Gretchen Rossi Ordered to Court, Must Pay Jay Photoglou

Gretchen Rossi was almost placed in handcuffs yesterday, but not for the reasons this dirty Real Housewife probably would like. After failing Rossi failed show up for a court appearance on Thursday, a judge issued a bench warrant for her arrest. However, he held it for a week and ordered the reality star to show up on Thursday, April 29. From what does this mess stem? Rossi was scheduled to be in court for a debtor examination related to money she owes ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglou. The cash results from a lawsuit she filed against him that was thrown out. Since then, Photoglou has sued the Real Housewife of Orange County for slander. A judge awarded Jay $18,900 and Photoglou wants to collect. “A lawyer from the firm Gretchen hired showed up in court and asked for a continuance because Gretchen’s lawyer was unavailable,” said Jay’s lawyer, Orlando Castano Jr. “Gretchen didn’t show up and the judge then issued a bench warrant for her arrest, holding it to give them the opportunity for her to come to court. She must show up next Thursday at 8:30 a.m.”

Maybe her money problems are even worse than we thought. Lindsay Lohan has been named a suspect in the theft of a $35,000 Rolex, officials say. The watch belongs to one of her “friends,” who accidentally left it at Lindsay’s earlier this year and never got it back. Better try the local pawn shop! No, but seriously, the police say they have have photographic evidence which could prove Lindsay Lohan knows exactly where the Rolex ended up.

Jennifer Lopez Insists She’s Not A Diva

Jennifer Lopez says she doesn’t want to be known as a diva. The 40-year-old star appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to promote her new film The Back-Up Plan . During the interview J-Lo insisted she wasn’t a diva. “I think people use it in a negative way and I don’t appreciate it because I’m a hard worker.” Asked by Leno if she ever does housework, she insisted she did. “I make my own bed,” she said. “You can ask my sister, she’s in the back – I’m very defensive about it.”

Lindsay Lohan’s Reaction To Her Father’s Visit With Cops

Michael Lohan visited his younger daughter Ali at Lindsay Lohan’s house in Los Angeles. He brought with him the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. They checked the house and interviewed Ali. Micheal was concerned about Ali’s welfare while living with her sister. The officers left and determined that Ali is doing well and there was no danger at all staying with the young actress. Lindsay Lohan Tweeted that the visit was definitely not welcome. She has no choice but to make it public because of her sister’s safety. She described that her ex-dad just walked into her apartment like the devil’s advocate with officers. In addition, Lohan revealed some statements that her father has never paid any child support, and is now about to marry a tabloid writer. She even said that her dad can barely spell his own name due to his “brain” that has been severely affected due to his drug use. ‘Hills’ Buzz Moment #7: Holly Gets Tipsy At Speidi’s Rehearsal Dinner

By Jocelyn Vena Holly Montag on “The Hills” Photo: MTV It didn’t take long before Heidi Montag’s sister, Holly, and then-boyfriend Spencer Pratt were butting heads. Soon after Holly moved to “The Hills,” the future in-laws were bickering. Although, to be fair, there have been very few people in the history of the show who haven’t butted heads with Spencer. And as the final season gears up for its Tuesday night premiere, Holly lands our #7 most buzzed-about “Hills” moment. Holly’s hostility toward Spencer and her jealousy of Heidi really emerged at the couple’s wedding rehearsal dinner last April. Sure, the maid of honor was willing to give Spencer some backhanded props in her speech, as she said of him, “Since day one, Spencer treated me like I was his sister. You need somebody that’s going to call you out on your crap, and I’m so thankful to have our families unite.” But it was what happened next that had everyone chatting the next day. As it turns out, Holly wasn’t actually feeling grateful. After throwing food and accidentally staining Heidi’s very expensive handbag, Holly and Spencer came to verbal blows, with each one accusing the other of being rude. Holly’s true feelings were revealed when she turned to her mom and proclaimed (well, slurred), “I didn’t know we were dining with the king and queen!” Most viewers suspected Holly could blame it on the alcohol, and ultimately, they weren’t wrong. Months after the wedding, Montag spoke to MTV News about the now-infamous incident and had a laugh at her own expense. “I did not get tipsy. … All right, I was completely blacked out,” she joked. “I was on a seven-day bender. Family of Monica Beresford-Redman Seeks Answers, Justice

