Kanye West Compares Himself and Donald Trump to Dragons, Says He’s "Nice" at Ping Pong

Let’s be frank up front: Kanye West may be in serious trouble. The rapper is Tweeting non-stop, making absolutely no sense while doing so and, based on a recent report, may be coming off an Opiods addiction . We really do think West may be suffering another mental breakdown and could be in need of some professional assistance. We hope he gets it. This caveat in place, let’s also be honest: We’re a celebrity gossip website. We’re obligated to joke around about a star when he or she relays the sort of bat$hit crazy messages that Kanye has been posting of late. We thought it was random enough when the musician first returned to Twitter and rambled on about Lamar Odom and his alleged neck tattoos, as covered below: View Slideshow: Kanye West Returns to Twitter, Appears to Shade Tristan Thompson But now?!? West has since Tweeted his love and affection for Donald Trump, while more recently cutting ties with long-time friend and manager Scotter Braun. How come? “I no longer have a manager. I can’t be managed. I’m nobody’s client,” West Tweeted. This stance does sort of go along with a report that claims Kanye is out of control and that not even wife Kim Kardashian can calm him down these days. And this report came out before Kanye delved deeper into his self-proclaimed love of the current President. “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy,” Kanye wrote on Thursday, elaborating as only he can: “He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.” Moreover… “If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. “For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary I love Hillary too.” From here, Kanye revealed that Kardashian actually pressed him to walk back his remarks about The Donald a little bit: “my wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don’t agree with everything Trump does. I don’t agree 100% with anyone but myself.” West previously announced that he will release two new albums in June. So it’s very possible this social media meltdown is not a meltdown, but rather his own kind of promotion for those albums. It’s possible, we emphasize . But the rapper did suffer an actual breakdown toward the end of 2016 and, well… he’s now writing stuff such as this: I’m nice at ping pong. fear takes strategy Unlearn linear thinking Hit you with these zig zag thoughts. And also I’m all the way out the sunken place. And I’m not scared anymore. I’m not scared of the media. I’m not scared of the past and I’m optimistic about the future. This tweet is in love not fear. How can anyone know what to think when West is sending gibberish such as this? The guy does have the entire Internet talking about him once again, so let’s give him some credit. But that isn’t always a good thing, no matter what Kanye’s apparent hero, Donald Trump, might say. Do YOU think West has sincerely lost it? Or is this all a part of a much larger marketing strategy?

Michelle McNamara: Patton Oswalt’s Late Wife Helps Apprehend Golden State Killer

Back in April of 2016, author Michelle McNamara passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42. Though perhaps best known to the general public as the wife of comedian Patton Oswalt, McNamara was a highly-regarded true crime writer who was hard at work on her magnum opus at the time of her death. I’ll Be Gone in the Dark became an instant bestseller when it was published posthumously in February of this year, and now it looks as though the book may have helped lead police to a serial killer and rapist who evaded capture for more than four decades. Former police officer Joseph James DeAngelo, 72, was arrested in Sacramento this morning on two counts of murder. There’s reason to believe that DeAngelo might be the man police referred to as the East Area Rapist and who McNamara dubbed the Golden State Killer – an elusive suspect whose DNA ties him to 12 murders, 45 sexual assaults, and 120 burglaries committed between 1976 and 1986. The investigation has been referred to by Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert as “the most prolific unsolved serial killing case probably in modern history.” At the time of her death, McNamara’s manuscript was left unfinished. The published version has been supplemented with material from researcher Paul Haynes and journalist Billy Jensen as well as an afterword by Oswalt, all of whom took to social media today to celebrate what appears to be the completion of McNamara’s life’s work. “Think you got him, Michelle,” Oswalt said in an emotional video posted to Instagram this morning. The famed comic will also produce an upcoming HBO docudrama about the GSK investigation. The publicity surrounding the book and HBO special is believed to have prompted Sacramento police to re-open the 32-year-old cold case. Interestingly, when news of DeAngelo’s arrest broke, Oswalt was with the book’s research team at a press event in McNamara’s hometown of Chicago last night, which also served as the first night of filming for the HBO documentary. “Ended with me saying, ‘He’s running out of time.’ And now all of this. Surreal,” Oswalt tweeted today. Many fans of McNamara’s work have posted some of the more eerily prescient passages of her first and last book, particularly a section in which she addresses the killer directly, imagining him being apprehended as an old man. “You’re long past leaping over a fence. Take one of your hyper, gulping breaths. Clench your teeth. Inch timidly toward the insistent bell,” McNamara writes. “This is how it ends for you … Open the door. Show us your face. Walk into the light.” While there are certainly no happy endings in a story this macabre, we hope that DeAngelo’s arrest can bring a modicum of relief to those who were tormented by his crimes – as well as the family of the woman who devoted her final days to seeing him brought to justice. Mayte Garcia Refutes Sinead O’Connor: Prince Was NOT a Wife-Beating Devil-Worshipper!

