We probably don't need to tell you that David Eason is not a good guy. He's a bigot and a shameless opportunist, and there's very good reason to believe he's guilty of child abuse. But despite his many, many flaws, as far as anyone can tell, David is not guilty of viewing, producing, or distributing child porn. So for once, the former Teen Mom 2 star's latest temper tantrum might actually be justified … 1. Bad Dad Dave David isn’t winning any Father of the Year awards anytime soon. In fact, CPS has been called to his house 20 times in less than a year. 2. Problem Parents David and his wife, Jenelle Evans, have both been accused of mistreating and neglecting their children, but the latest allegation is really a case of fans being overly sensitive. 3. Jenelle and Ensley Both David and Jenelle posted this pic on Instagram earlier this week. It was removed from the site along with another photo after several users reported it as child porn. 4. One Mad Dad “My beautiful family! Why would you stupid people report these pictures as child pornography?” David captioned the photos after he re-posted them. 5. Angry Eason “F-ck you Instagram, f-ck all of you b-tches that reported these pictures,” he continued. 6. How Did This Happen? As you’re no doubt aware, celebrities play the game of life by a different set of rules than the rest of us. Behavior that wouldn’t fly for a hot second in the world of plebes is not only condoned but celebrated when it’s perpetrated by an actor with a role in a corporate film franchise or one of the few recording artists that can still sell out a stadium. But if the #MeToo movement has taught us anything, it’s that even for the rich and powerful, there comes a time when society draws a line in the sand. Which is why the whole world is looking at Drake right now with a collective “bruh, WTF are you doing?” expression. As you may have heard, the rapper maintains a close friendship with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. Brown opened up about her close relationship with the 31-year-old rapper at the 2018 Emmys last week, and we imagine every single viewers’ face simultaneously contorted into a perfect replica of the “yikes” emoji. Millie Bobby Brown on Drake To be clear, Millie is in no way at fault here. We imagine most 14-year-olds would leap at the chance to befriend one of their favorite recording artists. It’s Drake — and to a slightly lesser extent, Millie’s parents — who are deserving of the hard side-eye here. In order to understand how creepy this is, you need only to strip Drizzy of his celebrity status and re-examine the situation as though he were just Some Dude. If you knew nothing about Drake other than the fact that he’s a 31-year-old man who’s in the habit of routinely texting a 14-year-old girl and telling her how much he misses her, whatever shred of sympathy you might have had for the rap world’s answer to Humbert Humbert would likely go right out the window. Like most celebrities, he gets a pass on certain actions that would get him rightly shunned from civilian society. Fortunately, in 2018, powerful men no longer get away with every kind of questionable behavior. We’re not saying Drake is as bad as the worst of the #MeToo offenders, but his image as the non-threatening nice guy of the hip hop world has taken quite a few hits in recent months. As you may recall, the summer of 2018 began with the revelation that Drake has a secret son , with whom he’s barely had any contact. Drake attempted a lame explanation as to why he’s been hiding his son from the world (he was actually hiding the world from his son , the rapper explained, in full earnest-Drizzy mode), but for the most part, the public wasn’t buying his victim routine. Shortly thereafter, we learned that Drake was dating an 18-year-old fan and aspiring model. Again, not illegal — but not the sort of thing that inspires much faith in the man’s character. Now, we have Drake’s relationship with Millie. Again, it’s possible that the rapper entered this situation with the best of intentions, but to say he’s handling it poorly at this point would be to massively understate the awkwardness of how this is all playing out. On social media, Brown has attempted to diffuse the situation (see above), while Drake has kept mum, thus leaving her to twist in the wind. We can only hope dude is quietly extricating himself from the situation and gently explaining to Millie his reasons for doing so. You’ve had a very rough year, Drizzy — time to start earning some redemption.
