Meghan Markle: Happy Mother’s Day! Here’s a New Archie Photo!

Meghan Markle did not celebrate Mother’s Day for the first time on Sunday. But she did celebrate Mother’s Day for the first time as an actual mother. The Duchess of Sussex, who gave birth to son Archie this past Monday, posted a brand new image of the newborn earlier today in honor of this special occasion. Not everyone may have been aware upon first viewing the photom, but it also paid tribute to Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana. How so? In the snapshot, which was taken at the famous couple’s new Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor, Diana’s favorite flower, forget-me-nots, can be seen in the background. It’s a subtle, yet poignant nod to the mother-in-law Markle never had a chance to meet. “Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you,” Harry and Meghan wrote as a caption to this picture. They continued: “Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe. “This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex.” And they concluded: “Quote from ‘lands’: my mother was my first country; the first place I ever lived.” According to various outlets, Markle is spending the day at home with her new son, alongside her husband and her mom Doria Ragland. The latter flew in to Great Britain several days before her daughter gave birth and has no plans to leave any time soon. Meghan and Harry, meanwhile, debuted little Archie last Wednesday. While fans are debating whether they gave their child this unexpected name in order to royally piss off Harry’s native country , the stars themselves seemed very relaxed and overjoyed during the photo opportunity. “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy,” Markle told the gathered press, adding of her newborn: “He has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.” Harry then quipped: “I don’t know where he gets that from!” And Markle added: “He’s just been a dream. It’s been a special couple of days.” Prior to this debut, Harry himself spoke briefly to members of the media. “I haven’t been in many births,” he said, adding in adorable fashion: “This is definitely my first birth. Grey’s Anatomy Recap: Take THIS, MerLuca Haters!

Ever since Grey’s Anatomy paired Meredith with DeLuca, fans have been complaining about it being the most random pairing in the history of the series.  Thursday’s penultimate episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 just showed how much DeLuca cared about his woman, and it should help the haters get on board with the pairing.  If you watch Grey’s Anatomy online , you know that Meredith risked it all to operate on a patient without insurance.  She went as far as committing insurance fraud by saying the patient’s name was Ellis Grey, her daughter’s.This allowed her own insurance to cover the life-saving surgery.  Richard realized what Mer did, yelled at her a little, and joined in the plan with his own two cents about how Mer could get out of her pickle.  It turns out, her hot Italian boyfriend was ready to take the fall!  Yes, really.  Bailey and Catherine spent much of the intense installment in meetings. DeLuca was later hauled in to answer questions.  “It has come to light that Dr. Meredith Grey submitted her own daughter’s name to pay for Gabriella’s surgery and care, which is both fraud and a felony,” Catherine said to a stunned DeLuca.  Catherine and DeLuca later went to find Meredith, and DeLuca dropped the bombshell.  “Your patient, Gabby Rivera — I lied to you,” he said. “She didn’t have insurance, and she shouldn’t have been admitted, but I wanted her to get the surgery very badly, so I didn’t tell anybody, so I put another name down on the paperwork. Your daughter’s name, Ellis.” That was a pretty great way to his love to Mer, right? In any case, DeLuca is headed for some jail time. There’s no way he gets away with this.  Unless Grey’s is planning on offing another one of Mer’s lovers. That would suck.  Elsewhere, Meredith tried to help Jo through her difficult time. It’s crazy how far these two have come.  Meredith said that she could understand what Jo was going through because all of the trauma she’s been through over the years.  This prompted Jo to lash out.  “Was your mother raped by your father? Is that why you exist? Do you look like a rapist? Do you wear his face?” Jo yelled. “Okay then. I don’t think you do get this, so please go home.” Meredith refused to leave, and Jo ultimately told her the full story. Meredith was adamant that Jo did not have to be defined by her past.  “You have an enormous will, and an enormous heart, and an enormous capacity for survival,” Meredith said. “You’ve taken all this darkness and used it to help people who are walking through the same.” “You lined that hallway with women to help that woman who was hurting badly just hurt a little bit less,” she continued. “You’ve taken your darkest experiences that life gave you, and you turned it around and turned it into light.” “And if the woman who gave birth to you doesn’t want to see that, then that’s on her.” Meredith then told Jo to get a shower because they were going to the hospital to speak to Alex and Bailey to get her some time off work to get her life back in order.  Yay, right? Farrah Abraham Remembers Derek Underwood in Touching Tribute

