Kensington Palace spends an awful amount of time overseeing negative comments directed towards Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. The amount of social media backlash is honestly tiring. Can we all embrace the idea that the two royal sisters-in-law may not actually hate each other? A source tells Hello! magazine that within recent months the online bullying has greatly increased, ranging from pitting Meghan and Kate against each other to violent threats. “The palace has always monitored comments, but it’s a hugely time-consuming thing,” the insider says. “They can block certain words but some of it is quite serious.” Last year there were hundreds of thousands of comments, two or three which were violent threats. According to the source, “you can delete and report and block people and the police have options around particular people.” But, it is up to the palace to manage every comment coming in, because that is the only way to control the situation and protect the Duchesses. A lot of hours are being spent reviewing the old material and cleaning up comments under posts. Meghan deleted all of her social media accounts prior to her marriage with Prince Harry and Kate has never had any personal pages to begin with. So, you may be wondering how the two receive such backlash when they are both absent from the social media world? However, Kensington Palace shares all the up-to-date news about the royal family, along with magazine’s social media sites. And that is where we see the trolls’ surface. Trolls, in this case is referring to Meghan supporters vs. Kate supporters. The source tells Hello! that some of the worst stuff is between Meghan fans and Kate fans arguing over “who looks more appropriate.” Which then, of course, escalates to personal attacks. And while the comments and arguing continue on, the source asks, “what are the consequences of this?” In response, The Hello! magazine has launched the #HelloToKindness campaign to combat negative online behavior. The campaign is also intended to make the trolls think twice before posting obstructive comments. Social media should be a positive and uplifting space! Thanks to the campaign, hopefully it’ll give a ‘times up’ message to all the body shamers, name callers and well, the real peasants of the world. Emily Nash, a royal reporter at Hello! tells CNN that she finds it all to be particularly sexist. “You have people comparing them in a way that doesn’t really happen with men – ‘she’s walking funny, or her heels are too high, or her legs are too skinny'” Once Meghan and Harry began their relationship back in 2016, the Prince confirmed their relationship by a rare public statement, slamming the sexist and racist comments that had been targeted at his new girlfriend. The statement read: “His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of this has been very public… It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game.’ He strongly disagrees. This is not a game – it is her life and his.” We can only hope the #HelloToKindness movement will make a true change throughout society and end the bullying that the royals do not deserve. Besides, if we have learned anything from the Queen herself, it is that one can never own too many hats and that love can endure! Source: Edwin Remsberg / Getty Canadian Man To Be Charge For Illegally Carrying Leeches Into Toronto A man who attempted to bring around 5,000 live leeches into Canada will appear before a court in Toronto next month. according to Daily Mail, he’s facing some serious charges. No personal details have been released about the man, but he was found with the live contraband at Toronto Pearson International Airport on October 17 last year. A police dog helped alert authorities that something was amiss when the Canadian man came through the airport following a trip to Russia , as first reported by National Geographic . The leeches were discovered in hundreds of containers stored in the man’s luggage. the unnamed man is due to appear in court in Toronto on February 15 charged with illegally importing an internationally regulated species without required permits. He won’t be charged with smuggling as there is no evidence he was deliberately hiding the leeches. When questioned, the man said he was transporting them for personal use and ‘that their wastewater would enrich his orchids.’ However, investigators are convinced he might have been trying to sell the foreign crawlers. They can sell for around $10 each. The things people do for money. Yuck!

Nelly filed court docs earlier this past week seeking for a Missouri sexual assault lawsuit to be dismissed stating, “Without first petitioning the Court to do so, Plaintiff filed her complaint anonymously, standing behind that anonymity as she makes serious allegations that the Complaint makes clear that she is aware will receive public attention.” The rapper claims the “Jane Doe” has previously pulled this stunt in the past, and he believes the woman should not be allowed to hide from public scrutiny. In November, “Jane Doe” reportedly sued Nelly for what she claimed to be sexual assault following a 2017 concert overseas. The woman claims after meeting Nelly backstage, he exposed himself and began masturbating in front of her before allegedly forcing his erect penis inside her mouth. Jane Doe says she didn’t go to the police originally because she felt no one would believe her. But would later give her statement after the reached out to her personally. Jane Doe is also suing Nelly’s girlfriend, Shantel Jackson. The lawsuit alleges defamation because of comments she made on social media
