Farrah Abraham: Catelynn Lowell is DISGUSTING!

Last night was Farrah Abraham’s big boxing match! Or, well, it was supposed to be, anyway. Last night, Farrah was scheduled to fight Hoopz from Flavor of Love in Atlantic City, but sadly, it never came to be. The boxing match was for charity, but our girl backed out because the promoter wouldn’t play for airfare and hotel rooms for like 30 “friends” of hers. Really, that’s what happened. She insisted that she was promised all those rooms and plane tickets, but the organizers denied it, and obviously refused to cater to her insane demands. So she refused to fight. It’s unclear now what’s going to happen with all of that — she could very well be sued for breaking her contract . But the show went on with Mob Wives star Natalie DiDonato taking over for Farrah . Hoopz won, by the way. Meanwhile, Farrah went to Maldives with her daughter, Sophia, and in between posing for lame pictures and being her usual awful self, she gave an interview to Hollywood Life. And, in usual Farrah fashion, it didn’t really make a whole lot of sense but it was entertaining just the same. First, she advised “anyone associated to the criminal fraud promoters” of the fight “to cease and desist using my name for attention of their failed fight to steal money and use celebrities.” Those celebs, by the way, include “Hoopz, Catelynn, and other low-class wannabe celebrities like Drita.” Drita officiated the fight, an excellent choice since she got into that spectacular feud with Farrah earlier this year — that’s shy she’s bringing her up. And the Catelynn she’s referring to here is none of than Catelynn Lowell. Because she went to the fight! As Cate explained in an Instagram post a few days ago, she went to Atlantic City with Tyler because they were “supposed to see Farrah get laid the hell out by Hoopz thennn she dropped out!” She also called Farrah a “scared sissy” and suggested that she “grow a pair,” which was pretty rich. After all, the whole match was to raise awareness against anti-bullying, so to bully Farrah there was just an odd choice. Lots of other people agreed, so many that Catelynn ended up turning the comments off on her post. Anyway, about Catelynn, Drita, and Hoopz, Farrah claimed that they were all “planning to make a mockery of anti-bullying, and as some are moms, it’s disgusting.” She continued by saying that “Since Teen Mom ratings are lowest ever without me, the Teen Mom groupes including Javi, Catelynn and more teen cast members still went to Atlantic City and said that I wasn’t there, as I’m the reason everyone was going.” “Gone are the days I’m around people who are jealous of me — it’s clear I’m the winner over the bullies of this failed event.” “I’ve still won,” she said. “I’m in the Maldives, where they can’t even afford to come.” “Atlantic City is more in their bracket, and happy they paid to watch me.” She’s really not holding back, is she? Farrah wrapped things up by saying that “Like everyone else, I would never watch fake Teen Mom trash drama anymore.” Instead, “the Kardashian parenting is much better to watch,” which is just a really bizarre and also false thing to say here. “Hope the show doesn’t tank,” she added, ” but looks like it has without me .” “Going snorkeling!” And as much as it hurts to admit it, those kinds of quotes are why Farrah is such an icon. Is her absence the reason why Teen Mom OG ratings aren’t so great the season? Maybe. Is she a little delusional in slamming all of these other poeple for destroying the boxing match’s anti-bullying message when she’s said far worse many, many times ? View Slideshow: Farrah Abraham on Teen Mom OG: LOL! Such a F–king Joke Without ME! Absolutely. But hey, that’s just Farrah!

Chip and Joanna Gaines: We’re Returning to Television!

