Lindsey Nicholson to Appear on Teen Mom 2: Is She Replacing a Fired Cast Member?

If you’re a longtime fan of the Teen Mom franchise, you may remember the name Lindsey Nicholson. Lyndsey was a fan favorite on 16 and Pregnant , but she was passed over for the majors and never made the leap to Teen Mom fame. Prior to the casting of Briana DeJesus , MTV and Viacom reached out to several former 16 and Pregnant stars. When they reached their final decision, Lindsey and others, like Mackenzie McKee were left to assume they didn’t get the gig. Now that the network went outside of the franchise to cast Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd on Teen Mom OG , it looks like Lindsey will never get a chance to return to the series full-time. She is, however, scheduled to make an appearance on Teen Mom 2 this season. Lindsey has remained friends with Kailyn Lowry, and she was on hand for the launch of Lowry’s Pothead haircare line last week. In a recent interview with Radar Online, Lindsey confirmed that the event was filmed for the show. “We were all there,” she said of Lowry’s Pothead hair care in NYC. “It was mostly following up on something they’re going to put in Kail’s season.” The news that Lindsey was once again filming with MTV led to rumors that she would be returning to the franchise, possibly to replace a departing TM2 cast member. That’s not the case, however, which is a shame — as Lindsey has quite a story to tell. Nicholson gave birth to twins Jackson and Paisley when she was just 29 weeks pregnant, and the boys spent several weeks in the NICU. “No one talks about it,” she told Radar. “It is so hard. My goal in the next few years … I would love to be able to go and speak and share our story. “I was one of the girls they reached out to,” Nicholson explains of her experience with almost getting cast in TM2. “When they called we weren’t even pregnant. I was working at a dentist office. My life was so boring.  According to Lindsey, passing her over is the network’s loss. “But they missed out everything we went through with the twins,” she says. Thomas Ravenel: Sued by Nanny For Sexual Assault, Cover-Up

Earlier this year, we reported that Thomas Ravenel was accused of sexually assaulting his children’s nanny  and then firing her. That harrowing account was the second accusation of rape to come out against him. Now, Nanny Dawn is suing Thomas over the assault — and the lawsuit also includes Bravo and NBC. Here’s why: RadarOnline reports that Ravenel’s children’s former nanny, Dawn Ledwell, is suing the disgraced former reality star for “assault, slander, and libel.” In court documents, Thomas is accused of having “violently and aggressively” ripped off her clothes in the January 2015 incident. He then allegedly forced his hand between her legs to assault her genitals, “causing severe and significant injuries.” Per the documents, Thomas then attempted “to engage in sexual intercourse” against her will. Ledwell’s team says that hs “conduct was so extreme and outrageous as to exceed all bounds of decency.” “And,” documents read, his behavior “must be regarded as atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized community.” That’s all heinous, and we already know that Thomas Ravenel will go to trial over the alleged assault. But why are Bravo and NBC included in all of this? Court papers claim that the production company and network “created, permitted and encouraged Southern Charm plot lines.” These were plotlines, they say, “that focus on alcohol, sexual encounters.” “And,” documents accuse. “The concept that male cast members, including Defendant Ravenel, suffer from ‘Peter Pan Syndrome.'” The papers continue: “and they are the ‘Lost Boys’ and Charleston is their ‘Neverland.'” In the court documents, Ledwell says that, December of 2015, she informed an employee of “Corporate Defendants” about the allegations. The corporate defendants would be Bravo, NBCUniversal and Comcast. We have no idea what sort of employee her team means. However, the documents accuse that the companies “failed to investigate.” It may be difficult to prove that this matter was passed up the ladder to the appropriate individuals. But it sounds like the accusation is that executives didn’t want to stir the pot with a scandal and cared more about ratings than justice. Ledwell’s team believes that Thomas Ravenel knowingly benefitted from corporate greed. “Corporate Defendants and Ravenel have conspired with one another to deter the investigations of assaults committed by Defendant Ravenel,” documents read. Ledwell reports that she has not been contacted “since the public disclosure of the allegations of assault in or around May 4, 2018.” While Bravo did make it clear in 2018 that Thomas would never return to Southern Charm , this was only after the scandal came to light. Did execs feel that public pressure and #MeToo forced their hand, or was this just the first that the right people had learned of the allegations? A statement was released at the time of the allegations against Thomas Ravenel. “Haymaker, the production company for Southern Charm, and Bravo take allegations like these very seriously,” the statement read. It continued: “Haymaker is conducting an investigation, and once all the information is gathered and carefully reviewed, appropriate action will be taken.” Since then, of course, Thomas has not appeared on Southern Charm . Dawn Ledwell has requested a jury trial for the lawsuit. Proving sexual assault is extremely difficult in our legal system. Ledwell is already in the minority, in that her allegations led to an arrest. (The vast majority of sexual assaults are not even reported to police, and even fewer lead to arrests and trials) Proving this conspiracy to cover things up seems like a longshot, even if it is true. Unless there is an employee willing to blab or a particularly damning corporate email, it sounds very tricky. As always, we hope to see justice done. Bristol Palin Gets Roasted on Instagram, Attempts to Fight Back

