Gay Gangsta Quote Of The Day: Anderson Cooper To Picture-Taking Fan: “Beyotch What The Fawk Are You Doing?”

Oh, you thought he was some kind of punk??? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit Anderson Cooper Snaps At Picture Taking Fan On Airplane Note to fans: do not bother Anderson Cooper when he is trying to get some sleep. During an appearance on Kathy Griffin’s new Bravo talk show “Kathy” Thursday night, the silver-haired news anchor recalled a story about his recent run-in with a sneaky fan during a 6 a.m. flight this week. Cooper, 45, said he was trying to get some rest aboard the New York-to-Los Angeles flight when he noticed the man seated in front of him trying to snap some photos of Cooper using his iPhone’s front-facing camera. “I’m sitting there incredulous that he thinks I don’t see him … and he’s still taking the pictures,” Cooper said. “Normally I would just be like, ‘We’re not going to win this one,’ but I’ve lately become emboldened.” In a surprising twist, Cooper said Olympic figure skating champion Johnny Weir was coincidently sitting next to him on the flight. “I grab the guy on the shoulder, and I said something to the effect of, ‘B—h, what the f— are you doing?’” Cooper said to a shocked Griffin. Despite his burst of boldness, the CNN anchor seemed embarrassed by his surprising reaction. “It was one of those things, as soon as I said it, I was like, ‘I can’t believe I said this to this guy,’” he concluded. Don’t take his sweetness for weakness. Image via Bravo Source

‘Catching Fire’ Countdown: What To Watch While You Wait

With the ‘Hunger Games’ sequel more than a year away, here’s where you can catch its stars in the meantime. By Amy Wilkinson Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Lionsgate November 23, 2013, is just a year and a half away, but it might as well be a lifetime from now considering how antsy we are to feast on ” The Hunger Games ” sequel ” Catching Fire .” Progress is no doubt beginning on the follow-up (director Francis Lawrence was confirmed last week by Lionsgate), but there’s still much to be done before the film is big-screen ready for next, next Thanksgiving. In the meantime, we’ll pass the torturous days and months by gripping our Peeta pillow extra tight and gorging on the stars’ slew of interim offerings—Jennifer Lawrence and her Panem peeps are in-demand actors, after all! Here’s your guide to the actors’ upcoming projects: Jennifer Lawrence If only Lawrence could swipe Katniss’ bow and arrow for use in her horror flick ” The House at the End of the Street ,” out September 21. Lawrence plays a teen who moves next door to a home where a grisly murder took place. She befriends the surviving son and, well, things don’t go so well for her after that. Two months later, Lawrence will appear alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in the big-screen adaptation of Matthew Quick’s novel ” The Silver Linings Playbook .” She reportedly plays a widow trying to seduce Cooper’s character, who has recently been released from a mental institution. The Cooper coupling will continue with the period drama ” Serena ” (a role originally intended for Angelina Jolie), after the thriller ” Devil You Know ” makes its debut. Josh Hutcherson After bonding with Liam on the set of “The Hunger Games,” Hutcherson will star alongside the other Hemsworth brother in the November 21 release “Red Dawn,” which finds a group of teenagers trying to protect their town from invading North Korean soldiers. The baker’s son has a couple of other projects in the pipeline (neither of which have official release dates), but keep an eye out for “7 Days in Havana” and “The Forger.” Liam Hemsworth The younger Hemsworth will flex his action muscles throughout the rest of 2012 and into the new year. First up is ” AWOL ” (scheduled for release sometime this year), which follows a Vietnam soldier who defects to win back the love of his life. The film co-stars Teresa Palmer, Aimee Teegarden and Chris Lowell. If that doesn’t sound harrowing enough, Hemsworth will team up with every action star ever (read: Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris) for the splashy sequel “The Expendables 2,” out August 17. His list of in-the-works flicks also includes “Paranoia,” “Timeless” and “Arabian Nights.” Elizabeth Banks Fans won’t have to wait long to see Elizabeth Banks grace the silver screen once again. The bubbly blond dons a pregnancy belly for next week’s ” What to Expect When You’re Expecting ,” based on the iconic self-help book. (That woman loves her some adaptations, huh?) Shortly after (June 29, to be exact), Banks will portray long-lost sister to Chris Pine, who must find his secret sibling to deliver a $150,000 inheritance in the film ” People Like Us .” Woody Harrelson The word “eclectic” comes to mind when summing up Woody Harrelson’s CV — and it’s not an ill-advised adjective to describe his list of upcoming projects either. ” Seven Psychopaths ,” out in limited release November 2, follows a struggling screenwriter who gets caught up in the criminal underworld after his weird friend kidnaps a mobster’s dog. Then there’s 2013’s ” Now You See Me ,” in which a group of illusionists pull heists as part of their act and give the spoils to their audiences. (Uh, do you guys need extras?) The January release co-stars Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman. Which of “The Hunger Games” stars’ other upcoming projects are you excited about? Joel Silver Free to Good Home