Chip and Joanna Gaines are about to take a new step in their professional lives. And it’s a significant one. The former HGTV stars announced on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday that they will soon make their long-awaited return to television. In what context? In what way? The beloved couple remained mostly mum on the subject while chatting with the comedian last night. “We signed a non-disclosure and it said quote unquote you can tell your mother but that’s it,” Chip joked on air, adding: “So mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we are coming back to television. “You are going to get to see the kids grow up, you are going to see us, well maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back.” Just over a year ago, Chip and Joanna announced that would be leaving Fixer Upper after five seasons . Since then, the home renovation experts have been rather busy in their own home, having welcomed their fifth child in late June. However, Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano talked to People Magazine and offered a lot more detail on what the future holds for his co-workers: “We’re excited to share that we are currently in the early stages of talking with Discovery about a lifestyle-focused media network for Magnolia. “The details surrounding this opportunity remain a work in progress, but together, our hope is to build a different kind of platform for unique, inspiring and family-friendly content.” Speaking to Fallon, Chip did add the following: “I think we’re really going to carve it out in a way that really makes sense to us and our families. “It’ll be filmed a lot in Waco, Texas, so we don’t have to travel a whole lot. All things being equal, we could not be more excited.” Chip and Joanna hosted the top-rated show on HGTV prior to leaving the small screen. Fans fell in love with how they remade various homes, but also with how they joked around and interacted with each other. The upcoming new network will be the latest addition to Chip and Joanna’s gigantic list of successful businesses. This includes their lifestyle magazine The Magnolia Journal, the new Magnolia Table restaurant and the couple’s product line at Target. Despite bidding farewell to Fixer Upper in April, Chip and Joanna have remained very active in the business world. “The show was amazing and we are so thankful for it, but it’s also a whirlwind where, if you are not careful, it will flat run you over,” Chip told People in October. Looking ahead, Discovery spokesperson David Leavy says the following: “The Gaineses are exceptional people, true authentic storytellers and creative visionaries who will nourish millions of people with quality, family-friendly programming accessible on a 24/7 network and across all screens. “Stay tuned…working out the final details…more to come soon!” View Slideshow: HGTV Scandals That Rocked the Television World

Kenya Moore: It’ll Be Weeks Before I Walk Again After C-Section

Just days ago, Kenya Moore welcomed her first child with husband Marc Daly. It was a difficult, premature birth brought on by pregnancy complications. Now, Kenya is opening up about her recovery, and the differences between real life and reality television. “#realVsReality,” Kenya tagged her video, pointing at how real life and reality television are very different. “#brooklyndaly came early,” she reminds her fans and followers of her newborn daughter. “And the reality is,” Kenya continues. “It will take weeks for me to be able to walk without the excruciating pain of a C section.” “And,” she says, it will takes weeks for her “to heal from the multiple cuts to my uterus.” C-sections are no joke, folks. But that didn’t stop Kenya from taking a motorized scooter on a tour of Target. “Needed to get her some preemie items,” Kenya shares. “So of course,” Kenya continues. “Off to @target we went.” “My aunt Lisa is so afraid!” she admits. Kenya then confesses: “I’m supposed to be in bed.” The idea of going shopping just a few days after giving birth in any fashion is … a little alarming. (Yes, some people gave birth and then went to go vote just hours later, but they are the exception, not the rule) After a C-section, Kenya should be at home, being catered to and focusing on healing. In April, Kenya revealed that she and Marc Daly were expecting their first child. Six months later, on Halloween, Kenya revealed that there were complications with her pregnancy. Kenya was diagnosed with preeclamsia, the three main symptoms of which are high blood pressure, swelling of hands and feet, and protein in urine. Out of concern over this dangerous pregnancy condition, doctors and Kenya decided upon a C-section. Her baby, Brooklyn Doris Daly, was removed from her uterus by skilled surgeons. Brooklyn is considered premature, and weighs just 5 pounds and 12 ounces. Despite her preemie status, Brooklyn is said to be alert and after. Kenya explained how she and Marc chose their firstborn’s name. “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love,” Kenya said. “And Doris,” she continued. “After my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me.” Daly , of course, comes from the last name of her husband, Marc Daly. Kenya Moore is not old in real life. She is 47 years old. In terms of safely becoming pregnant, staying pregnant, and carrying a child to term, she is definitely within the upper extremes of age. (That’s by the standards of the medical community — we’re not age-shaming her) We’re sure that Kenya and Marc are so grateful that they were able to come through this pregnancy with both mother and baby alive and healthy. Last year, they married each other. Now, just a year and a half later, they’re growing their family. In all honesty, the trip to Target less than a week after a C-section sounds a little … far-fetched. Target is a great place as far as liminal spaces are concerned, but Kenya going herself is odd. We’re sure that Atlanta has delivery options (we don’t have to guess; we looked it up). Also, Kenya has family and a husband who could have gone. Either Kenya is just really specific about what she wants her baby to have and couldn’t wait a week … … Or maybe this was an endorsement deal and she’s doing it for the cash. Kim Kardashian Promotes Perfume in Wake of Mass Shooting, Hears All About It

