News, music producer (real name: Lukasz Gottwald) has been selected by producers after efforts to land Kanye West, Diddy and will.i.am fell through. He will join Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez on the 2014 panel. Luke is not a major name, of course, but neither was Simon Cowell when Idol premiered. Fox has released the first poster for The X Factor Season 3. And it looks like Simon Cowell better take cover. The fun image features this show’s creator surrounded by his three female colleagues, with Demi Lovato playfully choking Simon around the neck and new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio making their presence felt over his shoulder. “Simon thinks he’s in charge,” the poster reads. “He’d better think again.” Will you tune in for The X Factor Season 3? Simon Cowell has commented for the first time publicly about the fact that he’s going to be a first-time-dad, and says he’s nothing but proud. The music mogul tells the BBC , simply, “I’m proud to be a dad. He’s been keeping his distance from the mother of his unborn child until the drama subsides; she has settled her divorce as of last week, reportedly. As a result, he’s already pressuring her to settle it quietly and quickly. The X Factor judge may’ve been blindsided by the pregnancy just like we were, but almost immediately said that his future child will “want for nothing.” Cowell plans to gladly provide for the child, and not just financially. He plans to be a committed, involved parent with a big role in raising the child. Which begs the question of his current status with his baby mama. As for Lauren Silverman , he reportedly felt betrayed by the pregnancy revelation, but at the same time, he’s never been happier than when he’s with her. Simon is telling friends he knows the situation is “complicated,” but he’s confident it will all pass and his relationship with Lauren will endure this. First, it will have to endure her divorce from his good friend. Andrew Silverman is seeking primary custody of their son, 7, because Lauren is deficient as a parent who’s often MIA and partying with celebs, he says. He found out of her affair with Simon this year, but was stunned to see them kissing in a photo dated last summer, and how thinks Cowell is a home-wrecker . There is a prenup in place and money issues in the split are “minor.” As previously stated, Simon will make sure she and his child are set for life basically. The real issue is custody, and because Andrew feels truly humiliated and doesn’t think Lauren is a very good parent, that has the potential to get ugly. Simon Cowell has often egged on contestants to do better… but this is ridiculous! On last night’s Britain’s Got Talent finale, Richard and Adam Johnson took to the stage for a version of “The Impossible Dream” when a viola player named Natalie Holt sprung from her spot, ran in front of the brothers and fired eggs at the famous judge. And the crazy incident was caught on camera! Watch it take place around the two-minute mark now: Simon Cowell Gets Egged Holt was a contestant last season on the show and said afterward: “I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.” She should really apologize to a Hungarian group called Attraction. They took home the Britain’s Got Talent title, but not the headlines after the show.