Music legend Prince’s death will not result in criminal charges , but that doesn’t mean that Prince’s name can rest in peace. Sinead O’Connor, as famous for her troubles and activism as for her music, has accused the late music legend of some terrible things, including violence against women. Now Prince’s ex-wife, Mayte Garcia, is slamming Sinead’s claims as absurd. Sinead spoke to the Carver County Sheriff’s investigators just a little over a week after Prince’s tragic death . That recording has now been released, and Sinead had some shocking and stunning accusations about the beloved celebrity. For one thing, she told investigators that Prince “used hard drugs.” While that’s not the most shocking thing that she said, she asserts that she knows it to be true, saying: “I know this because I spent time with the man.” It gets much worse. Sinead also came forward with a very serious accusation. She claims that Prince “had been violent to a number of women in his life.” That is jaw-dropping and serious … if true. She also claimed that he shelved his famous “Black Album” because he had a “vision of God” telling him to do so. Sinead then made her most sensational, if hardly the most damning, accusation against the late music legend. She accused him of, we kid you not, devil-worship. Wild . Now, Prince’s ex-wife is speaking to TMZ and refuting Sinead’s claims. Mayte Garcia was Prince’s wife from 1996 to 2000. She says that not only was he never violent with her, but she never witnessed him be violent towards anyone. Any woman or any man. She says that he did not do hard drugs, and that she saw him drunk only once. Garcia goes on to call Sinead’s timing into question, since Prince isn’t alive to defend himself. In fact, Garcia casts doubt on the idea that Sinead was ever really that close with Prince. She also, almost needless to say, dismisses the idea that Prince was somehow into devil-worship. “I strongly deny that in his honor.” Sinead O’Connor has had a troubled history, including making a disturbing video in 2017 that had fans fearing for her life. She has been known for being both impulsive and outspoken over the years. In the early ’90s, she stirred up controversy by tearing up a photo of the pope while performing on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest … without warning anyone on the show that she would do so. Unfortunately, in her attempts to make valid points about subjects like child-abuse, she sometimes alienates her audience by making outlandish claims or pulling dramatic stunts. This is also not the first time that she has spoken ill of Prince. In a couple of old interviews, she claimed that Prince had summoned her to his house and tried to discourage her from using foul language in interviews. She says that her rebuttal caused him to become violent and chase her out of the house. Many found that claim to be unbelievable … especially after a 2004 interview with Graham Norton, in which she described Prince as “a sweet guy,” and called the story “much exaggerated by the press.” While we’d never rule out the idea of someone, regardless of their reputation as a kind man and an advocate for women, secretly harboring a dark side … Sinead’s claims don’t seem to be substantiated. If a woman whom she suggests he has “hospitalized” were to come forward, that would be one thing. Until then … some wonder if Sinead was speaking impulsively over the phone. She may have said things that, with a clearer head, she regrets. View Slideshow: RIP Prince: Fans Remember Music Icon One Year After His Death

Kanye West: I Love Donald Trump Whether Kim Likes It or Not!