Kim Kardashian stands accused of caring more about her brand and her bank account than about the lives of 12 dead people in California. This is a very harsh asssessment, but it’s one shared by a number of Kim’s Twitter followers right now. The reality star has garnered quite a bit of backlash for what some perceive as an incredibly tone deaf Tweet on Thursday morning. It reads as follows: So excited! @KKWFRAGRANCE is coming to @ultabeauty this holiday season! My fragrances launch in all stores across the country on Sunday 11/25! And then another almost immediately proceeded it: Get ready! #KKWFRAGRANCE is coming to all @ultabeauty stores on Sunday 11.25! #KKWFragranceUltaBeauty. On the surface, this is exactly what any follower of Kardashian would expect: a promotion of her makeup, beauty or perfume collection. But the self-serving messages came just hours after the world learned of another mass shooting, as a dozen people were gunned down in a bar in Thousand Oaks around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday. As you might expect, many social media users responded to Kim’s fragrance shilling by asking what the heck the mother of three was thinking by sending them in light of this tragedy. Here’s a look at some of the most pointed responded to Kardashian’s Tweets: 12 people are dead this morning Kim…and it happened a city over from your home. Get it together. I would be much more interested with the developing facts behind a mass murder in Thousand Oaks, CA, that went down late last night Kim! But you really blew this one big time! Massively! Kris Jenner needs have a heart to heart with you! Mass shooting right in ur state & as ALWAYS none of ur fam say shhh, WHY would any of you? U all have armed guards 24/7 on you, F the rest of us right? Don’t preach to me on gun control HYPOCRITE, MAKE UR MONEY #ThousandOaks You are aware that there was a mass shooting one town over, right? The thing is, Kim was likely unaware of this horrific massacre at the time the Tweets went live. Based on the similarity of the messages, as well as how they were posted back-to-back, they were almost definitely scheduled to go up when they did, at some point before the aforecited bar patrons were killed. And Kardashian has actually been a vocal proponent of gun control in the past. In February, following a mass shooting in Florida, Kim earned our praise for responding as follows online: “We owe it to our children and our teachers to keep them safe while at school. Prayers won’t do this: action will. Congress, please do your job and protect Americans from senseless gun violence.” So this is one important topic on which the star has been admirably vocal. Still, the unfortunate timing of Kim’s Tweets here coincide with Kardashian having to recently apologize for using the R-Word in video. She may be best served by explaining the situation and issuing a statement about the shooting and gun control in general, simply to avoid another scandal. Not that what folks think about Kim Kardashian is remotely the point right now. What politicians think about the state of our country and the role guns play in it is infinitely more pressing. Jenelle Evans Talks Cosmetic Surgery: I’m Almost 30 But I Look Like I’m 20!

Like so many of her co-stars in the Teen Mom franchise, Jenelle Evans has had a fair amount of work done . Unlike those ladies, however, Jenelle is widely despised for her violent, abusive behavior, which means folks on the social media feel much more comfortable commenting on her appearance. Of course, Jenelle only makes the situation worse when she offers up boasts about her beauty that would induce eye-rolls even they came from a top supermodel. So while we might have a shred of sympathy for Jenelle (it's probably in there if we really dig deep), there's no denying that she put herself in this situation. Take a look: 1. Stylin’ and Profilin’ We probably don’t need to tell you that Jenelle thinks quite highly of herself. Not surprisingly, this arrogance extends to her appearance. 2. Laying Low Jenelle recently took a hiatus from social media following the release of a 911 call in which she accused husband David Eason of assaulting her and breaking her collarbone. 3. Life on the Land Following her recent return to Instagram, however, Evans has been thirstier than ever, posting daily videos in which she converses with fans while strolling around her property. 4. Grade A-Material All of Jenelle’s videos have to be seen to be believed, but her latest is really a doozy. 5. Jenelle Goes Off Here’s 26 minutes of Jenelle’s rants from the past 24 hours (!!!) compiled into one convenient mega-clip. 6. For the Sake of Your Sanity Don’t worry, we’re offering you a handy guide to the most bonkers moments so that you don’t have to watch the whole thing. View Slideshow

