Source: Christian Petersen / Getty Florida Police Are Looking For Adrien Broner…Again According to TMZ , Adrien Broner is a wanted man in Florida again. The champion boxer failed to show up in Broward County court earlier this week and the judge was tired of the disrespect so a warrant was issued for his immediate arrest. Broner was arrested for speeding, not having a driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance. The reason for the court date was an arrest that took place back in Dec. of 2017 and this is reportedly the third time he has bob & weave’d this court appearance. Broner has a storied history of run ins with the law, he’s already been arrested multiple times for the same issue. Also back in April of 2017, the boxer was arrested for having an open warrant in connection to three-year-old public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges. This is just another L Broner has taken in a matter of weeks; having lost in a unanimous decision to a Manny Pacquiao almost twice his age.   Continue reading →

According to a new report, the “Bossy” singer didn’t provide proper travel notice so the move might be a violation of her child custody agreement with the Queens rapper. From TMZ : “Nas is pissed off about a bunch of child custody issues — the biggest being Kelis’ plans to hightail to Cartagena. According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Kelis already took 9-year-old  Knight  to Colombia last month. Nas says he was supposed to get their son on New Year’s Eve … but Kelis texted him to say the plan had changed. He says she didn’t come back to the states until Jan. 14.” It seems she’s already been making moves on the low, low… “Further, he says Kelis has told him she and her new husband have a farm in Colombia and she intends to stay there. Nas says she’s already withdrawn Knight from his private school in L.A. … and he says Kelis is currently homeschooling the kid in Colombia.” Hopefully, they’ll be able to work this out for their son’s sake. Well, that has happened quite yet. But at least Cardi has Stephen Colbert ‘s vote. The late night talk show host is campaigning for Cardi to deliver her own address after Donald Trump ‘s State of the Union address. On Wednesday night, Colbert tweeted, “I am starting a petition for the Democrats to let @iamcardib give the rebuttal to the SOTU. However, it seems Colbert is planning ahead. His tweet supporting Cardi has already received over 22,000 retweets as of Thursday morning. The not-too-shabby numbers have the potential to grow if the Cardi stans do their thing. Granted, we doubt the Dems have the balls to let a real one like Cardi represent them. But hey, this could be the start of an amazing skit featuring Cardi on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.  Cardi has already shown she has the chops to go against political naysayers. On Tuesday, Cardi clapped back at conservative TV host Stephanie Hammill when she tried to shame Cardi’s twerking in her “Twerk” music video with City Girls.  “In the Era of #meToo how exactly does this empower women,” Hammill tweeted. “Leftists, @iamcardib , feel free to chime in. THX ..” Cardi responded to the caucasity tenacity by tweeting, “It says to women that I can wear and not wear what ever I want. do w.e I want and that NO still means NO. Nicholas Sandmann who previously tried to paint himself as a peacemaker to NBC News and said he stood still simply to “diffuse the situation” sucked up some airtime on “The Today Show” Wednesday. Sandmann sat down with Savannah Guthrie and refuted claims that he’s an unangelic, ignorant, entitled, bra and instead he says he and his Cheeto approved friends were just minding their business when they became victims. He also denied that he was smirking—-even though we all have working eyes and can clearly see his smug facial expression. “People judged me based off one expression, which I wasn’t smirking,” Sandmann said to “Today. And they’ve gone from there to titling me and labeling me as a racist person.” “As far as standing there, I had every right to do so. I don’t – I – my position is that I was not disrespectful to Mr. Phillips,” Sandmann added. “I respect him. I’d like to talk to him. In his latest podcast episode, Joe said he thinks “Every Day Struggle” just exists to be in a “marketplace”, not contributing anything to culture and names DJ Akademiks and Nadeska as the “ugly trolls” who just perpetuate the vultures at Complex behind their branded hip-hop show. What sparked the critique was how poorly he says they handled their interview with Soulja. The hosts seemingly mocked the rapper/entrepreneur throughout the interview. Joe was ticked off even further by the audacity of Nadeska saying “we support Black businesses up here.” Joe, from his own account, said Complex has laid off countless Black talent and Rich Antonielloe (CEO of Complex Media) said to him verbatim that he has a “hard time selling ads on a show with Black people”… Yikes! Sit down! The other point in the interview that came off foolish was Nadeska asking “why do you have so many businesses?” as Akademiks trolled Soulja’s game console. Chicago Officer Jason Van Dyke Sentenced To Just Six Years In Prison For Laquan McDonald Murder

Source: Scott Olson / Getty Jason Van Dyke Sentenced To Six Years For Laquan McDonald Shooting Chicago Police officer Jason Van Dyke has been sentenced to 81 months, (6 years and 9 months) in prison and two years of mandatory supervised release for the murder of 17-year old Laquan McDonald . Van Dyke was convicted in October of second-degree murder and 16 counts of aggravated battery, one for each shot Van Dyke fired that struck McDonald. Back in 2014, the officer shot Laquan 16 times after responding to police calls for assistance. Van Dyke claimed that he fired after McDonald failed to comply with demands to drop a knife he was holding and made a threatening move toward police. USA Today reports: Prosecutors had asked Judge Vincent Gaughan to sentence Van Dyke to a prison term of 18 to 20 years. His defense team had asked that he be released on probation Illinois state law requires he serve at least 50 percent of the sentence. He’s already served about three months as he awaited sentencing, so Van Dyke could be out of prison in a little more than three years. Since the fatal shooting, all Chicago officers are required to wear body cameras and the three officers who allegedly “covered up” his actions have been acquitted . Prosecutors suggested up to 96 years for his crime. Before the sentencing, a judge received 200 letters begging for leniency for Van Dyke and his wife emotionally read one asking that he be set free. According to her he “paid the ultimate price.” “He has paid the ultimate price. He will no longer be a police officer. His life is over,” said the wife in court. “He has paid the ultimate price. He will no longer be a police officer. His life is over” – Jason Van Dyke’s wife pleads with court to let her husband come home.
