Charlie Sheen Is Back To Two and a Half Men

Charlie Harper is now returning to Two and a Half Men. The actor has agreed to return to the sitcom for two more years after publicly considering leaving the show. Sheen said in a statement “To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights.” His contract has expired last month and he also recently denied the reports regarding his salary negotiations for a new contract. Many viewers are expecting the CBS to officially announce Sheen and the show’s return just before unveiling its fall lineup to the advertisers t his Wednesday. There’s a bit of cognitive dissonance that happens when you watch Imogen Poots in Solitary Man : she’s utterly convincing as a confident Manhattan teenager who sexually entangles herself with the boyfriend (Michael Douglas) of her wealthy mother (Mary-Louise Parker), but with a name like “Imogen Poots,” there’s no way she’s actually American. In fact, the 20-year-old Poots is British and, until now, best known for playing one of the young leads in 28 Weeks Later . That should change after the one-two-three punch Poots has coming in Solitary Man , the Cannes drama Chatroom , and the Cary Fukunaga-directed Jane Eyre , where she plays rival to Mia Wasikowska. As Solitary Man sees release this week, Poots called up Movieline to discuss the sitcom that helped her with an American accent, the perils of technology, and the pleasures of working twice opposite Michael Fassbender.

Charlie Sheen Releases Statement, Teases Two and a Half Men Departure

With domestic abuse charges hanging over his head and his career, Charlie Sheen films the final episode of Two and a Half Men ‘s seventh season tonight. Might it be the final episode Sheen ever shoots for the sitcom? Yes, if you believe the actor’s recently-released statement. With his contract about to expire, Sheen wrote to People today and said: “Much speculation and rumor has arisen from my current status surrounding Two and a Half Men .” Will you miss Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men? “All of the numbers reported in the press are false. Claims from ‘inside sources’ regarding offers from the studio as well as my salary, on their best day, are without merit. Approaching the start of the current season and as far back as June ‘09, I submitted my terms for season eight to Warner Bros. and CBS respectfully. “Both parties have known the score for over a year. In no way, has this been a hasty or negligent eleventh hour surprise. I offer this information out of love and respect to my crew, my on-set family, my writers, executive staff, as well as my real family, my dear friends and my loyal fans. We tape the final episode of the season this evening. “If tonight’s show is the end for me as Charlie Harper, so be it. Another journey has begun. I take from the experience 161 shows filled with a kaleidoscope of amazing experiences, memories, friendships and gratitude. “I remain humbly inspired. ” If Sheen does leave the sitcom, he’ll have more time to engage in threesomes .

Cocaine and Alcohol Cited for Reasons Behind Charlie Sheen Rehab

According to his rep, Charlie Sheen has entered rehab as “a preventative measure.” The associate wouldn’t elaborate on this reason and we may know why: sources say Sheen is trying to prevent a further relapse into cocaine and alcohol. RadarOnline.com claims the Two and a Half Men star has fallen back into the dangerous habits that led to a pair of previous stints in treatment centers. For the sake of his family, Sheen had no choice but to step away from his sitcom for a few weeks. “He loves his children and ultimately that’s what convinced him to get help,” an insider said . Friends say the Christmas Day confrontation that has led to charges against Sheen was fueled by a bender both he and wife Brooke Mueller were on. Each had been partaking in drugs and alcohol that night, allegedly. “But the partying didn’t stop there. He’s used coke and been drinking many, many other times since then,” the source said, even adding that Sheen got high with Mueller the night before she went into rehab . It’s unclear what the future now holds for this couple, but this much in undeniable: Two and a Half Men is incredibly lame and unfunny.
