Kim Kardashian: Please Don’t Hate Me for Meeting with Trump!

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian did a good deed. And it didn’t have anything to do with gratuitous nudity, believe it or not. Nope, while Kim usually brightens the world with selfies or fashion or mindless reality television trash, she used her powers for good by going to the White House to meet with Donald Trump about a woman named Alice Johnson. You probably know the details on this already — the story and the photo of Kim meeting Trump were pretty widely mocked. But just in case you missed it, Alice Johnson is a 63-year-old grandma who was sentenced to life in prison without parole for non-violent drug charges — her first arrest, even — all the way back in 1996. Kim took an interest in Alice, who was obviously unbelievably failed by the justice system, and she used her voice to help take the issue directly to the president. It worked: Trump granted Alice clemency, and she was released from prison on Wednesday . After hearing the good news, Kim tweeted that she was “grateful” to Trump, Jared Kushner, and to everyone who helped achieve the goal, because “her commutation is inspirational and gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance.” “I hope to continue this important work by working together with organizations who have been fighting this fight for much longer than I have and deserve the recognition,” she added. So that’s really nice, right? It was weird to see Kim at the White House with Donald Trump who is somehow still the president , of course, but it’s an undeniably good thing that Alice Johnson was able to be released. But still, lots and lots of people have been mocking Kim for what happened, and she acknowledges that in a new interview she did with Van Jones. For one, she admitted she was starstruck — not by Trump, but by the White House itself. “I never get starstruck,” she said. “I was starstruck over the Oval Office … It really felt powerful, and felt like, you can just feel the history in there.” “I just took a second to take it all in, and then we talked about it.” As for Trump, she explained that he told her that the situation with Alice “just isn’t fair,” and that “he knew that this is the right thing to do, and he said that from the start after he had heard her whole story and situation and he knew it was the right thing to do.” When it was mentioned to her that many other celebrities have been avoiding the White House these days, she said that “Kanye’s already given him legitimacy … you know, in that way.” Yeah, he has . Kim didn’t think she would be “used” in any kind of weird way for her celebrity, but “at the end of the day, he heard me out. We got the job done.” “I juat have to stay focused, and I have to know that if he is the only person in the world that could have done this for her, why wouldn’t I go talk to that person, if I had the opportunity to?” she asked. “Forget about my fears. Forget about my life. That was the right thing to do.” That’s actually pretty admirable, right? So after all that, she still met with Trump, despite knowing how hard she’d be mocked and ridiculed, because Trump was the person who could help Alice, and she knew that was more important than her own image. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Brawls with Jen Harley Over Dead Dog

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley may not belong together. We know this statement may come as a shock to some, but we just really get the impression that this Jersey Shore cast member and his on-again/off-again/on-again girlfriend really ought to be off again. For good. We’ve arrived at this bold conclusion following multiple reports that Ronnie and Jen got into a fight on Thursday in Las Vegas. Like, an actual physical fight. According to Us Weekly, the intense disagreement got underway after Harley showed up in Las Vegas, where Ronnie is filming scenes for the new season of Jersey Shore. This was not a planned visit… and it quickly deteriorated into a gigantic and very ugly mess. “ Ronnie and Jen have been fighting over their daughter,” an insider tells Us Weekly, elaboraring as follows: “Ronnie has been filming the show in Vegas the last couple of days and Jen wouldn’t tell him where their daughter is. She showed up to the hotel where they were filming. “Jen lunged, spit and shoved Ronnie. Hotel security got involved, who then called the Las Vegas police department.” Does this sounds a tad bit insane? Yes. But remember: Ronnie and Jen engaged in a vicious social media argument just a few weeks ago, one that entailed Ronnie labeling his estranged lover a ” cum dumpster ” and Harley responding by saying Ronnie was a “coke head” and awful father. (Yes, father . Ronnie and Jen welcomed a daughter together in early April. God help us all.) But it sounds as if their relationship is about to be tested once again. “When police got to the hotel, they couldn’t find Jen,” the Us Weekly insider adds. “She left the hotel at that point. They are still trying to find her for questioning.” This source also says that spitting on someone in Las Vegas is considered a misdemeanor, which is sort of hilarious. Isn’t someone spit on in Las Vegas about once per hour? Meanwhile, a follow-up to this initial story claims that Ortiz-Magro and Harley were arguing was the death of their dog. We’ll let the tabloid insider explain what allegedly transpired: “Their pit bull died. That’s part of why they were fighting. “Jen was supposed to be taking care of the dogs when he was away filming, and Ronnie came home to their house and found the dog dead in the pool.” Yikes. Going back to their back-and-forth in late April, the duo exchanged insults on social media and both accused each other of cheating… and then appeared to get into an actual brawl on Instagram Live. “Put your hands on me again! Nev Schulman Accuser Files Police Report Over Alleged Sexual Misconduct