As you’ve probably heard, Kanye West has been making quite a splash on Twitter this week. At first, fans were excited to see the outspoken rapper tweeting again after a lengthy hiatus. Now, many of them probably wish he would take another long break from social media. Kanye’s return to Twitter was like watching someone show up to a party with a case of booze to the delight of all the revelers … and then proceeding to drink the whole by himself and pass out under the coffee table. The excitement of those early hours when the rapper first started posting his stream-of-consciousness observations about the world around him quickly gave way to concern for Kanye’s mental state. While there have been some legitimate reasons to question West’s stability – such as the revelation that he recently battled an opioid addiction – much of what we’ve seen over the past few days has been nothing more than Kanye being Kanye. Of course, the tweets that have received the most attention have had to do with West’s love of Donald Trump , but his support for the president really shouldn’t come as a surprise. For one thing, Kanye famously visited Trump in Manhattan during the president’s hectic transition to the White House. But more importantly – is anyone who’s familiar with the man’s personality actually shocked that Kanye is drawn to a guy who plastered his name all over New York City in giant gold letters? That’s basically the most Kanye action ever carried out by someone not named Kanye.  To be fair, some people might be taken aback by the extent of ‘Ye’s love (his word, not ours) of Trump. As you can see, Kanye really stirred the pot by spending much of today doubling and tripling down on his esteem for 45: “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone,” West tweeted, before acknowledging that he “doesn’t agree with” everything the president does. Yeezy further confused the issue by revealing that he also has deep affection for Hillary Clinton. “If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary. I love Hillary too,” he wrote. Among those who seem a bit perplexed by Kanye’s latest tweet-storm is none other than the rapper’s wife, Kim Kardashian: Kim apparently intervened today in order to ensure that her husband was being as clear as possible with both his longtime fans and the MAGA folk who just decided today that “Flashing Lights” is an all-time banger. “My wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don’t agree with everything Trump does. I don’t agree 100% with anyone but myself,” West tweeted today. Naturally, this led to another round of Kim-Kanye divorce rumors , but it seems that Mrs. Kardashian-West is actually taking her husband’s political eccentricities in stride. Earlier this afternoon, in response to jokes about his imprisonment in “the sunken place” – a reference to Jordan Peele’s Get Out – Kanye tweeted a photo of his lavish home, along with a caption reading: “Do this look like the sunken place.” The photo was retweeted by Kim, who added her own caption: “Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?” Kim was quick to clap back at critics who suggested her remark was anything more than a joke. There’s so much insanity taking place on Ye’s page these days that it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that he also promised to turn the Grammys into the “Yammys” and claimed that he’s made more money from selling sneakers than the most successful footwear peddler of them all. “I am currently the single highest paid person in footwear. That means I make more money on shoes than Michael Jordan,” he tweeted. Whatever you say, ‘Ye. Just make sure to take some time to record a little new music soon, and if you want to load up with high-pitched soul samples, a la The College Dropout , that would be just super with us. Harry Anderson: Cause of Death Revealed

A week after the stunning death of Harry Anderson , we can now say with certainty why the actor passed away. As previously reported, the beloved Night Court star and talented musician passed away at his home in North Carolina last Monday morning. The sad news was confirmed by Anderson’s son, with authorities at the time saying no foul play was suspected. Now, however, TMZ has obtained the star’s official death certificate, which confirms the following: Anderson died of a stroke he seems to have suffered the night before his body was found; might have been triggered by the flu and a specific type of heart disease, this document states. To be specific, TMZ reports that Anderson’s primary cause of death was a “cardioembolic cerebrovascular accident.” This is a stroke that is almost always caused by the heart pumping unwanted materials into the brain’s circulation Anderson was sadly dead when paramedics arrived at his home early last week in response to his wife’s 911 call. She told the operator on this call that her husband’s body was cold and that he was unresponsive to CPR. She also mentioned that Anderson had suffered a series of strokes earlier this year, something we were unaware of when we first alerted readers to his passing. Anderson was a three-time Emmy nominee for his role on Night Court, on which he portrayed Judge Harry Stone. The sitcom aired on NBC from 1984 to 1992 and was an early anchor of the network’s Must See TV Thursday night lineup. The actor also memorably showed off his magic skills on Cheers as the recurring conman Harry “The Hat” Gittes, too. After Night Court wrapped up, Anderson nabbed the lead role in Dave’s World, a CBS sitcom based on the work of columnist Dave Barry.  It ran for four seasons. Anderson also made eight appearances on Saturday Night Live and on 30 Rock’s Night Court reunion episode in 2008. His last role as an actor was in 2014’s A Matter of Faith. Anderson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Morgan, and their two kids. Shortly after his death, co-stars and other entertainers jumped on social media to express their condolences. “I interviewed Harry Anderson when I was 15 years old and he was so kind, and frank and hilarious. The interview is in my book Sick In The Head. He was a one of a kind talent who made millions so happy,” director Judd Apatow wrote, for example, adding: “The last time Harry Anderson played Comedy Magic Club, I opened for him. I was asked because I was a big fan. It was a dream come true. I was just there last night and talked about how wonderful his magic was. If you’re not familiar, google him. He was just wonderful. RIP.” Here’s a look at what others had to say: View Slideshow: Harry Anderson: Mourned, Remembered by Hollywood Stars
