Today is officially Administrative Professionals’ Day , so give your favorite office administrator a hug today (or not, depending on your company’s sexual harassment policy). This year’s theme, according to their website, is “admins, the pulse of the office,” so if you’re nostalgic for the days when the lady at the front desk was called a “secretary,” not an “office administrator” (or if you just saw it on Mad Men and thought it sounded cool), then get your pulse pumping with our Hottest Office Administratives playlist. Not only do these nasty note-takers take dictation, they also take…well, you know. Cuba Gooding wildin’ out with white women, surprise surprise… According to a Jezebel story: What’s Cuba Gooding Jr. up to these days? Well, there’s Red Tails — and, according to three women in New Mexico, a whole lot of groping. The women say he harassed all of them at Maloney’s Tavern in Albuquerque — and they have pictures. Sara (all the women I talked to asked that their last names not be used) told me: At about midnight on March 1st, Cuba Gooding Jr. waltzed into the bar we were at and proceeded to sexually harass a number of the [women there] and assault (punch) a [man] for attempting to take a picture of Cuba receiving a lap dance. The sexual harassment occurred when women would be taking pictures with him; he would grab butt cheeks during the picture taking and when women reacted negatively to that, he would proceed to either touch women’s breasts or tell them that he “loved them.” He told me that he loved me because his wife’s name is also Sara. Classy. Her friend Meagan told me that Gooding grabbed her a$$ (ed.), and confirmed that he tried to grab Sara’s chest. She also said that after leaving the area, they ran into him again on the dance floor, where he grabbed Meagan’s breast and pinched her nipple. She said he was repeatedly bothering and harassing women even after they told him to stop. A third woman, Molly, says, Cuba Gooding Jr. came into Maloney’s Pub in Albuquerque on March 1st, and the bar was fairly crowded at the time. No one seemed to notice or realize who he was when he first entered, and he inappropriately touched [Sara] and she immediately dismissed him. Someone then recognized him and swarms of people started crowding around him to take pictures. Sara and I took a picture with him, and he attempted to grab her breasts in the process. Later on the night, he came up to me, grabbed my face, and kissed my cheek. He asked where I was staying and told me I would be staying with him tonight, making lewd comments about his plans to sleep with me that night. He mentioned that he his happily married with three kids, but “not tonight.” He also said I was “probably like 12″ years old (I am actually 23 years old). I also witnessed him inappropriately touching a friend of mine, [Meagan], which caused her to be extremely upset. Another woman in the bar gave him a lap dance and when a man tried to take a picture, Gooding grabbed the phone, threatening to “break it in half,” and followed him to the bathroom, where he apparently punched him. Hey Cuba, remember that OTHER white lady that you were standing next to in front of all those people that day? Yeah, her. SHE’S YOUR WIFE! YOU’RE MARRIED LIKE A MUHFUGGA MAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!? Hit the flippy to see the drunken pictures of sorry-azz Cuba attempting to get his freak on! Images via WENN/Jezebel/Facebook
Ah, The Bachelor’s traditional Women Tell All special . Courtney Robertson certainly didn’t enjoy it, and neither did The Bachelor himself, Ben Flajnik. That’s putting it mildly, based on his body language … and now his words. As he describes in his weekly blog, which has noticeably regressed in its enthusiasm and zest for life in recent installments (wonder why), he writes : On the WTA reunion : “At the risk of sounding harsh, I can’t say I was looking forward to seeing the women I had sent home over the past few weeks.” “I was surprised to see so many of the women still going at one another … I’d think that after a few months of not being around each other they would start to bond over the experience they had all just shared. I was wrong again.” On all the crap Blakeley Shea took : “I just want to say again, I respect the fact that she stood on her own and focused on our relationship and didn’t let the women affect her as much as most people would have thought.” On crazy, possibly coked-up Samantha : “I wish I could say something nice but honestly, I think you can all see why she went home earlier than expected based on the way she spoke to the women. I’ll leave it at that.” On Shawntel Newton : “Poor Shawntel. I still admire the fact that she followed her heart and came back to see me. The women were so cruel to her.” On Nicki Sterling and Kacie Boguskie : “I have nothing but respect for these two women and wish nothing for the best for them for the rest of their lives.” “It still breaks my heart to watch these women go through the pain I caused them by ending our relationships. I feel so lucky to have gotten to date them.” “They are women of a high caliber and I truly appreciate the honesty and vulnerability they showed me throughout our time together. Ugh. Still tough.” On Courtney Robertson : “I don’t think I even know where to begin.” “Believe me, I appreciate what she did, coming on Women Tell All and apologizing for her actions and it seemed genuine to me. I’m glad there was some sort of resolution with the women because it needed to happen.” “To see an emotional side of this woman was a good thing and it makes her feel like she is human, and a softer, sweeter side is shown … It’s a side that I saw throughout the journey that no one else did. I guess that’s it for now.” “One more week until the show is over and my time as The Bachelor is up. What a ride.” Spoken like a man who’s loved every minute of the experience.
