Drake Says He’s On A Remix Of Lil Wayne’s ‘I’m Single’

‘I tried to slither my way on that record,’ Young Money MC tells Mixtape Daily. By Shaheem Reid, with additional reporting by Rahman Dukes and Sway Calloway Drake and Lil Wayne Photo: MTV News The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive Holla at the champs — your boys have finally decided to get it in on Twitter, so shout us out at @shaheemreid and @mongosladenyc . Let’s have dialogue and check for exclusives. Big up to Wiz Khalifa’s army, the Taylor Gang, who have been hitting us up about the mixtape Kush and Orange Juice by @RealWizKhalifa . We got something all the Taylors will be interested in real soon. Now, down to business — we recently brought you clarified word that Lil Wayne appears on Drake’s June 15 LP Thank Me Later via the track “Miss Me.” But there’s more Wayne and Drake in the can. Drizzy sings on a remix of Wayne’s No Ceilings jam “I’m Single.” Drake was so enamored with the record, he wanted to get on the hook. That version is nestled in the Young Money vaults. “I love that song,” Drake told us earlier this week. “I love that song. 40 produced that record for Wayne. I did that a while ago. I love that song. It’s one of those songs I wish was my song. I tried to slither my way on that record. I called Tez like, ‘Tez, let me get on that hook.’ There’s a version with me on it. I don’t know if it’s gonna get out there. Music is someone else’s creation. Once it’s done, it’s hard to say I wanna be a part of it. But me and Wayne, I get excited when Wayne wants to be on one of my songs. Musically we share that. We like doing songs together. I don’t think it’s a bad thing when we do songs together. … So there’s definitely a version with me on it. But that song is amazing on its own.” As for “Miss Me,” Drake said it’s “straightforward.” “It’s a pretty straightforward [song],” Drake said. “It’s a song about being away from what you love and hoping that when you’re gone, doing you, somebody out there misses you. It goes for Wayne in his situation and it goes for me in my situation, ’cause I’m on the road for I don’t how long right now.” The video for the version of “I”m Single” that appears on No Ceilings debuts this Sunday on MTV2’s “Sucker Free Sunday” countdown and on MTV Jams as the Jam of the Week. “The thing with Wayne, if you don’t get a chance to see how hard he worked on the record and the wit and pizazz he had with it, he wants to give you that same feeling the first time you hear it,” said DJ Scoob Doo, who directed the video. “Which he does audio-wise, but him performing it for you in the studio is really what it’s about, as far as this video.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines . She insisted that Jesse James is the person to be blame with what has happened. McGee says in an interview that she’s sorry for Sandra’s embarrassment. She’s sorry that all of this is exposed to the public and she’s deeply sorry for everything. In addition, she feels bad for Sandra and she wanted to give her a heartfelt apology. ‘Jersey Shore’ Brings Seaside Heights A Fiscal Fist-Pump

‘We can’t even calculate the economic benefit,’ local business exec says. By Eric Ditzian The cast of “Jersey Shore” Photo: Scott Gries/Picture Group Seaside Heights, New Jersey has historically been a sleepy town in the winter months, its boardwalk and beaches only heating up after Memorial Day weekend begins. All that has changed since the emergence of “Jersey Shore,” MTV’s hit reality show about a group of tanned and gelled kids partying it up in the Heights. “Ever since it aired in the beginning of December, the phones have been ringing earlier and more often,” Maria Maruca, executive director of the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District, told MTV News. “Now that the show is coming back, we can’t even calculate the economic benefit.” That’s right, Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the “Jersey Shore” cast are headed back to Seaside Heights for part of season two, and the owners of hotels, restaurants, bars and more in Seaside Heights couldn’t be happier. Filming for the first season flew mostly under the radar on a national level, but the town benefitted greatly in terms of hotel stays and catering for the show’s cast and crew. Now that the show’s a hit, Maruca said Seaside Heights has been busy over the winter and is positioned for an epic summer. “There’s the curiosity factor,” she said. “Celebrities draw crowds. That’s going to give us an edge that we didn’t have before. The exposure that the show brought to Seaside Heights — when every late-night host is talking about Snooki, when Leonardo DiCaprio is talking about the show — we could never have afforded that type of media. This is more than we could ever have asked for.” Maruca hastened to add that the town remains weather-dependent and that sunny skies are hugely important to its financial bottom line. And there are, of course, those who feel the increased exposure comes with negative costs stemming from what some feel are unflattering impressions of both Italian-Americans and Seaside Heights. “There’s always people who see the glass of half empty,” Maruca said. “The show isn’t about Seaside Heights; the show is about eight individuals. It just happened to be filmed in Seaside Heights. And when you look at Seaside Heights as a backdrop, our beaches look spectacular; our boardwalk, our amusements look great.” An unexpected tourist destination has become the “Jersey Shore” house itself, with folks snapping pictures in front of what Seaside Heights business owners have come to call “the most famous garage door in America.” And then there are the bars and clubs, like Karma and Beachcomber Bar and Grill, that were featured on the show and which stand to do big business when the summer season kicks off. Maruca didn’t have exact figures for the increase in business over the winter or for what’s expected in the coming months, but expectations are running high. “The anticipation for the summer season has been heightened all around, from the tourism business to the business community,” he said. “To see the buzz and the activity is beyond exciting.” Are you excited for the next season of “Jersey Shore”? Bus Driver Molestor of the Day

