Mary Jo Eustace, Dean McDermott’s former wife, was reportedly paid $10,000 for her appearance on True Tori Season 2, and even that took some persuading. Not only did it take money, but producers had to promise the original Mrs. McDermott that she won’t be portrayed as any sort of villain, a new report claims. Insiders say Mary Jo Eustace was first “approached by Dean at Tori’s demand to see if there was any interest in coming on the show,” for its second season. “Producers needed a new storyline, and Mary Jo’s name came up.” Eustace didn’t agree immediately, but eventually came around: “At first, Mary Jo said no, but began to talk to Tori. After being offered $10,000, and a promise that she would not be portrayed as the evil ex-spouse, Mary Jo agreed.” Tori Spelling famously hooked up with McDermott when she was married to another man, and he was married to Mary Jo. The cheating pair eventually left their spouses. Now married with four kids of their own, their own union was left in tatters last year when Dean allegedly put it to Emily Goodhand while traveling on business. If there was redemption in store for Judi, that would be a net positive, but her behavior is so out of control it almost seems like there are mental issues here. Like Amanda Bynes , she’s not a raging drunk, but she’s having conversations with herself quite often and seems to embody the traits of several personalities. She regularly takes “Judi time” to figure out who Judi is, yet it seems like she never really gleans the answer from that effort. This isn’t all about drinking. And why act that way voluntarily if you actually want to be liked? Which it seems like she does? This doesn’t make any sense and is really a bit sad. Natalie, meanwhile, is very much with it. She details a plot to get Judi so drunk on Hennessy, wine, whatever it takes to get her out … until she does an about face and starts to baby her instead. Is Natalie just perpetrating a scheme to worm her way into Judi’s good graces just so she can screw her over? If so, that’s doubly sad after watching this. Because it seems to really help Judi. Life Coach Laura talks a lot about how the season is not about shame, “just growth.” These two showed signs here on Bad Girls Club Season 13 Episode 2. Can they maintain? Each of the three contestants put a very different twist on this, and after Thao was announced the winner of the competition, she broke down in tears. Thao feels like her career now has legitimacy, as does China, who earns second place and another opportunity to compete for a chance in the finals. Poor Temeka is out, but she knows this isn’t the end of her career. In fact, her experience on Nail’d It proves she has what it takes to be among the best. After two episodes, we have Classic and Thao in the finals. Next week, three new competitors will create nail art that is the bouquet for a bride’s wedding. That should be incredible, and incredibly high stakes, given that it’s a wedding and all … not to mention a far cry from the candy scene in this episode. Doing fragile and highly scrutinized work on the most memorable and photographed day of someone’s life? Let’s hope the Bling Queen is up to the task.
Amanda Bynes is safe inside a Pasadena, Calif., mental facility, which we can all agree is probably the best place for her right now, as sad as it is to say. That doesn’t mean she sees it that way, though. At all. Amanda Bynes’ Parents Seek Mental Health Treatment For Her Bynes’ parents, with the help of her friend Sam Lutfi , created an elaborate scheme to get her on a plane from New York to L.A. and committed against her will. It all went down last Thursday and Friday, with Lutfi running point on the ruse to fool Amanda Bynes into coming home to California … to sue her parents. Playing on Amanda’s distrust of Rick and Lynn Bynes might seem like a troubling way of accomplishing their goal, but it got results as she got on a plane. Once she landed, Lutfi convinced her to take a car service to what she believed was a Pasadena law office for a meeting about suing her parents for abuse. The building was actually a mental facility. When she walked in the front door, she was restrained and involuntarily committed, placed under a 5150 hold that was just extended another two weeks. Not surprisingly, given the nature of the actress’ relationship with her parents in the first place, being duped in this manner has not helped mend fences. It takes time to heal.” “For me, having two children is a big family and they’ve got four.” “Obviously they’ve already interjected [the storyline] into the show,” he continues. “I know if it’s true or not, but I don’t want to be the one to come out and say.” Another Tori source adds, “It’s not true.
