The Walking Dead Recap: What Happened to Daryl?

Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead continued to fill in the blanks about what happened during the time jump.  We started things off with Carol and Henry finding Daryl in the woods living rough.  Not one to show up without an ulterior motive, Carol said that she needed Daryl to coach Henry into becoming a solid fighter and a stand up young man.  Daryl was against this because he was happy staying alone with his trusty four-legged companion. Oh yes, Daryl got himself a dog, and it’s smarter than you would think.  In any case, Carol put her manipulation head on, and got the dog trapped, fully knowing that Henry would help free the companion.  It went to plan and allowed Daryl to see that there was a lot to like about Henry.  Daryl subsequently opened up about why he was out there in the open without any human interaction. He was skeptical that Rick was actually dead because there was no body.  He made a great point, and it proved that even though he and Rick had their differences before the big event, Daryl was still going to be there for his friend.  Elsewhere, Jesus and Aaron were on what appeared to be a date when they noticed a flare lighting up the sky in the distance.  It was Rosita, and she claimed that Eugene was locked up in a barn after they heard walkers whispering. Rosita was adamant that they needed to get their ally back.  However, Jesus and Aaron were all about getting Rosita to safety because their friend was safe in a barn and she was a bit worse for wear.  Back at the Hilltop, we learned that Maggie took off with Georgie with the aim of building a new community, and Jesus was left in charge.  Jesus was struggling to get acclimated with leading the people, and it was starting to rub Tara the wrong way. Without guidance, the place would fall apart.  Jesus resolved that he needed to switch things up if he wanted to prove that he was the right candidate for the job.  Meanwhile, Michonne, Siddiq, and D.J. traveled with Magna, Yumiko, Kelly, Connie, and Luke towards the Hilltop.  Despite the newbies claiming that they were thankful, Michonne took a chance on them, she stopped them in their tracks.  She only went along with them to see if their story checked out, presumably so she could get some revenge if they were liars.  The biggest surprise was that Michonne had no idea Maggie left the Hilltop behind. It confirmed that the relationship between the communities was hanging by a thread.  Siddiq had to tell his boss about it, and she was not impressed because she thought they were closer.  In the end, Daryl, Carol, and Henry arrived alongside the new group at the Hilltop, and everyone got ready to go on the mission to save Eugene’s life.  What are your thoughts on the episode? We all know that reality TV shows rarely depict anything that could be accurately described as reality. From the Teen Moms to the Real Housewives, just about everyone who's appeared on a long-running reality series has complained at one point or another about being the victim of a bad edit. It's a necessary evil, as producers are tasked with the job of crafting narratives out of raw footage and creating heroes and villains, while in real life, most of us are somewhere in the middle of that spectrum. The latest (alleged) victim of this trend is Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who claims his implied affair with “Jewish Barbie” on last week's Jersey Shore Family Vacation was concocted by showrunners in an effort to provide viewers with the drama they crave. Take a look:   1. Ariana’s Parents Ron and Jen have certainly experienced some ups and downs over the course of their relationship, but they remain committed to making it work. 2. Rough Patches Ronnie and Jen’s impassioned confrontations have made for some of the most memorable drama on this season of Shore. 3. What Happens In Vegas … For example, who could forget Jen’s explosive — and unexpected — visit to Ron while the Shore gang was partying in Vegas? 4. What a Drag And of course, there was the incident in which Jen allegedly dragged Ronnie with her car — a confrontation that both sides now say was exaggerated by the media. 5. Even So … Jen has made no secret of the fact that she’s got a bit of a temper (making her a perfect fit for Ron), so fans have been encouraging Magro to tread lightly this season. 6. Enter Jewish Barbie So when Angelina’s friend Lindsay, aka Jewish Barbie, entered the shore-less Shore house and began showing an interest in Ron, there was widespread concern for Magro’s well-being. Larissa: I Only Did 90 Day Fiance for the Money, And I Want More!

