Nipsey Hussle: Cause of Death Revealed

As you’ve likely heard by now, hip hop icon Nipsey Hussle was murdered outside a store he owned in Los Angeles on Sunday. He was just 33 years old. For the past 48 hours, Hussle’s death has dominated headlines and social media feeds for two distinct reasons: 1. The rapper’s music and philanthropy made him an indispensable part of the hip hop community and a role model to millions. 2. Hussle’s killer remains at large, and his murder is viewed as symptomatic of the growing gun violence problem in America and the unique challenges facing neighborhoods such as Nipsey’s native South Los Angeles. While a suspect in Hussle’s shooting has been identified, the Los Angeles Police Department is still gathering facts as the manhunt for 29-year-old alleged gang member Eric Holder continues. Today, that meant releasing the results of an autopsy that confirmed the tragic cause of Hussle’s death: According to a report released this morning, Hussle “was found to have died from gunshot wounds of the head and torso.” The LA County Coroner’s office added that Hussle was shot and then “taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m.” “The manner of death was certified as a homicide,” the department wrote. This statement aligns with tweets posted by the LAPD in the moments after the shooting: “At approximately 3:20 pm there was a shooting reported in the area of Slauson Ave and Crenshaw Blvd. 3 victims were transported to a local hospital where one was pronounced deceased,” police tweeted Sunday afternoon. “We have no suspect info at this time and will provide more details as they become available.” The department has been praised for its diligence and transparency in this matter, as well as for keeping the public apprised on the investigation. The LAPD tweeted yesterday that it would be forgoing its annual April Fools’ joke “in light of yesterday’s events” so that they might better focus “on bringing justice to yesterday’s homicide on Slauson & Crenshaw in South LA.” Hussle dedicated much of his life to bettering the neighborhood he grew up and helping to curtail gang violence. He was scheduled to meet with LAPD officials to discuss these matters just one day after he was gunned down. “Having strong enemies is a blessing,” he ominously wrote on Instagram just hours before his passing. Lauren Conrad: Pregnant with Baby #2!

As tragically reported in the past, Lauren Conrad will not be taking part in  The Hills: New Beginnings . She’s chosen to distance herself from the upcoming reality show revival. Ironically, however, the beloved former lead cast member of just the plain old The Hills is about to embark on a brand new beginning in her personal life. Which is a roundabout way of saying the following: Lauren Conrad is pregnant with her second child! The gorgeous The Hills alum made the exciting announcement on Instagram today, sharing a side photo of her baby bump under a floral-patterned dress and writing as a very straightforward caption: It’s been hard to keep this one to myself! Very excited to share that our family will be getting a little bigger this year. Check out the baby bump image here: Conrad and husband William Tell welcomed their first child, a son named Liam James, on July 5, 2017. This blessed event took place after the co-founder of The Little Market and her lawyer love got married in a September 2014 sunset ceremony at a boutique winery. A decade before this ceremony, an 18-year-old Conrad sky-rocketed to prominence after being cast on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, which documented her and her friends’ lives in their hometown of Laguna Beach, California. This series was then spunoff to create The Hills two years later. Conrad pursued a career in the fashion industry on The Hills, while also feuding often with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. But while those two ex-reality stars haven’t managed to find much happiness outside of the spotlight ever since The Hills went off the air, Conrad has very clearly moved on from her MTV life. Conrad has remained mostly on the sidelines of any real celebrity gossip over the past several years, content to build her own business and spend time with her family. Hence, her decision not to participate in this summer’s The Hills reboot. Heck, Conrad didn’t even take the bait when someone named Justin-Bobby Brescia hurled shade in her direction shortly after The Hills reboot cast was announced. “When you’ve got sh-tty people running around, it creates this ambiance you don’t need,” he said last August, clearly referencing Conrd and her absence from the new series. But Conrad didn’t see a need to respond. However, she did announce recently that we’ll be hearing plenty from her in the future — in podcast form! The pregnant star announced last week that she’ll soon be hosting “Lauren Conrad Is Asking For a Friend,” telling Us Weekly that the podcast will be all “about finding the balance” in working and parenting. “You don’t want to miss anything, but at the same time, you want to teach them to work hard,” she said. Jinger Duggar: Has She REALLY Been Disowned By Her Parents?!