So look, a lot of people have a lot of feelings about Farrah Abraham. And yes, pretty much all of those feelings are negative. It makes sense — after all, she’s not really a likable person . Part of the reason she got fired from Teen Mom OG was because she couldn’t manage to just be civil to the crew members filming her. On television, on social media, in interviews … pretty much every single time we’ve seen her in any context, she’s just rude and nasty and really, really dumb . Even so, there’s always been a few things about Farrah that definitely make us feel some sympathy for her. One of those is the fact that she lost Derek Underwood, her sometimes boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Sophia, when she was pregnant. She wasn’t open about what happened during her episode of 16 and Pregnant and early on in the Teen Mom series, but since then, we’ve been able to piece together what happened. Basically, she and Derek dated for a while, but they often fought and broke up. It didn’t help that her parents didn’t approve of her relationship with him — once her father caught Derek in her bedroom and chased him out of the house with a knife. She got pregnant, but she didn’t tell Derek, and she never got a chance to tell him. He passed away in a car accident just two months before she gave birth to Sophia. It was devastating for her, and understandably so — even if they weren’t together at the time of his death, he was still the father of her unborn child. It would have been a lot to handle, especially for a teenager. Farrah went on to … well, we all know all what she went on to do , but in the years since Derek’s death, she’s never forgotten him. She always keeps his memory alive for Sophia, and since yesterday would have been his 29th birthday, she took the time to celebrate him in a tribute she shared on Instagram. It’s a lot, so buckle up. “To the one very special person I celebrate and remember like no other,” she began. “Happy Birthday Derek I love you, May 8th you would be 29 today, birthdays used to be so simple.” “You gave me that once in a lifetime love of my life everyone so deserves,” she continued, “you gave me so many 1st’s, from virginity, proms, trips, my first ring, you showed me unconditional love, you showed what relationships are, from prom, graduation, to our only child …” “All the events that had happened the entire sequence was one filled with the thrill, love & loss.” Yeah, this barely makes sense, but this is Farrah, and she’s trying, OK? After that, she wrote “Now I share a birthday breakfast in your memory & all our best photos and your childhood photos with our daughter.” “I see all of your messages to me, & your written letters. Thank you for being the best loving man I know, and one of the strongest.” “Our groups of friends & haters can’t deny our legendary times, from school, parties, summer nights & in-between,” she added. “My partner in crime getting me in all the trouble — love you legend we all miss you today more than ever & so much love, memories from Sophia & I, family, friends and those who watched over the years.” “Happy Birthday I love & miss you, and thank you for everything you did for me,” she finished. Game of Thrones Spoilers: Is This Really How It Ends?

There's no other way to say this, other than to be as clear as we can be: Do not scroll down any further if you do not want to be spoiled about the way Game of Thrones concludes. We mean it. And we love page views here at The Hollywood Gossip, so we'd never say this unless it was true and urgent and necessary. Earlier this week, however, a lengthy post on the r/gottheories subreddit was quickly banned by moderators “due to multiple reports that it is likely from a leak.” Still, however, this banning took place long after plenty of readers had stumbled upon the theory — which does sound like far more than a theory. At the very least, this sounds like a plausible way for the series to end. Can we guarantee it? No. But you should stop reading right now if you do not want to read through a bunch of seemingly legitimate Game of Thrones spoilers. Okay? Got it? You've been warned. Here we go… 1. Meghan Markle’s Baby Is Catching Hate From the British Press ALREADY!!!