After months of speculation, Apple unveiled “the new iPad” this morning. Those quotation marks are properly used. That’s its name. Or at least what it was called by CEO and Steve Jobs successor Tim Cook in San Francisco, Calif. Many sites (THG among them) have been referring to it as the iPad 3, iPad HD, or some iteration of that name. But apparently it’s just the new iPad. The changes may disappoint Apple fanatics hoping for a radically redesigned gadget. But given the iPad’s huge success, a few upgraded features go a long way. The iPad’s rank as the world’s top tablet and Apple’s status as the world’s most valuable company shouldn’t be threatened anytime soon, in other words. Some of the new iPad features announced by Tim Cook and other company execs at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts this morning include … High-Resolution Retina Display More Powerful Processor Updated iOS 5.1 Software Improved Camera With 1080p Video HD Speedy 4G Internet Connection Improved Battery Life, Size, and Weight Pricing and Release Date ($499-829; March 16) The Old iPad 2 Still Being Available (for $399)
Attorneys for Paula Deen said that the former worker suing for sexual harassment and being subjected to a hostile work environment is making false allegations. Deen’s camp says Lisa Jackson only made the claims after rebuffing attempts to resolve the matter amicably, and after the chef refused to pay her to keep quiet. The lawsuit, filed Monday, “makes false allegations against Paula Deen and they will be proven false in court,” said a statement from the firm representing Deen. The law firm said the suit was filed in a local court after the Southern cooking star and Type 2 diabetic refused to pay the woman to “address false claims.” Attorneys for Jackson, a former general manager at the restaurant, didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment regarding Deen’s rebuttal. Jackson said her doctor encouraged her to quit managing Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House in Savannah, Ga., due to panic attacks and other stress. The restaurant is owned by Paula Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson, who is white, said in the lawsuit that Hiers routinely made inappropriate sexual remarks and that she heard Heirs and Deen using racial slurs . The woman also said in court papers that she saw Hiers violently shake a black employee and that he “fostered a workplace environment of intimidation.” Deen’s law firm said that she had investigated Jackson’s claims and had unsuccessfully attempted to reach out and address them with her. “She has made baseless, inflammatory allegations, threatening to go to the press and ruin Paula Deen’s reputation,” the firm’s statement said. After she allegedly demanded a large cash payout, “we refused to bow to that kind of pressure and refused to pay money to address false claims.” Jackson’s lawsuit seeks unspecified damages. Say it ain’t so Aunty Paula! An explosive new lawsuit accuses celebrity chef, Paula Deen and her brother, of using the N word and of sexual harassment, infliction of emotional distress and assault, RadarOnline is reporting: The lawsuit is on behalf of a past employee of Paula Deen Enterprises, Lisa Jackson and documents a shocking pattern of alleged racism and sexism displayed by both Deen and her brother, Bubba Hiers. In one example, Jackson states that she was appointed by Deen to handle the catering and staff for Bubba’s wedding in 2007, and she asked Deen what the servers should wear: “Well what I would really like is a bunch of little n***ers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around,” Jackson alleges Deen told her. “Now, that would be a true Southern wedding wouldn’t it? But we can’t do that because the media would be on me about that.” Another alleged racist incident listed in the lawsuit: “In the presence of Ms. Jackson and Uncle Bubba’s restaurant manager and a vendor, Bubba Hiers stated they should send President Obama to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico so he could n***er-rig it.” The documents state that Jackson became the General Manager of Bubba’s Oyster and Seafood House in Savannah, Georgia, which is co-owned by Deen and Bubba, after the previous GM, who was male, was fired for having