Jill Duggar is in a tough spot. She’s committed to both her dense husband, Derick Dillard, and the ultra-conservative values of her upbringing, but at the same time, she seems well aware that the core tenets of both often come into conflict with her compassionate tendencies and her belief in Christian charity. Jill has attempted to live comfortably in both worlds by distancing herself from Derick’s comments , while simultaneously standing by her man. She’s implied that she doesn’t share all of Derick’s views, but she also quit Counting On as a gesture of solidarity after he got fired from the show. Unfortunately, it seems that Jill has struck a compromise that pleases no one. Her more left-leaning fans remain unimpressed by her refusal to speak out against Derick more directly, while her conservative followers feel that Jill is undermining the beliefs she was raised with by suggesting she sometimes disagrees with her husband. It’s a conflict that keeps resulting in tense debates in the comments of her Instagram page. And Jill’s latest post has resulted in a full-blown battleground: Jill posted the above photo yesterday, along with a caption reading: “Congrats to my little Aivah on her kindergarten graduation!” She added the hashtag “#proudmadrina,” and many fans pointed out that “madrina” is Spanish for godmother. The photo comes on the heels of a series of a post in which Derick praised Donald Trump and joked about his eldest son helping to build “the Wall” along America’s southern border. For obvious reasons, many of Jill’s followers were struck by the sharp contrast of the spouse’s recent social media activity. And some went so far as to call Jill out for hypocrisy: “You’re with Latinos but you want that wall to be built… y’all funny as f–k,” wrote one follower. “Funny how Derick taught Izzy all about the Wall to keep people out, and here you are showcasing your ‘brown’ friends. Oh the hypocrisy,” commented another. “That whole ‘I can’t be a bigot, cause my bffs neighbors, cousins nephew is gay and I have no problem with him,’ schtick,” remarked a third, adding: “What mixed messages poor Israel must be getting. Racism at home and facades in public.” Of course, Jill also found some support from those who agree with her family’s more conservative views: “Typical liberal hypocrisy, intolerant of others who don’t share their beliefs,” wrote one follower. “We ‘brown’ people have been in their lives for years now, no hypocrisy,” commented another. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinions about everything. The Royal Wedding may be over, but the Royal Life has only just begun for Meghan Markle. Mere days after she captured the heart of a nation by exchanging vows with Prince Harry, Markle made her first official appearance. Not as Meghan Markle, of course. But as The Duchess of Sussex. Equipped with this new title and the perfect look to go along with it, Markle attended a 70th birthday party in honor of her father-in-law, Prince Charles. He is also the man who walked Meghan down the aisle last Saturday after Meghan’s own father fell victim to some health problems. Prince Harry and his lovely wife arrived at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday afternoon to attend a garden party for the former’s dad, a gathering that caused the newlyweds to postpone their honeymoon. It remains unclear exactly where the couple will vacation when they do finally get away from it all, but most Royal Sources assume it will be somewhere in Africa. For this festive occasion, Harry went with a classic black suit over a white button-down shirt and a blue necktie. Markle, whose fashion will now be scrutinzed for the rest of her life, donned a pale pink hat and a blush-colored Goat dress with sheer detailing. She styled her brunette hair in a chic side chignon. In photos from the party, Markle is seen sharing a laugh Charles and with Charles and Duchess Camilla, as over 6,000 people actually attended this celebration. Prince Charles does not turn 70 until November 14, but this event served to honor patronage, military affiliations and the charities he supports. The gathering also recognized the emergency personnel who responded to the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena, which took place exactly one year ago on Tuesday. Such an awful tragedy. In the days since the wedding, Prince Charles has received heaps of praise in the British press for the welcome he offered to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. At one point, he was seen taking Doria’s hand in the chapel when she was overcome with the emotion of the big day. Later, he walked with her as he departed the chapel alongside his wife. Harry and Meghan, of course, tied the knot in front of approximately 