Big Brother Recap: The Surprise Eviction Divides the House

It was the end of the line for one houseguest on Wednesday’s special eviction episode of Big Brother.  The host once again introduced herself as “Julie Chen Moonves,” meaning she’s brushing off all of the controversy she stirred up on Thursday night.  When the episode kicked off, the houseguests looked genuinely blindsided when they were told eviction night was coming one night early.  “One should always expect the unexpected,” said Julie, who was clearly surprised the houseguests were not shocked.  We then got to learn about what happened over the past few days, and Sam was pissed to be put on the block for the fourth time.  “These people don’t want to hurt me,” she says. “They just want the money.” While that made sense, Sam was adamant she wanted to win the “motherf—— veto.” Sam felt safe … for now.  In her mind, Tyler was going to keep her safe until final two, so she felt like JC would be the one heading out the door during the surprise episode.  Kaycee, Angela, and Tyler watched JC from the HOH room, and they could see that he was visibly defeated.  He was alone following Brett’s eviction and feels like he has no fight left in him.  JC used this to his advantage when he chatted with Tyler about being on the block.  “I need to remind you I’m your friend, not your pawn,” JC said, adding: “If you win the veto and you pull me off, [Angela] has to put Kaycee.” But this only further turned Tyler against him because he felt like JC was putting him in an impossible spot.  At the veto competition, Kaycee continued her winning streak, and Tyler continued to worry even after she decided against using the power.  “Dammit, I hate this game sometimes, man,” Tyler said to viewers. “I gotta do what I gotta do to win, but that means I have to backstab some of the best people.” At the eviction, Sam was sent packing with a vote of 2-0, and she was surprised.  Upon exiting, she stayed classy and asked someone to deal with her belongings. In her chat with Julie, she never threw anyone under the bus, but she looked mad as hell.  Kaycee, Tyler, and JC competed in the “What The Bleep?” competition and it played out as follows: Round 1: JC & Tyler get a point  Round 2: JC gets a point  Round 3: No one gets a point Round 4: Everyone gets a point Round 5: Everyone gets a point Round 6: JC & Tyler get a point  Round 7: JC & Tyler get a point Oh yes, JC actually won a competition! Given that Tyler has been the one not keeping his word, it would make sense for him to be the target.  However, there’s still a veto to play. Will Kaycee win ANOTHER veto?  Who will go home?  We don’t have long to wait to find out because another episode airs tonight at 9/8c on CBS.  View Slideshow: Big Brother: Meet the Most Controversial Houseguests

Bristol Palin Blasts Farrah Abraham: We Are NOTHING Alike!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Bristol Palin will be joining the cast of Teen Mom OG for the show’s upcoming eighth season. Bristol is one of two new cast members replacing the fired Farrah Abraham , the other being former The Challenge star Cheyenne Floyd. But Farrah has become desperate in her efforts to remain relevant as of late, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that she decided to launch an attack against the more high profile of her usurpers. Yes, for about a month now, Farrah has been talking smack about Bristol every chance she gets. And of course, she’s been favoring the old “why are you so obsessed with me?!” card and accusing Bristol of biting her style. Bristol appeared on Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM show earlier this week, and the unhinged host showed little interest in vaccinating Palin from the infectious disease that is Farrah:  “Farrah had said something about you, saying, ‘She looks like she wants to be me,’” McCarthy said At first, Palin was sympathetic and allowed for the possibility that she and Farrah have suffered similar mistreatment by the press: “Girlfriend. I watch the show. I kind of felt bad,” she said about Abraham. “I know how it feels to be judged off the bat. I feel like I walk into a room and people just whisper.”  From there, Bristol went into mild shade-throwing mode, stating that she pities poor Farrah for the obvious difficulty she’s experiencing in her post-MTV life: “I watch the show. Maybe she’s just misunderstood. Poor girl, I feel so bad.” When McCarthy directly quoted Abraham as saying, “She’s trying to be me,” Palin finally lost it. “Girlfriend, you could not pay me to want to be anything like you,” Bristol said. “Honestly. No, I’m not trying to be like her.” From there, Bristol was off on a rant, confirming that those who have had actual interactions with Farrah share the opinion of those who have only watched her from afar — the girl is batsh-t crazy. “This is the only time I’m going to address it. I can’t stand people like that,” Bristol raged. “They are just searching for attention. So, it’s poke, poke, poke. No. You’re like that on the show because that’s how you are.” We didn’t think Farrah could sink any lower than she already had, but amazingly she’s found a way to look like the psychotic one in a feud with a freakin’ Palin. Kanye West: I’m Moving to Chicago Whether Kim Likes It or Not!

