Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler aren’t just dating. She’s head over heels for him. “I’m in love,” she told People Saturday night at Las Vegas’ The Bank Nightclub while celebrating her 24th birthday. Jay Cutler? Not present that night. That’s because he was suiting up to lead the Chicago Bears to a 35-24 victory over Seattle Sunday. They’re now one win from the Super Bowl somehow. Jay’s favorite tight end in her standard uniform . “I want to be there,” she said. “I’m bummed that I’m not there and he’s not here.” Cutler was there in spirit. Dude sent a large bouquet of pink flowers to her table. “Things are really good,” she continued . “I’m just enjoying my personal life and taking a little time away from the public eye, which is why Chicago is great for me. My mom and that whole side of the family is there. And Jay is there.” “I’m just in love and it’s been great.”

SMH: The Seattle Seahawks (7-9) upset the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints (11-5) today as they finished with a 41-36 victory. So, not only is the first playoff game that features a team that posted a losing record in the regular season, but its also the first in which such a team won. It just goes to show, anything can happen in the playoffs. The Seahawks were down 10-0 early but they came back to lead 24-20 at the half primarily because tight end John Carlson caught a pair of touchdown passes. Of course, they knew that they must come out swinging in the second half, and they did exactly that as they scored another 10 points to give them a two-score lead going into the final period. The Saints would orchestrate a comeback and score 17 points in the fourth, but it proved to not be enough. What killed them was the Seahawks rushing attack, which amassed 149 yards including an astounding 67-yard touchdown run from running back Marshawn Lynch that ultimately sealed the deal. Drew Brees threw for 404 yards and posted a 95.4 passer rating but he had virtually no help from his rushing attack that managed just 77 yards. All in all, a great victory for the Seahawks and congratulations to head coach Pete Carrol and their franchise. Poor Saints… Source

Rapper is in an Atlanta hospital pending mental examination before January 24 sentencing. The Atlanta-based star (real name Radric Davis) was arrested on November 2 when police discovered him driving on the wrong side of the road. Police needed to use pepper spray to subdue the rapper but he was later released. The traffic charges against the “Lemonade” lyricist were eventually dropped. On Monday, the rapper appeared in court for a probation hearing related to the incident. Records from the Fulton County Superior Court Clerk’s office obtained by MTV News reveal Gucci Mane filed a “special plea of mental incompetency” on December 27 indicating he is unable to “intelligently participate” in the revocation process. Gucci Mane is set to stand before a judge again on January 24. At that time, a sentence will be recommended — expected to be 17 months — for violating his post-prison supervision terms. The rapper was released from prison last May after a previous violation. In the meantime, the rapper has been admitted to Anchor Hospital where he will undergo a “competency hearing” to determine his mental state.