Well, not free free, but still: Hollywood superproducer Joel Silver is looking for a new studio home for his Silver Pictures operation, with which Warner Bros. will officially part ways at the end of 2012. The separation marks the close of a 25-year relationship that yielded blockbuster franchises from Lethal Weapon to The Matrix to Sherlock Holmes — and more than a few shouting matches, outstanding loans and other troubling legacies. Nikki Finke has the juicy details at Deadline, largely focusing on the ongoing battles between Silver and Warner Bros. boss Jeff Robinov: Robinov used his own surrogates to make Silver aware that the studio was about to “address the economics” of his Warner Bros. deal if — and that was a big “if” — it was renewed at the end of the year. Which Silver correctly interpreted as meaning a drastic reduction in his already greatly reduced contract terms even though the studio had not yet presented any details. Robinov counted on Silver imploding, which is exactly what happened. It’s well known in Hollywood that the lavish-living Silver has relied on a longstanding series of loans from Warner Bros. by taking advances against the money due him on his movies. Once he leaves Warner Bros., Silver must repay those loans. Will another studio be willing to let him borrow in an arrangement which Silver’s lawyer Bert Fields once described as “a running account between them”? Yikes. Finke suggests Universal as a possible fit, which is as good a guess as any with Silver pal Ron Meyer (whose daughter also works for Silver) running the ship. Or maybe not! Anyone out there need a 59-year-old terror to watch your lot and spend your money? Suggestions welcome… [ Deadline ]

‘Titanic’ Looks ‘Spectacular’ In 3-D, James Cameron Says

Film’s 3-D conversion ‘takes it to a whole different level,’ director tells MTV News at U.K. premiere of re-release. By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Vicky Nwosu-Hope James Cameron and his wife at the “Titanic 3D” premiere Photo: Getty Images Nearly 15 years after “Titanic” became the biggest movie ever to grace the silver screen, director James Cameron has expanded his blockbuster into the third dimension. On April 4, “Titanic” sets sail in 3-D after a painstaking conversion that Cameron believes enhances the picture’s overall effect. MTV News spoke with the director in London, on the red carpet for the U.K. premiere of the re-release, which hits theaters days before the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking. “It’s really a dream come true to get this film back into cinema because it just has a whole different effect on people when they take three hours out of their life to just sit and have the unbroken experience and let the story take them along,” Cameron said. “It can be quite a profoundly emotional experience, and you’re not going to get that watching it on video. The 3-D just enhances the whole thing. It takes it to a whole different level. ” Cameron decided to begin the process in 2005, while he was prepping his next ambitious project, “Avatar.” “I was pretty convinced at that time that 3-D was really going to transform the cinema experience. I wanted cinema owners, the exhibitors, to embrace the conversion to digital projection, so that there’d be a place to show 3-D movies,” Cameron said. “I was thinking of ‘Avatar,’ but I was also saying, ‘Look, we can do films like “Titanic.” We can take “Jaws,” “Star Wars,” whatever your favorite movies are, we can convert them to 3-D and give them a whole new life.’ So we started doing test to see what a conversion of ‘Titanic’ would look like. We did a minute and a half of it, and it looked spectacular. ” The 3-D re-release offered Cameron the opportunity to reflect on what made “Titanic” a worldwide sensation. Cameron said he feels that it didn’t have everything to do with the movie’s young star Leonardo DiCaprio . “Women could relate to it, not just because of the Leo-mania thing, but because a lot of young women struggle with the sense of identity in societal expectation. The character of Rose was really written very much about those ideas,” Cameron said. “I think it was a simplification after the fact that [DiCaprio] is why women were so attracted to the movie.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Titanic.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Bodies Of 2 Women Found In Detroit Found Inside Shallow Grave: Suspects And Report [Video]

