Some people just REALLY shouldn’t be able to have kids… Woman Chains Her Son To Radiator For 2 Weeks A New Jersey woman is behind bars on $50,000 bail after she reported her 10-year-old son “missing” before he was found by police and told them that his mother had chained him to the radiator in their home for 2 weeks straight. via Fox News A southern New Jersey mother and her boyfriend are accused of chaining her 10-year-old son to a radiator pipe for two weeks. Authorities say 31-year-old Florence Pollard called police to report her son had run away. But when the child was found a few blocks away, he told police he had been chained to a radiator in his mother’s bedroom by his ankle for two weeks as punishment. Officers say they found a chain and lock attached to a radiator. Pollard and Craig are each being held on $50,000 bail. It’s not known if either has retained an attorney. The boy and his five siblings are in the custody of state child-welfare officials. According to Mail Online A mother whose son died 18 years ago pickled him in alcohol and stashed his corpse in the basement where she has cared for him ever since… all so his son can learn to love him. Tsiuri Kvaratskhelia keeps Joni Bakaradze’s body entombed in a wooden coffin beneath the family home in Georgia, eastern Europe. But despite having died in 1995, the 22-year-old has remained almost perfectly mummified, thanks to his mother’s constant love and attention. And every year on his birthday she has even given him a change of clothes – until four years ago when decay finally made the feat impossible. ‘He wanted his kid to see him that way,’ she explained. ‘I believe from that point on the kid started to love his father.’ There is also a little viewing window in the basement so family, friends and passers by can see how he’s getting on. Mrs Kvaratskhelia has learned more than a few tricks to keep her son presentable. It gets weirder. ‘One night I had a dream when a voice told me to treat Joni by rubbing alcohol so from then on I’ve being using wet sheets dipped in alcohol to preserve the body,’ she said. ‘You must not leave the body without the sheets overnight as the skin will turn black as charcoal.’ She added: ‘For 10 years I’ve been changing his clothes on his birthday. Only the past four years I was unable to do so. ‘He was a good man, a good husband, not the way he is now.’ But now Joni, whose cause of death remains unknown, is finally beginning to decompose since illness prevented Mrs Kvaratskhelia from giving him the daily care he needs. ‘I was sick lately and could not tend to his body,’ she said. ‘That had an effect on him. ‘My son is handsome. Judge Resentences Teacher After Victim Kills Herself Via NewsOne reports: An embattled Montana judge is poised on Friday to try to undo his lenient sentence in the case of a teacher who raped a student, despite warnings from both prosecutors and the defense that he doesn’t have that authority. District Judge G. Todd Baugh stoked a furor when he sent former Billings Senior High School teacher Stacey Rambold to prison for just 30 days. The 71-year-old judge suggested in court that the 14-year-old victim shared responsibility in the case. The girl committed suicide in 2010 while the case was pending. After apologizing for his comments, Baugh now says a two-year minimum prison sentence appears mandatory and that his original sentence appears to be illegal. On the judge’s order, Rambold was returned from Montana State Prison for a Friday resentencing hearing in Billings. But the state already has appealed the case, and both prosecutors and the defense say only the Montana Supreme Court has the power to fix any mistakes made at the sentencing. On Thursday, the Montana Attorney General’s Office submitted an emergency petition asking justices to block the Friday resentencing. State attorneys said the hearing would “cause a gross injustice to an orderly appeal.” Baugh said earlier in the week that he intended to hold the hearing even if he was the only one who shows up. His office said late Thursday that the hearing would proceed. The reason we have laws to protect children is because their minds and bodies are not fully developed. Therefore they can make decisions that are not always in their best interests. A 14 year old girl, no matter how mature she looked and acted, is still a child. Continue reading →
