Based on a new report, Selena Gomez might wanna worry less about taking down Miley Cyrus and more about her own well-being. About a month removed from rehab, the singer is still feelings the affects of being destroyed by Justin Bieber . So much so, in fact, that her friends are concerned about what will happen next to Selena. “It’s not humanly possible to recover from your rock bottom that quickly,” a pal tells Star. “She’s still very fragile and not coping with her problems at all.” It remains unclear just what the nature of those problems are, as the artist’s rep vehemently denies she required professional assistance last month due to substance abuse. Try telling that to Bieber, however. Justin and his friends supposedly insist that Gomez is a drunk who would often drink them under the table when the group partied together. But this latest report actually points to mental problems for the star, with one insider fearing a breakdown of Britney-Spears-shaves-her-head-and-attacks-people-with-an-umbrella proportions. “She’s jabbering to herself, and everyone is worried she’s about to pull a Britney,” says an anonymous source. “She’s a very troubled young girl, and if she doesn’t get it together, the psych ward could be next.” Oh my. In one of our favorite tabloid reports of 2014 thus far, Selena Gomez has recruited Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift in a plan to “take down” Miley Cyrus. You’re not even gonna believe why, THGers. Actually, maybe you will. Life & Style claims Lovato and Swift are helping Gomez “plot revenge” against Cyrus for – yes hooking up with Justin Bieber – while he was dating Gomez. A purported Gomez “insider” quoted by the magazine says, “Both Taylor and Demi know how heartbroken Selena’s been, and hate what Miley did to her.” Adds the source of the alleged alliance, “All four girls used to be friendly, but when Selena heard Miley started making moves on Justin, it went downhill.” Of course, it’s very much unclear if that ever happened … but whatever. If you except this hilarious story as even remotely true, which is a major stretch, how are they planning this supposedly epic takedown of Miley Cyrus? “By refusing to attend the same parties and club events as Miley, and trash talking her to anyone who’ll listen,” for starters, they hope to end her reign. The end goal of this smear camapign, an insider alleges? “Freezing Miley out of lucrative appearances that used to net her a jaw-dropping $300,000 a night.” Wait a second now … Miley Cyrus does paid appearances? Since when? All four ladies are huge celebrities at this point, with successful careers and tours. Neither is relying on money from club appearances a la Farrah Abraham. Also, Miley Cyrus being frozen out of anything? That’s clearly not happening. Her profile continues to grow with every Twerk or fan’s thong she eats . Not shockingly, according to a Gomez insider, the story is totally bogus: “There is no conspiracy against Miley. These girls are all way too busy in their lives to be participating in the nonsense described in this ridiculous story.” Well that’s just too logical and not nearly fun enough. Boo. Alas, this gossip item was just too fun not to print, but it appears too good to be true. We’d believe it if they were furious at Jake Gyllenhaal for taking Taylor’s v-card and dumping her, or came at Bieber for his text messages to Selena Gomez (below) Not Miley, though. Justin Bieber Tweeted a message to fans this morning, informing them of his plans for the week. And they don’t include throwing eggs at his neighbor’s house or drag racing. So the singer is on an improved track! Justin Bieber Sends Message to Fans: Be Great! “Dance rehearsal. Guitar practice. Workouts. Voice strengthening. Studio writing sessions,” Justin wrote, ending his Tweet by getting inspirational: “Always working to get better. Work hard. Be great.” Bieber has been relatively quiet over the past few weeks. He hasn’t gotten arrested once and his “All That Matters” co-star,  Cailin Russo , has actually made more news than Justin has, thanks to a series of viral topless photo. Perhaps Bieber is finally listening to the pleas of his followers, who have clearly been reaching out to him over social media. “I see all your comments. Keep strong. Be the best that you can be. Much love,” he also wrote today. He also might be listening to his mother, with insiders saying Pattie Mallette is genuinely concerned over her son’s behavior these days. With Justin Bieber lashing out and claiming Selena Gomez is a drunk  who went to rehab to deal with her own damn issues, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department now has something to say to the singer: YOU’RE A FELON! TMZ reports that the Justin Bieber egging case has officially been sent over to the Los Angeles County District Attorney and the police are recommending he be charged with a felony. Justin Bieber: Felony Charges to Come? As previously reported, Bieber is accused of causing over $20,000 worth in damage to his neighbor’s home in Calabasas last month after he hurled a number eggs in his enemy’s direction. The cops subsequently executed a search warrant of Bieber’s property, hoping to find some kind of evidence that would link him to the crime. They failed to find anything new inside his home, although they did arrest Lil Za there for drug possession. Still, authorities apparently believe there is enough to drop the hammer of justice down on the rule-breaking singer. “I went to the D.A.’s Office today with the paperwork, and I want a felony,” Lt. Justin Bieber to Selena Gomez: Don’t Blame Me, You Drunk!

