Police Chief Thomas Burke Caught Using N-Word In Book Drive Email Police Chief Thomas Burke was sworn into office on Monday to ensure the safety of the residents of Farrell, Pennsylvania. Only problem is, he just got caught sending an n-word laden email to his colleagues asking them to donate money to a local book drive. According to WICU , Councilwoman Stephanie Sheffield ain’t with it. Not even a lil’ bit: “I spoke with him this morning, and I immediately said dismissal,” Councilwoman Sheffield adds. “[Burke] came and knocked on my door this morning with an apology letter and how he is very familiar with our community and our area. [Burke said] he does use the ‘N’ Word very often because that’s the way it is in our area. [I don’t think] he should stand in that position if he’s going to use the ‘N’ Word.” Check out this guy’s weak azz apology below. Kick rocks racist white man. You’ll be the same azzhole defending your cops when they gun down unarmed black folks. We don’t believe you, you need more people. Image via WICU

FBI Arrest White Virginia Men For Planning To Bomb Black Churches The FBI has arrested two men they say were plotting to bomb Black churches in order to start a “race war” according to NBC 12 reports: Robert Doyle and Ronald Chaney “ascribe to a white supremacy version of the Asatru faith,” according to court documents. The FBI says Doyle held a meeting on September 27 at his Chesterfield home to discuss “shooting or bombing the occupants of black churches and Jewish synagogues.” The FBI says several vehicles were present at the home on that day, including one registered to Chaney. According to the FBI, Doyle and Chaney met with an undercover agent posing as an illegal arms dealer on October 25. The two allegedly ordered “an automatic weapon, explosives, and a pistol with a silencer.” On November 8, the FBI says Chaney met with the undercover agent to make the purchase, and was placed under arrest. Doyle was arrested later that day. The FBI also says the two men were plotting to rob and kill a local jewelry store dealer with the help of a third suspect, Charles Daniel Halderman. The FBI says they recorded meetings where Doyle outlined the plan, which included robbing an armored car and attacking a gun store owner in Virginia, in order to “purchase land, stockpile weapons, and train for the coming race war.” Halderman was arrested on November 8 and charged with conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery. Five Mayors Deny Racist Klan Membership After Anonymous Releases Names 5 mayors from all over the US who have been accused of being associated with the Ku Klux Klan by hacktivists affiliated with “Anonymous” have taken to social media to deny the charges according to Raw Story . “I am opposed to everything the KKK stands for. I have no idea where this information came from, but wherever it came from, it is wrong,” Lexington, Kentucky Mayor Jim Gray wrote on Twitter. On Monday morning, Anonymous began to release the names of 1,000 people who the group accuses of being members of the KKK. Other officials named in the document dump have begun to deny the charges including Mayor Paul Fraim, the Democratic mayor of Norfolk, Virginia. “People have been spreading a report from the Internet that I am involved with the KKK. This report is a hoax and is absolutely false,” Fraim said on Facebook. Mayor Madeline Rogero (D) of Knoxville, Tennessee also denied the allegations. “I’m not even sure this is worth responding to, but for the record: There is a list circulating online purporting to “out” elected officials as members of the KKK. For reasons unfathomable to me or anyone who knows me, my name is on the list. Given my background, my interracial family, my public record and my personal beliefs, this would be hilarious except that it is probably being seen by a lot of people who have no idea who I am,” Rogero wrote on Facebook. “So, just to be clear, for anyone who doesn’t know me: Don’t be ridiculous,” the mayor continued. “I began my political career working for the rights of farm workers with Cesar Chavez. I have spent decades working for causes of social justice and equality. As Mayor, I have pushed for diversity in our workforce and outreach to and inclusion of people of all backgrounds in our community. In concert with President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper program, I began the Save Our Sons initiative to increase opportunities and reduce violence-related deaths among boys and young men of color. I have advocated publicly for LGBT civil rights, and I was the only mayor in Tennessee to sign onto the mayors’ amicus brief for the plaintiffs in the Supreme Court’s marriage equality case. In short, I don’t think the KKK would want anything to do with me.” “I strongly request that anyone associated with the creation and dissemination of this false and defamatory accusation retract it immediately,” Rogero wrote. “It is irresponsible and slanderous. (Although, on a positive note, I do appreciate that they are using a picture of me from 12 years ago. Very flattering!)” Fort Wayne, Indiana Mayor Tom Henry denied the accusations as well. “Claims that I have ties to the KKK are totally false and irresponsible,” Henry wrote on Twitter. “Our City celebrates and appreciates diversity and acceptance. Racism has no place in our society and my life.” Do you believe the mayors or nah??

Blacks And Hispanics Are Less Likely To Be Approved For A Mortgage Do you think minorities are less likely to be approved for a mortgage or loans from a bank? According to The New York Times this discriminatory act is nothing new most communities… In 2014, Hudson City Savings Bank, New Jersey’s largest savings bank approved 1,886 mortgages in the market that includes New Jersey and sections of New York and Connecticut, federal mortgage data show. Only 25 of those loans went to black borrowers. Hudson, while denying wrongdoing, agreed last month to pay nearly $33 million to settle a lawsuit filed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Justice Department. Federal officials said it was the largest settlement in the history of both departments for redlining, the practice in which banks choke off lending to minority communities. Banks normally try to avoid borrowers who seem likely to default on their loans, but some stepped over the line, officials say, excluding entire communities and the creditworthy people who live in them. In 2014, black people held 5.2 percent of the nation’s home loans, compared with 8.7 percent in 2006, according to the Federal Reserve Bank. Hispanics have struggled to regain lost ground as well, accounting for 7.9 percent of home loans in 2014, compared with 11.7 percent in 2006. Federal and state officials said it was impossible to determine how widespread discriminatory lending had become. They believe a vast majority of banks are operating legally, but recent lawsuits have revealed striking disparities. Discuss.