You already knew that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West love Chicago , but you were aware the couple also has an affection for the Illinois city of the same name? We apologize for that sad bit of dad-joke word play, but Kimye makes it too easy with their “eccentric” baby names. All awful kidding aside, Kim and Kanye named their daughter Chicago for a reason — it’s Kanye’s hometown, and he credits the city with helping to transform him into the man he is today. We can only assume Chi-Town has a magnet school that specializes in teaching children how to throw egomaniacal tantrums and design horrendously ugly sneakers. Just kidding, Yeezy! Anyway, the point is, Kanye’s relationship with Chicago is not unlike his marriage — full of love, but very, very complicated. Speaking with TMZ this week, ‘Ye revealed his desire to return to the Midwest and remain there for the rest of his days: “I gotta let y’all know that I’m moving back to Chicago and I’m never leaving again,” West told the outlet. Unfortunately, there are some problems with Kanye’s fantasy. For starters, trying to imagine Kim digging into some deep dish while sandwiched between two portly Bears fans is like picturing Kid Rock enjoying high tea at Buckingham Palace. On top of that, Kim recently lambasted one of Chicago’s most beloved son in a tirade that many interpreted as an attack on the city itself. The beef had to do with Kanye’s charity and his alleged lack of involvement in the foundations that bear his name. Chicago rapper Rhymefest was particularly harsh on Yeezy, leading Kim to clap back in epic fashion: “U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s @RHYMEFEST,” the mother of three tweeted. “You’re over levergenging [sic] Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation [sic].” Chicagoans went off on Kim in response, and as far as anyone knows the feud still isn’t settled. So Kim probably isn’t thrilled with the idea of leaving her beloved Calabasas behind for a city where she’s even more widely despised than she is in the rest of the country. The situation has led to another round of Kim-Kanye divorce rumors , but we think the internet is getting a little ahead of itself on this one. In all likelihood, this just another one of Yeezy’s weird attempts at humor. View Slideshow: Kanye West Debuts New Album, Raps About Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal

Julie Chen: Will She Leave Big Brother, Too?

At this point, Julie Chen is as synonymous with Big Brother as racism, homophobia and stunning evictions. And yet fans of this long-running reality show are now refreshing their browsers every other minute in order to learn the answer to the following question: Is Chen about to say goodbye as host? Questions about Chen’s future on CBS in general are understandably prominent at the moment, considering she just left The Talk . The veteran panelist did so amidst a sexual misconduct scandal surrounding husband Les Moonves, who just lost his job as CBS President due to allegations that he forced himself upon multiple women a couple decades ago. In a video message that aired on Tuesday’s edition of The Talk ( is that not the dumbest name ever for a program?!? ), Chen told viewers that she simply needs to be around her family as much as possible these days. “Right now, I need to spend more time at home with my husband and young son,” she said rather simply. We wonder if the intense criticism that came Chen’s way last week also played a role in this decision. Upon signing off from Big Brother a few days ago, Chen showed obvious support for Moonves by attaching his last name to hers for the first time ever on air. Social media blew up over this move. Is it shocking that Chen is standing by her man? Not really. But many viewers were still aghast over such a public display because Moonves is accused of some pretty heinous stuff . And he hasn’t exactly denied it, either . View Slideshow: Julie Chen Shows Subtle Support for Husband, Gets Destroyed on Twitter So, this all brings us back to Big Brother. Chen is expected to stay on as host through the Season 20 finale on September 26. According to Us Weekly, no decision has been made beyond this episode, with various network executives thinking it’s best if she just goes away. They figure the less association CBS has overall with Moonves or anyone in his family, the better. If Chen does leave – and this remains a big IF – season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby would reportedly be under consideration as her replacement. The same can be said, according to this tabloid’s sources, of Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Ross Mathews and Big Brother Canada host Arisa Cox. TMZ, meanwhile, claims that Chen wants to return to Big Brother and that the current plan is for her to do so… … IF Big Brother is renewed, that is. Forget Chen’s future on the show, this website writes . The future of the actual show is in question. So that’s where things stand at the moment. Many unanswered questions are out there. Would YOU want to see Chen return as host? And would YOU want to see Big Brother return for Season 21?

Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: What Should We Expect on Season 15?

Are you ready to experience ALL the feels, Grey's Anatomy fans? Consider yourself warned and scroll down to find out what's on tap: 1. 15 Seasons of Feels The Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 poster promises that viewers will experience ALL the feels in 2018-2019. 2. Will Meredith Find Love Again? YES! “The question this season, is not ‘Will Meredith Grey find love again,’ but ‘With whom will she find love?'” show runner Krista Vernoff has teased. 3. With Whom?!? DeLuca? Chris Carmack’s new surgeon? Greg Germann’s Dr. Thomas Koracick? There are plenty of attractive options. 4. The Mystery Deepens “I can’t tease who she will end up with,” Vernoff told TVLine. “But I can say that it is going to be a joyful, funny, complicated journey to get there.” 5. Wait, Doesn’t She Hook Up with DeLuca? This scene from the Season 15 trailer certainly makes it appear that way, but perhaps it was a one-night stand or even just a fantasy. 6. What About the Love Triangle to End All Triangles? Bristol Palin: DONE With Teen Mom OG? Demanding Her Own Show?!

It's only been two months since Bristol Palin joined the cast of Teen Mom: OG , but it seems the daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is already looking to move on from the show. We suppose it shouldn't come as a huge shock that Bristol doesn't feel much in the way of loyalty toward her employers, given that her mother just up and quit being in charge of a whole ginormous state in the middle of a term. It seems the apple really didn't fall far from the tree in this case, and like her famous mom, Bristol believes she's destined for TV mega-stardom. Of course, it's anyone's guess as to why she thinks that, as thus far audiences have been as indifferent toward Bristol as they are toward Sarah. The Palins seem to have a distorted view of just how fascinating the rest of the world finds them, and in Bristol's case, that egomania is resulting in some intense conflicts with her Teen Mom bosses and co-stars … 1. Back In Action After spending some time away from the spotlight, Bristol is returning to public life in a huge way — with a starring role on one of TV’s most popular reality shows. 2. Big Shoes to Fill When the time came to replace Farrah Abraham, TMOG producers reportedly felt pressured to do something big. 3. Times Have Changed The original girls (the OGs, if you will) were unknowns when the show started, but now they’re full-blown stars with millions of social media followers. Unless the new additions to the case existed on a similar plane of popularity, they would likely be viewed as disappointments. 4. All-Star Casting So it was that Morgan J. Freeman and company focused on two established talents — The Challenge star Cheyenne Floyd, and Bristol Palin, who was once the most famous teen mom in the country. 5. Big Bucks Bristol Production insiders say Bristol is already being paid more than any of her co-stars, and it looks as thought the investment is not paying off for producers. 6. A Little Late What the top brass at MTV failed to consider is that Bristol’s fame peaked ten years ago, a time when much of the current TMOG audience was in elementary school, and thus, generally indifferent toward matters of national politics. Emily Simpson SLAMS Kelly Dodd for Vicious Attack on Husband!