sexual relations with the servers. Deen allegedly said in a meeting in which Jackson was present, “If you think I have worked this hard to lose everything because of a piece of p**y, you better think again, and now I’m going to do something I have never done I am going to put a woman in a man’s job.” Jackson was given six months to turn the restaurant from a failure into a success and she did so, by doubling the profits of the restaurant, but she alleges she was sexually harassed by Deen’s brother, who, amongst other accusations, routinely viewed adult videos on a computer in a small office he shared with Jackson. “Bubba Hiers is a frequent customer of adult web sites and would download and view such sites at work. In the small office he shared with Jackson, it was impossible for her to avoid the vulgarity,” the lawsuit states. Hiers also asked Jackson to “bring pictures of herself when she was young for him to view,” and that he would like to replace the staff with “Hooters girls,” the lawsuit alleges. After five years of working at the restaurant, Jackson left in 2010 because, she alleges, management did nothing about her complaints of sexual harassment and other complaints she had. These are some explosive allegations Paula is going to have to contend with. If it comes to light that she is indeed a racist will you support her? More On Bossip! Presidential hopeful Herman Cain, already facing allegations of sexual harassment from four women, was caught joking about Anita Hill during a campaign stop this week. A college professor, Hill infamously became the poster woman for such claims when she made them 20 years ago about Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas. A Fox News camera caught Cain laughing about Hill during a campaign visit to Kalamazoo, Mich., Thursday, when a supporter brought up the professor’s name. “You hear the latest news today? Anita Hill is going to come …” a man told Cain. “Is she going to endorse me?” Cain joked, as he and the crowd laughed heartily … Herman Cain Anita Hill Joke Herman Cain insisted later that he wasn’t trying to insult Hill. “We walked into this room and … one of my supporters said, ‘Anita Hill was trying to contact you’ and my response was, ‘Is she going to endorse me?'” he said. “He said it in a humorous way. I gave a humorous response.” The Republican continues to fend off allegations that he sexually harassed four women when he was head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. Karen Kraushaar allegedly received a settlement to leave the group along with another woman. Sharon Bialek alleges Cain tried to grope her at a later date. Joking about Hill, while essentially harmless, is not likely to help Cain, who some say has been less than forthcoming, shake the story that has dogged him for weeks. How will the sexual harassment allegations impact Cain?

Karen Kraushaar was sexually harassed by Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain in the 1990s and left her job because of it, she said yesterday. The became the second woman to come forward and put a name and face behind accusations that Cain sexually harassed her when she worked for him. Karen Kraushaar, now a spokeswoman for the Inspector General’s Office in the U.S Treasury Department and a former journalist, is pictured below: Kraushaar was one of the two women who received a financial settlement of about $45,000 after accusing Cain of sexual harassment in the 1990s. She worked at the National Restaurant Association while Cain headed the trade group. Sharon Bialek , who went public earlier, offered many more details. “She is a professional who had to leave her job because of Herman Cain. It is quite simple,” a former National Restaurant Association employee said of Kraushaar. The latest Herman Cain accuser told the N.Y. Times she hoped she and other accusers might hold a joint press conference “where all of the women would be together with our attorneys and all of this evidence would be considered together.” “These allegations can be considered together as a body of evidence.” Cain said Kraushaar’s allegations were the only ones he remembered, but that they – like the rest of the salacious claims made against him – are not credible. Will sexual harassment allegations derail the Cain Train?
