Breaking The Bank: DWade’s Divorce To “Psycho” Siohvaughn Could Cost Him $10 Million

Dwade , maybe it was cheaper to keep her. DWade’s Divorce Could Cost $10 Million $10 Million is a big price to pay to be running around with Gabrielle Union. DWade is winning championships though…that’s pocket change. According to Gossip Extra Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade‘s divorce could end up costing him $10 million in legal bills! Two of the dozen or so lawyers in two states involved with Wade’s split from high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches tell Gossip Extra that the past few months in the six-year battle will undoubtedly run the total tab up to that stunning figure! “We were at about $8 million last year, and now we’re definitely at $10 million,” said one of the lawyers, asking not to be named in the story. “He’s paying more for lawyers than what he is paying his wife for the settlement. “It was a complicated case, but it may have become personal.” I’m told exclusively that D Wade has been paying for his and Funches’ attorneys automatically through a special bank account funded partly with a small portion of his Heat salary, and partly with endorsements. “My gut feeling is that he doesn’t even know how much he’s paying (in legal bills),” the source added. Regular ninjas would have just given up and suffered through it just to save a few dollas. Dayum. Continue reading

Lawsuits: Shady Cash Money Records Sued $600k By R&B Old Head Robert Pointdexter Over Bow Wow’s Illegal Sample

Is there anyone in the world that Cash Money hasn’t screwed over? Robert Poindexter Sues Cash Money Records Over Sample In Bow Wow Song According to TMZ reports : Lil Wayne and Birdman’s label Cash Money Records is in the hot seat over allegations it illegally used a sample from a 70s song in one of Bow Wow’s recent tracks. The septuagenarian behind the lawsuit is Robert Poindexter from the 70s band The Persuaders. Poindexter claims Cash Money sampled his band’s song “Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out)” and illegally lifted the tune in Bow Wow’s 2010 track “Still Ballin.” As for “Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out)” — the song was recorded in 1972 and reached the top of the charts … and Poindexter says neither Cash Money nor Bow Wow ever obtained permission to sample it. Just because Poindexter is up in age doesn’t mean he doesn’t want his gwap! Poindexter claims he reached out to Cash Money for an answer, and was redirected to Bow Wow’s attorneys, who then directed him back to Cash Money … which is why Cash Money’s currently in his crosshairs. Poindexter wants $600,000 in punitive damages, plus interest. Cash Money has yet to respond to the suit. We reached out to the label for comment — so far, no word back. Why can’t these gold-grillin’, lean-sippin’ azz ninja ever do square business? Hopefully Baby and Wayne won’t make Bow Wow pay the settlement out of his own pocket…because he ain’t got it Image via Derick G

McDonald’s Settles Lawsuit Over Islamic Diet, False Advertising

McDonald’s and one of its franchisees agreed to pay $700,000 after being sued for falsely advertising food as being prepared according to Islamic dietary law. McDonald’s and Finley’s Management Co. settled with Dearborn Heights, Mich., resident Ahmed Ahmed, a Detroit health clinic, and the Arab American National Museum. Ahmed’s attorney, Kassem Dakhlallah, sayd he’s “thrilled” with the deal; McDonald’s and Finley’s deny any liability but say the settlement is in their best interests. The lawsuit alleged that Ahmed bought a chicken sandwich at a Dearborn McDonald’s but found it wasn’t halal – i.e. did not meet Islamic food preparation requirements. Islam forbids the consumption of pork, and God’s name must be invoked before any animal providing meat for human consumption is slaughtered. Dakhlallah said only two U.S. McDonald’s feature halal products and recipes ; both in Dearborn, which has one of the nation’s largest Arab and Muslim communities. The locations advertise halal Chicken Selects, McNuggets and McChicken sandwiches, and must secure those products from an approved halal provider. He said there was no evidence of problems on the production side, but alleges that one Dearborn location sold non-halal products when it ran out of halal. Dakhlallah was approached by Ahmed, and they conducted an investigation; a lengthy legal back-and-forth ultimately resulted in the $700K settlement.

Miley Cyrus, Sex Doll Go for Spin

It’s official and sort of refreshing: Miley Cyrus truly doesn’t care at this point. The singer has received a bit of flak over recent weeks for a few lewd images, from grabbing a stripper’s butt during a birthday celebration to grabbing her own crotch during a rendition of Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell.’ She even called out Taylor Swift via Twitter. But the young singer is continuing to embrace this risque image, posting a photo to Twitter over the weekend of a Christmas gift she recently received: “Does this count for the carpool lane?” Cyrus asked as a caption to the image of herself and a blow-up doll riding shotgun. We’re pretty sure the answer is no. But we’re also pretty sure this rebellious side of Miley is starting to grow on us.

Ne-Yo’s former maybe baby mama is pisssssssed after the singer went on VH1’s Behind the Music and discussed their relationship from a few years ago. Jesseca White has hired Gloria Allred as a result. Why? Well, you see, Ne-Yo used to date Jesseca White. During their time together, Jesseca had a baby which Ne-Yo initially thought was his … not the case.