600 guests at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Later that night, they celebrated at a private reception – hosted by Charles – with about 200 of their close friends and family members. They haven’t said anything in public yet about the wedding, but the newlyweds did pose for this gorgeous photos shortly after they made their union official: Simply breathtaking, isn’t it? “The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway,” said Kensington Palace spokesman Jason Knauf, adding: “They will have their first engagement as a married couple in the week after the wedding.” At some point, we’d also have to imagine Markle and Harry sit down for a joint interview as a married couple. And for good reason: Ember is now 8 months old! As she has done nearly every month around this time since her child entered the world, Audrey updated fans on Ember's status, sharing a number of new (and PRECIOUS!) photos, while also giving us an idea of what the infant has been up to. Our girlsie is getting more and more mobile,” wrote Audrey about her eight-month old, who is apparently crawling all around. 2. Over the past two seasons of Vanderpump Rules viewers witnessed two very perplexing inverse trends: For some reason, as James Kennedy’s behavior became even more deplorable, he somehow came to enjoy greater popularity with his castmates. For the third season in a row, Kennedy behaved abusively toward women, disrespected his relationship with his long-suffering girlfriend, forced unwanted advances on a female friend who’s made it very clear that she has no interest in him romantically, and of course, stabbed his “friends” in the back as part of his never-ending quest for more screentime. The situation was so bad that by midseason, fans were calling for Kennedy to be fired from the show. And yet, not only is he still an employee of both Bravo and Lisa Vanderpump, he’s been rewarded for his behavior with increased popularity among his older co-stars, who should really know better. All season, viewers have been warning the rest of the cast that James is sure to eventually remind them of why he was kept at arms’ length for so long, but for whatever reason, they ignored the pleas for sanity. As a result, on the Vanderpump reunion finale that aired last night, James was on good terms with the entire cast – except for Lala Kent, whom he sent running from the stage in tears. Of course, the reunion was taped several weeks ago, and change is the only constant in the lives of WeHo’s drunkest posse of ex-models. So it should come as no surprise that Jax Taylor has since seen the light and once again considers James his mortal enemy. As you may recall, the show’s latest season began with the revelation that Jax cheated on Brittany Cartwright with Faith Stowers. In the months that followed, Jax and Brittany worked hard to save their relationship, and recently, their reborn love was tested and strengthened by the death of Taylor’s father . So you can see why Jax’s infidelity might not be the couple’s favorite topic of conversation. And yet knowing all that, James decided to sing a song about it the incident in front of a packed club. “I had many one too many of the Pumptinis last night and I brought up the whole Faith thing again… over the mic,” Kennedy said during a recent podcast interview. “I was just like, ‘Oh hey, you banged Faith, remember?’ I just reminded everyone and I didn’t know Brittany was in the room at the time.” At that point, Tom Sandoval interjected and pointed out that that version of events is a bit too charitable to James: “I heard that you were like, ‘Jax and Faith! Jax and Faith!’” Sandoval said. “If Scheana said that, then maybe I did that… maybe. But I apologized this morning. I said, ‘I’m sorry’ to Jax. He’s still very angry with me,” James said, adding: “I made a little mistake last night. Perfect timing since filming starts in two weeks. I must say. You gotta keep it spicy somehow!” Of course, what James calls “spicy” others might call “the further victimization of a woman who’s already endured a tremendously difficult year.” We bet you can guess which category Jax falls into: “Brittany went in to go see him and say hi Tuesday night at SUR. He literally gave her a hug, she walked maybe four feet away, and he started rapping a song called Jax and Faith. And Brittany started bawling her eyes out,” Jax revealed on a different podcast. “Crying, embarrassed in front of everybody at SUR and she had to be escorted out. She was literally mortified.” He added: “How could you do that to somebody and literally look her in the face and start rapping about this? It’s on, and sh*t’s going to come out about you, and I’m not going to hold back.” As you can see, Jax has been tweeting about the