In-Laws Feuding At Sherri Sheperd’s Wedding?

The ink hasn’t fully dried on the marriage license and there’s already drama taking place with Sherri Shepherd and her in-laws. Rumor has it that not everyone is happy about Sherri & Lamar’s wedding that took place over the weekend. Sherri’s dad is totally against the marriage as is Sherri’s new mother-in-law. Sherri’s dad is worried because his daughter is the breadwinner in the family and he’s not thrilled that Sherri is going to make her new husband her manager. (Note to Sherri: You may want to talk to Mariah about this one! flasback to Tommy Mottola!) As for the mother-in-law, it’s the usual, “she’s not good enough for my son” plus she thinks Sherri talks too much. And to make matters worse, the mother-in-law makes no secret of the fact that she likes one of Lamar’s ex-girlfriends better than Sherri. What a nice way to start a life together! I hope these two work it out, Sherri deserves some happiness. Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne collaborative album released exclusively to itunes last week Monday August 8. According to several reports, the album has broken a itunes sales record. Jay-Z and Kanye beat out Coldplay for the best first week sales on itunes. Watch The Throne moved 290,000 copies breaking Coldplay’s previous record with their 2008 Viva La Vida album, which sold 155,000 copies. Jay and Kanye can really go on that joyride in the maybach stunt car for real now. “The View’s” Sherri Shepherd married fiance Lamar Sally over the weekend in Chicago. Sherri’s son Jeffrey walked his mom down the aisle for her second marriage. Sherri tells Life & Style magazine: “Second chances really do happen, and I got mine! I’m married now!” The bride wore a custom Rivini gown, and her bridesmaids, which included Niecy Nash, Kim Whitley and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, wore custom gowns made by Carmen Marc Valvo. The New Birth Missionary Baptist Church leader was the keynote speaker at a conference in South Africa recently. Bishop Eddie Long Accuser Arrested On Gun & Drug Charges In Miami

One of the four men who accused Bishop Eddie Long of sexual misconduct — the first one to speak publicly about the allegation — was arrested this week in Miami on suspicion of being a drug dealer. Jamal Parris, 24, was driving a white 2011 BMW in Miami Beach Tuesday evening when a Florida Highway Patrol officer noticed that it had no tags. After pulling the car over the approaching officer approached and smelled marijuana. A search of the car turned up 181 grams of marijuana, which is worth about $1,000 on the street. The officer also discovered 50 clear plastic baggies and a Taurus semiautomatic handgun. Parris also was carrying $1,250 in cash. Parris was arrested and jailed. He was charged with two felony counts: possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while committing a felony. He also was charged with operating a motor vehicle with no registration, a misdemeanor. Read the full story here. After handing over the cash, the unnamed woman hugs the embattled pastor and walks back to her seat while the crowd cheers. Pastor Donald Battle of Atlanta’s Divine Faith Ministries addressed the Bishop Eddie Long scandal recently, preaching that the embattled New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor has “problems” and needs to “sit down.” Battle also disagreed with Creflo Dollar’s recent sermon chastising New Birth members for leaving the church.