So this retard bus driver was taking a retarded girl home and decided he might as well get some sex from her cuz ever since he was younger and loved the show Life Goes On, he wanted to feel a Downs Syndrome pussy….and figued she probably doesn’t have real high standards you know, cuz she’s retarded, but his whole plan of seduction backfired when she pushed him off, cuz he crossed the line of appropriate cuz she wasn’t in the mood to give up her retard pussy…even though you’d think she was in the mood based on how often she masturbated in a given hour…I used to work in a retard home and playing with their your own genitals was the retard way of life… As I am concered all pussy is created equal..if it works then its worth fucking and if the bus driver wasn’t the bigger fucking retard in the situation he would have tried to get up inside someone more severely retarded who can’t talk and express themselves so that no one ever finds out about his hustle…. Either way, I think this dude was just doing community service, you know, make a girl feel like a sex object and not like a freak of nature and he deserves the key to the fucking city.

‘Everywhere I go, there’s just mass amounts of people,’ the Situation tells Interview magazine. By Eric Ditzian Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on the set of his Interview magazine photo shoot Photo: Interview Magazine John Lennon famously declared in 1966 that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. Almost half a century later, a star of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” has a feeling he and his reality-show buddies are giving the Fab Four a run for their money. “Oh, man, it’s just unbelievable,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told Interview magazine in the new issue. “Everywhere I go, there’s just mass amounts of people. There’s people showing up at airports, wanting autographs, girls, it’s insane. It’s like the Beatles, man.” The world’s in love with the “Shore” kids, so it seems, and they feel fine. Girls apparently have fainted when they met the Situation. Girls who encounter Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, the star declared, often start shaking and crying. And then there’s Vinny Guadagnino. “I have girls who come to my house and knock on my door,” he said. “I have girls who call me at 4 in the morning. I have girls who make pages for me on Facebook, VinnyGsFutureWife on Twitter.” Along with the girls, they have celeb fans too, including, according to the “Shore” guys, Lindsay Lohan, Ashton Kutcher, Diddy, Denzel Washington and Leonardo DiCaprio. According to Vinny, Leo once told him, “I can tell you’re a good Italian kid, from a good family.” While they’ve gathered in Miami this week to begin shooting the second season of “Jersey Shore” — which premieres Thursday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV — the crew is also looking toward the future and where their newfound fame might take them. The Situation is looking to break into movies after he “conquer[s] reality.” Ronnie wants to get out of reality shows before he morphs into a gelled-up version of Screech from “Saved by the Bell.” He’s looking toward a career in modeling or acting. Vinny? The kid loves to rap and wants to lay down a track that is “clubby and catchy,” although if a music career doesn’t work out, he’ll fall back on his political-science career. Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, too, is looking at sticking in the music biz. “I want to become a famous DJ,” he said. “DJ AM passed away, so I want to become that — a huge DJ.” Are you excited for season two of “Jersey Shore”? What do you think the crew will get into down in Miami? Let us know in the comments below! Season two of “Jersey Shore” premieres Thursday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Be there! ‘Jersey Shore’: Top Moments At The House