Just one week after  Larissa was arrested for domestic battery , she and her husband, Colt, are assuring fans that everything’s fine. The  90 Day Fiance  couple are posting their love on social media, where Colt is gushing about his wife. In the mean time, Larissa is admitting that she did the show for the money, and asking for tips about getting lip fillers. Remember when Larissa first arrived in Vegas and complained about the desert heat? Well, now that daily highs in Vegas are in the 60s, she’s complaining about the “freezing” weather. But she and Colt also used Instagram to do a bit of a Q&A with followers. A fan who was very sure to emphasize that they weren’t being a hater asked Colt what he likes the most about Larissa, personality-wise. “I simply love her more than anything,” Colt replied. Colt was also asked what it takes to make a relationship work. “When I learn the secret,” Cole answered. “I’ll tell you.” Larissa also spoke to her followers. When a fan asked if she was now free to speak openly of her marriage to him, she answered. “After what happened Colt never told me, ‘Don’t post. Delete. Don’t talk about me.’ It’s OK now,” Larissa replied. Before their huge fight the week before, Larissa had been feeling hurt that Colt wanted her to not post about their romance. (They are on  90 Day Fiance  and Colt wanted to avoid spoilers, but apparently Larissa didn’t care about that)  After a sequence of unpleasantness, this led to police breaking down the door to their home, handcuffing Colt, and arresting Larissa. To hear her tell it, though, it may have been worth it so that she can post selfies with him. “Some bad things come to be good things,” Larissa says. Larissa also revealed that she was less than enamored with her experience with reality television. In Brazil, she says, she would have already gotten plastic surgery, including a boob job, if she were a reality star. Notably, she is asking fans for tips on where to get lip fillers and botox in Vegas. Larissa says that she would also have landed a new car by now on a Brazilian reality series. But does she regret going on the show? “I regret 50 percent and I don’t regret 50 percent,” Larissa answers.  “There are good people and bad people,” Larissa states. “And good experiences and bad experiences.” She also went into detail about why she elected to appear on  90 Day Fiance  to begin with. “First it was for the money,” Larissa freely admits. As she has discovered, the show doesn’t pay like the Real Housewives franchise does, but the extra cash is nice. “Then after all the s–t,” Larissa continues. “Now it’s for career, for my business.” And if she had a do-over, what would she do then? Larissa says: “I would try to live my relationship off the camera.” So, she’s complained about not getting instantly flush with cash by being on the show. A fan asked if she would characterize herself as a gold-digger. Larissa denies it, claiming that she is instead a “Cat-digger.” Colt and his mother have always had cats, and Colt’s best Instagram photos are of cats.  (The true purpose of social media is to share cat pics; sorry, I don’t make the rules) Larissa shares that her dream is to get a Maine Coon cat that costs $3,000. That thing about cats and all of that gushing is almost sweet enough to make you forget about Larissa’s arrest. She was taken to jail for domestic battery, though Colt has not shared many details and insists that he is not pressing charges. Domestic battery is always a serious matter, folks. No matter how much someone loves cats. And then there’s how Larissa made Colt’s mother cry after their first meeting and the fact that she’s a deadbeat mom with three kids in three homes . Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson Refuse to Answer Pregnancy Question