By now, you’ve almost certainly heard the joyous news: Meghan Markle welcomed her first child this week — a bouncing baby boy named Archie. This should be a time for Meghan and Harry to bond with their young prince. (Technically Archie doesn’t have a royal title yet, but he’s already a prince to us!) Unfortunately, there are no days off for royals. That means just days after becoming parents, Harry and Meghan are back to making public appearances and getting harassed by the British tabloid press. On Wednesday, Archie had his first official photocall. And because media figures in the UK all apparently take their cues for basic human decency from Piers Morgan, the event very much did not go smoothly. For one, there was Danny Baker, the BBC host who was fired for comparing baby Archie to a “chimp.” Good riddance to that jackass — but sadly, he wasn’t the only member of the British press to behave abhorrently. You see, Meghan and Harry understandably wanted to limit the number of reporters shouting at their baby for pics at the photocall, so they put together a list of media outlets who would be represented at Archie’s big debut. This shouldn’t have been a big deal, as the images were available for free to anyone who wanted them just moments later. And yet it was a big deal, because elderly British snobs like Dickie Arbiter got their knickers in a twist because Meghan decided to invite one (1) American outlet. CBS and Gayle King were represented at the event, likely because Harry and Meghan are friends with Gayle and her iconic BFF Oprah. This drove Arbiter up a wall because he’s obviously a very normal person with completely normal priorities. “Choosing a U.S. Network, fiend [sic] or not, is treading on dodgy ground,” an outraged Arbiter tweeted. We’d say an old white guy bitching and moaning on social media because an American woman of color is friends with another American woman of color is “treading on dodgy ground,” but what do we know? In more positive, less low-key racist news, Harry made a short day trip to the Netherlands to kick off the countdown to the Invictus games today. We’re sure he didn’t relish being away from his wife and son, even for a few hours, but he made sure to let the world know where his heat was: Harry rocked a jacket embroidered with the words “Invictus Family Daddy.” Certain letters were highlighted to read, “I am Daddy.” Sounds like Archie is gonna have a lot of love in his life — and he’ll need it with hateful mummies like Danny Baker and Dickie Arbiter in the world. They are, perhaps, the four most famous kids in the world. Or, to put it more accurately, they were, most definitely, the four most famous babies on earth at the time of their birth. Five years ago, Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed Prince George into the world. He was followed two years later by sister Charlotte and then two years after that by brother Louis. Fast forward about 12 months as Louis made his grand entrance and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined the human-creating fray by introducing everyone to son Archie . Well,  Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to be exact. On the heels of Archie's first-ever photos, we thought it would be fun to take a look back and compare ALL first-ever photos of all four Royal Children. Hayden Panettiere: Shocking Details of Domestic Violence Incident Revealed

Earlier this week, we reported on the news that Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, had been arrested for domestic violence . Despite the fact that he’s been with Hayden for several months now, very little is known about Hickerson — and the more fans find out, the more they don’t like him. Details of Hickerson’s arrest have been hard to come by, but we know that Hayden was involved in the altercation. We also know that it was not the first such incident for Hickerson. In October of 2018, Hickerson was arrested after allegedly assaulting his father. Hayden was on hand for that incident, too — and friends encouraged her to leave the relationship before she became his next victim. Sadly, it appears that’s exactly what happened when Hickerson allegedly attacked Panettiere on Friday night. Now, police reports from the night of the incident confirm fans’ worst fears, as it looks as though an altercation between Hayden and Brian became violent, and Hayden was the victim. One of the LAPD officers who arrived on the scene says neighbors dialed 911 when noises from the next house made it clear a couple was involved “in both [a] physical and verbal argument.” The report indicates that one person was heard clearly yelling “ouch.” It’s unclear at this time if Panettiere and Hickerson are still involved romantically — but it is clear that Hayden’s family is hoping she’ll end the relationship. “I knew he had an incident with his father and he has a tendency to do that [physical violence],” Hayden’s mother, Lesley Vogl, tells Radar Online. “Never had I thought it would be against Hayden or I would have addressed it sooner. I have addressed many things,”  This is far from the first indication that Hayden and Brian’s relationship is highly dysfunctional. Around the time that Hickerson allegedly attacked his father, it was reported that friends and family feared Hayden was drinking herself to death . The actress’ alcohol consumption was a contributing factor in her estrangement from her 4-year-old daughter, and insiders made it clear that they blamed her boozing on Hickerson . Troy Dean Shafer Dies; Nashville Flipped Star Was 38