From hot-tub hookups to girl fights, we run down the best moments from last season at the shore. By Eric Ditzian Mike “The Situation” hooks up during season one of “Jersey Shore” This week, Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the “Jersey Shore” crew started shooting the second season of their hit MTV reality show in Miami. But after this vacation in the Florida sun, the series will be heading back to its Jersey roots to finish off season two . Which means we’ll be seeing more of Seaside Heights’ boardwalk, bars and beaches. The cast will also be sleeping off their late nights in the very same house from season one. With a return to the familiar digs in mind, let’s take a look back at some of our favorite house moments from the inaugural season of the “Shore.” The Blocked Hot Tub Hook-Up The season got off to a heated start when Pauly D, Vinny and the Situation brought some ladies back to the house’s rooftop hot tub. Beers were swilled, clothes were removed and housemate Angelina declared with disgust, “I didn’t think they were going to be those typical Jersey whore guys.” As the panties went flying, tempers flared. JWoww yelled at the hot tub-hoppers, “Close the door — with you behind it!” Not cool, argued the guys. “Let us do our thing,” Pauly pleaded. “We’re trying to party. You girls don’t want to party with us, so we’re going to bring girls to party. This is the summer!” Vinny’s Family Feast In the midst of all the cast’s trips to the gym, the tanning salon and the laundry mat, we did get a peek into the culturally rich family life of some of the housemates. No one’s relatives were more memorable than Vinny’s clan, led by his instantly loveable Italian mother. “My son looks skinny,” she said, as everyone unpacked four trays of ziti, plus tomato sauce, veggies, salad, breadsticks, cold cuts and cheese. “That’s like a true Italian woman,” Snooki said. “You want to please everyone else at the table and then when everyone’s done, you clean up and you eat by yourself.” Pauly’s Stalker Here’s the setup: Pauly met a girl at bar who he liked — until she kept showing up while he was hanging on the boardwalk with some other girls. Cue the greatest phone conversation of the entire season. Let’s pick up the action halfway through … “It’s my turn to talk. It’s my turn to talk,” Pauly told her. “You stalked my whole entire life, right, and I don’t like that. I do nothing wrong and you — I’m talking now! — you know how I felt about you. You just have no trust whatsoever. So you thought I was creeping with those chicks, which I wasn’t. I went on one ride — God bless me, it’s f—ing summer! Yes, I was upstairs on the balcony with three chicks — and three dudes. Did I do anything? No! All we did is have a conversation. That’s it. All those girls have boyfriends. If you weren’t such a f—ing stalker, I would have called you when I got home. Instead — yes you are, it’s crazy, I can’t deal with that. You don’t want to look stupid? Don’t you think that makes you look stupid? You’re like, ‘I’m not calling you.’ You called, like, a hundred times. How many times did you call? We took the phone off the hook last night. All I wanted to do is call you when I got home so we could hang out. You wouldn’t let that happen. You were so worried about how you’re gonna look because people see me walking with three girls that, ‘Oh my god, blah blah, I don’t want to look stupid.’ Well, now look how stupid you look.” Snooki and the Duck Phone Speaking of telephones, the quacking wooden duck phone gave everyone in the house a hard time. But Snooki seemed to be particularly perplexed by it, starting with her very first encounter with the ceaselessly ringing thing. “What the f— is that thing quacking? That’s really weird,” she wondered aloud, struggling to dial, hang up, deal with call waiting and otherwise communicate with the outside world. In the end, all she wanted to know was, “What the f— kind of person gets a duck phone to talk on?” One of life’s enduring mysteries, Snickers. The Girl Fight Of all the cast’s scuffles, the Snooki-three-other-girls throwdown was easily the wildest. It all went down when the Situation decide to invite one girl back to the house. The entire cast got a little bit more than they expected when three girls showed up. Snooki was sent in to turn the unwanted ladies away, then insults were exchanged and suddenly the girls were in the midst of a hair-pulling, punch-throwing scrum. The takeaway? Leave it to Pauly D to lay down some knowledge. “I learned a long time ago, being a wingman for the Situation is not a good idea,” he said. What were your favorite moments from “Jersey Shore”?
