The piece states that Trump blew up Pence’s phone and Pence failed to return a single phone call. It’s been reported that Pence sent Trump a letter saying he needed time to decide whether he could stay with the campaign. But in fact, according to several Republicans familiar with the situation, he wasn’t just thinking about dropping out—he was contemplating a coup. Within hours of The Post’s bombshell, Pence made it clear to the Republican National Committee that he was ready to take Trump’s place as the party’s nominee. Such a move just four weeks before Election Day would have been unprecedented—but the situation seemed dire enough to call for radical action. Randy Jackson Says Wissam Al Mana Verbally Abused Janet Jackson If you thought Janet’s divorce from Wissam Al Mana seemed to come out of the clear blue sky shortly after she gave birth to baby Eissa, you aren’t alone. But a new revelation from her big bro Randy Jackson is definitely illuminating the situation for us all. According to People , Randy revealed that Wissam pulled a complete 180 on Janet as soon as she revealed that she was expecting their child. He claims that the Qatari businessman became particularly verbally abusive to Janet, repeatedly calling her out of her name and becoming increasingly controlling toward the end of their relationship. “It was quite an abusive situation. It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home. No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b-tch every day. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.” Randy says that as soon as he understood the severity of Janet’s situation earlier this year, he told his sister that she had the choice to either move in with him or he would personally come to their London home and handle things himself. Randy went on to say that while on tour, Janet repeatedly breaks down in tears backstage during the show, as the verbal abuse and bullying from her ex-husband is continuing, with him using their custody arrangement as an intimidation tactic. “What you saw in Houston, it was her situation coming out, what she’s been going through. The abuse is still going on. She has custody and he, of course, allowed her to bring the baby on tour, but it’s constant harassment. This tour almost didn’t happen, but by the grace of God we’re here and we’re very prayerful.” As for why he’s coming forward and telling Janet’s story now, Randy says “enough is enough,” and it’s simply time for the truth of the matter to be made plain. “It’s not about anger or vengeance…We don’t like to put our business out there but sometimes transparency helps you. The devil thrives in darkness. I’m just here supporting her through this time. There’s a lot of pain. Janet’s been through a lot with her divorce. I’ve been through a lot, we all have.” Wow. Of course, everything the Duggars do these days is surrounded by controversy, and Joy-Anna’s pregnancy is no different. And how could a pregnancy announcement from a married woman be controversial, you ask? Well, most of the gossip has to do with the fact that Joy-Anna got pregnant just three months after marrying Austin Forsyth , and some fans believe she looks like she’s further along than that. Given the strict nature of the Duggar courtship rules that forbid premarital sex, if Joy-Anna did get pregnant before her wedding, many of the family’s most pious followers would consider the situation to be downright scandalous. And it’s not just sex that’s off-limits to unmarried Duggars. Any physical contact beyond hand-holding is considered ungodly, and for reasons we don’t quite understand, the strict enforcement of these rules is part of what makes the Duggars so popular. Any indication that the whole “courtship” thing is just a front would leave patriarch Jim Bob with some serious explaining to do. So we get why it’s fun to speculate that Joy-Anna and Austin may have given into the devilry of lust before they walked down the aisle. Unfortunately, the situation has led to some intense scrutiny of Joy-Anna’s body, which is decidedly not cool. “She’s a bigger woman than her sisters,” one fan wrote on Joy-Anna’s Instagram announcement. “She’s thick and she has bigger breasts, and they say bigger women show more. My mom looked like she was having triplets with me, but in fact it was because of the fluid around me when I was a fetus,” she further elaborated. It’s worth pointing out that that’s a comment from a fan who’s defending Joy-Anna by arguing that she’s being honest about her pregnancy timeline. With friends like that, who needs enemies? Look, in all likelihood, if Joy-Anna got pregnant before she got married, we would never find out about. The Duggars control the release of information about their private lives more effectively than any reality TV family, and they would never admit