Very sad news today out of the television world. Troy Dean Shafer, best known as the contractor and host of DIY Network’s restoration series Nashville Flipped, passed away in his sleep on April 28. He was 38 years old. The reality star’s brother, Tim, told TMZ that there were no warning signs and no previous medical conditions that would have given anyone close to Shafer cause to be concerned. The family remains in shock over the heartbreaking news. This same gossip website reports that the coroner’s office in Erie, Pennsylvania had not yet performed an autopsy on Troy’s body — but a toxicology report will be finalized in the weeks ahead. Until then, those close to Shafer and those who worked with him will remain perplexed over what transpired. “The DIY Network family is sorry to hear about the passing of Troy Dean Shafer, a dedicated, driven entrepreneur and restoration expert who was admired by everyone who worked on the series,” the network has said in a statement, concluding: “We continue to extend our deepest condolences to Troy’s family and friends during this difficult time.” Shafer was laid to rest in a small ceremony last week. He graduated from Penn State University and had actually moved to Nashville to pursue a career in singing. Ultimately, though, he utilized his construction skills and pitched a home renovation show based in this beloved city, one that focused on homes from the 1800s and early 1900s. The series, Nashville Flipped, also starred Rob Kuskin and Sean Roberge and premiered in April of 2017. A year earlier, Shafer opened about his many TV offers but said many had been looking for a “character” — and that just wasn’t him. “They were looking for some over-the-top drama, and I get it. That makes good TV, and that’s the way a lot of house flipping shows are, but that’s definitely not me,” he told The Nashville Ledger at the time, adding: “I’m not dramatic, and even if I was, I wouldn’t go on TV and broadcast it, because the show may last one year, but I need this company to last. “I want to pass this down to kids. “I don’t want anyone thinking anything other than who I really am.” Shafter was partly popular due to this sort of attitude; simply put, he kept things real. Meanwhile, according to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook, there’s a very good chance that drugs played a role in this unexpected passing. “Given the situation, we strongly suspect drugs were involved and a factor in his death,” Cook told Radar Online. However, he will not know for certain until the results of the toxicology report come back. Shafter is survived by his parents, Timothy and Janey Shafer; his brother Tim; as well as a niece, cousins, aunts and uncles – and his wife, Becky, who he married in 2014. May he rest in peace. Joy-Anna Duggar Reveals Due Date, Ultrasound Video!