For years now, Jinger Duggar has been considered the resident rebel of the Duggar family. Now obviously, the Duggars have a very different standard for what’s considered rebellious behavior. Jinger never took up smoking or went through a goth phase, but nevertheless, insiders say her parents were quite chagrined by her actions. Shortly after marrying Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger started wearing pants in violation of her family’s strict dress code. (Jim Bob and Michelle dictate what sort of clothing their daughters are allowed to wear until such time as that responsibility gets passed on to the girls’ husbands.) Then she further alienated her parents by waiting a full year after her wedding to get pregnant, which led to rumors that Jinger was using birth control — a major no-no in the Duggars’ world. (It’s customary for Duggar couples to start families as soon as possible after marriage.) Fans of Counting On know that Jim Bob was skeptical of Jeremy from the start due to some crucial theological differences and the fact that he and Jinger planned to relocate to Laredo, Texas after tying the knot. But there were rumors that tensions between Jeremy, Jinger, and her parents had eased a bit after the Vuolos welcomed a child. Now, however, the situation has reportedly deteriorated yet again. The Vuolos recently revealed that they’re moving to Los Angeles — a development that Jinger’s ultra-conservative parents are understandably not pleased with. “In recent days, God has made it overwhelmingly clear to us that he is leading us out of Laredo,” the couple wrote on their blog last week. “Through much prayer and counsel, the next step for our family is to relocate to Los Angeles to attend Grace Community Church as Jeremy pursues graduate studies at The Master’s Seminary. “Leaving Laredo this July will be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done; our friends here have become like family,” Jinger and Jeremy concluded.   Jinger’s parents were reportedly shocked by the news, and it’s been widely rumored that they found out about it the same way as the rest of us — through the Vuolos’ blog. Insiders say this added insult to injury, and the situation has resulted in rumors that Jinger’s parents have gone so far as to disown her . There’s little in the way of evidence to this effect, but the rumor has gained traction in the Duggar-themed message boards of Reddit, largely due to Jim Bob and Michelle’s failure to comment publicly on the Vuolos’ move west. Obviously, if it is the case that Jinger’s parents have cut ties with her, the entire family will go to great lengths to keep the situation under wraps. That’s just the standard Duggar response to any scandal. And unfortunately, the distance between the two families will make it easier to do so. In fact, we may have to wait until the next major holiday to gauge whether or not there’s any bad blood between Jinger and her ultra-strict parents. But the truth is sure to come out eventually. Ashley Martson Health Battle to Play Out on 90 Day Fiance?

