In a new thread historian Nick Kapur breaks it down for us. Hit the flip for really interesting (and in some cases, graphic) monikers. A thread of Chinese internet nicknames for NBA players. China is crazy for the NBA, but official sources use boring phonetic transcriptions, failing to take advantage of Chinese characters having both sound and meaning. America’s New Superhero Is Small, Black And Maybe Flying Through Your Town Soon

So once a week, Austin rocks a red cape and transforms into “President Austin,” delivering meals to the less fortunate. It usually takes young, brilliant minds like his to teach the world what love and kindness really is.   Look out for superhero Austin Perine in the Avengers movie coming out in 2044. Ha!

Check Out These ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Spoilers But With No Context

Source: Marvel/Disney / Marvel/Disney Avengers: Infinity War raked in $630 Million on opening weekend and it was the one thing your Twitter timeline couldn’t stop talking about. Unfortunately, there were still a ton of people who haven’t seen the film. Compare that to the ton of people who saw the film and wanted to talk through their mourning, it was almost impossible for the two groups to coexist on the timeline. The only solution was to drop spoilers on the timeline without actually spoiling the film for others. That’s how ‘Infinity Wars Spoilers Without Context’ became the weekend’s trending topic. After teasing the release of new music,  Kanye dropped “Lift Yourself Up” Friday afternoon via twitter. In a tweet directed at Ebro of Hot 97, he announced he will drop a brand-new single that will give the radio personality some “closure”. I'm going to drop a song with a verse that will bring Ebro the closure he's been seeking The bars It's called Lift Yourself — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 27, 2018 The song only features Kanye for a short “verse” but its mostly instrumental and gives the listener them impression that he’s trolling fans and the media. You can check listen to the track on his website  here .   Kanye West’s new album will allegedly be available everywhere on June 1st.