Taylor Swift: Mocked by Pundits, Comedians for Failed Political Endorsement

Taylor Swift shocked most of the free world several weeks ago when she came out of the woods and threw her support behind a pair of Democratic political candidates in Tennessee. In a heartfelt and lengthy Instagram post, the singer endorsed Jim Cooper for House of Representatives in her native state and Phil Bredesen for Senate. How did her preferred nominees do? Well… Cooper defeated Jody Bell by a whopping 35 points in what was clearly a not very competitive race. But Bredesen failed to help Democrats gain a majority over Republicans in the Senate. He lost by about 14 points to Marsha Blackburn. Oh well, right? You can’t win ’em all and the important thing is that Swift used her platform for something she believes in, prompting an enormous surge in voter registration by doing so . Nope, sorry. That wasn’t the important thing according to at least one Conservative pundit out there. Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to Twitter after Bredsen’s failed bid to rub his loss in the face of the pop star, something totally normal and mature for her to do. “Hey @taylorswift13, haters gonna hate. #shakeitoff,” Ingraham wrote following the election results. Ingraham has a history of going after young singer, as she previously labeled Ariana Grande as spoiled and entitled . In this case, however, she wasn’t the only famous person to cite Swift’s endorsement in her summary of the midterm elections. Stephen Colbert also poked fun at the Tennessee Senator outcome during his live episode of The Late Show. “I guess Tay-Tay didn’t have that much sway-sway, and Blackburn’s support for the Trump administray-stray eventually outweighed-weigh the president’s support for higher teacher pay-pay at the end of the day-day,” he joked. He poorly joked, we should add. After failing to offer her support for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and after remaining silent for years on basically all social issues, Swift took social media followers by surprise exactly one month ago. “In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,” she wrote at the outset of her unexpected endorsement at the time. She continued: “I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. “I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent.” What issues did Taylor have with eventual winner Blackburn? “She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. “She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. “These are not MY Tennessee values.” In the end, Swift’s message earned her mockery from Donald Trump and a few others out there. But we hope she was not dismayed from getting more involved in the future. She has a very powerful voice. It would be a shame if she chose not to use it. Sinead O’Connor: I Don’t Want to Spend Time with White People Ever Again!

Sinead O’Connor has been a controversial figure for a few decades, now. She has recently converted to Islam and goes by Shuhada’ Davitt, but that is not the source of his latest controversy The issue is a tweet in which she says that she never wants to “spend time with white people” ever again. “I’m terribly sorry,” Sinead’s tweet begins. She continues: “What I’m about to say is something so racist I never thought my soul could ever feel it.” “But truly I never wanna spend time with white people again,” she writes. That is such a head-scratcher, but she does offer a strange definition of “white people.” In parentheses, she writes: “(if that’s what non-muslims are called).” We don’t claim to be experts in theology, but that word would probably be kafir , not “white people.” “Not for one moment, for any reason,” Sinead makes clear. “They are disgusting.” Regardless of her religious adherence, Sinead O’Connor is very, very white. Converting does not change that, and she’s hardly the only white Muslim — which makes her statement so much stranger. Unfortunately, that was only one tweet of many. Sinead followed up her controversial tweet: “Interesting to see if Twitter bans this when it allows people like Trump and Milbank spew the satanic filth upon even my country,” she wrote. Twitter has not, as of Wednesday afternoon, done anything of the sort to her tweet. On top of that, the 51-year-old folk singer seemed eager to get into heated religious discourse. “How come so called christian and jewish theologians,” her question begins. She interrupts herself to claim: “(the christian theologians being atheists and satanists actually in practice, though they know it not).” Sinead continues: “never talk about the smashing of their enemies babies heads on rocks which in all over their psalms?” What she means to ask is why don’t members of other Abrahamic faiths who claim that Islam is violent because of the Qur’an when their own holy books have similar content. She then promptly answers her own question.  “BTW if one IS an intelligent theologian and has taken the journey,” she tweets. “One would know there is no more talk of ancient violence in the Q’ran as the Tanukh, the Bible, or The sodding Mahabarata,” she writes. The Tanakh (which stands for Torah, Neviim, and Ketuvim) is the holy book of the Jewish people, known as the Old Testament in Christianity. The Mahabharata is one of the oldest Sanskrit texts of India, and describes the Bharata dynasty. “And,” she concludes. “Its ALL EQUALLY IRELLEVANT TO OUR TIMES.” Which makes one wonder why she brought up old-timey scriptural violence in the first place. So, there are a few obvious things to unpackage. Her tweet isn’t racist , exactly, it’s just hostile, prejudiced, argumentative, and deeply confused. She is a white woman, in terms of what that term actually means. If she’d said that she didn’t want to hang out with non-Muslims ever again, that would be prejudiced and obnoxious. But remember that she has been making impulsive and sometimes offensive statements for decades. Just one year ago, Sinead O’Connor recorded a disturbing video in which she shared that she was suicidal. She probably converted in the hopes that it will bring her peace, but lashed out online because she cannot help herself. Sinead O’Connor has been an outspoken critic of organized religion for a very long time. Unfortunately, her confrontational approach is sometimes off-putting, even to those who share her views. At the end of her Twitter rant, she did at least acknowledge how bizarre her social media messages have been. “Final word,” she wrote. “If its ‘Crazy’ to care. Then by all means, spank my ass and call me Fruity loops : )” We hope that she is getting whatever help and support she needs in this time. Perhaps her newly found religious community can help. Amber Portwood: Threatening Suicide Over Teen Mom?!