to one of their children getting knocked up out of wedlock. So speclate away, but bear in mind that putting photos of Joy-Anna’s pregnant body under a microscope is cringe-worthy at best, repugnant at worst. Granted, he’s sparring with a 12-year-old, but it’s clear through the video that Uzi knows how to dodge and swing. He unleashed his fury on young rapper Matt Ox. Sources close to the situation told TMZ it was a playful match. Apparently, Uzi likes to box in between recording sessions and Matt happened to be brave enough to take on the 23-year-old Uzi. Uzi is currently coming off the high of his just released album Luv Is Rage 2 , which is expected to hit big on the Billboard charts . We’ve all heard about how Jason Hoppy has put Bethenny Frankel in hell through all of his alleged stalking and harassment and their nightmarish divorce battle. Bethenny says that she knows how this has to end. So, Bethenny Frankel’s divorce from Jason Hoppy was long, painful, and nightmarishly expensive. They may be exes now, but they’ll always be linked through their young daughter, Bryn. Jason Hoppy’s arrest back in January was actually over threats that he’s accused of making to Bethenny Frankel at Bryn’s school. (Imagine threatening the mother of your child at your child’s school — that’s so unimaginably hateful) Jason Hoppy was arraigned on additional stalking charges over the summer, before that first arrest was even dealt with in court. The details weren’t immediately made apparent, but it appears that he may have been harassing a third party as part of his alleged campaign of harassment against Bethenny. Like … does he not have hobbies? Don’t get us wrong — Bethenny Frankel can come across as callous and dismissive of other people’s problems sometimes. (A lot, actually) But there’s a difference between having what some might call an “abrasive” personality and being an actual menace. Jason Hoppy is due back in court in September (his motion to have the charges against him was dismissed earlier this month), and maybe Bethenny will get some sort of resolution then. Bethenny Frankel lamented to Andy Cohen how her conflict with Jason Hoppy has impacted her relationship with other Real Housewives. But she knows what can resolve this and put it behind her. “Any resolution is legally mandated and I’m fine with that.” She’s putting a lot of faith in the court. “I don’t care what happens, I have faith that somehow I will be able to live a normal free life.” Basically, she’s not campaigning to have Jason Hoppy put in prison. But there’s just one thing that she needs. “But it has to be with zero contact. Because with any contact, this will not end.” She says that she can’t accurately describe what this has been like for her. She does temporarily lapse into some unfortunate hyperbole. “It is indescribable and it is inexplicable and it’s like, if someone wants to talk about like a war zone in Israel, how are you going to explain that to someone?” But she quickly clarifies that she’s not trying to equate her situation with a genuine humanitarian crisis. “I’m not comparing this to actual war but in my life, you can’t even imagine the torment that this has been. There’s no way to describe it.” We get it — trauma is difficult to articulate. When you try, you feel like you sound silly. It’s not silly, though. “I just stifled it in because if I let any of it out, I’m going to totally break down. I can’t believe this happened to me.” Keeping it suppressed doesn’t work, in the long term. While things are going on, bottling things up helps you survive. Over time, though, those coping mechanisms backfire. That’s why PTSD is so rough. And yes, you can absolutely get PTSD from stalking. Bethenny found the entire struggle to be inescapable. “It was part of my life. I thought I was never getting out of it. I couldn’t even understand it. How can I explain this to everybody?” We know that she’s doing charity work to help other women, but we wonder if she’s met with a victim advocate to try to just articulate her own situation. Bethenny isn’t really the “ask for help’ type, but it really might help her. “You’ve never — it is torture. So that’s why I didn’t explain it. There’s no way to describe this to anybody. Nobody would believe it.” Jason Hoppy might not be done tormenting her , though, because he didn’t immediately accept a plea deal that would have basically gotten him off scott free. We have to ask why he’s so obsessed with having contact with Bethenny that he would apparently rather continue his court battle than continue to be legally barred from having contact with her. Maybe he doesn’t want it on his record or claims that he’s innocent — though an officer was a witness to and confirmed Bethenny Frankel’s account of the January incident at Bryn’s school, so … good luck with that?