It’s been a while since Lena Dunham has done anything to warrant the attention of us slavering hellhounds in the gossip-sphere. It could have to do with the fact that she’s adopted a more low-key lifestyle these days and turned her attention to, in her words, “pursuing slow meaningful spiritual progress.” Of course, it’s equally possible that we all simultaneously decided to stop regularly checking her social media accounts for any number of valid reasons. (Public interest in her personal life has been on the decline ever since Girls ended; she seems to google herself constantly despite being cursed with very thin skin; Lena-related gossip frequently centers around “hard pass” subject matter like vaginas crammed full of pebbles , etc.) Whatever the case, there’s less Lena in your life these days, and we don’t need a focus group to know that you’re probably okay with that. But the never-reliable Star magazine decided to dip its toe back in the Lena pond this week, and despite the high probability that this story is total BS (again, Star magazine) we decided it’s amusing enough to share with you. As you may recall, back in January, Lena and Jack Antonoff broke up after six years of dating. By all accounts, the split was mutual and amicable, but it seems Lena misses more about the relationship than just quipping “I hope you bought Anton a drink first!” every time someone said her boyfriend’s full name. An “insider” tells Star that Lena is still hung up on Jack in a big way, and her obsession is beginning to take a toll on his new relationship. “She calls Jack at least five times a day, all in the name of ‘friendship’ – and she always talks to him right before she goes to bed,” says the anonymous friend. “She’ll text him photos of her private parts at like 1 a.m. At that point, he just turns the phone off.” Not surprisingly, the source also claims that Jack’s new girlfriend, Carlotta Kohl, is less than thrilled with the situation. “Half the time she spent with him, he was on the phone with his ex!” says the tipster of a recent date between Jack and Carlotta. We figure September is a good time to get around to our New Year’s resolution of trying something new every day, so we’re actually gonna defend Lena instead of making a bunch of easy jokes at her expense. Here goes nothing: Lena Dunham is probably not sending unsolicited vadge pics to her ex-boyfriend, and the only way this source could sound more made-up is if it called the situation “steamy,” or used some other word that’s only ever been used by tabloid writers. Clearly, this couple couldn’t wait to get isht cracking while they were outdoors, in an open field in a public park, in the middle of the day, in full veiw of several kids playing Cricket and their families. We've known for quite some time that Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus nearly came to blows on two separate occasions during the taping of the most recent Teen Mom 2 reunion special. One of the altercations took place behind closed doors, and for months, we've been forced to rely on Kail and Briana's accounts of what went down in DeJesus' dressing room. Now, however, the truth is out, thanks to some shocking audio obtained by the show's producers. Things start off with Kailyn confronting Briana about comments the latter made on social media, and the situation quickly escalates from there. Tiffany Haddish may be the funniest woman on the planet. But the rising superstar shares a story in the latest issue of Glamour that is as serious and as sad as it gets: She was raped at the age of 17. The Girls Trip star shared her very personal story with the aforementioned magazine this month, tearfully explaining that she still struggles with the reality of the situation to this day. “That whole experience put me in such a messed-up place for a long time, and I ended up going to counseling,” Haddish says. Haddish said that she did report the incident shortly after it transpired, but it continues to be something that takes a heavy toll on her. It’s still something she thinks about constantly. All the star will really say about the situation at this point is that the rapist was a police cadet. She won’t really get into any other specifics, for understandable reasons, of course. However, Haddish does admit that the assault colors her personality a bit and plays a role into how she approaches the opposite sex. “I notice that men are afraid of women that are aggressive. So to protect myself I become semi-aggressive,” she says. “You hear about, ‘Tiffany always hitting on somebody,’ but that’s to keep them from hitting on me.” In that same context, Haddish tells Glamour that she has been as forceful as possible when faced with directors and producers who try to exchange acting roles for sexual favors. Yes, this really has happened to her. Just as it has happened to so many women in Hollywood. “I’ve had experiences where directors or producers are like, ‘You want this job?’ I might get real bossy and say, ‘First off, don’t nobody want to see your little dick!’ I get loud, all that,” she told Glamour. Classic Tiffany Haddish, right? Except now we comprehend a little more why the star can come across as so loud and abrasive. The result is often hilarious. But the backstory behind it is anything but. Haddish went through a divorce from William Stewart In 2013. He denied claims that he also physically abused her (in her 2017 memoir, the actress wrote that Stewart “got violent” and that Stewart “choked” her)… but Tiffany isn’t about to allow her past experiences keep her from dating and finding the right man. Which is not to say she’s spoken for at the moment. She’s very single and she’s open to mingling. It’s just… “I don’t really have time. After recent revelations that she had lapsed from her sobriety, Demi Lovato was hospitalized with a reported overdose . Though we are still learning more about the situation, it was initially reported as a heroin overdose. Some reports of what caused the overdose are conflicting, however. When the news first broke, it was unclear if she would even survive the night, and thoughts and prayers from countless millions of fans poured in. Many celebrities, friends and exes and colleagues of Demi's and even just those who are fans or familiar with her struggle with addiction, took to Twitter to shower Demi with love. Take a look: 1. It looks like more hard times are ahead for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. According to Radar Online, the Baltierras have checked into an in-patient couple-oriented therapy program in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. Catelynn has been to rehab several times over the course of the past two years, and while she's made progress with her mental health, insiders say she and Tyler both continue to struggle daily. Now, it seems they've decided that in order to make their marriage work, they'll both need to address their mental health issues with the help of professionals. Here's what we know about the situation thus far: 1. Better Days For years, Tyler and Catelynn were the most stable couple in all of the Teen Mom franchise. 2. Hard Times Sadly, a combination of difficult times, past trauma, and latent mental health issues all combined to put the Baltierras’ marriage to the test in a major way. 3. The Domino Effect Both Tyler and Catelynn have been diagnosed with various mental illnesses that are at least partially the result of their traumatic upbringings. 4. Tragedy Strikes When Catelynn suffered a miscarriage, the tragedy triggered a downward spiral that prompted her to check into rehab multiple times. 5.