Back in may, Catfish host Nev Schulman was accused of sexual misconduct . The woman who brought forward her #MeToo story had appeared on the show, and says that she worried that he might do the same with other women. Now, she has revealed that she filed her report about the alleged incident with the police. Ayissha Morgan tells The Blast that she officially filed two police reports related to her allegations of sexual misconduct that she leveled towards Nev Schulman. She says that both reports were filed on May 25. The reports, filed with the Houston Police Department, were made “for what happened during my participation on the show.” She accuses a production assistant of having plied her with alcohol in order to take advantage of her. She also accuses Schulman, the host of Catfish , of having sexually harassed her. (Though sexual harassment is never okay, it is important to note that Ayissha is openly gay, which adds another upsetting layer to the alleged harassment) Speaking to The Blast , Ayissha explains what that process of speaking to the police was like. “I have provided them with my statement and detailed accounts of what I went through.” She has a general message for readers who are curious about her life — from her appearance on Catfish a few years ago and from her new accusations. “I ask that you please respect my privacy moving forward.” Of course. She does not want to answer any more particular questions, in case it interfere with the police as they look into the matter. “And allow those who are handling the investigation do so without interference.” Of course. Investigators prefer to be the only ones asking questions. When Ayissha published her accusations, she did so with a great deal of thought, and included a note, writing: “I don’t want attention or money.” So many accuse the accusers of hoping to somehow turn their accusations into fame and fortune, even though most of what accusers face is ridicule. “Help me spread awareness.” She admits that she feels tormented by the idea that Schulman may have harassed other women while she has remained silent. “This is a serious topic that I would never lie about.” Allegations of sexual misconduct is about as serious as it gets. “That would be disgusting for me to lie about something as serious as this. Please understand.” Schulman is said to have repeatedly verbally harassed Ayissha while the two were not on camera. At one point, he allegedly told her: “I have a big d–k. I would tear your a– up.” There are situations in which that is an okay thing to say to a person. When you are a TV host and your guest is very much not interested is not one of those times. Nev Schulman has denied the allegations . MTV is making sure that Catfish does not have any further incidents by suspending production on the current season. It is always smart to play it safe for many reasons, in terms of ethics, public image, and even potential liability issues. Unfortunately, sexual misconduct is both extremely difficult to prove or disprove. Ayissha Morgan may need to find a corroborating witness — perhaps she already has one — or at least an outcry witness in order for police to be able to build a case from her report. Queen Elizabeth II to Meghan Markle: You Better Have a Son!

It’s been less than three weeks since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married , but the couple isn’t wasting any time when it comes to the business of starting a family. We’ve known from the start that Harry and Meghan want to have kids ASAP , but now the issue is somewhat complicated by those stodgy Brits and their dodgy rules about inheritance. You see, when Harry and Meg tied the knot they were granted the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex. This is one of those customs that no one understands but has been observed since time immemorial regardless. Those titles were created specifically for Harry and Meghan, and as far we can tell the sole reason is that “Prince and Prince’s Wife” just doesn’t have much of a ring to it. Anyway, there have been lots of jokes about the pressure on Meghan to give birth to a male heir, but the royal family is such an absurd institution that her kids may actually be punished if they dare to commit the unpardonable offense of lacking ding-dongs. Yes, People magazine confirmed this week that if Harry and Meghan only have daughters, the girls will not inherit the Sussex title . Yet again, no one at Buckingham Palace could give you a satisfying explanation for why this is. But you can bet several people would look at you like a blithering dolt for asking about it. The news doesn’t come as much of a shock, because wangs are of the utmost importance in the Brit’s peerage system. But like so much of the news you hear about in 2018, it does make you want to go, “Really?! That’s still going on?” Of course, rule changes are not unheard of, and it’s anyone’s guess who will be occupying the throne by the time Harry and Meghan’s currently-non-existent kids reach adulthood. Queen Elizabeth II is 92, so unless she turns out to be a cyborg — as we’ve long suspected — then it will probably be Prince Charles, Prince William, or someone else entirely. Will means the current system could be tossed out the window entirely. On a lighter note, QE2 has entirely turned her back on Meg and Harry. In fact, she gave them a freakin’ country house as a wedding gift this week. We’re guessing stuff like that really softens the blow of your kids not being granted some meaningless title. Of course, this is an absurd conversation for to even be having at this point, as Harry and Meghan might not even have daughters. And even if they do, Suits: The Next Generation will probably be a massive hit on the USA Network by then, which means the girls probably won’t be hurting for work. Jersey Shore: New Season Filming in Las Vegas!!