Amber Portwood sure has come a long way, huh? If you look at footage from the early seasons of Teen Mom and compare them to the latest episodes, she almost doesn't seem to be the same person. But there is one thing that the Amber of then and the Amber of now share … And that is the ability to have a breakdown at any given moment over absolutely anything. For the past few days, she's been struggling with some issues pertaining to being a reality star — which, you know, is kind of fair. We just didn't know she was feeling this low about it. 1. Oh, Amber … If you’ve kept up with Teen Mom over the years, then you know that Amber has had more than her fair share of struggles. 2. What Started It All She got pregnant as a teenager, for example — that wasn’t easy. 3. A Bad Combination She definitely wasn’t mature enough to have a kid, and at the time, neither was Gary Shirley. And they certainly weren’t mature enough to be in a serious relationship. 4. Yikes He antagonized her for fun, she actually physically abused him more than once … it was all very, very bad. 5. Also This Oh, and did we mention that Amber had a very serious drug problem throughout all of this? 6. What a Mess Eventually Amber went to prison for three counts of domestic violence — all felonies — and Gary met Kristina, the woman who is now his wife. View Slideshow

Jeremy Vuolo Accused of Cultural Appropriation by His Own Fans

As much as we enjoy photos of Jinger Duggar’s family , this latest photo was weird … and controversial. Jeremy Vuolo shared a strange image of him with baby Felicity and a Native American tipi. Followers are accusing him of cultural appropriation. Jeremy Vuolo shared a curious picture on Instagram. In the snap, he is holding baby Felicity while being obscured by what looks like fog. Before them is a miniature tipi (also spelled teepee). “Time for reflection,” Jeremy captioned the post, as if that explained anything. It’s unclear if he is referring to the presence of a mirror in the photo. He may have instead meant, on a more serious note, that he’s reflecting upon Native American culture. Some fans were confused. “What is this supposed to mean?” one commenter asks. Others are worried that he’s misusing another culture’s symbols and traditions. “If there is a deeper meaning behind this post please do share,” another commenter implores. “If not,” they continue. “Please know that taking elements of another culture (especially one that has been as mistreated as Native Americans).” That commenter concludes: “and using them flippantly for your own artistic design is completely inappropriate.” Followers continued to try to figure out what Jeremy’s post was all about. “I googled it, guys,” one commenter shares. “And some places are saying November is Native American month.” “Perhaps as ‘Thanksgiving’ comes it’s a moment to reflect on the atrocities inflicted on the first nations people,” another suggested. That would be very seasonally appropriate, folks. But others were concerned. “It’s fairly regularly accepted that cultural appropriation is insensitive,” writes another. “Benefitting from someone else’s culture,” another writes, is “not OK.” Some jumped to some very different conclusions about Jeremy’s post. “Why teepee?” one asked bluntly. “Are you racist too?” Another jumped to a conclusion on the opposite end of the spectrum. “Are you Native American?” one asked. “Hard to understand the meaning of the pic,” another noted. “I am Apache though, so if you are that’s great.” The Apache nation is not known for tipis. Tipis are sometimes mistakenly attributed to all Native Americans, but were and are in fact unique to people of the Plains region of North America. (Tipis are still used for some ceremonies, if no longer used for dwellings) Native American cultures in other regions used different types of dwellings, including elaborate structures. It’s understandable that people would be on their guard about Native American cultural heritage being misused by white people. But one follower commented that this is not what is happening. “Ya’ll, he is in Oklahoma at a Native American history museum,” the commenter writes. “Chill!!!!” Tipis are often the subject of misunderstanding. While tipis are conceptually similar to the European lavvu, they are part of a few Native American cultures and are not for anyone else to misuse. The Native American cultural heritage more likely to be misused are things like war bonnets and terms like “spirit animal.” But it doesn’t look like Jeremy Vuolo is doing any of that. We’re happy to call out cultural appropriation or other wrongdoings when we see it. But that’s not what was happening here. With context, we see that he was practicising cultural appreciation in a museum. Let’s save our outrage for the people and actions that deserve it.