The 90 Day Fiance fandom has been discussing Ashley Martson’s health a lot this year. After two major hospitalizations, that makes sense. But some so-called fans don’t believe the evidence. They say that she is faking her ongoing battle with lupus. Now, Ashley’s mother is speaking out about how unfairly her daughter has been treated by fans — and by producers. An Instagram user named @cindygarney is claiming to be Ashley Martson’s mom in a series of comments captured by SoapDirt . She has had it up to here with the public thrashing that her daughter has received among some members of the fandom. “I am Ashley’s MOTHER!” Cindy’s post begins. She suggests: “Maybe you should be patient and watch the upcoming season [of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After ].” “You will feel pretty sorry for such harsh comments,” she warns. Fans say that they have received mixed messages about Ashley’s lupus. “Stories may have been inconsistent due to contacts and someone posting on her behalf too quickly,” Cindy suggests. She adds: “I have never commented on anything” “But,” Cindy writes. “I’m sick of seeing her being [dragged] through the mud.” Cindy notes: “I am the one who sits by her side while she suffers.” For the record, it is extremely clear that Ashley’s lupus is the real deal. We all wish that it were not. “You have no idea the hurt you cause her by stating she is faking her illness,” Cindy warns. Famously, and despite how shockingly little they are paid, 90 Day Fiance stars are under strict contracts to not discuss behind-the-scenes details. “I’m not under contract,” Cindy notes. “So I’m gonna say my side.” “I’m not gonna argue with anyone,” she adds. “I’m just stating my side in defense of my daughter,” Fans seem impatient for more information about Ashley and Jay’s life. Cindy reminds them that new episodes are just weeks away — the new season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? premieres on April 28. “I think everyone needs to sit tight,” Cindy advises. She then reports that producers had filmed a lot about Ashley’s health battle, but that those segments never made it to air on Season 6. “They did a whole story the first season and then didn’t share it,” she accuses. “Which I don’t feel was fair.” “The show talked non stop about another cast member who had a visible illness,” Cindy laments. “And completely edited Ashley’s out.” “Just because Ashley doesn’t look visibly ill 24/7 doesn’t mean she isn’t,” Cindy notes. Lupus doesn’t cover you in boils or make you look like a lich. It ravages your internal organs and threatens your life. “For them to film her while very sick and not air it to me was very wrong,” Cindy expresses. She adds that viewers may see a lot more of that, writing: “Let’s hope all the time it was filmed this coming season is shown.” Ashley and Jay did become embattled by a fraud scandal earlier this year. An account that had “leaked” some private photos turned out to be under Jay’s control, and Ashley knew about it. “I have never ever commented before,” Cindy writes. “But,” she says. “I just feel like you shouldn’t immediately judge her because of a fake account was revealed.” She does acknowledge that it was “wrong” and notes that she “doesn’t defend” it. We were all disappointed at Ashley’s fraud scandal. Nobody likes to feel bamboozled. But accusing Ashley of faking her lupus, when she went to great lengths to prove it, is simply not okay. TLC knows that she has it — they sent flowers to her hospital room. And no, they don’t let you borrow a hospital room to fake an illness for your Instagram followers. Justin Bieber Offers Lamest Apology of All-Time for Pregnancy Joke

Justin Bieber made an April Fools Day joke yesterday and he thinks it was funny and creative and anyone who believes otherwise is just overly sensitive and annoying and clearly wrong. But, hey, he’s totally sorry if you are one of those people! This is basically what Bieber has written on Instagram after garnering severe backlash for a prank he conducted on April 1. The prank, as you may have read about, was very simple: Justin shared a sonogram photo on his social media account, along with multiple photos of wife Hailey Baldwin at the doctor’s office with her shirt pulled up and her stomach exposed. The strong implication? He and Baldwin were expecting their first child! After receiving some congratulations and some questions from followers, however, Bieber at last admitted that this was just an April Fools joke. LOL ? More like… what the Hell for many Internet users, a bunch of whom noted the number of women who cannot get pregnant and/or who have suffered miscarriages — and how offensive such a joke is to those who have gone