Since well before the insane Jersey Shore: Family Vacation trailer aired, fans have been eager to see their favorite disasters back on screen. And one season clearly wasn’t enough. MTV knows that. So Jersey Shore is coming back for another season — and we already know where. RadarOnline was able to uncover where Jersey Shore is filming its new season. “Nicole and Jenni are flying out to Las Vegas on a private jet tomorrow.” And this isn’t a vacation — no matter what the show is named or where it takes place, showing up on camera is a lot of work. “To start filming season two of Jersey Shore. ” Fans already knew that MTV wasn’t going to drop the series, but it’s a relief to hear that there are concrete plans in place. This on-set production source continues, announcing that the cast will include more than just Snooki and JWoww. “They are both definitely returning …” Well, we figured as much. “… Along with all of the boys!” Oh! RadarOnline reports that Mike Sorrentino and “the guys” are, according to that production source, already there to film. So, here is what we know so far about this new season: It will take place in Las Vegas, which is a recipe for a very entertaining disaster if we’ve ever heard one. Remember, normal people go to Vegas and get a little out of control. Also, the cast will be staying in a rented mansion rather than a hotel. Mansions are great settings for all sorts of things, from fictional murder mysteries to very real and dramatic realtiy shows. Their new adventures begin in the desert. However, apparently filming on this season is scheduled to wrap up on the actual Jersey shore. The source says: “They are all super excited for Season 2 and feel like this is going to be the best season yet.” That is certainly good news. Though fans have wanted Jersey Shore back on their screens for years, only in 2018 did they get their wish. It seems that they have the success of  Floribama Shore to thank. That show’s ratings made it clear to the higher-ups that there is still a huge market for people who want to watch reality stars make disastrous decisions (without residing in the White House). Sammi Giancola couldn’t come back this past season because of Ronnie. So far, we have not seen any indications that this is going to change. Ronnie seems too unstable, and Sammi staying away seems like a smart move. Even so, with so many returning cast members, this really does feel like it’s the revival series that fans have yearned for and that MTV promised. It is worth noting that the original teaser trailer did not reveal where the cast would be. They may end up filming at different locations — a new one each season — all over the country. Perhaps even all over the world. For now, though, fans can look forward to watching their tanned, trashy faves tear up the town. But hey, this is Las Vegas that we’re talking about. Jenelle Evans: I Told You! The Show Can’t Go On Without Me!

Jenelle Evans 1, MTV 0. It appears as if this controversial cable network personality has won her stand-off against producers and executives, following many weeks’ worth of speculation that Evans may be fired from Teen Mom 2 . Such rumors ran wild around the Internet because Jenelle basically initiated her own boycott of the program. After MTV fired her husband, David Eason, as a result of his many homophobic remarks, Evans refused to film. She especially took a strong stance against filming the Teen Mom 2 reunion special in New York City last month, refusing to attend unless the network footed the traveling expenses for her and David. Producers refused. And Evans remained true to her word. She skipped the taping. (And, in the process, she missed quite an explosive situation, as Briana DeJesus and/or her sister allegedly brawled on stage with Kailyn Lowry as cameras rolled.) However, Radar Online now reports that Evans has essentially come out on top in this quasi game of chicken with her bosses: She WILL be part of the reunion special after all. How is this possible? Considering the special has already been filmed? MTV has agreed to send Dr. Drew Pinsky down to North Carolina to film a separate, one-on-one interview with Evans that will be incorporated into the reunion. The network has stood strong against Eason, though, as he will play no role in this filming. “ MTV arranged for Jenelle to film with just Dr. Drew in North Carolina after she threw a temper tantrum and refused to face the other girls without David,” an insider tells Radar, adding of the arrangement: “She is scheduled to film on Sunday, but David can’t be anywhere near filming. “So either he has to leave the house or Jenelle will have to go somewhere else to film.” Either way, it’s hard not to see this as a victory for Jenelle. The veteran reality star basically went on strike and dared MTV to fire her… … and the higher-ups responded by actually heading to down to Jenelle’s hometown just to make sure she remained part of the show. It’s worth noting that her mother, Barbara Evans, and her son, Jace, both traveled and filmed the Teen Mom 2 reunion in The Big Apple the the weekend of May 19, 2018. And they may very well have some negative things to say about Jenelle. But she’s also heard it all before. She can likely handle it. Just a few weeks ago, Evans got into serious legal trouble and faced major backlash after reportedly pulling a gun on a driver during a fit of road rage. Once again, chatter swirled after this incident that the famous teenage mother may get canned. And, just to be clear, this may still end up happening. She may very well film her reunion interview and then not have her contract renewed. Scott Disick and Sofia Richie: It’s Over! Because Someone Cheated!