As Mexican authorities continue to gather evdence against Bruce Beresford-Redman in the investigation of his wife’s murder , the family of Monica Beresford-Redman has left to collect her body. They’re also seeking answers. “We want the person that murdered my sister,” Jeane Burgos, Monica’s sister, told ABC News. “I want this person in jail to pay for the rest of his life for what he did.” Burgos’ sister, Carla, has implicated Joy Pierce as Bruce’s mistress. She says she’s “sure” that Bruce killed her sister. “I am bleeding inside, because I can’t even imagine that I’m not going to have her with me,” Jeane said to CBS News. “I’m not going to sleep, and I’m not going to sit down until I bring justice to her life… It was a brutal murder that was committed against my sister.” The tragic death of Monica Beresford-Redman has become tabloid fodder for The National Enquirer and other gossip rags. Sources say the family has not yet decided where Monica will be laid to rest; either in Rio de Janeiro, where she was born, or in L.A., where she had lived since 1990.

Mo’Nique’s Brother Makes An Apology For Sexually Abusing His Sister

The brother of Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he had repetitively molested his younger sister starting when she was just 7 years old. Gerald Imes asked for an apology on The Oprah Winfrey show. He admitted that he betrayed and broken everybody’s trust. He blamed the sexual abuse that had happened for a period of two years. He also confessed that at the age of 11, he already started using cocaine, heroin and alcohol. He used these drugs to hide his own pain and fears. However, it also allowed him to hurt his sister. Imes was charged to 12 years imprisonment for molesting another girl. Despite the fact that he had ruined Mo’Nique’s life, he still wants to repair his relationship with her and move forward. Mo’Nique has recently won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for the film “Precious”. She had spoken publicly about the abuse she experienced at the hand of her own brother. The actress declined to be involved in Imes’ interview or respond to his apology. Gerald Imes, Mo’Nique’s “monster” older brother, has come clean. After decades of denying allegations, Imes finally owned up to horrific claims made by Mo’Nique – that he was her childhood molester – to Oprah Winfrey. “I’m here today to first acknowledge what I’ve been denial for for 37 years, and that is I did assault and inappropriately touch my sister in manners that were uncomfortable for her,” he said. “And for that, I apologize .” “I’m humbly sorry that those actions had taken place.” Mo’Nique’s parents also appeared on the show, although the Precious star herself did not participate. She did give her blessing for the sit-down to take place, saying she hoped her family’s story would help other victims of abuse. Gerald Imes, Mo’Nique’s older brother, has come clean . As for Gerald Imes, he confirmed Mo’Nique’s timeline: Abusing her between ages 7-11. Mo’Nique did not tell her parents until she was 15, and only di so then after a violent incident occurred that neither she nor Imes will discuss. Imes says he only recently realized how wrong he was. “I accepted it as being the norm,” he said, describing his own history with drug and sexual abuse. “The drugs weren’t an excuse. They just allowed me and afforded me the opportunity to do the things in the back of my mind.” Hauntingly, he adds: “Most of the time, the abuse I did with my sister took place while she was asleep [or] the appearance that she was asleep.” He said his decision to come forward was watching his sister’s Academy Award-winning performance in Precious and the all-too-familiar storyline. Later in life, Imes was convicted of molesting someone and sentenced to 12 years in prison. Mo’Nique will not allow him around her twin sons. As for why Gerald chose now to come forward, he hopes it will help rekindle his relationship with his sister: “I can only hope by coming forth today, since I couldn’t reach out to her, that … somehow… we can come back together.” “I’m sorry that it happened. I am so sorry that it happened to you, and that I was the perpetrator, the one that did it to you. However, I understand your pain. I, too, was there. Now let’s share this together and move on.'”
