Don Cheadle take a walk on the wild side in the new Showtime dramedy “House of Lies.”  Cheadle plays Marty Kaan, a ruthless, but brilliant management consultant who never keeps his eye off the bottom line.  Marty and his equally hungry team are living the high life, complete with nights of debauchery at night clubs and lavish dinners–all at the expense of corporate CEO’s who may, or may not need Marty’s “expertise.”  Complicating matters for Marty are his pill-popping ex-wife, their cross-dressing son Roscoe, and his cantankerous father, a retired psychoanalyst. “House of Lies” premieres January 8th.  Showtime is streaming the pilot episode online. What can you say about Eva Amurri ? She’s the daughter of busty babe Susan Sarandon , who talked Eva into making her nude debut on an October 2009 episode of the Showtime series Californication . She’s a graduate of Brown University and speaks four languages. She and her huge knockers are engaged to some lucky bozo named Kyle Martino . And now she’s set to star alongside Christine Lahti in the pilot episode of the CBS drama The Doctor. Lahti, who won a Golden Globe for playing a doctor on the medical drama Chicago Hope , plays an MD who reconnects with her adult children when she joins the family medical practice. Mr. Skin can see one plot hole already—Lahti doesn’t have the sweater-sacks to have spawned a daughter with dairy bombs like that. But if Christine’s the doctor, does that make Eva the nurse? Following in the footsteps of Neil Patrick Harris (who played “Neil Patrick Harris” in the Harold and Kumar franchise) and Matt LeBlanc (who is currently playing “Matt LeBlanc” on the Showtime series Episodes ), James Van Der Beek will play “himself” in the ABC pilot Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23 . (Expect that hilarious title to change.) The show is about a June, Midwestern girl who moves to New York to live with Chloe, a wild party girl. A lot of America was watching the Grammies last night, but Mr. Skin was far more interested in the Emmies. Or at least in one Emmy: Emmy Rossum , star of the skin-filled Showtime series Shameless . Since her nude debut on the show’s pilot, Emmy has only done one other topless scene on the series.
