According to the Chicago Sun-Times , prosecutors described the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer as “an extreme danger to the community, especially to minor girls” during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Chicago. The prosecutors also made sure to point out the extreme risk of Kelly obstructing justice. Part of the new charges he was hit with include allegations of paying off the families of accusers so they wouldn’t cooperate with the authorities . Kelly’s lawyer went with the there’s no way his client can flee because he’s broke play. “Unlike his most famous song — ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ — Mr. Kelly doesn’t like to fly,” Greenberg reportedly said. Well, the judge wasn’t having it. Kelly is currently being held in Chicago’s downtown Metropolitan Correctional Center. Right now, R. Kelly is facing 18 charges in Brooklyn and Chicago for various alleged crimes involving minors, including 10 victims. R. Kelly was acquitted of child pornography in 2008.

I n November of last year, a man named Masin Elijè made some extreme allegations against NBA star Dwight Howard . He claimed they were boyfriends, that Howard was into transgender sex parties and that Howard and his pastor conspired to kill him because he refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Elijè filed a lawsuit and Howard countersued, claiming everything Elijè, whose real name is is Maurice Singletary, was lying. It ended up being a situation that was—it went viral. People were talking about it, and it upset me because I didn’t even know who the person was. I saw all the hate, the pure hate, from people that I’ve never met before, just pile up everywhere I went.” He continued, “I think that liberated me. Because I saw how a lot of people would feel, whether they’re gay or they’re straight. Whether they have issues. People are afraid to be who they are. They’re afraid to just step out and be. Because they’re afraid of what other people might say or think about them. That situation made me realize you’re not like this, but just be you, be free.” Howard added, “I’m not gay.” But he explained the situation gave him empathy, “It’s a lot of people who are and they have to hide, and there’s people who have mental issues and they have to hide. There’s people who have different problems in life and they have to hide. As it enters its eighth season, Vanderpump Rules is beginning to reach the point where most reality shows begin to show signs of age. Producers have tried to combat this phenomenon by experimenting with new cast members, but thus far, the new additions haven’t fared well — and now, it seems another one has officially bitten the dust. According to a new report from Radar Online, SUR hostess Billie Lee has decided to leave her station after just two seasons on VPR. An insider tells Radar that Billie “quit filming for the upcoming season 8″ this week. Since the show is currently filming, we can assume this was an abrupt decision. And the insider’s comments seem to confirm that Lee quit as a result of hostility on set. “Billie Lee has had a really hard time with the disrespect and negative thoughts overall from the show and from certain co-stars,” the source explains. “She is sick of the bullies and the backlash that she’s gotten on social media.” The insider adds that Lee hopes this will be the beginning of a new stage in her career, adding: “She is ready to do her own thing now, and is trying to pitch her own show. She doesn’t need any of that drama anymore.” Billie represented an attempt to bring a little diversity to the mayo-white series as the show’s first transgender cast member. But she clashed with co-stars from the very start, most notably Katie Maloney and Lala Kent. While the Vanderpump cast may not have conducted themselves with the utmost decorum in their dealings with Billie Lee, they’re pretty much a-holes to everyone, including each other, and they have a pretty good track record with regard to the LGBTQ community (albeit not in terms of representation). All of this is to say it seems like a leap to chalk the tension with Billie up to transphobia, which is what many viewers are currently doing on social media. It’s worth noting that the reason Billie fit with the cast so well at the beginning is that she has quite a lengthy track record of unstable behavior herself. Highlights include lashing out at Stassi Schroeder when Schroeder went public with allegations of sexual misconduct against Jeremy Madix and accusing her co-workers of bigotry for failing to personally invite her to a party. “When yo (sic) co-workers don’t include the only trans girl in GIRLS night at your own job! On the night you work! #rudeAF #TransIsBeautiful,” But if it’s the night you work … why would they need to invite you to a party at your place of employment? Anyway, Billie Lee joins Vail Bloom , Whoever Scheana Is F–king This Season, and James Kennedy on the list of failed new additions to the Vanderpump cast. We know James is still on the show, but we’re pretty sure he’s the only one who considers that a good thing. Jokes aside, we wish Billie Lee all the best in her future endeavors — although it sounds like she’s always got a job waiting for her at SUR should she change her mind. “Lisa has encouraged Billie to stay and to keep growing.
