Of all the things Game of Thrones has accomplished over its legendary run, a viewer could reasonably argue that the most impressive has been the rehabilitation of Jaime Lannister. This was someone who had sex with his sister and who pushed a little boy out a window on the very first episode of the HBO drama. Fast forward all this time, however, and Jaime is one of the most likable characters on the series. He's a fan favorite who has learned the error of his ways to such an extent that he arrived in King's Landing on the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere to warn the Starks that his sister was about to betray them. But here's the thing: That kid he pushed out the window? His name is Bran, and he's very much alive. And that king he slayed in order to earn his nickname? His daughter is now a queen, with two dragons at her disposal and her sights set on the Iron Throne. So we're not sure what sort of welcome Jaime hoped to receive upon his arrival at Winterfell — but the preview featured here makes it clear that it won't be a positive one. In this one-minute teaser, we see Daenerys holding court in Winterfell's great hall, while Jaime stands before her, basically on trial. She recalls her older brother, Viserys Targaryen, telling her about how he dreamed of punishing Jaime for murdering their father, the Mad King Aerys. The preview also depicts Sansa and Bran watching Dany's' deposition of Jaime, likely eager for their own retribution. Meanwhile, Tyrion just skulking around, feeling conflicted about his brother, who has become a political enemy and who murdered the father of his boss… … but who remains his brother nevertheless. Will we see a major death on Episode 2? Will Jon tell Dany that pesky little tidbit about how she's really his aunt? And will the Night King finally attack? The iconic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris is on fire as we speak. Officials told ABC that “everything is burning, nothing will remain from the frame” as the fire took down cathedral’s spire. The roof also collapsed as workers scrambled to salvage artwork stored and artifacts inside the cathedral erected in 1260 AD. ABC News reports that Paris Mayor Anne Hildago and firefighters warned people to stay away from the area. There have been no confirmed deaths or injuries. Officials believe the fire may be connected to a recent $6 million restoration of the church, officials said. Last week, the statues of the apostles were removed for restoration. The Blast obtained some statements from Wintrust Bank showing that they notified Kelly’s landlord that his account with them is currently negative thirteen dollars. Kelly also had two Bank of America accounts that held 44,595.58 and $110,056.64 respectively for a grand total of $154,527.22. Of that amount, all but $625 was taken by Robert’s ex-landlord to pay his embarrassing amount of back rent. This landlord is playing NO games. They have subpoenaed Sony Music, ASCAP, and several other banks where R. Kelly has money stored in order to get the bread they’re owed. Robert isn’t going to have a dime to his name by the time he (hopefully) goes to prison. Blessed be!