Scott Disick rose to fame, of course, as a cast member on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Which is kind of ironic, it turns out. Because Scott Disick cannot keep it in his pants. Indeed, multiple celebrity gossip outlets are now reporting that Sofia Richie has broken up with Disick because she thinks he cheated on her with another woman. We’ll wait for you to pick up your jaw from the floor before continuing with any further detail… All ready? All set? Has the complete and total shock of this news worn off? Okay then: “He cheated on her in Miami and she found out and told [her father] Lionel,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding: “He said he is going to cut her off and write her out of his will if she continues her relationship with Scott as he thinks he’s extremely toxic for her.” Yikes. Lionel Richie has made it clear in the past that he h opes his daughter cuts Disick loose . E! News, meanwhile, an outlet typically locked in to the happenings surrounding anything or anyone Kardashian-related, echoes this account. An insider tells this website the same thing: Disick stepped out on Richie in Miami, not very long after the stars returned from a romantic trip to St. Bart’s, and Sofia’s dad really did play a key role in the break-up. The couple was also still technically an item when Disick was spotted getting very cozy with some woman at Kanye West’s album listening party in Wyoming just a few days ago. Sofia “is upset and sad but feels like she had no choice and she couldn’t stand for being cheated on and being in such a toxic relationship,” says an E! source. This same individual adds that Disick “unphased by [Richie’s] decision” and “doesn’t seem to care too much.”  Disick, who has two daughters and a son with Kourtney Kardashian, may now “spiral out of control immediately without Sofia around ,” E! continues. Scott and Kourtney were together for about nine years (off and on, that is) until Disick spent a few weeks partying too much in the summer of 2015. Aside from once again putting booze before his loved ones, Disick allegedly hooked up at the time with an ex-girlfriend. He’s always had difficulty remaining loyal as a boyfriend. So it’s hard to say we’re blown away by these reports, although the timing is rather incredible, even for someone we trust as little as Disick. He and Richie had just taken a vacation together, during which the latter shared the following image and also wrote, in celebration of Scott’s 35th birthday, that she loves Disick . It now looks as if the dropping of this L-Bomb has blown up in Sofia’s face. Writes E!: “She is relying on her family for support and they are trying to keep her busy. She is spending her time with them and with her close friends.” People Magazine also confirms this split and also confirms that Disick’s “sloppy” actions when drunk are what led to the parting of ways. But will it be permanent? Maybe not, in Disick’s misguided view. “He thinks she might change her mind. He isn’t really taking it seriously,” a source tells People. Disick and Richie were together for about a year. Folks were taken aback to see them together in Cannes in May of 2017… and then even more taken aback when the relationship ended up being more than a fling. Kat Von D and Rafael Reyes: MARRIED!!!