Justin Bieber is reportedly far from pleased that he’s being blamed for Selena Gomez’s rehab stint, saying his former flame is a party girl through and through. The addiction problems that resulted in Gomez checking into rehab are hers and hers alone, says Bieber, regardless of what he and his friends do for fun. TMZ, citing “sources with daily Bieber contact” (Lil Za?) says the star and his posse are laughing at the “bad influence” claims reported in the press. That’s because Selena, they say, is always the drunk girl at the party. Bieber acknowledges he gets trashed, too. There’s no dispute there, nor could there possibly be, given the stories, photos and videos we’ve all seen. What he does dispute is the idea that he corrupted her, seeing she was known to smoke just as much weed as the guys and sometimes outdo them. Justin’s camp say Gomez was/is very into drinking alcohol as well. So what’s with the story that she went to rehab because of him? Selena Gomez Bailed on Rehab: Why? Justin apparently feels Selena’s parents are behind that narrative … because they despise him. In his eyes, he’s a convenient scapegoat for them. As we previously reported, Bieber’s camp warned him to stay away from her, believing she is the bad influence here, despite her good girl reputation. The Biebs’ brushes with the law are well-documented, and his handlers think she indirectly fuels that, as he tends to act out when he’s hung up on her. As you can see, the finger-pointing appears to be reciprocal. For his part, Justin’s happy she’s out of the picture because she’s just too high maintenance and out of control – a far cry from what Gomez’s people say. Justin Bieber’s inner circle, including manager Scooter Braun, have reportedly advised him to steer clear of Selena Gomez … because SHE is a bad influence! No, we didn’t get that wrong, although it seems like it should be the other way around. “The message has been sent,” a source close to the situation said. “There is always so much ridiculous drama involving both of them.” Well that much is true … but how is Gomez to blame for it? “They fight constantly and Selena loves to keep Justin hanging. He always acts out after they fight. Selena is just not good for Justin,” says the insider. “They need to stay away from each other.” Just how toxic the pair can be together was laid bare in those alleged Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez text messages that went viral earlier this month. Her camp has denied that it’s real, while his has been mum on the subject. Regardless of whether the texts (below) are legit, the drama certainly is. Still, after Justin Bieber’s arrest for DUI drag racing , resisting arrest and driving on an expired license last week, the anti-Gomez warning seems odd. In the wake of the arrest, Bieber’s camp notes that Gomez was at his Calabasas, Calif., mansion the night he allegedly hurled eggs at a neighbor’s property. Selena Gomez’s rep has denied the legitimacy of the bitter text exchange between the singer-actress and on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. The text messages, which leaked and went viral, appeared to show tensions escalating with Gomez and Bieber, who sent her derogatory messages. The 21-year-old’s rep, Jill Fritzo, issued a firm “not real” when the Daily Mail (UK) contacted her for her reaction to the alleged nude pics and vile slurs. Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez Texting War Radar Online published the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez text messages , which they claim were exchanged after the duo had a bitter fight last week. The texts (posted below) were allegedly forwarded to one of the 21-year-old actress’ friends from a phone registered to her stepfather Brian Teefey. This was after police raided Bieber’s home and arrested one of his confidants, Lil Za , on drug charges. Selena (supposedly) told Justin to get helo. The 19-year-old Canadian singer and his on-off-girlfriend sparked reconciliation rumors last month when they started hanging out again, but it wasn’t to be. “I was honest with you and I gave you a second chance. All my friends were right,” she allegedly texted, before calling him a drug addict who needs help. “You need to listen to Scooter (Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager) and go to rehab. U r sick,” Gomez reportedly texted her ex, sending him into a rage. The website also reported that during the heated exchange between the two, the “Believe” singer also allegedly sent Gomez a nude picture of himself. Bieber’s camp has yet to respond to the rumors one way or the other. Then again, his management has a lot of other things to deal with at the moment. Justin Bieber recently got into it with Selena Gomez over the phone, according to unconfirmed reports and screen shots of the alleged text message beef. Radar Online published the images documenting the supposed, bitter texting fight, in which Selena calls her ex “a drug addict” who needs to “go to rehab!” The messages, which Radar “verified” are real but Bieber’s camp says are not, were forwarded by a phone registered to Gomez’s stepfather, Brian Teefey. At least at the beginning, the purported exchange is innocent: “Baby come on. I love you,” Bieber, 19, texted Gomez, inciting backlash from the on-again, off-again girlfriend he’d been camping with just a few weeks before. “I don’t buy that bullshit anymore,” Gomez snapped. “I was honest with you and I gave you a second chance. All my friends were right, You’re such an a–hole.” Bieber then pressed on, but Gomez wasn’t having it. “U r a drug addict,” she responded. “U need help.” At that point, he tried a different approach … “Come on,” Bieber wrote. “Don’t tell me you don’t miss this,” before – allegedly – sending Selena a graphic photo of his erect penis (redacted in slideshow below). So much for snuggling with some Smores. Shooting down reports from yesterday that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez went on a luxury camping trip over the weekend, an insider tells E! News that the singers “have not left town together” in months. Moreover, the source goes one step further and proclaims: ” Selena and Justin are not back together.” Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez: Back Together? The exact opposite kind of chatter sprung up last week after a photo surfaced online of Bieber and Gomez cuddling up and the former saying he loves the way the latter “[looks] at him.” The former couple were also spotted riding Segways around Justin’s neighborhood just a few days before that image went viral. There’s also been talk of Gomez moving in next door to Bieber.
