CNN Conducts Sympathetic Interview of Another Homosexual Teen Activist

On Tuesday’s Newsroom, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin brought on another teenaged homosexual activist for a sympathetic interview to help promote their upcoming one-sided documentary , “Gary and Tony Have a Baby.” Baldwin prompted Constance McMillen to give advice to ” other teens who are suffering in silence .” The anchor also didn’t press McMillen on how she might have inconvenienced her classmates. Baldwin, who was substituting for Kyra Phillips, brought on McMillen just after bottom of the 10 am Eastern hour. The CNN anchor trumpeted how the Mississippi teen was meeting with President Obama later in the day and how she was going to be grand martial for New York’s annual homosexual prade, and first asked, “Would you trade that all in if you could have gone to the regular prom with the rest of your classmates?” After McMillen gave her initial answer, Baldwin continued by mentioning how a U.S. District Court ruled that Constance McMillen’s high school violated her rights when they cancelled their prom, but omitted that it didn’t force the school to reinstate the dance : “Now, we know that the court eventually ruled – they said, absolutely, that the school violated your constitutional rights. And I want you to explain, though, what happened, because you transferred schools, right, late in your senior year? Why did do you that?” Later in the interview, the anchor sympathized with the homosexual teen: “So you transferred schools, and I can only imagine- it’s the end of your senior year, where you can’t walk with the rest of your classmates, right? Maybe you wouldn’t have wanted to. But I understand that at graduation day, normally a happy day for a lot of us- it was pretty tearful for you. Why was that? ” Baldwin didn’t once mention how the teen’s former high school classmates might have been affected by her actions. A slanted CNN.com article from earlier on Tuesday about how McMillen and fellow homosexual teen Ceara Sturgis (whom Soledad O’Brien sympathized with during a June 15 report ) have found “support in each other” hinted at the classmates sentiment: “McMillen says despite the difficult times, she wants to return to Itawamba and begin studies at the local junior college. She wants to be near her high school girlfriend. She says it won’t be easy. ‘ My best friend — we had been friends for like seven years — has not spoken with me since the day they canceled prom ,’ she says.” The anchor closed out the interview by asking McMillen to give advice to other homosexual high school students: “Before I let you go, for people who are watching and watched your story the past few months, what message- what have you taken away from this, and what message might you have for- maybe, some other teens who are suffering in silence? ” CNN has given a full-court press to their upcoming “Gary and Tony” documentary by airing several reports which helped further homosexual activists’ agenda. Besides O’Brien’s June 15 report, the network aired a gushing two-part report on the two “powerhouse” lawyers who are leading the effort against California’s Proposition 8, and conducted two softball interviews of the two subjects of O’Brien’s documentary on Sunday and Monday. The full transcript of Brooke Baldwin’s interview of Constance McMillen from Tuesday’s Newsroom: BALDWIN: Schoolwork, prom, graduation- you know, it’s the stuff most high school seniors think about, but 18-year-old Constance McMillan will be talking about it- oh, with- oh, the president of the United States. Why? Well, she sparked that national firestorm when she tried to take her girlfriend to prom, prompting her school to cancel the dance. She is joining us live this morning from Washington, and Constance, good morning to you. Listen, I appreciate you taking a little time and talking to me before your big night with the President. Good morning. CONSTANCE MCMILLEN: Good morning. BALDWIN: Let me first ask you, when you look at everything that’s happened since