With everybody off for the holidays (well, everybody but me), chances are pretty good that at some point you’ll run into a few old “friends” and have to awkwardly stand around catching up when you’d rather be sitting in your mom’s basement looking at pictures of hotties in bikinis. And apparently the same goes for cougars too, or at least the first part, because when it happens to them, they’re already in bikinis. It’s a good thing for the archives, not just because they’re a great way to kill an afternoon or two or five, but also because I’ve got the memory of a goldfish and didn’t realize that I’d done a post on this Shelby Chesnes hottie before. But turns out I have, and that she’s a former Playboy Playmate with a body to die for — although you probably could’ve figured that last part out from this bikini/lingerie photoshoot. The late comedy legend’s daughter made the comment during her first public appearance since her mother’s death, in E!’s Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan special, airing Friday night. “She affected so many people, and people you would never expect to have humor,” Melissa explains, alongside Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos. “I received a letter from the White House, President Obama, someone who was often a target of her jokes, as was Mrs. Obama, but I received a handwritten note, saying, ‘Not only did she make us laugh, she made us think.’ “ Osbourne added, “If it wasn’t for your mother, I wouldn’t be able to be me. My mother wouldn’t be able to be her.
