I never actually thought I would be writing one of these but here I am, writing it with the biggest smile on my face. I’m just going to skip right to the point. Justin’s last leg of the tour was in Australia and I was lucky enough to get two really awesome seats at the side of the stage. Originally, I tried for meet and greet but I wasn’t quick enough to buy them so I missed out. That was upsetting but I moved on and just felt blessed to be able to attend the shows. When it got closer to the date there were so many meet and greet competitions that I entered, one of them was the “Bieber Fever Best Collection.” When I entered I was sort of hopeful, but by the time it was almost at the 24 hrs before the concert, I had given up hope. I refreshed my email and saw I had one from them saying I won. I literally broke down into tears, and I was so glad I was the only one at home at the time, because it would have been so embarrassing if I had done that in front of everyone. The day of the meet and greet, we were lining up outside where everyone was told to meet. So many of the girls were saying how they were going to push in and make sure they got to stand next to Justin, and that they didn’t care about anyone else, they just wanted to get next to him. By that point I was starting to worry if it would turn out alright or not. People were also saying that you practically get pushed in, shoved next to him, a photo taken and then you are dragged out by security. While we were waiting in the hallway, Fredo and a few of the other crew members were walking past but they seemed like they were in a rush and didn’t stop for photos, which was okay, it was still nice seeing them. We formed a group of six and started lining up single file against the wall. The line started moving and that’s when I realized Justin was literally only meters away and the photos were starting. I just kept thinking, “He’s right in there!” Security guard opened the curtain and I looked in, and there were so many people in there. I kind of froze on the spot and I didn’t know what to do. Two of the people from my group walked up and stood on his right side. I was literally just standing there staring at Justin and the empty spot on his left thinking, “Oh my gosh, do I stand there? THERE IS NO ONE NEXT TO HIM!” Michelle (my friend) pushed me and said, “Quick! Go stand next to him!” so I walked over to Justin, and I wrapped my arm around him, and the moment I held him, I swear to God, I don’t even know how to explain it. His skin is so soft, my hand was on his rib cage, and I just remember standing there thinking, “How is his skin so damn soft?!” I heard him talking, and I was completely out of it so I didn’t even understand what he said. I turned to look at him, and I was just staring at his face, so close to mine, his skin was flawless, he is actually so much more tan in person. His eyes are beautiful, I just..wow. I was then standing there thinking, “He is actually real.” Like it sounds so stupid to say it like that, of course he is real. The girl on the other side of Justin asked if we could take a silly photo and Justin said, “Yeah sure, let’s go. One. Two…” and then he pulled his face and the photo was taken. As soon as I let go of him, I just started crying, and I couldn’t believe what had actually just happened. Justin really was so sweet, and it wasn’t rushed at all, and everything went perfect, and the show afterwards was amazing. I really am blessed. Teen Dies Saving Girlfriend In California Train Accident This is so sad. The young man lost his life trying to save his girlfriend on their way to the Sadie Hawkins dance. According to SF Gate: A Northern California town was reeling Saturday after learning that a teenage boy was killed and a teenage girl was seriously injured after they were hit by a freight train while walking to a Sadie Hawkins Day dance. The accident Friday evening occurred near Marysville’s only high school and a little league park where a game was being played. Investigators told KCRA-TV the teens were walking southbound on the tracks — the same direction as the train. Relatives told the station the 16-year-old girl, Mickayla Friend, and her boyfriend had planned to take a short walk to the Dollar Tree store to buy some food before heading to the dance at their school. “It’s her first boyfriend, and her first love,” Alithya Friend said. “And she just got it taken away from her in an instant.” The boy died at the scene, and the girl was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with traumatic injuries, CalFire Capt. Dennis Hunt said. Friend said her sister remained in critical condition Saturday. People who were at the game said they heard a long blowing of the train’s horn, and many raced to the scene as the train came to a stop. “The engineer was on the horn,” witness Sean Stark said. “Then finally, they both looked back at the same time.” He said the boy made a split second decision. “They would have both been underneath that train if he didn’t push her out of the way at the last second,” Stark said. Blame Beyonce ? Skin Bleaching Cream Linked To Skin Cancer And Infertility Medical experts have have warned Nigerians on the dangers of using bleaching products . Via Vanguard reports: Dr Akinlolu Siyanbola, a dermatologist at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Hospital, Osogbo, and Dr Abimbola Ibrahim in their separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Osogbo, maintained that consistent usage of bleaching products over a long period could lead to kidney failure, cancer and infertility. According to Dr Siyanbola, consistent usage of bleaching products over a long period could make the kidney to fail, and could cause diabetes. He explained that bleaching products could also cause osteoporosis (loss of bone density), psychiatric manifestation and systemic hypertension among other ailments. The dermatologist said that bleaching products contain chemical agents that reduce the activities of the natural cell which protects the skin from the adverse effects of sunlight. The agents, he said, change the skin to occhronus manifested in different colours of the body. In his reaction, Dr Abimbola Ibrahim, disclosed that people who use bleaching products may end up being infertile. Ibrahim said products lighten the skin and cause it to lose its natural protective barrier, making it to be vulnerable. The medical expert added that infection spreads faster and broader, thus leading to skin cancer. The Nigerian Public Health Department also sent this warning about the skin bleaching product: It was only a matter of time that the reviews of the controversial cream “Whitenicious” would be made available to the public. Whitenicious was released by Cameroun personality, Dencia , this past January, and has received a lot of speculations that it may lead to skin cancer. Users of Whitencious who shared and documented their results took to http://www.skincaretalk.com to voice complaints about the cream causing headaches, pimples and unwanted facial hair. Unwanted facial hair and headaches are well known side effects of topical steroid use. The damaging prolong effects of steroid use on human skin has been well documented by credible medical research agencies to include Harvard Medical School. Topical steroid crèmes are predominantly prescribed by dermatologists for the treatment of rash, eczema, and dermatitis. It is observed that one of the side-effects of steroid use is skin-lightening. However individual who abuse it simply for this purpose fail to understand that the lightening effect is temporary, as the user will eventually revert to their natural complexion after a few months of usage. The temporay skin lightening effect is as a result of vasoconstriction, that is, basically restricting blood flow to the vital organs. Prolong topical steroid has many well known adverse side-effects to include renal (kidney) failure and susceptibility to melanoma, which is the most dangerous form of cancer. Members of skincaretalk have voiced that they will be conducting an independent laboratory test to verify if the cream does in fact contain steroids and any other banned harmful substances. This is a major public health concern. So much so that there is talk that NAFDAC (The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) [of Nigeria] is in the preliminary stage of issuing a ban which will prevent the cream from being sold in Nigeria. NAFDAC has issued similar bans in the past and has had great success in implementing it. Individuals caught smuggling items that are banned by NAFDAC have been known to face huge penalties in the form of hefty fines. It is clearly evident that Dencia herself did not use Whitencious to transform from her original dark chocolate complexion to her now pale white skin. Speculations are that she is receiving weekly glutathione injections to suppress the melanin formation in her body. It is reported that there are a number of glutathione clinics in Lagos, Nigeria as well as in other countries. Let us just hope that Dencia has not compromised the health of her customers by knowingly including harmful substances that can cause cancer and other serious ailments. It is in everyone’s innate nature to succeed and become a success story. However at what cost? Love the skin you’re in !!!