the story broke- it really broke- nationwide, you are meeting with the President. You’re going to be a grand marshal of the New York gay pride parade coming up. But would you trade that all in if you could have gone to the regular prom with the rest of your classmates? MCMILLEN: No, because if I had gone to the regular prom with the rest of my classmates, then I would not have been able to bring my girlfriend, and I wouldn’t have been able to be myself. So- and that was the whole point. Like, I wasn’t going to be able to go if I wasn’t going to be able to be myself. BALDWIN: Now, we know that the court eventually ruled – they said, absolutely, that the school violated your constitutional rights. And I want you to explain, though, what happened, because you transferred schools, right, late in your senior year? Why did do you that? MCMILLEN: Well, I started- like, doing my work from home because it was- like, it was really hard for me to go to that school because of how the people were treating me. It was just really hard for me to finish school there. So I- BALDWIN: What were they doing? What were they saying to you? MCMILLEN: I mean, it was- like, it was hostile all the time. There were rumors flying around about me. Every single day, I heard a new rumor and- like, it was just- it was really, really hard to concentrate in an environment where everybody ‘s like- being really mean. (laughs) So, I decided to do my work from home, but it got really hard because some of the work that I had to do, I couldn’t do if I wasn’t in the class. BALDWIN: Right. MCMILLEN: So that’s why I transferred schools. BALDWIN: So you transferred schools, and I can only imagine- it’s the end of your senior year, where you can’t walk with the rest of your classmates, right? Maybe you wouldn’t have wanted to. But I understand that at graduation day, normally a happy day for a lot of us- it was pretty tearful for you. Why was that? MCMILLEN: Well, it was like- I mean, I really didn’t- I didn’t want to walk, but I did for my parents. But it was really hard because- like, after everything I’ve been through- like, it was just reminding me, really, that a lot of the people that I used to have that were good friends- like, I don’t have those friends anymore and- I mean, I was- I didn’t know most- I mean, the classmates- the school was wonderful. But- like, I didn’t know a lot of the people there- BALDWIN: Right. MCMILLEN: And so, I was just kind of standing there. BALDWIN: Right. MCMILLEN: It was just- it was really hard because it wasn’t- BALDWIN: Constance- go ahead- finish your thought. MCMILLEN: It wasn’t how I pictured graduation, so it was just- like, a little hard. (laughs) BALDWIN: Well, I understand you’re going on to college. Before I let you go, for people who are watching and watched your story the past few months, what message- what have you taken away from this, and what message might you have for- maybe, some other teens who are suffering in silence? MCMILLEN: I’ve learned through all of this how important it is to be an activist and how important it is to- like, stand up for yourself, because that was never my intention to start with. But- like now that I’ve been around and met all these people, I’ve learned how important it is. I’ve heard so many horror stories- so many people that go through just terrible things just because they’re gay. And- you know, if you’re going through something like that, I think you should stand up for yourself because- like, it was hard for me. I’m not going to say it wasn’t hard because it was. But I went through it so that nobody else would have to go through it, and I think that if you can do something like that and change it for a lot of other people, even though it’s hard on you, I think you should do that. BALDWIN: Constance McMillen, thank you, ma’am, for sharing your story with us this morning. Hey, good luck with the President tonight. It’s a pretty nice house he’s got. MCMILLEN: Yeah. BALDWIN: And thanks for sharing your story. Good luck with college. MCMILLEN: All right.