It can be tough to keep track of all the Duggar pregnancies these days. It seems not a week goes by without the family announcing that yet another #LittleDuggar is on the way, and if it’s reached the point where fans are feeling overwhelemed than surely the expectant mothers must really be feeling the pressure — right? Well, that might be the case for most families who are preparing to welcome five offspring before the end of the calendar year — but the Duggars are a different breed. From a young age, Jim Bob and Michelle’s children were taught that procreation was their primary reason for being. And so, while most 21 year olds might be feeling a little overwhelmed if they were expecting their second child in just over a year, Joy-Anna Duggar cleary feels this is exactly what she’s meant to be doing. Joy-Anna Duggar Ultrasound Joy shared the above ultrasound video with her Instagram followers this week. Fans were thrilled with the way Joy’s expectant bundle of joy moved about the uterus, and they were equally ecstatic with the news of exactly when the little tyke will be entering the world. “Finally got our 10 week ultrasound video downloaded!!” Joy captioned the clip. “Look how tiny it’s little arms and legs are!! Looking forward to meeting this baby in 6 & 1/2 months!!!” She added the hashtags: “#babyforsyth2 #6moremonthstogo #childrenareablessingfromGod” Needless to say, it’s all very on-brand for the Duggar clan. Six and a half months means that the as-yet unnamed little boy or girl will likely be arriving sometime in mid- to late-November. Joy and husband Austin Forsyth appear to be absolutely over the moon — despite the complications that she experienced during her last pregnancy. Joy welcomed her first child, son Gideon, back in February. And to say that the birth didn’t go smoothly would be a massive understatement. Like so many of her sisters, Joy was planning a home birth, but shen had ton be rushed to a nearby hospital when it was discovered that the baby was breech. Thankfully, both mother and son were unharmed by the difficult delivery. And it seems the painful experience left Joy without any trepidation. And as a bonus, this time around, she and Austin don’t have to grapple with those ugly “shotgun wedding” rumors. That must feel like a pleasant change of pace.

Josh Duggar BEGS Judge to Remove His Name From Latest Scandal

Even Duggar fans were hesitant to celebrate the news that Anna Duggar is pregnant with baby #6 . Imagine the burden and stigma of growing up with that creep Josh Duggar as your father! After all of those scandals! Well, Josh is embroiled in yet another scandal, and is begging a judge to let him off the hook. As we previously reported, Josh Duggar is being sued for trying to steal a man’s land . See, Josh used his wealth to buy up a bunch of land in Arkansas. It’s a free country, and he can do that. But you have to tell the owner about it and give him the money, first. Josh thinks that he bought the land, but a man named Carl Echols bought the land in 2006. Since then, he has paid taxes on the property and even lived on it. The specifics are that, in 2016, Josh’s real estate company, ALB Investments, purchased five acres of land. If you want an idea of how remote this land is, the purchase price was apparently a mere $1,000. Of course, Echols says that he paid $17,500 when he bought the land from his cousin, Edward L. Lewis. Now, Echols is suing Lewis for breach of contract — for, you know, selling land that he didn’t own and hadn’t owned in a decade. And he’s suing ALB Investments for the land title. Earlier this month, Josh’s attorneys have argued that ALB Investments are in “good standing.” (And sure, if you don’t count being owned by a guy who famously molested 5 little girls,  The legal team is asking the judge to remove them from the lawsuit, arguing that they should never have been a part of it in the first place. The judge has yet to make a ruling, but Josh is asking that his name be removed from the matter. Truth be told, it sounds like ALB Investments is just as much a victim in this as Echols himself. Josh occassionally appears in Duggar group photos, where they hope to sneak him in without reprisal from fans. It’s been years since Josh Duggar has appeared on reality television, and it’s not by choice. TLC may allow Jim Bob and Michelle on their show, but even that network has to draw the line somewhere. Josh’s cheating scandal and his (lol) “porn scandal” were big deals for his family. But it was when it was revealed that Josh had molested five young girls, including his younger sisters, that viewers raised hell and Josh got fired. The fact that Jim Bob and Michelle had worked to cover this up got 19 Kids and Counting canceled. By the skin of their teeth, the Duggars managed to remain on television, piggybacking onto the spinoff,  Counting On . But even though his family believes that his evil deeds have been wiped away through his faith, Josh is persona non grata for the network. That has had a real impact on his livelihood, and forced him to focus upon his business interests. Josh has a used car business, and is estimated to be worth about $200,000. That’s no chump change, and it means that he can certainly absorb the $1,000 property loss without his soon-to-be-six children starving. But Jim Bob is worth millions, while Josh is merely comfortable . Josh has to work harder than some of his siblings, in part because he has so many mouths to feed. But also because he’s not raking in money from reality television — or the opportunities that accompany it. Frankly, nobody was going to seek product endorsements from Josh before this lawsuit.