incident in such a way that’s led fans to the conclusion that he’s planning to finally unleash the ass-whupping that James so richly deserves. When one Twitter user implored Jax to relax and reminded him that James isn’t worth going to jail for, Taylor replied, simply: “Yes, he is.” So it’s bad news for James, who may not have much time left on this earth. Tuesday was the one year anniversary of the May 22 Manchester Arena bombing that left twenty-three people dead and hundreds wounded. Ariana Grande had already performed a powerful trubute to the victims and her fellow survivors just two days earlier. To mark the anniversary, she sent out a much more direct message. Ariana tweeted from the heart, writing: “Thinking of you all today and every day.” Here she included a bee emoji, or beemoji . The bee is the symbol of Manchester. “I love you with all of me.” She is so good and so pure. “And am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day” There is no easy or perfect way to address a tragic terrorist bombing that left dozens of children injured or dead. Some would just put up an image in memory of the fallen and of the shattered lives. After all, there are situations for which words fail. Others would pen a miniature essay, hoping that if they say enough, they can somehow live up to the gravity of the anniversary that they are mourning. But Ariana kept her tweet short and simple. She said what she needed to say. Besides, she had already said so much in a recent interview. Last week, Ariana spoke to Time . “There are so many people who have suffered such loss and pain. The processing part is going to take forever.” Trauma can last a lifetime. “Music is supposed to be the safest thing in the world.” She is so sweet. “I think that’s why it’s still so heavy on my heart every single day.” Remember, she’s a fellow survivor of that terrible suicide bomber’s attack. “I wish there was more that I could fix. You think with time it’ll become easier to talk about. Or you’ll make peace with it.” We know that it might sound fake, but recovery from trauma is possible. But it takes time. “But every day I wait for that peace to come and it’s still very painful.” Earlier this month, Ariana and Mac Miller broke up . That is not in any way comparable to the trauma of surviving a terrorist attack, but that has to be on her mind, too. However … she may have a distraction from her last relationship. In the form of her new relationship. According to People’ s report, they have been able to confirm that Ariana is casually dating Pete Davidson . Pete is part of the cast of Saturday Night Live . In fact, when he joined, he was the youngest person ever cast on SNL . He is also frequently brought up in internet arguments about which person on SNL is the most attractive, though he, like everyone else, generally loses to Kate McKinnon. According to the reports, Ariana and Pete’s relationship has “just started.” And it is said that “it’s very casual.” The two were even spotted togther at the Billboard Music Awards. “After Ariana’s performance, they were backstage and he had his arm around her.” Awww! “They seemed very lovey-dovey. At this year’s MET Gala, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott walked their first red carpet together as a couple. Because, a year earlier, they barely knew each other. Now, Kylie and Travis are proud parents of precious baby Stormi Webster. But apparently, Travis has concerns. He allegedly wants Kylie to refuse to go back to work building her brand … and stay at home with their baby. What ?! A source tells InTouch that Travis Scott wants Kylie to focus on motherhood … almost exclusively. “Travis loves Kylie and they’re totally happy parents.” That is wonderful to hear. “He’s worried, however, that Kylie’s going to morph back into her socialite and partying ways.” That certainly used to be Kylie’s lifestyle. “And not put Stormi first.” Well, that’s nuts. Stormi is Kylie’s whole world right now. “Kylie’s already told Travis her schedule is about to get really busy.” Right. She’s no longer pregnant and Stormi will be four months old on June 1 . “And that she’s going to throw herself back into her work and her branding.” That makes sense. Though paid maternity leave should be universal (sadly, the US is one of few countries without that guarantee), many mothers look forward to getting back to work. “Travis wants her to scale back her work and social life.” Oh wow. That’s actually kind of alarming, if true. “And be a stay-at-home mom for the time being.” Travis does, after all, have his own … uh, career. (Fans have pointed out that Travis Scott’s antics in this infamous performance remind them of Frankendoodle, a terrifying one-off Spongebob Squarepants character) Wait … is he