Ted Danson’s Daughter to Guest Star on CSI

CBS is keeping it all in the family on CSI Season 13 . The network announced this week that Kate Danson will guest star on the April 3 installment of the dramatic hit, joining her father on screen as an attorney. Kate’s Jill McDermott will end up facing off against her dad’s lead character after a corpse found in a forest reserve leads the CSI team to a serial killer’s lair. It’s possible the younger Danson will come on board as a recurring player, but the role is simply a one-time guest spot for now.

New and Nudeworthy on Netflix 10.31.12 [PICS]

Happy Halloween! This week we have only the tastiest of treats and biggest bags of candy from the horror honeys on Netflix Instant. Scare your pants off with the feral full frontal of Pollyanna McIntosh in The Woman (2011), and say nice BOO-bies to Carice van Houten in Intruders (2012). Then have no fear because there are plenty of French funbags in Sheitan (2006) and House of Voices (2004), and there’s a heaping of Hong Kong hoots in Dream Home (2010). Finally, see bumps in the night from Traci Lords in Not of This Earth (1988), and doomed dame danglers in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986). See pics after the jump!

D. McKinney: The Mr. Skin Interview [PICS]

You might think that author D. McKinney is a chain-smoking, kohl-addicted Goth chick who hangs out at Denny’s all night, sipping black coffee and sneering at squares. And maybe, at one point, she was. But then she had the good sense to translate that experience into her debut novel Welcome to Slumberland , about a moody Goth chick whose mundane existence suddenly becomes a lot more exciting when a sexy new neighbor (who might also be a serial killer, but whatever) moves in next door. When we interviewed McKInney, we instead found her to be funny, frank, and, most importantly, willing to discuss the finer points of Kat Dennings ‘ tits. Read Skin Central’s interview with D. McKinney after the jump!

John Cusack Finds His Inner Crime-Fighting Poet in The Raven Trailer

The last time we saw John Cusack onscreen, he was turning back time in a hot tub. Now, Cusack returns to the multiplex to travel much deeper into the past — far beyond embarrassing ’80s ski suits and Rick Springfield singles and into the 1800s, where as Edgar Allan Poe, he helps search for a serial killer who uses Poe’s own gothic stories as inspiration for his murders. Take a look at the first eerie trailer for The Raven below.

Colin Hanks on Lucky, Kickstarting His Tower Records Doc, and Supporting Chet Haze

With his nice guy looks and demeanor, Colin Hanks has played a lot of, well, nice guys over the years. But in Gil Cates, Jr.’s Lucky , in limited release this week, the 33-year-old actor and neophyte documentarian throws that image for a loop as Ben, a meek Midwesterner who wins a $36 million lottery jackpot, marries his dream girl ( Ari Graynor )… and just so happens to be a serial killer.
