Young Jeezy is in serious trouble with the law. The rapper was arrested in Atlanta on Friday on charges of battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats… against his own son. Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that the alleged incident took place in September of 2012 and that Jeezy turned himself in last week after a grand jury warrant for each charge was issued. The legal documents say Jeezy went all Chris Brown on his teenage child, getting into a brawl with the boy in a bathroom; throwing him through a glass shower door; punching him in the face; and continuing to beat on him in the bedroom. Based on the incident report, Jeezy’s son tried to escape but the artist bodyguard blocked the stairwell. Jeezy is also accused of telling the teenager “I will put a bullet in your head right now” and “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.” “We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately,” says Jeezy’s attorney. “At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.” The musician is currently out on bond.

But despite being a very recent, two-time mother, Jessica still gets flak from weight critics. Not that she cares anymore. “I never listen to it, no matter who the press talks about when they’re pregnant. It’s ridiculous and unfair,” she says, echoing what Kim Kardashian has said on the topic. “I think any woman who is pregnant and creating a life is pretty much entitled to eat whatever she wants as long as she’s healthy. I wasn’t going to let the media take away from what was one of the happiest times in my life.”
Ke$ha is in need of professional assistance. The glittery singer checked into a rehab facility on January 3 and will remain there for 30 days. In a statement, she admitted to having an eating disorder. “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice,” the singer tells Us Weekly “I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.” Ke$ha is reportedly a temporary resident of Timberline Knolls rehab center, the same facility in Illinois that Demi Lovato checked into back in 2010. Just a few days ago, on January 1, Ke$ha debuted her ” Dirty Love ” music video and included with it a Tweet that read: “Cheers to this year being the best year ever. 2014 gon be the year of truth and freedom.” We tip our hat to Ke$ha for admitting she has a problem and we send her the best of luck in getting better.
Miley Cyrus is hitting back after some inflammatory quotes attributed to her were published by Perez Hilton, denying she said anything about Beyonce. The mohawked, tattooed singer covers the March issue of LOVE , and in it, according to Perez, she claimed that she is ready to fill Bey’s shoes. “Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she’s been out for such a long time,” Miley allegedly said. “People are always looking for new blood.” “That’s what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best.” “As Beyonce grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now.” “I’m the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right, you know? I’m just the total package, you know?” “All things must start and end and I hope to have the same success as other icons in the game when my run is over. But for now, my run is just starting.” Wow. This would be a potentially awesome celebrity feud if Miley Cyrus really said that, but she’s adamant she did not – and she’s far from happy. Miley ranted on Twitter, putting the fake quote generator on notice: “That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got ‘the looks and the curves I’m just better!’ Bahahahhaha. “How are people allowed to make up s–t & then put quotes around it saying I said that s–t! WTF!!?!” “Don’t worry. getting 2 the bottom of this s–t. making the liar retract the statement. U can cause ALOT of drama but NOT between me & B!” “Thank god I just woke up from this nightmare.” Perez Hilton has not responded to being put on blast, but the alleged quotes aren’t on the LOVE website and the issue itself won’t be out until February. Clearly the Beyonce quotes didn’t originate from Miley, although it’s not clear if Perez BS’d them himself or if he ganked them off another gossip site. It’s possible this was meant to be a goof and some sites took it seriously, or it could’ve been false story deliberately fed to some celebrity outlets. Either way, the singer is not impressed by the stunt. As for the Miley Cyrus bisexual rumors, she hasn’t called those out yet, so … just saying.