We hate to break this to you, but… … Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson having a bit of fun at your expense. They know exactly what you are thinking, exactly what websites such as this one are writing and they don’t have any plans to address the elephant in the room. Or the alleged child in the womb, we should say, to be more specific. Indeed, every other social media user seems to be convinced that Swanson is pregnant . This has been a topic of debate ever since she married Duggar at the end of June and fans are so desperate for confirmation that they took Lauren’s recent decision to make her Pinterest page as a sure sign that she’s expecting. She must have done so because she’s making a few baby boards and isn’t prepared to share the news yet, right? Right? RIGHT?!? Probably, according the latest reports. But don’t expect either Josiah or Lauren to confirm the news any time soon. “Josiah and Lauren are having fun keeping her possible pregnancy status a secret,” a source tells Hollywood Life, making it sound as if a baby is in there, but… “They are so happy, in love and excited about this newlywed time in their life that they are keeping everything just between the two of them. “When anyone asks them directly about being pregnant, they give a vague answer with a smile.” Hey, look, we’re all about respecting privacy and few things are more special or personal than a baby on the way and… … eh, who are we kidding?!? We’re a celebrity gossip site! Give us all the scoop you’ve got, Lauren and Josiah! “Lauren and Josiah have been married five months now and it’s no secret that they’ve been trying for a baby since their wedding night so it’s very likely she’s already pregnant,” another source tells Celebrity Insider. This would certainly fit the pattern of Josiah’s family. Nearly every Duggar woman or every woman who marries into the Duggars starts trying for a baby within hours of exchanging vows. For Lauren and Josiah, this occasion took place on June 30 in Arkansas . Because the couple never revealed their wedding date ahead of time, many followers assumed Swanson was already pregnant and that this was your basic shotgun marriage. Alas, if that were the case, Lauren would be showing by now. All this time later, however, even those very close to the stars believe a bun is on Lauren’s proverbial oven. “Friends and family believe Lauren is secretly pregnant and they are all anxiously waiting for her to reveal her big news,” writes Hollywood Life, adding: “They are dedicated to their faith and believe when the time is right, they will share the wonderful news with their families first.” Of late, Swanson sparked pregnancy chatter after she wore a loose-fitting dress in a photo she shared on Instagram. She’s also been sharing a handful of images that only show her upper body, which has led to some speculate that she’s hiding her growing baby bump. And she very well may be. Javi Marroquin Baby Name, Photo: REVEALED!

He has a name, folks. And quite the adorable little face. About a day after Javi Marroquin welcomed his second son into the world, the former Teen Mom 2 star has shared two critical pieces of information about the tyke: 1. His name. 2. His photo. Upon first announcing the birth of his second child (Javi also has a five-year old son named Lincoln with Kailyn Lowry), Marroquin said he and girlfriend Lauren Comeau had not yet come up with a name for the newborn. But that has now changed. Along with the totally adorable snapshot below, Javi wrote the following caption on Instagram last night.  Take note of the first word in it… Eli Joseph Marroquin, I didn’t know I could love another human as much as I do your brother. My heart only got bigger yesterday and now I have another little boy to help guide and mold to become a gentleman! I love you Eli so much! How very sweet, right? Comeau, meanwhile, shared this same photo (along with the others below) and wrote her own caption that address her first kid. It reads as follows: And just like that, my heart is completely full. Nothing will ever top this moment, a moment I’ve prayed for, for a very long time. I love you E. And thank you my love for supporting me through the craziest two days of my life. Comeau and Marroquin dated for several weeks last summer and then rekindled their romantic flame late this past winter. ( While Javi was still dating Briana DeJesus, some people named Briana DeJesus might say .) They announced they were expecting on May 30 and then revealed they were expecting a boy a couple months later. Lauren was due on December 1, but had her labor induced on November 15. In a chat with Radar Online, Comeau admitted that induction was a tad scary , but “it’s been incredible” overall to be a mother so far, adding: “I was nervous about having to start from zero at the hospital, but we had a really great experience… “His first overnight was amazing. We all three slept in between nurse visits. He’s latching great. He’s a happy, healthy boy!” Marroquin also shared the above image of Eli asleep in his daddy’s arms. Life doesn’t get much better than this. In the wake of Javi become a dad again, Lowry Tweeted “congrats,” while DeJesus figured out some math in regard to when Comeau gave birth and when she split from Marroquin and basically accused him of cheating on social media. But Javi doesn’t seem too concerned about that right now. He has something far more important to focus on. For the next few minutes, months and many years. “I shed some tears,” Marroquin told Radar of his reaction when Eli was born. “For those that don’t know, I’m not an emotional person anymore at all and just seeing my son come out really had me in my feeling.” Well, yeah. Of course man! You’re only human. Leah Messer Admits to Drug Problem: The Shocking Details

