Jesus Take The Wheel: Ohio 12-Year-Old Kills Himself After Shooting His 9-Year-Old Half Brother To Death

Ohio 12-Year-Old Kills Himself After Shooting His 9-Year-Old Half Brother To Death This is so sad. Via Raw Story: A 12-year-old boy in Ohio is dead after reportedly fatally shooting his 9-year-old half-brother and then himself. Jackson County Coroner Gregory Hawker on Wednesday said that autopsies showed that 9-year-old Blake Campbell died almost immediately after being shot in the head with .44-caliber revolver. His half-brother, 12-year-old Austin Wiseman, then put the gun under his own chin and pulled the trigger, according to The Columbus Dispatch. The children were at home alone when the shootings occurred on Tuesday. They were later discovered by their grandparents. It was not immediately clear why Wiseman had shot Campbell. A full autopsy was expected to be completed in about six weeks. “I know Austin was very loving and caring,” relative Shirley Causey told the Dispatch. “In my mind, I’m just thinking that maybe Blake found the gun and Austin tried to take it away from him and it went off. He didn’t do it on purpose; I don’t believe he would have done it on purpose. He loved his brother, I know he did.” This is why parents with guns need to make sure they are in a secure place – accident or no accident, these kids should not have been able to access the gun period. Fawk A Dumb Thug: Brooklyn Man Sentenced To 25-To-Life After Bragging “Ville Up Hoe!” On Facebook After Murking HS Hoops Star

This guy deserves to rot in a cell. The family of young woman who was a promising Harlem HS hoops star is finally seeing some justice for her murder two years ago. Via NY Post reports : A young thug was sent silent and sullen to prison today for the random Harlem murder of high school basketball star Tayshana “Chicken” Murphy — instead, his vile Facebook posting from an hour after the shooting spoke for him. “Ville up hoe,” Tyshawn Brockington, 23, had snarled online, a reference to Manhattanville Houses, which was at war with Murphy’s Grant Houses, leaving her as a bloody, innocent casualty in her building’s fourth floor stairwell two years ago. By “Ville up,” the killer had meant that in Murphy’s death, Manhattanville had just notched a one-up victory in the two projects’ senseless war, prosecutors explained. And “Hoe” was the killer’s final blow to the stranger who was his victim — again senseless given her undisputed virtues as a sister, daughter, friend and athlete. “Killing her was not enough,” prosecutor Jeffrey Levinson said of Brockington at the emotional Manhattan Supreme Court sentencing. “He has to call her a pr0stitute, or a sl*t, or a wh*re.” The judge, too, decried Brockington’s Facebook posting before giving him a 25-to-life sentence, the maximum allowed. “Certainly the vile comment – “Ville up hoe” — made an hour later, showed some kind of abhorrent pride in what he had accomplished,” said Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Thomas Farber. Four rows of the fallen basketball stars’ family members, friends and coaches attended the emotional sentencing. “You took her breath,” mom Tephanie Holston said in a victim impact statement, her voice dignified but quavering as she faced her daughter’s murderer. “She wasn’t yours.” Murphy, a senior at Murry Bergtraum High School, had been considered one of the country’s top female point guards. Her dream was to make it big — by shattering the gender barrier in the NBA, the prosecutor said. “She set her sights on playing with the NBA with the men… and she made the promise that once she got there, she was going to bring everybody with her,” he said. Watching the trial had been painful, said the judge. “This is about young people killing other young people. And this is really really tragic to me,” he said. “Sitting through the trial, and watching the videos and thinking about these two housing projects … What could that be,” he said of the bloody rivalries between the two projects, “other than some desire to create a sense of self worth by creating a sense of otherness against people who should be your brothers and sisters. “That to me is incredibly tragic,” he added. “Those bullets ended your life in a significant way as well,” judge told the perp. “I try never to sentence out of vengeance,” he said. “We’re desperately in need of kinship rather than otherness. But I can’t impose in in a case like this any sentence other than the maximum sentence.” Two lives have been effectively lost to gun violence: an 18-year-old girl who died far too young, and a 23-year-old man, who could spend the rest of his life in prison for her murder,” said Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance, Jr., in a written statement issued after the sentencing. “My office will continue to work with communities across Manhattan to put an end to the gang and gun violence that was one of the contributing factors to Ms. Murphy’s untimely death.” SMH. Stop the violence! When you’re young it’s easy to get caught up in gang and turf BS but that ish truly ain’t what life is about. Now this dummy will be spending the rest of his life in jail and this family is without a loved one. Continue reading

Get Well: Nelson Mandela In Serious Condition In South African Hospital With Severe Lung Infection