Though viewers saw Vicki Gunvalson flip out on The Real Housewives of Orange County , she wasn’t the only Housewife to get a little hot under the collar. When Kelly Dodd criticized Emily Simpson’s husband — when she called him a “b–ch” — Emily lashed out, even threatening to kill Kelly. Emily cooled off and apologized, and she’s owning up to her words and actions. But she says that she’s the only one who’s doing so. “I am in no way proud of my behavior at Tamra’s party,” Emily admits in a Bravo blog post. In her own defense, Emily says: “I feel like any wife who respects her marriage and her husband would have become as irate as I did.” “However,” Emily adds. “I am the ONLY one taking any responsibility for my own actions that evening.” “And let’s be honest,” Emily says, preparing to school her co-star. “For a ‘death threat’ to be actionable, the other party has to have an imminent and reasonable fear that their life is in jeopardy.” “The fact that Kelly continued to scream, ‘Hit me! Hit me!’ and was laughing means she was not scared for her life,” Emily reasons. She says that Kelly has been targeted Emily’s words so that she does not have to look inward. “Kelly’s constant focusing on what I said that night is simply a deflection from dealing with her own abhorrent behavior,” Emily says. “I have to say I’m quite disappointed in the other ladies,” Emily continues. Emily asks: “Did anyone else notice that Tamra, in her last blog, says Shane likes to cause drama when all he did was stand at a table and have a nice, quiet conversation with Steve?” Tamra’s last blog was more or less all about accusing Shane of being dramatic. Emily spies hypocrisy in Tamra’s accusations. “Yet she makes ZERO mention of Kelly’s behavior,” Emily points out. “Can Shane ever catch a break? Is he ever allowed to speak?” Emily then points out that Shane was in a no-win scenario. “If he said nothing, he would be attacked for being spineless,” Emily imagines. “If he speaks up, he’s attacked for causing drama.” “At the very least, it is laughable that the queen of ‘That’s my opinion!’ is telling Shane to stay out of it,” Emily says, referring to the famous meme of Tamra screaming. “I am happy that Kelly and I had the opportunity to sit down face to face and work it out,” Emily writes. Emily continues: “I truly believe you can work things out by owning your own actions, forgiving, and moving on.” “I feel that we both said what we wanted to say,” Emily says. “And we both took responsibility for our own part in the evening.” Emily adds: “I even texted Kelly after meeting with her and reiterated how I was happy that we chatted and worked things out.” Despite that peacemaking, Emily points out that Kelly hasn’t given up on her insistence that Shane is a “b–ch.” It’s part of human nature for people to get upset and defensive when their loved ones are targeted for criticism and ridicule. And it goes with the Real Housewife franchise’s territory for people to have explosive arguments on camera. Viewers expect it. It’s how the stars respond after the fact that shows fans what their character is really like. Emily, at least, is owning what she did and what she said. We do hope that, in the future, Emily avoids issuing any death threats. It’s not cool. View Slideshow: The Real Housewives of Orange County Premiere Just Gave Us So Much More Hope For Season 13

Wendy Williams to Justin Bieber: Hailey Baldwin’s Too Young For You, Bro!

Wendy Williams has a long history of saying the worst possible thing in every imaginable scenario. But amazingly, she might find that a large segment of the celeb-obsessed population is in total agreement with her latest hot take. As you’ve likely heard by now, Justin Bieber married Hailey Baldwin in a small private ceremony in New York City last week. Justin is 24 and Hailey is 21, which for most of the 20th century was about the age at which people got married. But these days, that’s considered to be rather young for such a consequential decision, particularly as the divorce rate in this country creeps ever closer to 150 percent. Throw in fame, an extremely short engagement and a massive wealth discrepancy, and the likelihood of Justin and Hailey waltzing to “One Less Lonely Girl” at their 75th anniversary begins to look rather minuscule. Ever the Debbie Downer, Wendy was quick to pour cold water on this happy young couple’s hopes and dreams by pointing out that the odds are very much against Justin and Hailey. “They’ve been on and off allegedly for years, but I don’t care what your background is, these days, 21 is too young to be getting married,” Williams said on a recent episode of her show. “I know she’s a model, but she’s not one of the biggies. The biggest thing that’s happened to her is that she’s with Bieber,” Wendy added. “The biggest thing that’s happened to this family in a long time is that they’re attached to Bieber, who’s attached to 250 million dollars. “I just feel like 21 is too young to be getting married, and he’s only 24, and that’s still too young in this particular day and time,” the daytime host continued. Williams went on to slam Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, for his alleged eagerness to hop aboard the Bieber gravy train. “Shame on you Stephen Baldwin for co-signing on your 21-year-old daughter getting married,” she said. “I think the Baldwins look at Bieber as a cash cow… I think Stephen Baldwin likes to be more relevant again to young people in pop culture and Bieber is a quick way to do that,” Williams added. As though her pessimism wasn’t abundantly apparent already, Williams went on to add: “I don’t believe that this is a marriage that will last.” We’re torn on this one, as Stephen Baldwin is a known sketch-ball, and he probably is thinking about how his daughter’s relationship will affect his career. But on the other hand, Wendy Williams is the absolute worst , and it sucks that she’s going to such great lengths to rain on this young couple’s parade. So now we all have one more reason to root for Justin and Hailey — if they last, it’ll royally piss off daytime’s queen of mean. View Slideshow: Justin Bieber: All His Sexual Conquests, RANKED!
