It’s no longer Friday, Friday, Friday. At least not on YouTube. Rebecca Black has pulled her infamous video off the website because there’s a fight over the singer’s image brewing. Said a rep for the young singer to TMZ: “We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video.” Ark Music ran the YouTube account that hosted the video, setting it up as a $2.99 rental. Black’s camp was angry over the decision and are considering legal action against the company, alleging it’s wrongfully exploiting the 13-year old’s image. Teen star channels the pop titan as Spears-penned dance tune from Gomez’s album leaks to the Net. By James Dinh Selena Gomez Photo: Jeffrey Mayer/ WireImage It’s a good thing Selena Gomez is feeling much better after her hospitalization last week because the Disney starlet has a string of gigs lined up to promote her soon-to-be-released album, When the Sun Goes Down. And while the LP doesn’t hit stores until June 28, some of the tracks have already surfaced on the Internet, including “Whiplash,” which MTV News has confirmed was co-written by Britney Spears . Gomez, who has gushed to us about her Spears fandom, shows off her best impersonation of the pop princess on “Whiplash.” The dance number begins with sonic flares and effects as the teen songstress sings about a blossoming romance. Gomez then adds a twist to the song by saying a number of phrases in a thick British accent before the pulsating chorus kicks in. “Come on and take me to the other side/ I’m gonna wait, when I look into your eyes,” she croons. “I’m so in love, I think I’m going to crash/ And get whiplash, whiplash, whiplash.” “Whiplash” was reportedly a track that failed to make the cut on Spears’ comeback album, Circus. Among the other songs leaked from When the Sun Goes Down are “That’s More Like It” and “We Own the Night.” Fans will get to see Selena doing more Britney when she tackles some of the pop star’s classic hits on her upcoming tour. Earlier this year, Gomez told MTV News that she was thinking about paying tribute to the singer with “a mash-up of some of her songs.” The Disney starlet and hard-core Britney fan revealed that she looked at Spears’ entire discography in decided what tunes to cover. “We’re gonna do a little tribute. Britney Spears launches her Femme Fatale tour on Thursday, and her team has given fans a sneak peek of the looks she’ll be showing off onstage. Costume designer Zaldy Goco spoke to “Extra” about Spears’ glittering, sexy outfits for the tour, which kicks off in Sacramento, California, with equally sexy opening act Nicki Minaj. “Well, I mean the real inspiration, of course, is Britney herself. But there’s a creative script done by the director, Jamie King, and it’s a whole thing about the femme fatale and femme fatales throughout the ages, so we have all kinds of costumes where she’s changing personas throughout the show,” he shared. “Everything is very sexy; Britney’s a very sexy girl.” The looks he shared include lots of sparkles and body-hugging designs, that include a pink latex jacket paired with a nude bodysuit to be featured in the second act of the show, a Marilyn Monroe-inspired white flowing dress, a few gladiator-inspired gold-mirrored options, pink-chrome-studded leather and denim, as well as a “Toxic”-inspired catsuit. For the finale, she wears a kimono, with an anime version of herself silkscreened on one sleeve, over a sparkling, black bodysuit that has LED lights built into it. Previously teased was a giant pair of angel wings that Spears will also wear at some point during the show. A photo was taken of the singer going to a Los Angeles-area hospital on Saturday. In it, the star looks a bit under the weather, sporting a striped tank and white jeans. The announcement came after much speculation and debate about who the fourth judge on the Fox talent show would be alongside Simon Cowell, fellow former “American Idol” panelist Paula Abdul and music-biz executive L.A. Reid. Scherzinger spoke to The Hollywood Reporter during her first tapings as an “X Factor” judge in New Jersey this week, commenting that she “tries not to read” all the stories surrounding her and Cole. As for whether she found it difficult transitioning from being one of the program’s co-hosts to a panelist, Scherzinger said, “Not at all. I’m just so happy to be a part of this show, no matter what … I was nervous.