through such hardships. Bieber has apparently read these criticisms. And he has the most half-hearted apology you’ll ever read in response to them. “There’s always gonna be people offended, there’s also people who don’t take jokes very well, I am a prankster and it was APRIL FOOLS,” Bierer explained this morning in a caption to the photo below, adding: “I didn’t at all mean to be insensitive to people who can’t have children. A lot of people I know, their first go to prank on April fools is telling their parents they are pregnant to get a big reaction.” So, just to recap, Bieber has not yet apologized — but he has admitted that his joke was unoriginal. Okay. Go on in that case, Justin… “I will apologize anyway and take responsibility and say sorry to people who were offended. I truly don’t want anyone to be hurt by a prank.. it’s like when I shoved cake in my little sisters face for her birthday expecting her to laugh but she cried.” Sure, we guess it is sort of like that. No one thinks you purposely set out to be hurtful, Justin. But the qualifications and excuses you’re offering up here don’t feel like much of a mea culpa. Concluded the artist: “You sometimes just don’t know what will hurt someone’s feelings not to compare pregnancy with cake in the face but it’s just to paint the picture of not knowing what will offend. “Some might have laughed but some were offended .. I think With pranks u sometimes have to roll that dice.” Or, you know, you could always choose NOT to be a total cliche and acknowledge April Fools Day at all; let alone acknowledge it with a so-called prank you yourself admit is very old and played out. That’s another option, man. Bieber tossed in the hashtags  #prankster #dennisthemenace #sorry #truly to conclude his terrible apology. We were just starting to like the guy again, too. After years of often coming across like an entitled douche canoe, Bieber has calmed down of late and even acknowledged a bit of Depression . He’s clearly gone through a lot over the years and does seem, overall, as if he’s maturing and coming into his own these days. This joke was simply a massive fail. Meghan Markle Slammed For Clothing Budget, Return to Instagram

We still don’t know Meghan Markle’s exact due date , but royal sources have spent the past three months assuring fans that Baby Sussex will be arriving sometime in mid-April. So needless to say, anticipation is at a fever pitch — and the British tabloids are taking full advantage. Yes, it’s Meg Month in the UK press, and the anonymous sources are spilling more tea than the Queen on a bumpy train ride to Sandringham. Sure, there’s been the usual speculation about the name and sex of Meghan and Harry’s baby , but the floodgates have been opened for Meg gossip of all varieties. Naturally, this has meant more talk of a feud between Meghan and Kate Middleton . To be fair, there seems to be at least a modicum of legitimacy to these reports, as the situation got so bad last year that Kensington Palace was forced to issue a statement on the matter. In all likelihood, Kate and Meg have buried the hatchet — or at least learned how to stay out of one another’s way — but that won’t stop the press from  pitting them against each other at every opportunity. It was reported this week that Meghan’s maternity wardrobe budget exceeded $500,000 — which is said to be seven times more than what Kate spent. This fits the “Diva Duchess” narrative well and feeds into the BS notion that Meghan is simply too pampered to get along with Kate. “Meghan has a well-established background before [marrying] Harry as a woman who enjoyed designer clothing,” explains Love the Sales ‘ fashion editor Liam Solomon.  “From walking red carpets to living a glamorous LA lifestyle, the former actress was already wearing brands like Dior and Givenchy,” Solomon continues. “You could argue that her newfound fame in the Royal family has only enhanced her style choices, which would obviously mean bigger budgets. “Quite the opposite environment Kate has grown up in, has meant she has stuck with more understated brands,” he adds. “As Meghan was wearing Stella McCartney & Victoria Beckham during her pregnancy, Kate favored pregnancy brands like Seraphine, which were much more affordable.” We get what Liam is saying, but has the world forgotten that Meg was raised by her social worker mother in Los Angeles? Her dad was as lighting director on Married…With Children , and Meghan visited the set frequently as a child. How did this woman who grew up in the presence of Al Bundy come to be regarded as unapproachably posh when compared to the other member of the royal freakin’ family? Bollocks, we say. In other Meg news, she and Harry took another step toward dragging the royal family into the 21st century today when they launched their official Instagram page. So far there’s only one post, which features several pics of the duke and duchess (including the one above) along with the following caption: “‘Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.’