcycle ride. Oh, I’m having a ball!” Since this time, since they started to get serious, Amy has accompanied Chris on a number of motorcycle rides and trips; she has often documented these outings on Instagram. Despite her clearly strong feelings for Chris, Amy often pushed back on the idea of getting married for a second time. Why? Because she feared getting hurt again — and also because she formerly had some doubts about whether she and Marek could truly work. Speaking with her girlfriends about her relationship with Marek in 2017, Roloff confessed that she didn’t think she’d find love with someone of average height. “I just never thought someone who is average size would be interested in me,” she said in a TLC clip from from that tear. “I just really want him to never question or doubt the relationship because I’m a little person…” “I just have a good time. While the world continues to mourn poor little Nugget, the family bulldog David Eason shot and murdered a few weeks ago, we’ve now learned that something else close to the heart of Jenelle Evans may soon be dead: Her recently-launched makeup line. According to a new report, JE Cosmetics is bascially already a bust. As previously detailed, Evans launched this new business about a week ago . The eyebrow kit, which hilariously retails for $40, is meant to provide income for Jenelle and her family, with the embattled former reality star clearly hoping to strike it rich in this industry, just like billionaire Kylie Jenner. After several days of her product on the market, however, Evans may be closer to asking Kylie for a loan than actually being Kylie… based on the very slow sales. A source involved in Jenelle’s makeup busines has told Radar Online that Evans has only sold 150 kits since the launch earlier this month. On the official company website, customers are still able to purchase up to 2,822 eyebrow kits, which may indicate the amount of products still available — and which would therefore mean that Jenelle only moved about 5% of her inventory in a month. Ouch . “They will be doing more advertising and getting a better shipper,” this insider tells Radar, remarking on Jenelle’s plans to turn her business around. This may be a challenge, however, considering the online response to those that actually sold. “The brow pencil completely snapped off within a minute of using it, no matter how short I made it, it would snap off,” a Twitter review of the eyebrow kits reads. It concludes: “There was 1 inch of product in it to begin with, now there is none. Complete waste.” Teen Mom Young: & Pregnant star Ashley Jones, meanwhile, claimed she would review the product herself — but later opted out doing so because due to of color options. “I will NOT be buying Jenelle’s brow kit cause it only comes in 1 color and none of them are dark enough for my brows,” she Tweeted. “So, sorry guys.” Jenelle — whose kit is comprised of a brow wand, enhancement highlighter, brow powder and stay put wax — celebrated the business launch with an event during New York Fashion Week on Monday, September 9. She sounded pretty psyched about the company’s future at the time. “I’m just really happy that I can come out with something that can be universal for everyone,” Evans told Us Weekly at the opening, adding: “They don’t have to go match their shade. They can just by one kit and be done with it — and have everything they need.” To be clear, JE Cosmetics actually launched in 2017. The Instagram page promoted liquid lipstick and lip liner back then. However, Jenelle never really focused or promoted it because of her committment to Teen Mom 2. Now that she’s been fired , though? Due to all the ways in which she and Eason are awful parents? Jenelle has time to exploit her daughter (below) and try to sell her eyebrow kit to fans, assuming she actually has any, that is. Getting her glam on , wrote Jenelle as a caption to this photo of young Ensley, tagging JE Cosmetics in the photo. “I was trying to groom my eyebrows and I knew that I used the pencil a lot,” explained Evans to Us Weekly of the motivation for this product, concluding: “[But I] sometimes used powder and then I had to go get wax for it. “And I was like, why didn’t someone just put this all in one kit? Then I wouldn’t need to go searching for it!” The good news here is that Eason has started BlackRiverMetalnWood on Etsy, selling handmade leather key chains and bracelets that range from $25 to $45.