seriously suggesting that she stay at home while he plays the breadwinner? Now, Travis Scott’s estimated net worth was recently upgraded to all of $8 million, which is a whole lot to us regular folks. But Kylie is worth about $50 million … and Kylie Cosmetics is projected to be worth about one billion American dollars in about four-and-a-half years. You would think that, if either of them were to hit the pause button on their careers, it would be Travis. There are women in this world who would quit their high-paying jobs just to soothe their lower-income-bracket baby daddy’s ego. But fans hope that Kylie Freaking Jenner is not one of them. Apparently, Travis doesn’t want to rely on Kylie’s virtually infinite financial resources or her family support network. “He doesn’t want Kylie to depend on nannies or Kris.” This source claims that he wants Kylie to make sacrifices to be there for Stormi, full time. “And would prefer if Kylie took major time off to raise their daughter.” That’s quite a demand. “He feels that’s important and should be Kylie’s main focus.” Well, of course Stormi will be Kylie’s main focus. But Kylie also still gets to be a person, right? “Travis is nervous and doesn’t want Kylie to put money and career before the baby.” Isn’t the money and career also for Stormi’s benefit, though? When Stormi is a teen or older, surely she’ll appreciate the difference between her parents being millionaires and her mom being a billionaire. We would like to believe that Kylie would not throw away her life in order to never use nannies or her mother. We would like to believe that Travis Scott, who is clearly crazy about Kylie, would never ask her to. For that matter, we’d at least like to believe that he wouldn’t be sharing his concerns with random friends. Surely he and Kylie can see that Kim has continued to build her business empire without neglecting her duties as a mother. And Kim is a mother of three . Kylie can be an incredible supermom and continue to be a makeup mogul. If Travis really is dead-set on Stormi spending all of her time with a parent, maybe he can be a stay-at-home dad. Bottles exist, dude. Besides, does Travis really want Kylie to become a desperate housewife, at home alone with her baby and her hunky bodyguard ? We didn’t think so. If you’ve been anywhere near an internet-enabled device in the past 72 hours, then you’re no doubt aware that Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a unique ceremony at Windsor Castle in London. Harry and Meghan’s nuptials were different from previous royal weddings in a number of important ways. Most were cool and interesting, others … well, not so much. For example, the ceremony incorporated elements of African-American culture in order to honor Meghan’s ethnicity and nationality. That was inarguably awesome. In the other column, you’ll find the almost unbelievably messy drama surrounding Meghan’s family. While it certainly helped set this wedding apart from its predecessors, we’re guessing Harry and Meghan would have been happy to skip over the soap opera BS delivered by her father and her half-siblings. Meghan’s half-brother and half-sister talked a bunch of trash , but that came as no surprise, as those two revealed themselves to be bestselling items at the jerk store several months ago. Much more unexpected was the last-minute turmoil involving Meghan’s father. Thomas Markle skipped the royal wedding , bowing out just days before the ceremony for reasons that still aren’t totally clear. At first, there were reports that Meghan’s dad had suffered a heart attack. Now, however, it doesn’t that that was the case. The more likely explanation seems to be that Thomas was humiliated by the revelation that he’d agreed to be photographed by paparazzi in exchange for a fee. That’s not to say Thomas is without health issues, but it seems that his reasons for skipping the wedding were more varied and complex than initially reported. Weirdly, Thomas was in regular communication with TMZ throughout the build-up to the wedding, and he spoke to the site on Saturday after Meghan and Harry exchanged vows. “My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy,” he said. “I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness.” Thomas added that watching the wedding on television was both “emotional and joyful.” We may never know exactly what prompted Thomas to stay home instead of participating in this once-in-a-lifetime event, but remarkably, it seems he and Meghan have remained on good terms. Audrey Roloff is still pretty new at this whole motherhood thing. She gave birth to daughter Ember Jean in September of 2017 and has since written plenty about the amazing experience on Instagram. Roloff has gotten into occasional trouble for some of the stuff she has said about having a child, but for the most part, she has simply gushed over her daughter and her family. Now, via an Instagram post she posted in May of 2018, Audrey has shared with followers five lessons she has learned from being a parent. Some may be obvious, others less so. But perhaps you can relate to one or two of these tidbits? 