Christmas Abbott is totally badass. The NASCAR pit crew member with the unusual name is making quite a name for herself, for a variety of reasons. Basically, she’s smoking hot, covered in tattoos, served the U.S. in Iraq and does a job few women could physically handle – all at 5’3″ and 115 pounds! Danica Patrick, for all her abilities, is Christmas Abbott, a 31-year-old with a gun inked on her hip who can squat a stunning 255 pounds … “currently.” She’s working on upping that figure. Last week, the war veteran signed on as a NASCAR pit crew member in the Camping World Truck Series, where she’ll change tires for driver Jennifer Jo Cobb. She also will be in Clint Bowyer’s pit for Sunday’s Daytona 500 – where Patrick has the pole position, it’s worth noting – in preparation for future pit work. Christmas Abbott will be on hand shadowing the Michael Waltrip Racing crew in anticipation of a potential “over the wall” assignment down the line. Anyone who doubts whether Abbott has what it takes to survive in the pits of this demanding and male dominated world had best not count her out. “I have to get dirty and [travel] overnight,” Abbott said. “NASCAR fans are die-hard and they will call out your B.S.
