President Trump Orders 59-Missle Strike On Syria Not even a full 100 days into his presidency, Donald Trump has already signed off on his first act of war. As CNN reports, US warships launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at a Syrian government airbase on Donald Trump’s orders. The airbase is apparently where the warplanes that executed the chemical attacks earlier this week were based. This is the first military action the US has taken in Syria during the country’s six-year civil war under President Bashar al-Assad. If you’ll recall, Trump previously wanted to keep the US uninvolved in Syria’s dealings, even going so far as to make sure that none of the war’s refugees made it into the country . However suddenly, he feels like their horrific war acts warrant US involvement. As he said in a brief statement given at the “Winter White House” Mar-A-Lago: “Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched. It is in this vital national security of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons. There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and ignored the urging of the UN Security Council. Years of previous attempts at changing Assad’s behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically.” Welp…it’s highly likely that President Bashar al-Assad will take the strike as a declaration of war, so it remains to be seen what will happen from here… Splash

Jay Z, Blue Ivy And Beyoncé Spotted At Lunch In Venice The coupled up Carters, Jay Z and Beyoncé had a family outing that included their five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and Hov’s mom Gloria Carter on Friday. According to E! News reports the family was accompanied by security guards as they headed to one of their favorite restaurants, Gjelina, in Venice. Bey rocked a large floppy hat and bohemian style dress. She rode to the restaurant in one of three Escalades that carried the group, their security and entourage. Jay drove a Tesla with his mom as his passenger. The family sat in their usual section in the back of the restaurant for over an hour. When they finished their security drove one of the Escalades to the curb by the venue’s exit and Bey slipped inside. Following lunch the group headed to Def Jam’s offices a few miles away where Hov and Gloria picked up a woman. Today’s move has been described as “unprecedented,” and not surprisingly, it has more than a little to do with the election of Donald Trump . “Make no mistake, this has been a difficult year,” Rachel Bronson, executive director and publisher of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists In its official statement about how colossally f–ked we all are, the board had this to say: ” Over the course of 2016, the global security landscape darkened as the international community failed to come effectively to grips with humanity’s most pressing existential threats, nuclear weapons and climate change … “This already-threatening world situation was the backdrop for a rise in strident nationalism worldwide in 2016, including in a U.S. presidential campaign during which the eventual victor, Donald Trump, made disturbing comments about the use and proliferation of nuclear weapons and expressed disbelief in the overwhelming scientific consensus on climate change .” So there you have it folks. When a reality show is axed by its network, more often than not, low ratings are the primary (or only) reason behind the decision. The Kardashian clan may soon find out the answer to that question. As you’ve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gun point in Paris on Sunday night. The television and social media icon was asleep in her hotel room when she was awakened by five armed bandits disguised as police officers. The thieves – who are still at large – reportedly made off with an estimated $10 million in jewelry. According to the 35-year-old mother of two, the assailants put tape over her mouth and held a gun to her head. Kim says she feared she’d be rape , and was certain at one point that she would be murdered. Thankfully, she wasn’t harmed, and her two children were not present for the terrifying ordeal. Frighteningly, investigators believe the robbery was an inside job . According to Us Weekly , Kim is now on her way back to Los Angeles after a brief stopover in New York City. She’s told her inner circle that she plans to keep a lower profile on social media, and thus far, it seems she’s sticking to that strategy. Kim hasn’t posted anything on Twitter or Instagram in four days, a lifetime for a woman who makes her living largely on social media. Her husband, Kanye West, has rescheduled concerts that were supposed to take place in Detroit and Philadelphia this week. But perhaps the precaution that says the most about how seriously Kim is taking the threat to her security relates to the show that helped turned her into a household name. Insiders say filming for Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been delayed indefinitely. There’s no word on when shooting will resume, but it’s already been delayed for at least the next two weeks. At this point, the show will require a longer hiatus than usual before it returns with new episodes, and many are wondering if it might be over for good. As the central star star and an executive producer of the series, Kim is in the unique position of being able to cancel her own show. She certainly doesn’t need the money at this stage in her career, and no one would blame her if she decided she values her family’s safety over more airtime on E! There are sure to be spinoffs for her famous sisters, and sources say there’s already enough extant footage for a final, truncated season.