Congratulations are in order for Kat Von D! And her HUSBAND, Rafael Reyes! That’s right, yesterday Kat married Rafael, also known as Leafar Seyer, his stage name with his band, Prayers. Or, well they were technically already married — they tied the knot back in February in a quickie ceremony. Back then, she took to Instagram to call Rafael “my soul’s mate, my mind’s twin, my best friend,” and he was pretty gushy about her too, calling her “the girl of my dreams.” And even though it’s only been a few months since then, it looks like they’re more in love than ever, since they had their big wedding this weekend! The whole thing really is just so sweet, and also so stylish — wait till you see Kat’s dress! But before the actual wedding — on Friday after the rehearsal dinner — Kat took to social media once again to express her absolute happiness, along with a picture of some flowers. “Such a beautifully emotional day today,” she wrote, explaining that the next day she and Rafael “will have our wedding ceremony for our close friends + family.” “This has been the sweetest, most stress-free experience where we continuously fell in love with each other all over again with each day counting down.” As for the flowers, she said that they are three carnations that a friend brought them, and that they “represent him, me, and our sweet baby boy we are adding to our family.” Because in case you missed it, she’s pregnant, too ! “All I can say right now,” Kat continued, “is that I am so grateful fo my dear friends, and for my sweet husband.” “Lastly, thank you all for the love and for understanding that starting tomorrow we will most likely be stepping away from our phones for a while to be as present as possibly on such a beautiful day.” But thankfully, Rafael did grab his phone to give us a quick little peak at the beautiful bride! Can you even handle this beautiful Beetlejuice realness?! In the caption of the photo, Rafael told us that “In a couple hours I’ll be walking down the aisle with the love of my life,” and he added “EN VIDA Y EN MUERTE,” which is what they’ve both been writing in their captions about each other for a while now. It translates to “in life and in death,” which is nice, right? We don’t have too much more information on the wedding yet, since they do seem to be off enjoying this special time together. But in case you wanted more info on that amazing dress, it’s by designer Adolfo Sanchez! A friend was also kind enough to share a photo from the reception — you can get a full look at the dress, plus the kind of decorations you’d expect from a Kat Von D wedding. The friend congratulated the couple, saying “You are both beautiful people and deserve a lifetime of happiness together. Thanks for letting me be part of your amazing wedding!” And honestly, in case you’re not getting our feelings on this, it really does look like it was an amazing wedding. For the record, this is Kat’s second marriage — she was married to tattoo artist and Ink Master judge Oliver Peck from 2003 to 2007. (She did have a string of bad relationships and engagements between then and now, but let’s not bring up such bad memories during such a happy time.) Elly Shariat, the head of a PR agency, has gone viral for the nightmare she recently lived through while flying from Las Vegas to Philadelphia on board a Southwest airline. The poor woman says the next to her was not only viewing adult entertainment while jetting through the apparently VERY friendly skies… … he was also pleasuring himself to it. For real! Shariat live-Tweeted this nauseating scenario, including the response of Southwest when she made the company aware of what was taking place. Ami Brown Really Does Have Cancer, Discovery Channel Confirms

An executive at the Discovery Channel has a very simple and very pointed message for certain fans of Alaskan Bush People. And that messages goes something like this: FOR SHAME! Speaking to Radar Online, the network’s Executive Vice President, Laurie Goldberg, opened up for the first time this week about Ami Brown’s cancer diagnosis. She and her loved ones admitted in July of 2017 that the long-time reality star had been diagnosed with a very serious form of lung cancer and that her prognosis was grim at best. Since then, various members of this famous family have kept fans apprised of Ami’s status on occasion, with the latest update being an extremely sad one: Brown has reportedly returned to the hospital . But this doesn’t mean all hope is lost, Goldberg says: “She is going to L.A. for a routine three month check-up but is optimistic and surrounded by nothing but love,” she also told Radar. In this same conversation with the aforementioned celebrity gossip website, Goldberg expressed consternation that anyone out there has been doubting Ami’s diagnosis. Do these critics really think producers and/or the Browns themselves would lie about such a thing? “Ami’s battle with cancer is very real,” Goldberg emphasis, taking those who disbelieve her to task and adding: “It is just disgusting that anyone would say her cancer is not real or that it was created for the show.” We can’t entirely fault viewers for having a few questions, of course. Reality TV in general is known for conjuring up storylines, as Jacob Roloff very recently came out and explained in a book written by this Little People, Big World star. But still. We’re talking about cancer here and we would never for a second wonder whether Ami and her children were actually lying about such a serious illness. “It’s in both lungs, in the middle and sides of the lungs,” Ami’s husband, Billy Brown, said last year. He said the cancer had been labeled as stage 3B, which is very close to the worst possible diagnosis, and continued at the time: “It hasn’t traveled to any other organs, but that’s what they’re saying is next. Any time we talk to anybody, it’s bad news.” Alaskan Bush People will be returning for Season 8, however, and we hear that Ami may still be part of the cast. “The fans will get to see her journey alongside the rest of the family on the upcoming season,” Goldberg previews, adding: “There is definitely no drama between her and anyone in the family – they love her very much and would do anything for her.” View Slideshow: Alaskan Bush People: 13 Secrets They Don’t Want You to Know No premiere date for Season 8 has been announced just yet.