HuffPo Gives Catholic-Insulting Lady Gaga Music Video a ‘Thumbs Up’

Pop music sensation Lady Gaga recently released a music video for her popular song, “Alejandro,” but the music video was so controversial that it was denounced as being blasphemy. Despite the video’s clear inappropriate sexual content and profane misuse of Catholic religious symbols, the liberal blogspot Huffington Post joined with the rest of the media in praising the video. Author Michele Somerville wrote in her June 14 article, “ Holy Gaga! A Catholic’s Defense of ‘Alejandro ’” that she, “gives ‘Alejandro’ a thumbs ups. It’s pop culture tour de force.” According to Somerville, “the only sin” she found with the video is that it is a, “possible transgressions against Madonna.” In the music video Lady Gaga swallows a rosary while dressed as a nun, stimulates intercourse, and features half-naked men dancing in high heels. Catholic League president Bill Donohue denounced the video . “Lady Gaga is playing Madonna copy cat, squirming around half-naked with half-naked guys, abusing Catholic symbols — they’re always Catholic symbols — while bleating out ‘Alejandro’ enough times to induce vomit,” Donohue explained. “That she is confused is an understatement. In any event, we hope she finds her way back home.” Somerville, however, gushed about the video. She explained that she’s a fan of Lady Gaga and she even showed the video to her three children because she “knew they would soon see it.” Somerville compared Lady Gaga to Madonna and explained that Madonna’s once controversial music video for “Like a Virgin” created a “religious outcry” as well. But then she took it a step further and wrote that Michelangelo’s The Last Judgement was once labeled “obscene.” She explained, “Many of the same Catholics who would see putting pants on Michelangelo’s angels as anathema were quick to chastise Madonna for performing on a giant cross.” Somerville continued attempting to compare Michelangelo with Lady Gaga.  She wrote, “It’s safe to assume that a naked penis in church was as offensive to many Catholics 500 years ago as Lady Gaga deep-throating all five decades of the rosary is today. We have no idea what Jesus would think of ‘Alejandro’…” He probably wouldn’t think too much of someone using a God-given talent to mock some of His most devout followers and their beliefs. Somerville, however, mused, “Is it not possible that God likes a laugh?”

Adam Lambert’s ‘If I Had You’ Video Frolics In Politics

New video aims to celebrate how dancing and partying bring everyone together. By James Montgomery Adam Lambert on the set of his “If I Had You” video Photo: Eric Ford/On Location News A few months ago — back when he was still the reigning “American Idol” runner-up — Adam Lambert told MTV News about the meaning of his latest single, “If I Had You,” the video for which has just premiered on VH1.com . “Basically, what it’s saying is no matter what color your skin is, no matter what religion you are, no matter what your sexuality is … we can all party together,” he said. “And all this other stuff — money, success, fortune, fashion, glam — it’s all great, but it doesn’t mean anything if you’re not connecting.” Clearly, Lambert was thinking big with the song, which meant that it needed an equally epic video. Early sneak peeks had him rocking spiked shoulder pads and gallivanting through a forest, and Lambert himself promised that things would get “kind of psychedelic.” And on Monday (June 14), we finally got to see the finished project, an over-the-top affair that’s, yes, kind of psychedelic and even a tad bit political. Though mostly, it’s just a pretty awesome Euro-pop video. The clip opens with Lambert — in a leather duster coat and gloriously braided pseudo-rattail — storming his way down a forest path. Whether he and director Bryan Barber intended it to or not, the scene recalls Men Without Hats’ classic video for “The Safety Dance” (all that’s missing is the lute-playing little person). From there, Lambert discoverers a clearing in the forest, one packed with party people — of all races, colors, creeds and proclivities, naturally — who are all in the midst of a totally excellent celebration. (Most of said party people are actually Lambert’s friends, from his days performing with L.A.’s “Zodiac Show.”) Overtaken, Lambert has no choice but to join in on the fun, and from there, things get psychedelic, all brightly blurring colors and whooshing chemtrails and, uh, Allison Iraheta. And the message is pretty clear (if not a tad bit idealistic): Humanity can, in fact, put their differences aside and just dance. Perhaps that’s the way to solve all of our global conflicts. Who’s to say Lambert’s not right? Like all great pop stars, he’s not afraid to dream. Share your reviews and interpretations of Adam Lambert’s “If I Had You” video in the comments. ABC News Featured Video: ‘Teens Hail Gay Prom King and Queen’

ABCNews.com on Saturday prominently featured a video about two gay students that won king and queen at their high school’s prom. “Hudson High, typical school with a typical senior prom, but not your every day prom king and queen,” began an unidentified reporter. “Meet Charlie Ferrusi and Tim Howard, class of 2010 prom royalty.” As the piece continued, an unidentified man said, “These are the kids that Dr. Martin Luther King was talking about. They don’t see each other as black and white or gay and straight.” The reporter let viewers know, “Charlie and Tim won in a landslide vote. The reaction has been positive even among parents” (video follows with commentary, h/t NBer SkipperMLM):   For those looking for more on this subject, “Related Links” were provided to videos about: a gay student winning prom queen in Hollywood, California; a Catholic church in Hingham, Massachusetts, not accepting a student because his parents were lesbians, and; plans for a gay and lesbian high school in Chicago falling threw. For the record, the Associated Press also found this story newsworthy.

