For the second time in her career, the media mogul endorsed a politician running for office. Her first was Former President Obama and now her second is Stacey Abrams , the Black Democratic candidate running to be Georgia’s next Governor. If Abrams win she will be the first Black woman to do so in American history . The creator of the OWN network, who is also a registered Independent, told a crowd today (Nov 1) at a Cobb County town hall, that she believes in Abrams and believes that she is the future of the state of Georgia. “I am here today because Stacey Abrams cares about the things that matter,” Winfrey told a cheering crowd , citing Abrams’ stance on environmental protection, healthcare and gun control. No one asked me to come here. I’ve earned the right to think for myself…I don’t want any party and I don’t want any kind of partisan influence telling me what decisions I get to make for myself” “I want to make it very clear,” Oprah Winfrey says while campaigning for Stacey Abrams. “I don't want to run, okay? Last week, an NBC News/Marist poll found that the race is tied, with likely voters favoring Kemp by a 49 percent to 47 percent spread, a number within the poll’s margin of error. However, Abrams has some other serious backup coming in soon too. Former President Obama will be stumping for her on Friday. Twitter Might Be Removing Their Like Button, Which Literally NOBODY Asked For

The platform has been under fire for a while, but even more so within the last 2 years due to the state of our country and y’all’s little president instilling confidence in people who might otherwise be more closeted with their hatred. But with so many people running around on the platform doing both hateful and harmful things, there are a lot of areas where Twitter could improve–but apparently, their CEO Jack Dorsey has some other plans on his agenda that he thinks are more important. At a recent Twitter event , Dorsey told a room full of employees and journalists that Twitter would be removing the heart-shaped Like button from the platform sometime “soon”. Twitter Communications confirmed a Like button rework was being considered as part of an ongoing effort to clean up the platform — with the aim of incentivizing “healthier conversations”. The tweet reads as follows: “As we’ve been saying for a while, we are rethinking everything about the service to ensure we are incentivizing healthy conversation, that includes the like button. But in 2015, Twitter changed the Favorite button to a Like because, “You might like a lot of things, but not everything can be your favorite”. Email Submit A lot of people watched in shock as Dr. Phil and Treasure Richards discussed why she hated Black people so much. “Most African-Americans speak ghetto, and when it comes to Black people, I think they’re all ugly, and I have nothing in common with them. I act and think like a white person, instead of a Black person,” the obviously Black girl said. Treasure’s mom Monique Richards was also on the show and blamed herself for Treasure’s mindset. According to their story, Treasure grew up thinking she was biracial because her mother lied to her kids about their biological father (a white man). Somehow, Treasure dismissed her other roots, but her sister, Nina, says it’s all a lie. She also spoke with Essence.com who reports: What pisses Nina off even more, is that her deceased father’s name and reputation was ruined. William Richards, who was a white man, died in 2006, and had his photo shown on national television. Monique apparently lied about the fact that Treasure never knew he wasn’t her biological father. According to Nina, her siblings always knew he wasn’t their biological father, but he was the one who raised them. “They disgraced my dad who I loved dearly. I haven’t spoken to my mom since the episode aired. My mom and I have had a relationship very rocky, because she’s done a lot of evil stuff,” Nina said. “Treasure always knew who her biological dad was, when it came to daddy (William), he was a very loving and kind man. All of that narrative of her not knowing she wasn’t white, is fake. He loved us and was such a loving person and seeing his picture his picture slapped all over television was a disgrace.” Nina doesn’t understand why her mother went along with the alleged scam. “It’s a disgrace to our family and our race. We are a Black family. Very Black. We’re Detroit Black,” she said. “For my mom to allow this, is a mind f-ck to all of us.” She believes the Dr. Phil team is racist and plans to call CPS on her mother. “Dr. Phil’s people did not care. They wanted to spin this narrative. This is why I believe everyone on that show’s staff is a racist. Dr. Phil corrected my sister for saying “retard” is a derogatory word, but never corrected her on saying ni–ers,” Nina continued. “As a proud makeup artist, who promotes Black beauty, it offended me to hear my sister talk about Black women the way she did. My mom raised me to be a proud Black woman, and the love of Black culture was always there … I’m calling CPS today. She needs to do some hard time in juvvie and sit down and be in a controlled area. See, apparently someone has been sending Cardi B some disturbing death threats, which led Cardi’s sister Hennessy to blame Nicki for leaking the “I Like It” rapper’s phone number to her fans. Nicki, who claimed that she wanted her Beats 1 show to be a drama-free zone, reneged on that sentiment and got super messy, telling her listeners that she didn’t leak anyone’s number and that when it comes to the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during NYFW , Cardi didn’t get attacked by security as it was once reported, but that Nicki’s homie Rah Ali allegedly whooped her nemesis’ tail. And whooped it good, the former Love & Hip Hop New York reality co-star did. “For people who don’t know, Rah Ali beat Cardi’s a$$ really bad. You went home and told people that security hit you. We told Rah not to say anything for legal reasons,” Nicki said. Pull up that surveillance footage.” She also had words for Cardi’s little sis Hennessy who on Sunday accused Nicki of leaking the new mom’s number. “What type of bird s— you on, bitch? New Orleans Rapper Young Greatness Shot And Killed

According to friends, Young Greatness (real name Theodore Jones) was shot and killed outside of a Waffle House in his native New Orleans Monday morning. He was 34. Per the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting occurred at 1:35 AM. When they arrived to the scene, they found the victim had died from a single gunshot wound. Jones was born in New Orleans but moved to Houston following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He broke through in 2016 with the single “Moolah,” eventually signing a deal with Cash Money Records. Currently, there are no suspects and no motive in regards to his killing. [WWLTV]

Shooter Identified In Deadly Shooting At Pittsburgh Synagogue

Law enforcement have identified the man accused of killing 11 people on Saturday morning’s shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. Authorities say the 46-year-old man is named Robert Bowers. According to USA Today , police told them that that before the shooting, Bowers, who’s from Pittsburg, made anti-Semitic comments. “All Jews must die!” he allegedly said. The officers’ injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. But Hollywood Bron is still working and looking to help resurrect the iconic horror film franchise Friday The 13th . The hockey mask wearing homicidal maniac Jason hasn’t been able to deliver vicious fades since the underrated 2009 Friday The 13th reboot. There have been talks of various sequels and reboots, but all have been hampered thanks to delays, creative conflicts and a lawsuit from the franchise’s creator Victor Miller. But thanks to the success of the Jamie Lee Curtis led Halloween revival and Michael Myers slashing his way to $77.8 million domestic opening new life has been given to Jason Voorhees. According to Page Six , insiders hint that LeBron James’ SpringHill Entertainment alongside Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment is currently in talks to acquire the rights to make a new movie happen and all signs are pointing to it coming to fruition. Miller has since won back the rights to the franchise, and with the two production companies and their first look deals with Warner Bros., they are expected to land the movie. The movie is still in early development, and no writers or a director has been attached to the project yet. One thing is for sure Jason will be taking out camp counselors at Camp Crystal Lake just like old times. LABron’s move to the west coast was supposedly for basketball reasons, but its quite clear LBJ has been bitten by the Hollywood bug.