Again??? Sweet baby Jesus. Nelson Mandela In Serious Condition With Lung Infection Via NYPost Former South African President Nelson Mandela is in “serious but stable” condition after being taken to a hospital to be treated for a lung infection, the government said Saturday, prompting an outpouring of concern from admirers of a man who helped to end white racist rule. Mandela’s wife, humanitarian activist Graca Machel, canceled an appearance at an international forum on hunger and nutrition in London on Saturday, citing “personal reasons,” said Colleen Harris, a spokeswoman for the meeting. Mandela, who is 94 years old, was treated in a hospital several times in recent months, with the last discharge coming on April 6 after doctors drained fluid from his lung area after diagnosing him with pneumonia. He has been particularly vulnerable to respiratory problems since contracting tuberculosis during his 27-year imprisonment under apartheid. “During the past few days, former President Nelson Mandela has had a recurrence of lung infection,” said a statement from the office of President Jacob Zuma. “This morning at about 1.30a.m., his condition deteriorated and he was transferred to a Pretoria hospital.” It said Mandela was receiving expert medical care and “doctors are doing everything possible to make him better and comfortable.” Zuma wished Mandela a quick recovery on behalf of the government and the nation and requested that the media and the public respect the privacy of the former leader and his family, the statement said. “We need to hold our thoughts and keep him in our minds,” said Mac Maharaj, the president’s spokesman. “He is a fighter, he has recovered many times from very serious conditions and he will be with us. Let’s pray for him and help him to get better.” Let’s all pray for Mr. Mandela’s health. Image via AP Continue reading

Please Stop The Violence: 13 More People Shot Overnight In Chicago As Annual Shooting Toll Continues To Rise

13 More People Shot Overnight In Chicago The spree of Summer violence in Chicago is underway and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. At least 13 people were reported shot yesterday in the gang via Chicago Tribune A man was shot multiple times in the Sheridan Park neighborhood last night and left in critical condition, one of at least 13 people shot across the city Friday and early Saturday morning, officials said. Paramedics took a 25-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, according to Chicago Fire Department Chief Juan Hernandez. In a separate incident tonight, at least three people were shot in the 5900 block of South Wood Street about 7 p.m., according to authorities. One man shot in the torso or abdomen was taken in serious-to-critical condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, while another man was taken in fair-to-serious condition to Holy Cross Hospital, according to the fire department and police. Another man, whose age wasn’t available, was shot about 8:18 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Albany Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood. He was shot all over his body and police said he was in stable condition. A 25-year-old walked into West Suburban Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his ankle about 7:10 p.m., Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. In earlier attacks Friday afternoon, two teenage boys were shot in separate incidents in the Cragin and South Shore neighborhoods, authorities said. A 16-year-old boy was stabilized and taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital following a shooting where a group of boys or men in a white SUV drove up, stopped and at least one person got out and shot at the boy, hitting him in the leg. The boy was believed to have shouted out slogans for a gang he belongs to as the SUV drove up, and those in the SUV belonged to a rival gang and shot him after he shouted the slogans, a police source said. Earlier in the South Shore neighborhood, a 15-year-old boy was taken to Jackson Park Hospital with his condition stabilized after he was found wounded, according to the fire department. Early Saturday morning, two men were shot in the East Garfield Park neighborhood in an attack witnessed by paramedics driving through the area. They’re both in serious-to-critical condition. A couple minutes before that, a 23-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Roseland Hospital. Two others were shot in their legs early Saturday morning in the 3800 block of West 28th Street in the Little Village neighborhood. An upside down crown — a gang symbol inverted and meant to show disrespect — was painted on a dumpster across from where the two were shot. Police said both men were gang members who did not cooperate with investigators. There has to be some way to stop this madness from happening every year. SMH! Continue reading

Florida Crazies: Club Bouncer Kills 3 Of His Best Friends For Teasing Him After They Pull A “Punk’d”-Like Prank!

It’s all fun and games until the pistols get ta’ poppin’… Florida Bouncer Kills Friends For Teasing Him After Gun Misfire Prank Via NYDailyNews They made fun of him for misfiring his gun — so a Florida bouncer shot and killed three of his colleagues, police say. The senseless shooting Sunday stemmed from a filmed incident, a prank that caused the killer to harbor “ill will towards the three since this had occurred,” police said in a statement. After being “punked” by his co-workers, Andrew Joseph “Punchy” Lobban, 31, was allegedly so upset that he shot Josue “Sway” Santiago, 25, Benjamin Larz Howard, 23, and Jerry Lamar Bynes Jr., 20, outside an Ocala nightclub early Sunday morning. The men weren’at working at the time and reportedly were friends. But the incident at a shooting range, when Lobban misfired his gun, was caught on tape and apparently humiliated the accused murderer, Ocala Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Angy Scroble told the Ocala Star Banner. The slay victims reportedly teased the hulking accused killer about the incident. “He just kept harping on that” when speaking with detectives after the shooting, Scroble said. “It really bothered him.” Lobban allegedly shot each man once in the back of the head with a 9-mm pistol as the group left AJ’s around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. Lobban fled and ditched the gun and a black T-shirt in a nearby trash can. The weapon was found by a police K9 and Lobban was tracked down at his girlfriend’s home later that day. He’s charged with three counts of first-degree felony murder and held without bail. Santiago and Bynes were both fathers who leave behind young children. “These guys all hung out on a regular basis. I’m surprised,” Bobby Tillander, who owns the nightclub where the men worked, told the Star Banner. 3 dead bodies, all over a silly azz joke.
