Mark Cuban is not backing down. Speaking to Inc. magazine about the racist comment made by Donald Sterling over the past few weeks, along with the decision by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to ban the 80-year old for life , the Dallas Mavericks owner said the league is setting a dangerous precedent. Does it really want to take action against executives for their words and thoughts? “We’re all prejudiced in one way or another,” Cuban said. “If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it’s late at night, I’m walking to the other side of the street. “And if on that side of the street, there’s a guy that has tattoos all over his face – white guy, bald head, tattoos everywhere – I’m walking back to the other side of the street. ” The Shark Tank star continued: “And the list goes on of stereotypes that we all live up to and are fearful of. So in my businesses, I try not to be hypocritical. I know that I’m not perfect. I know that I live in a glass house, and it’s not appropriate for me to throw stones.” Not long after making these comments, Cuban realized the mistake he made in using the hoodie example, considering Florida teenager Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by George Zimmerman in 2012. Zimmerman was found not guilty of murder after becoming suspicious of Martin – who was walking in his neighborhood while wearing a hooded sweatshirt – and then shooting him during a scuffle. “P/1: In hindsight I should have used different examples. I didn’t consider the Trayvon Martin family, and I apologize to them for that,” Cuban Tweeted last night. But aside from that apology, Cuban said he stands bu the “words and substance of the interview.” “I think that helping people improve their lives, helping people engage with people they may fear or may not understand,” he wrote. “And helping people realize that while we all may have our prejudices and bigotries.” Concluded the billionaire: “we have to learn that it’s an issue that we have to control, that it’s part of my responsibility as an entrepreneur to try to solve it.”

Actor Matt Bomer came out as gay in February of 2012 and in his announcement, he expressed his gratitude to his boyfriend, Simon Halls. Very few were surprised by Bomer’s coming out as he made little effort to hide his relationship with Halls. The revelation Bomer made today, however, was quite unexpected: Turns out Matt and Simon have been married for three years! Bomer dropped that bombshell in an interview with Details magazine to promote his upcoming film The Normal Heart . No word yet on why Bomer downgraded his relationship status when he first came out while giving a speech at a charity event, but we’re guessing that it made for an awkward ride home. Matt and Simon were already raising three kids together at the time (six-year-old twins and an eight-year-old), so it probably wouldn’t have blown anyone’s mind if Matt flashed a ring, but for whatever reason, the actor held off. Garth Ancier, an accomplished TV producer who Michael Egan alleges raped him, adamantly denies involvement in the bombshell Hollywood scandal. Ancier’s attorney tells TMZ in a statement following the lawsuit filed this week : “All of the allegations made by [ Michael Egan ] against Garth Ancier are demonstrably untrue, and we are confident the courts will agree when the evidence is presented.” “As just one of many examples, Mr. Ancier has never even visited the estate in Hawaii where the plaintiff claims to have encountered him,” the attorney adds. “Mr. Ancier is grateful to his friends, family and colleagues for their support.” Egan has sued Ancier, as well as X-Men director Bryan Singer and Hollywood moguls David Neuman and Gary Goddard, claiming they sexually abused him. At the time, he was a 15-year-old aspiring actor at Hollywood parties. Egan claims Ancier abused him numerous times by sodomizing him, forcing oral sex and fondling him at an Encino estate when Egan was just 15. Egan also says Ancier sexually abused him in Hawaii two years later. He claims he tried to involve the police regarding the issue but nothing came of it. Daniel Franzese has come out as gay. The actor, best known for his role as Damian in the beloved comedy Mean Girls, made the announcement this week via a moving letter to that fictional high school student. “You became an iconic character that people looked up to; I wished I’d had you as a role model when I was younger,” Franzese wrote via Indie Wire “I might’ve been easier to be gay growing up. You WERE beautiful in every single way and words couldn’t bring you down.” On the 10-year anniversary of its release date, talk has circulated recently of a Mean Girls reunion . Franzese went on to say he was pigeonholed as someone who could only play gay and actually resented Damian for awhile. “I became celibate for a year and a half,” he wrote of the experience. “I didn’t go to any gay bars, have any flings and I lied to anyone who asked if I was gay. “I even brought a girl to the ‘Mean Girls’ premiere and kissed her on the red carpet, making her my unwitting beard. Meanwhile, I was still in the closet. Deleting tweets that asked if I was gay, scrubbing IMDB Message Boards for any indication.” Reflecting back on Damian’s positive influence, though, Franzese finally grew inspired to publicly reveal his sexuality. “My friends and family all knew the truth but now it’s time everyone does,” he wrote. “Perhaps this will help someone else. I’m not afraid anymore. Of Hollywood, the closet or mean girls.
