Hours before his first day working for Bellhops Movers, Carr started walking at midnight, making it to the town by 4 a.m. When he got there he encountered Pelham police officers, who took him to breakfast and dropped him at his assignment. Jenny Lamey says Carr declined her offer to rest before working, instead he went straight to work. Impressed by his work ethic, she started a GoFundMe that raised more than $6,600. When Bellhops CEO Luke Marklin learned about his new employee, he drove from Tennessee to surprise him with a new whip.

Some of us might remember how things like this end when rapper Princess Nokia threw her afternoon lunch at a New York subway racist last year . Now, a Chicago bigot was on the receiving end of Black fury. According to WGN 9 , a White man was arguing with passengers at a train stop and eventually the N-word is thrown around. A Black guy then removes his shirt and glasses, which is never a good sign for a bigot, and eventually he punches the White guy causing him to land on the edge of the track. The Black guy then hits the White guy again, nearly sending him into the train tracks. Eventually, other passengers intervene. According to a witness , the man who was punched used several racial slurs before the violent scene. The video has since gone viral with over 2 million views. Check it out for yourself below. On Thursday, Build-A-Bear found themselves in a bit of a PR crisis when they promoted a day of “Pay Your Age.” Parents or guardians could bring their kids to the store and have them build the bear of their dreams for however many fingers they were holding up. In other words, if your kid was three-years-old, get out them singles, it’s their lucky day! The idea seemed great, right up there with the free Slurpee day on 7/11. Only problem is, the promotion was so popular, the massive crowds became too chaotic for Build-A-Bear. They had to close down certain stores or limit the lines at others. Now that the promotion failed, BAB is giving out vouchers to people who were present in line and people in the U.S. and Canada who already signed up for the rewards program. Bonus Club members must log into their account by midnight on July 15 to receive their vouchers and they will be honored through August 31, 2018, according to BAB’s website . Charlamagne was accused of raping a 15-year-old when he was 22 at the time. He denied the allegations and eventually was found guilty of a lesser charge — contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was sentenced to three years probation. Now, 17 years later, the woman who accused him of rape, Jessica Reid, wants to reopen the case. According to a report by The Blast , she is now seeking legal representation. There is even a petition that was launched on Care2 to get Charlamagne fired from his co-host spot on The Breakfast Club . It has over 6,000 supporters so far. Charlmagne has claimed his innocence before in an interview with DJ Akademiks where he retold his side of the story. Meanwhile, in the police report filed in 2001, Reid and her friend claimed that they were picked up one evening and brought to a short-stay Naval housing facility. They say they were given a liquid to drink that tasted like soda, which was the last thing they remembered before Reid’s friend woke up to a man trying to kiss her. She claimed to have pushed the man away and went searching for Reid. When she found her, she says Reid was naked and crying, saying she had been raped. When the two were brought to a local hospital, the staff corroborated that a sexual assault had occurred and Reid identified Charlamagne as the culprit. Charlamagne has yet to respond to the petition or Reid wanting to reopen the case. We’ll continued to keep you updated if major updates arise.