1. Lesson #1: This is how Amber opened her informative and sort of fascinating post: “To love the body God gave me and to embrace its strength and beauty with gratefulness” is something she has learned. 2. How So? “Watching my body change and witnessing its ability to deliver a child taught me to appreciate my physical body in all of its God-designed complexities on a whole new level,” Audrey details. 3. A Lesson of Importance and Priorities Concludes Audrey in this case: “Motherhood has taught me focus less on body-image and more on being an image-bearer. I am also now capable of getting myself ready in less than 5 mintes, which is an added bonus.” 4. Lesson #2: “GRACE,” writes Audrey, expounding a bit as follows: “Motherhood has taught me to give myself loads of grace for all the things I see other mothers doing that make me feel less-than.” 5. Forget Social Media, She Adds Yes, this is very ironic for a social media post to say, but Roloff continues on this point: “My standard for motherhood is rooted and established in the the Word [of] God not the world of Instagram.” 6. Let’s Turn to the Bible, Shall We? Audrey often uses this as source material. In this instance, she wrotes: “Motherhood sure has a way of revealing my failures and flaws, but I’m refusing to let these discoveries steal my confidence in the grace of God who’s power is made perfect in my weakness. Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Blac Chyna was an epic disaster . It was upsetting, it was dramatic, and it’s over. But one good thing came out of it: Dream Kardashian. She is 18 months old, and Rob just shared a new photo of his precious daughter. Look at how much she’s grown! Dream is growing up right before our eyes. Rob shared this adorable photo of Dream in a big-girl stroller on Thursday, writing: “Cheese!” He follows that word with a smiley face emoji. Dream is flashing him an awkward smile, like all kids flash at their parents when asked to smile. Like we said, she’s growing up quickly. And, not for nothing, but we cannot help but think that Blac Chyna would have trouble throwing this stroller across a theme park . Though … let’s not put it past her. Just a few weeks ago, in April, Rob also shared this photo of Dream looking happy and adorable. His provided caption made this pic even sweeter. “Mornings start with a tea party.” This is so cute ! Dream is unspeakably cute, and there is something emotionally overwhelming about a baby’s expression of true joy. And, sorry parents, but it’s not the same as the smile that you see when you get them to say “cheese.” Adults don’t generally change drastically in one year. Maybe they gain or lose weight or change their hair, but they’re usually pretty recognizable. Babies, on the other hand, are growing rapidly and changing every day. In the space of a few weeks, a baby could learn hundreds of new words, pass multiple developmental milestones, and also gain several pounds — in a good way. As Dream continues to grow and learn, she develops more of her personality. She also increases her understanding and awareness of the world around her. One day she may gain greater insight into the relationship that her parents had and the possible financial motive that some believe was behind her conception. But … let’s not waste time worrying about a day that is likely many years off. Following recent pregnancy rumors about Chyna , reports claimed that Rob was exasperated, afraid, and angry about the idea of Chyna having getting pregnant again while Dream is still a baby. Of course, there was also talk that Rob’s feelings were more mixed than people had realized. Because at least one report said that Blac Chyna was seducing Rob all over again by sending him nudes and reminding him of the good times. There’s always a chance that Dream’s parents could get back together one of these days. Even though they’re probably too toxic together for it to work out. Also, Rob’s family would absolutely lose their minds. Dream is so cute and so precious, and every photo of her is a gift. She’s one of the only reasons that a lot of people would like to see Rob permitted to have his own Instagram account again. (He shares photos and videos of Dream on Twitter) But his Instagram was taken down last year after his revenge porn attack against Blac Chyna, so … it does make sense that they’re not trusting him to upload only acceptable photos again.