WaPo Says World Cup’s ‘Most Essential Accessory’ Is Condoms

Thursday’s Washington Post Express tabloid carried the headline “Health Activists Eye World Cup.” When the world “health” breaks in before “activist,” sadly, you can often define that as a sly euphemism you could replace more accurately with “sex.” Post reporter Liz Clarke offered an interesting definition of the tournament’s most essential accessory, which isn’t cleats or Gatorade or even sunscreen:  Slathered in face paint, toting samba drums and waving national flags, the world’s most ardent soccer fans are streaming into South Africa for the 2010 World Cup. And they’re being met by a host of reminders not to forget the tournament’s most essential accessory: a condom. She forwarded how AIDS activists pressured FIFA, the World Cup organizers, of being “half-hearted” in condom promotion, and noted Cape Town hoteliers are offering condoms with the slogan “Play It Safe in Cape Town.” Then Clarke offered an  update. FIFA bowed to the sexual entitlement mentality: free condoms have now been offered in eight-packs for women (do they each have a day of the week inscribed?) Cases of condoms (bundled in packets of eight) were prominently displayed and free for the taking in the women’s restrooms at Soccer Stadium for Friday’s World Cup stadium, evidence of FIFA’s awareness of and commitment to the need to confront the epidemic of HIV/AIDS in the host nation. The “Choice” brand condoms were provided by South Africa’s Department of Health, and the packaging included a toll-free number for the AIDS Hotline, as well as a six-panel illustration of proper use and disposal. Lady Gaga’s Latest Bullshit of the Day

Lady Gaga is annoying as fuck. I’ve ripped into her so much that it’s almost pointless at this point. She just gets bigger and bigger cuz gay people are supportive….Her artistic vision is bullshit, her career is bullshit, her story is bullshit. She was created by the label to cater to the growing gay population, partially because she looked like a drag queen, gender bender, but also because she grew up with no friends, trying hard to get noticed, cuz with a face like that, you know there was a lot of nights spent crying in bed saying to herself “I’ll show them”….. She is disgusting, she is hideous, she should be done in a minute, cuz I figure we can just watch original Madonna videos, which are better cuz you can actually jerk off to the shit, instead of watching Gaga where you question your sexuality after watching the shit…. She is textbook…a cliche….who gets how to get noticed…she understands how to offend…but fuck…as I write this she’s at the point in the song where she’s dacing in her panties and that fucking face….is the real offensive thing in all this, followed closely by the fact that people buy into this and that she’s a fucking success….while looking like that… The highlight of the video is not the lingerie, or the gay man on gay man dancing to push the boundaries of conservative America, or even the latex nun outfit cuz sexy nuns are scandalous and get people talking, it’s the nice fake accent she’s rocking, cuz she’s a fucking clown. The highlight of Gaga’s career is that she’s made actual hot pussy rock the one-piece and sex things up a bit…something I always appreciate from ugly chicks….