Unlucky in love star Taylor Swift is reportedly in a familiar romantic place – alone – after being spurned by her latest crush, British actor Douglas Booth. Swift, 24, was in hot pursuit of Booth after spotting the hot Romeo and Juliet star, 21, at a party at the West Hollywood Soho House in November. “Taylor kept on making an effort to flirt with Douglas, but he gave her the cold shoulder and was extremely dismissive towards her,” an insider dished. Swift was not taking no for an answer, but Booth was not offering yes. “She would go get a drink and then approach him; she would chat with [actress and Swift bestie] Hailee Steinfeld and then she’d re-approach him.” “It was all very funny for those of us watching.” Funny to watch her strike out? That’s a little harsh, N.Y. Daily News insider. But it was to no avail, in any case, as Booth gave her the cold shoulder . According to witnesses, the singer looked dejected at his lack of interest and was overheard in the ladies’ room telling Steinfeld about her disappointment. “Taylor and Hailee were chatting about Douglas while they all touched up their makeup,” the source says, noting that Swift took it pretty badly. “Taylor was whining and complaining about his aloofness toward her. She looked like an animal circling its prey, when she tried to get his attention.” Something changed his mind, because in the following weeks, the two stars were seen together London … only for him to brush her off again. “Doug is a young guy and is enjoying the single life,” says a pal. “He’s quite taken aback about how keen Taylor was … he just wants to be friends.” Booth may not be ready for a serious relationship at this point in his life and career, or concerned about winding up in the lyrics of the next Swift hit. Either way, between this and her Rhode Island neighbors hating on her for renovating the seawall outside her mansion, it’s been a rough week for TS. Not everybody loves Taylor Swift, at least in Rhode Island. Neighbors are reportedly upset over work she’s having done on the seawall outside of her mansion. The 24-year-old is rebuilding a giant rock wall outside of her beachfront Westerly, R.I., estate, which some observers say will now encroach on a public beach. An opinion column in The Day (New London, Conn.) claims the construction was being done on a “public” beach without a single permit from the town. Taylor Swift Angers Neighbors With Sea Wall Construction Spokeswoman Laura Dwyer of the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council begs to differ, however, defending the singer’s actions. Dwyer tells the The Westerly Sun (R.I.) that the “revetment repair” is kosher, will not hamper beach access and that proper permits were obtained. “It all started during [Hurricane] Sandy,” Dwyer explained of the work being done at Taylor’s residence. “The wall sustained damage during Sandy.” Permits were issued to Swift for repairs on the wall (replacing unsafe rocks and resettling existing rocks), which the CRMC confirms is “a permitted activity.” Nor will this somehow block Westerly’s East Beach. “There must be access at all times [during and after construction],” Dwyer said. “We made sure of that.” Westerly’s Director of Planning, Code Enforcement and Grant Administration, Amy Grzybowski, confirmed that town officials are aware of the construction. This comes on the heels of neighbors griping about Swift with comments like, “It was bad enough when she moved in, but to ruin a part of the town for all of us?” “This is a whole new level of hate.” A new level of HATE, people. Surfers in the area also claim construction at Taylor’s mansion is messing with the wave break in Westerly, in addition to taking away beach access. Taylor’s camp is adamant that the proper permits have been obtained and that the town actually asked her to move some rocks back to her property line. In any case, Swift’s fans (like Laney Brown ), friends (like Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato on FaceTime ) and other neighbors seem to like her more. She was just named 2013 Tennessean of the Year. Doesn’t look like she’ll take home 2014 Rhode Islander of the Year … those grouchy New Englanders.

Britney Spears loves sex, but she feels like an old lady in the bedroom sometimes, or so the singer claims in her new documentary, “I Am Britney Jean.” A sexual dynamo who used every ounce of appeal in her arsenal to sell 50 million records, Britney’s still got it nowadays … even if she’s not feelin’ it. Spears confessed her love of boning in ” I Am Britney Jean ,” saying, “I love sex. I think sex is great … but I feel a little different about it now that I’m older.” “Sometimes I feel like I’m 20 and then sometimes I feel like I’m 50.” It’s an interesting statement, considering Britney has been outspoken about wanting to tone it down, despite admitting ” a lot of sex goes into what I do .” She recently said she’s being pushed too far in music videos for “Work Bitch” and other songs, and implied that she wants to set a better example for her kids. On the flip side … she still takes part on the aforementioned videos. in the documentary, she reiterated that she still loves to do the deed, but insinuated again that her most sexually charged concert days are behind her. Again, we’re not sure how serious that comment by Britney is. While we likely won’t see her make out with Madonna or gyrate half-naked during her Vegas residency, her music and music videos are as racy as ever. Is she sending mixed signals?