If you've kept up with Teen Mom 2 over the years, then you're definitely familiar with Leah Messer and her … Well, her dark times. A few years ago, she began behaving strangely, as we saw in episodes, and many fans speculated that she'd developed a drug problem. She was falling asleep while talking on the phone, she temporarily lost custody of her twins to Corey Simms. And while she's admitted that she did take prescription painkillers for a short period of time after giving birth to her youngest daughter, she's never outright said that she's had a problem with them. She's definitely never said that a drug problem was to blame for all that questionable behavior. But in a new episode of her podcast, Leah is finally getting honest. 1. Oh, How Things Have Changed Leah Messer may not have the constant trashy drama that Jenelle Evans has, and she may not be as unlikable as Farrah Abraham, but she definitely has one of the most compelling stories on Teen Mom. 2. SO Sad And hers is definitely the saddest. 3. Some History When Leah was in high school, she hooked up with Corey Simms after breaking up with her boyfriend … and she got pregnant with twins. 4. Moving So Fast They did the traditional thing and got engaged, then married, even though obviously they were too young for absolutely all of that. 5. Oh, Leah They ended up getting divorced because Leah cheated on him, and also because they were just pretty incompatible about a lot of things. 6. Enough, Please Oh, and one of their twins has a rare form of muscular dystrophy, and doctors can’t be sure exactly what course the disease will take. View Slideshow

As we reported earlier this week, Jenelle Evans is driving across the country along with her husband, David Eason.  Curiously, Jenelle and David flew to California last week, but it seems they've decided to rent a car and drive home.  And their choice of transportation isn't the only unusual thing about this coast-to-coast odyssey. Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: Why They REALLY Quit Little People, Big World

Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff drove a metaphorical dagger through the hearts of fans. They have quit Little People, Big World . They don't want to be reality stars. However, Audrey and Jeremy do have a new podcast , titled “Behind The Scenes.” In the audio series' second-ever episode, Auj and Jer explain the real reasons for which they quit the show. They have a whole list, folks. Some of those reasons are not surprising. Others are. But they have some very good news for fans who are eager to see them (and their precious baby) on camera again. Take a look: 1. Auj and Jer have a podcast The second episode is titled “Why We Left the Show.” 2. Jeremy spent about half of his life on Little People, Big World And, as Audrey explains, the show changed over the years as the television industry evolved. 3. Reality TV became a big thing “The dynamic of the show changed for you guys [once reality TV boomed],” Audrey says. “Because it was no longer in the budget for people to sit in your living room and film all day long.” 4. That meant that the show changed, too It became less of a documemtary and focused more on being entertaining in order to remain on the air 5. Of course, the Roloffs were already famous They had appeared on major talk shows such as Good Morning America and even Oprah. 6. Josh & Anna Duggar: Expecting a Sixth Child AND Adopting a Seventh?!

Talk about aggressive expansion! Josh and Anna Duggar might be preparing to welcome two kids at once — and we’re not talking about twins! Yes, some Counting On fans are convinced that Anna is pregnant with her sixth child. And others believe that Josh and Anna are adopting a kid from Indonesia. And then there’s a third group who’s convinced that both rumors are true, and Josh and Anna are trying to get back into his parents’ good graces by giving them a run for their money in the offspring department. The jury’s still out on whether or not Anna is expecting, but the Indonesian adoption story is almost certainly BS. As far as we can tell, it’s based on nothing more than the above photo, in which a slew of Duggars is seen serving as an airport welcoming committee. Anna posted the pic and captioned it, “Late night airport run to welcome home our Indonesian sister!” To be fair, we can see how that might be a confusing caption. In the comments, many fans seemed convinced that Josh and Anna had decided to adopt an Indonesian child. “Was she adopted by your family?” one follower asked point blank. Others echoed that query, but it seems they failed to notice that Anna tagged Jenni Hartono in the post. Jenni is a grown woman and a longtime family friend of the Duggars. In fact, at one point, there were rumors that her brother, Jonathan Hartono, was courting Jana Duggar . So yeah, we strongly doubt that Josh and Anna adopted their grown-up friend. Besides, Josh is a known child molester — what adoption agency would give him a kid? Another theory that makes a bit more sense is that Jenni is in town to court one of the Duggar boys. “A potential match for someone? … Jed or Jer maybe,” wrote one commenter. We suppose it’s possible. After all, Tontitown is mighty small, and the Duggars have a lot of boys to marry off. But the most likely explanation is that Jenni is simply a family friend who’s in town for a visit. We know — disappointingly un-scandalous.