Make Homosexuals Marry – Video

“Meet Devin & Glenn–two gents who met, fell in love, got married, and then had to deal with the consequences of that decision. From obnoxious in-laws (Tom Arnold) to passive aggressive fights over dinner, Devin & Glenn have the same problems that most married couples deal with–and that's the point. The folks behind this video wanted to show that marriage is marriage regardless of the sexuality of its inhabitants. Their campaign, “Make Homosexuals Marry,” was created to “keep the 'No on 8' debate active in hopes that, through humor, a dialogue continues,” said writers/directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon. The small group behind this video worked entirely for free–everyone from actors to craft service donated their efforts.” — The Huffington Post Is this effective? Chely Wright Comes Out

‘Nothing in my life has been more magical than the moment I decided to come out,’ country singer says, revealing her sexuality. By Josh Wigler Photo: Stephen Lovekin/ Getty Images Country music singer Richell Rene “Chely” Wright has come out. In an interview with People.com , the “Shut Up and Drive” singer revealed her sexual preference, saying that she had previously resisted the urge to publicly address her homosexuality because she didn’t want to be the first country star to do so. “There had never, ever been a country music artist who had acknowledged his or her homosexuality,” she told the magazine in an article published Monday (May 3). “I wasn’t going to be the first” — but she changed her mind. “Nothing in my life has been more magical than the moment I decided to come out,” she said. Wright, 39, said she’d kept her sexuality from the public in order to protect her career as a musician. “I don’t have a memory in my life that doesn’t include the dream of making music,” the singer explained. “I hid everything for my music.” Wright will release her memoir, “Like Me,” and her new album, Lifted Off the Ground, on Tuesday. Additionally, the singer will appear on the “Today” show on Wednesday to discuss her new endeavors and further elaborate on her personal journey. Wright’s first album, Woman in the Moon, debuted in 1994. She has won multiple awards, including several from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. Lifted Off the Ground is Wright’s first album of all-new material in five years.

Jason Pfeiffer Alleges Gay Affair with Michael Jackson; Dr. Arnold Klein Backs Him Up

Jason Pfeiffer, a former dermatologist’s assistant and current CEO of a medical company, tells Extra that he had an affair with the late Michael Jackson. Moreover, he was his boyfriend right up until the King of Pop died. Pfeiffer claims he had a very “passionate and sexual” relationship with Jackson, and has kept several messages that the music superstar left for him. “We definitely hit it off the first time we met,” Pfeiffer says , claiming they met in 2008 at the office of Jackson’s famed dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein. Klein is a longtime friend of Jackson’s and, as you may know, is rumored to be the biological father of the singer’s two older children, Prince and Paris. In any case, Dr. Klein backs up Pfeiffer’s account, saying that he knew Jackson and Pfeiffer were together when he once walked in on them shirtless. Jason Pfeiffer: Dr. Arnold Klein’s former office manager . “When you see two people looking at each other you know what’s happening. I was just very happy for both of them,” Arnold Klein said of the discovery. Pfeiffer says he and Jackson connected because of their childhoods. “We were just sitting there and we both started to cry and I got up and went over to him and said it’s going to be okay Michael… We hugged,” he says. “It was kind of then that the hug was a little bit more … It wasn’t until a few months later that it was obvious that Michael had feelings for me as well.” Their friendship soon blossomed into something more, according to Pfeiffer, even though Jackson emphatically denied throughout life that he was gay. “I just assumed that he was probably bisexual,” Pfeiffer says, claiming their relationship lasted until the day Jackson died . “I know we loved each other.” “I know he told me all the time. I believe he was probably my soulmate.” So why come forward now? “Setting the record straight and finally telling the truth, as opposed to hiding in some house … I think he would have approved of that, yes.” As for Klein, he does not believe he betrayed Jackson because he says Jackson never tried to hide his sexuality … even though it appears clear to pretty much everyone that he went to extreme lengths to hide his sexuality. Klein told TMZ, “Was he gay? Yes.” He then went on to say his declaration was not meant to disparage Jackson, but to shoot down rumors that Jackson was a pedophile. Klein says Pfeiffer’s gay affair was the only one he knows of. Pfeiffer adds, “Michael was not ashamed of his sexuality.” Klein and Pfeiffer say they have received numerous “horrible death threats” since their statements became public. Both currently have bodyguards. Michael Jackson and Dr. Arnold Klein .