- Harry & Meghan” Yes, we just quoted them quoting themselves like Michael Scott citing Wayne Gretzky. Give us a break, it’s Meg Month, baby! There’s been talk of royal traditionalists griping about Meg and Harry’s foray into social media, but how else do they expect this family to remain relevant? We think it’s a crime that the entire Windsor clan isn’t on the ‘Gram. The Queen could be posting fresh #ThroneSelfies at this very moment! Jeremy Roloff Admits to Porn Addiction, Near-Destruction of Marriage

Jeremy Roloff and Audrey Roloff may seem like one of the happiest famous couples out there. But each writes in the couple’s brand new book about past troubles in their marriage. And not just basic, harmless troubles, either — we’re talking soul-altering sins that caused both Jeremy and Audrey to question their values, their morals and the overwhelming desires present in their private parts. We’re not really kidding. First, as previously outlined, Audrey wrote openly in “A Love Letter Life,” the tandem’s memoir that just went on sale today, about how she and Jeremy engaged in some naked behavior prior to getting married. They didn’t have sex, no. But they did engage in some impure actions that involved a bathing suit . Naughty, right? Yes, if you are a devoted Catholic, as Jeremy and Audrey have often claimed to be and have often written and talked about with their social media followers. Now, the former Little People, Big World cast member is here to delve into his own shame; to explain to readers that he isn’t the wholesome and clean-cut husband he’s maybe always come across as on television or on Instagram. Jeremy, too, has sinned. When he first started dating Audrey, Roloff writes in this book that he was “failing behind the computer screen,” explaining in more detail: “I had wandering eyes when it came to risqué images and social media profiles I had no business looking at.” In other words: Jeremy liked porn. However, Roloff somehow argues here that he wasn’t into porn in the traditional sense. That is, the naked sense. “I know many men who excuse their porn habit because there is no nudity,” says Jeremy. “But the sin of porn can happen in the mind with or without articles of clothing, no matter whether it’s on an Instagram feed or an explicit website.” Ummm… okay then? We’re not entirely sure how porn can “happen in the mind,” unless Jeremy simply means here that he used to picture women naked in his head. This is also known simply as being a male . But Jeremy was ashamed of the behavior. The father of one says in the memoir that about once a month, he would become “lazy, bored or stressed,” and scroll naughty websites. “I realized I was a hypocrite,” he admits. “I said I believed one thing but acted out another in secret, and I was breaking down, whether or not I recognized it.” To be clear, Jeremy wasn’t acting out any lewd fantasies or actively doing anything untoward… unless you consider perusing some websites to fall into this category. Which Jeremy evidently does. After kicking the habit for a bit, Roloff tells readers he grew stressed as a result of his 2014 wedding — and got bitten once again by the adult entertainment bug. “The parasitical sin had not vanished,” he actually writes. At this point, he sought help in his local Bent, Oregon church group. “It was here that I found a pastor who wouldn’t stand for unrepented, habitual sin,” says Jeremy, adding: “He called me out and set me straight as he explained the Biblical truths about someone who refuses to turn from sin and walk in righteousness.” Jeremy also opened up at last to Audrey. He told her everything. And it nearly ended their relationship. “When I saw the look of betrayal in her eyes, I felt mournfully sorry. Tears ran down her beautiful face. ‘Why Jer?’ she asked. ‘Why?’” he recalls in the book. (NOTE: Perhaps this explains why Audrey once posed nude in a bathtub ; to give her husband something to ogle at without feeling guilty.) Thankfully, The couple worked through their issues and later welcomed daughter Ember in 2017. But the end was nigh there for a little bit. “Audrey was devastated. My behavior had fractured our trust, scarred our intimacy, and broken our unity,” he writes. These days, Jeremy isn’t touching the keys on his computer screen any longer in an attempt to look for sexy women. Nicole Nafziger: 90 Day Fiance Star Flaunts Gorgeous Engagement Ring!

