Since ending their engagement in 2014, Future and Ciara have gone on to elevate themselves in two separate but equally impactful ways. While Pluto put together an unprecedented mixtape run that solidified his cultural status, Ciara built a relationship with Russell Wilson and continues to craft an impressive career in music. On the latest episode of Facebook Watch’s Red Table Talk , the singer sat down with the matriarchs of the Pinkett-Smith family to explain the emotions that led to her split with Future, and how it helped her find the peace she feels today. Although Ciara doesn’t mention the rapper by name, at the episode’s 5:30 mark , she recounts the moment she realized it was time for her to leave Future.
Larissa Lima and Colt Johnson both came away with injuries after a scary, bloody fight on January 10 of this year. Only Larissa was arrested and charged. On Thursday, May 30, she attended her trial for domestic battery. That court session has now concluded. As for the verdict … there's some dispute over that. Some outlets are reporting that things didn't go too badly for Larissa, but that Thursday's hearing could still put her at risk of deportation. But we also have Larissa's statement about how the case went, and she is telling a different story. Take a look: 1. Larissa had her day in court Things did not entirely go her way, but they could have been way, way worse. 2. On Wednesday, she was asking for good luck She knew that, after her third arrest, she would need it. Larissa has a lot of fans who believe in her and want to see her succeed. 3. Colt is smiling That’s … not a great sign for Larissa, considering how the two of them feel about each other. 4. He also waxed philosophical “A chapter has ended, swept away by the whirlwind,” he writes, doing some sort of grand tour of cliches. “One door has closed but another has opened…” 5. But that’s nothing compared to how his mom is feeling Is … is Debbie trying to DAB? We’ve seen a lot of behavior from 90 Day Fiance stars, but this right here may be the most shocking. 6. There’s no love lost here Debbie is NOT a fan of Larissa, and may despise her more than Colt does. We’re sure that everyone on the planet has already made this joke, but we’re sure that they’re home celebrating with a grossly undercooked steak as we speak. View Slideshow
More bad news for R. Kelly, as the law continues to close in on the embattled singer and alleged rapist. On Thursday, prosecutors in Cook County, Illinois charged Kelly with 11 sex crimes in addition to the allegations he had previously been fighting. The charges include 4 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, 2 counts of criminal sexual assault by force, 3 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim between 13 and 16 years old, and 2 are aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Prior to today’s indictments, Kelly was already set to stand trial for a slew of other charges ranging from tax evasion to sex trafficking. One of the accusers identified by her initials in Thursday’s court filing is believed to be a previous alleged victim who has now provided new information to prosecutors. Other charges are believed to be related to previous allegations that Kelly assaulted four girls between the ages of 13 and 16. It’s unknown at this time if any of the allegations are related to a Kelly sex tape which allegedly showed the 52-year-old engaged in sex acts with multiple underage victims. While Kelly himself has yet to comment publicly, a rep for the singer says he is not concerned about today’s developments: “They are old charges. We knew they were coming and this was happening,” said Darrell Johnson. “He’s not going to jail. We don’t have the full details yet as waiting on discovery.” However, an anonymous source closely connected to the case told Radar Online today that this is the latest step forward in prosecutors’ ongoing efforts to ensure that Kelly goes to prison for a very long time. “There are two separate federal grand juries empaneled. Several victims provided testimony to those juries. Mr. Kelly, you must face justice that is long overdue,” said the source While sexual assault allegations against Kelly have been public knowledge for over a decade, public outrage reached an all-time high following the release of the 2018 documentary Surviving R. Kelly . Now, emboldened accusers have banded together to ensure that justice is served. Kelly has remained silent in the public sphere ever since his infamous interview with Gayle King did further damage to his battered public image. “Lots of things wrong when it comes to women that I apologize, but I apologized in those relationships at the time that I was in the relationship, OK?” Kelly told King before suffering a violent emotional breakdown on camera. We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available. View Slideshow: R. Kelly Addresses Sex Abuse Accusations in 19-Minute Song

Jenelle Evans has been having a tough few weeks. What an understatement, right? Her husband murdered her dog, she lost her Teen Mom 2 gig, and now we've learned that CPS has taken Kaiser and is possibly in the process of taking Ensley. It's bad. And honestly, it looks like it's only going to get worse. 1. What a Time Yeah, so Jenelle’s whole entire life has basically fallen apart in just the past few weeks. 2. Pretty Wild Which is especially impressive when you consider that it was never even that great to begin with. 3. Then vs. Now This time last month, she was floating along with her douchebag swamp monster of a husband, David Eason. She had her MTV job, full custody of Kaiser and Ensley and visitation with Jace. Life was OK. 4. Ugh Then David beat and killed her French bulldog puppy, Nugget. And after that, everything pretty much went all to hell. 5. Nice Try She sold some statements about how she was considering divorcing David for what he’d done, but just a few days later she was back home, pretending like everything was normal. 6. Not So Much It wasn’t normal, though. Not even a little bit. View Slideshow
These days, with everyone & everything being seen on the internet — you really gotta watch what you’re sharing to the world. But you all know that. Ariana Grande should also know that — though it seems she recently slipped up because she is now being sued after sharing images of herself to Instagram … that technically didn’t belong to her? That’s right — the “Sweetener” singer is in some legal hot water after posting images to her social media page. Something that she does almost daily. And while 3 million of the pop star’s fans showed the photo lots of love, her legal team wasn’t too impressed. In court documents obtainted by E! News, a paparazzi photographer Robert Barbera is suing the singer claiming copyright infringement. According to Robert, Ari publicized photographs on her Instagram page that he captured without licensing. In addition, the New York based photog claims that she didn’t have his “permission or consent to publish the photographs.” He is now looking for monetary relief, naturally, from the copyright infringement, attorney fees and costs, falsifying copyright management, statutory damages up to $25,000 for each violation. In the photos, the Grammy winner is carying a see-through bag with the word “Sweetener” on it as she was exiting a building. Two of the photos were shared to Grande’s official IG account back in August of 2018, the day her fourth studio album “Sweeterner” was released. “Happy sweetener day,” she wrote in the caption. The original post has since been deleted, though an edited version currently remains on her account promoting her merch. E! has reached out to Ari’s team for comments, but has yet to hear back. As fans of the “thank u, next singer” are well aware — she is often times very good at communcating with her followers via her social media accounts. Whether she is opening up about a recent brain scan , or just posing for selfies, the 25-year-old is all about keeping her 154 million followers up-to-date on her life. For the most part, that is. We will just have to stand by to see if she is willing to open up about her (totally underdanstandable) photo fail with her fellow Arianators. Grande, however, is not the first celeb to be scolded for posting a paparazzi photo to their social media pages. In January, model Gigi Hadid found herself embroiled in a lawsuit (again!) with a photo agency after posting a picture they had taken of her to her 44 million Insta followers. Kim Kardashian West, Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, and Jessica Simposn have also been targeted by agencies for re-using photos. Of themselves. Paparazzi members have been suffering (obviously) as the rise of social media has changed the way we look at the rich and famous. Many celebs use the platform to take control of their own images and open up personally with their fans, devaluing the tabloid images. Besides, when did these entertainers give these agencies permission or consent to snap photos of them walking to their car or entering a building? It seems quite ironic and a tad unfair, but at the end of the day as long as the photos of the public figures are taken in a public place, it is totally legal. The paparazzi built an industry around capturing candid photos of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but now that’s going away. So it seems they’re turning to an additional source of revenue — suing those stars for posting their pics to Instagram. What has the world come to, really?