People are-out-there: Following an intense search for two women from Hamtramck, the bodies of two women have been found in a shallow grave in Detroit. Police believe they may be Abreeya Brown and Ashley Conaway. Click on the video player to hear Ron Savage’s live report from the scene. 18-year-old Abreeya Brown was abducted at gunpoint in late February along with her best friend and housemate, 22-year-old Ashley Conaway, right in front of their home on Andrus in Hamtramck. They had just returned from a restaurant when two men came after them. One of them was allegedly Conaway’s ex-boyfriend, 26-year-old Brandon Cain. “She ran to go to get into the house. She’s banging at the door. They ran and snatched her off the porch and put them in the trunk of the car,” Brown explained. Abreeya’s stepfather grabbed his gun and started shooting at the kidnappers. “Luckily he had that gun. He said they were shooting at him and he was shooting at them,” Brown remarked. “Her purse was in the middle of the street, but the girls were gone and so were the two men that he had exchanged gunfire with,” said Hamtramck Police Detective Prima Brennan. The men took off with the young women stuffed in the trunk of their silver car. Terrified, the women texted Ashley’s sister. “‘They got us,’” she said as she read us a text message. “The next text says ‘help.’” “Those text messages ceased around 10:26 last night, and we haven’t heard from them since, so obviously time is of the essence,” the detective told us. Police say in early February in Detroit, Cain had tried to shoot Ashley and Abreeya after Ashley broke up with him. “He told them if you pull off, we’re going to spray the car, and that’s what he did,” said Lisa Howard, Abreeya’s aunt. “He grazed Ashley in the head.” The two women went to police, and Cain may have gone into hiding. The family says Cain was facing attempted murder charges and tried to bribe the women not to testify against him, offering them $5,000. “He said, ‘If you don’t testify, I’ll give you this bread. Take this bread and let’s squash this.’ She said, ‘No, you tried to kill me.’” Early Wednesday, police had named 34-year-old Andre Todd-Douglas as a person of interest in the case. He turned himself in. He’s wanted in connected with the shooting in Detroit in early February, not the kidnapping in Hamtramck Tuesday night. As for Cain, he’s a parole absconder with a history of feeling police, receiving and concealing stolen property — a motor vehicle — and assault with great bodily harm. It’s believed he’s the dangerous felon who has Ashley and Abreeya. 24-year-old Brian Christopher Lee is believed to be the other man who was at that home in Hamtramck when all of this went down Tuesday night. Charges could come as early as next week. Image MyFoxDetroit Source

Odd Future head reveals on ‘RapFix Live’ that MellowHype’s ’50’ is on the production schedule. By Rob Markman Tyler, The Creator Photo: MTV News There is no video director in the game quite like Tyler, the Creator . As Wolf Haley, the Odd Future head has already put out a number of memorable vids, including his critically acclaimed “Yonkers,” which helped him win a VMA in 2011. Most recently, Wolf directed and dropped two videos off OFWGKTA’s new album, The OF Tape, Vol. 2 — “Rella” and “NY (Ned Flander)” — and he’s now debating which track he should shoot next. “I kinda wanna do ‘Analog 2′ for sure, but the MellowHype ’50’ song, I have an idea for that that would be awesome,” Tyler said when he and the rest of the OF crew appeared on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live.” “That song, just g–damn, that song’s crazy.” “Analog 2” is a Frank Ocean- and Syd the Kid-assisted sequel to the original track which appeared on Tyler’s Goblin album last year — well, kind of. “I didn’t go in to make a sequel for a song, I just went in to make a song and I didn’t have a name for it and just called it that,” Tyler said. “That wasn’t intentional to be part two, I just called it that because I couldn’t come up with another name and I was lazy.” There are some distinct similarities between the two songs, however. On “Analog 2,” Frank Ocean lovingly sings, “Could you can meet by the lake,” echoing the words that Tyler utters on the hook of the original “Analog.” “It wasn’t that I was gonna make I part two to this, nah, it was just not being creative,” Tyler insisted. Wolf wouldn’t give up any details on his video treatments, though, saying he had to protect his ideas. “See, I can’t tell you. I don’t tell my business like that son,” he said. “I might say some sh–, then some n—a might steal that idea, put that sh– out and then I’m f—ed.” What should be the next video from Odd Future’s The OF Tape, Vol. 2 ?