Ever since Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou canceled their wedding last summer, things have looked bleak for the 90 Day Fiance couple. The newest trailer for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? showed them appear to have some huge fight over Azan’s (possible) infidelity. But it looks like they’ve overcome it, because Nicole is making sure her engagement ring catches your eye on social media. Nicole and Azan’s love story has stretched for ages, but it looks like the ride is far from over. “Feeling beautiful today,” Nicole captioned a cute selfie on Instagram. In the selfie, she is sporting her purple hair and her adorable cheeks. That’s not what holds your attention, however. It’s hard to see a diamond engagement ring up close and personal in a photo without taking notice. That is so sweet! Last summer, Nicole flew out with the intention of marrying Azan. Things didn’t quite work out as she had hoped, and she had to return from Morocco empty-handed. Her father explained at the time that the “timing” simply hadn’t worked out. It turns out that he meant that literally, because Nicole’s visa expired and she had to go back home. Nicole and Azan met on an international dating site. Nicole is American and Azan lives in Morocco. They appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance . Though they did not get married, they returned for Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Nicole has twice called off their wedding, and Azan cannot yet come to the United States because his K-1 visa was denied. They are one of the franchise’s longest-running couples. It’s no secret that Nicole and Azan have been engaged for ages. But it’s reassuring to see Nicole continuing to sport that ring on her finger. The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? trailer teased a whole lot, including a lot of fights. In the trailer, we see Nicole talking about something that Azan did — and while the word “infidelity” comes up, it’s unclear what it is. At one point, a question from a producer appears to make Nicole walk away and call Azan for a serious, semi-private discussion. We won’t know what happens until we watch the new season, which begins on April 28. Did Azan cheat on Nicole? Cheating is a known and widely feared risk in relationships, especially long-distance romances. But allow us to present another theory. Nicole had notably saved up money — a difficult endeavor — while working here in the States. She then gave a lot of that to Azan as an investment in a shop that he intends to open in Morocco. Is it possible that he did something with the money other than what Nicole had intended? If so, that would explain the serious tension. But that is purely speculation, in part because we cannot imagine giving thousands of dollars to someone we haven’t yet been able to marry. Especially not in Nicole’s situation. She’s a mother and she works hard for her cash. Now, maybe we’re being paranoid, or maybe Nicole is just a fool in love like so many others have been over the years. But she and Azan do seem to have something very genuine between them, despite their story’s ups and downs. This ring appears to be a promise that, whatever tension exploded late last year in front of TLC’s cameras, they worked through it. But when, oh when, will they get married? That’s not what we want. 3. THIS is the photo that somehow prompted rage As you can see, Paola has the audacity to … nurse her baby, helping to sustain his life. And, as a reality star and model with a hefty social media presence, she’s also sharing the photo. The horror! 4. The haters rolled in “She loves being naked the baby is used as an accessory!!!” one hateful commenter accused. “She is the most attention seeking woman of 90 Day Fiancé. Oh her husband was so upset about that first shoot, now she shows everything.” 5. The mom-shaming continued “Everything has to be a photo op for her,” another hater expressed. “Such a narcissist. The kid is just used as a prop.” 6. Thankfully, not everyone on the internet is a monster “Thanks for making this a ‘normal’ thing to do,” a supporter wrote. “After all, it is totally natural. Mothers shouldn’t feel awkward or worst yet, alienated for feeding their child! Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Reunion: Will ANY of the Cast Be There?!

Well, it's that time again. Another Teen Mom 2 reunion is upon us, and usually, that means intense drama, awkward stare-downs, and maybe even some hair-pulling. This year, however, we might end up with Dr. Drew Pinsky alone on stage with some crickets and tumbleweed. Over the weekend, two of the moms took to Twitter to declare that they will not be attending the reunion. And major questions remain about the attendance of at least one other. Based on the tweets and the latest updates from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, here's everything we know so far about what's shaping up to be the most sparsely-attended reunion show in Teen Mom history: 1. Mom Drama Normally, this is the time when the ladies of Teen Mom 2 would be planning their descent on New York. But things are a little different this year … 2. Disaster In Manhattan As you may recall, last year’s reunion was something of a debacle. You might even call it an old-fashioned clusterf–k. 3. Showdowns There was a tense stand-off between Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus backstage, and Bri’s sister Brittany later viciously yanked on Kail’s hair. 4. And No-Shows Jenelle Evans, meanwhile, didn’t even make the trip to NYC. Instead, Dr. Drew traveled to her home in North Carolina for an interview. 5. The 2019 Scene Naturally, fans are curious about who will be in attendance at this year’s reunion. Unfortunately, the answer keeps changing. 6.