So far the casting of Bristol Palin on Teen Mom OG isn’t working out for anyone involved. Bristol gets paid more than any of the other cast members, and her fame was supposed to help to increase the show’s ratings. That didn’t happen. In fact, as Starcasm reports, ratings for the long-running series have been steadily declining since it returned to the airwaves in March of 2015. (The show was on hiatus from 2012 to 2015 due to Amber Portwood’s imprisonment , and it never quite recovered.) At its peak, TMOG pulled in over 3.5 million viewers an episode. These days, it draws an audience of less than a million. Part of the problem is that the show’s resident villain, Farrah Abraham, was fired before the start of this season, creating a serious drama vacuum. Producers attempted to fill the void by adding new cast members Bristol and Cheyenne Floyd, but thus far, viewers aren’t taking the bait. The reaction to Bristol, in particular, has ranged from apathetic to vitriolic, as fans attempt to puzzle out why a member of one of America’s most reviled political families has been shoehorned into an otherwise apolitical reality show. By any measure, the Bristol experiment has failed, and it seems that Palin is taking all the criticism from fans to heart: And Bristol used a painfully lame defense when responding to a fan who maligned her during the airing of Monday night’s new episode. “[MTV] you really need to take [Bristol] off Teen Mom OG,” the angry viewer wrote on Instagram. “This chick is soooo damn ditzy and dum. Why is she so worried about her sons money if it’s for his trust fund for college?!?! “He’s not going anytime soon!!!!” “dumb.. if you’re going to criticize me, at least be grammatically correct,” Bristol replied. Okay — she’s certainly correct in her assertion that there are some grammatical and spelling errors in that post, but it’s not like the fan didn’t get her message across. And resorting to criticizing your opponent’s grammar is generally a good sign that you’re lacking a decent counterargument. Oh, and it took us about 4 seconds of scrolling through Bristol’s socials to find some egregious assaults on grammar and syntax, so she probably shouldn’t continue to go there with fans. As for what the future holds for Bristol — that’s anyone’s guess. The exact terms of her contract are a mystery, but it’s hard to believe she’ll be back for another season at her current salary. Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 15 came to an end on Sunday night. With both a bang, and a lot of whimpering from the public over comments Kanye West made about slavery . Oh yeah: Kim Kardashian also met with Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Yes, that Donald Trump . The episode opened with a Kim explaining how she became moved and inspired the story of Alice Johnson . As explained to Kourtney, this was a woman who had been sentenced to a life sentence for a nonviolent first-time drug offense. She had already served 21 years of this stint. Kim became involved in the case after reaching out and offering to assist, and she was determined to convince the President that Johnson deserved clemency. “My first phone call was to Ivanka [Trump],” Kim said in a testimonial, adding: “She connected me with her husband Jared [Kushner]. They’ve asked me to go and talk to Trump about why Alice should get out.” Kardashian also said she told Kushner that she was a Hillary Clinton supporter in 2016 — but that this issue goes beyond party affiliation. In the middle of planning her White House visit and traveling to New York for the Met Ball, however, Kim had to deal with one of the children in her life. No, not Saint, North or Chicago. We’re talking about Kanye. During an appearance on TMZ Live, the idiotic rapper said the following: “When you hear about slavery for 400 years … for 400 years? That sounds like a choice .” Kris Jenner was actually scheduled to appear on Ellen just as news of Kanye’s rant broke; but Corey Gamble encouraged her to cancel. But the matriatch wasn’t having it. “I just want to make everything better,” Kris told Corey in the Ellen greenroom. “You know me, I want everybody to get along, I want everybody to be happy, I want everybody to understand one another and communicate.” In a solo interview with the E! cameras, Kris explained: “Even though Kanye went on TMZ this morning and made some controversial comments, my loyalty really lies with Kanye.” Later, while preparing for the Met Gala in her New York City hotel room, Kim opened up to Jonathan Cheban about West’s words actions. “Everyone thinks he’s having a breakdown,” she said. “When I saw the clip, I rushed home, I was hysterically crying. So I go home, he’s totally fine.” Typical Kanye, right? “The thing is, when he gets ramped up, he can’t control what he says, he can’t let it go. But he loves being ramped up,” Kim continued. “He’s like, ‘I feel powerful when I’m ramped up. I don’t want to be so suppressed. Yeah, I say crazy sh-t, but I’ve always said crazy sh-t. That’s why I’m Kanye.'” But Kim only had so much time to deal with Kanye’s latest controversy. She had to go into full-on business mode upon traveling to the White House with attorney Shawn Holley, the lawyer who famously represented Lindsay Lohan during her 2013 legal battle. Holley described the meeting with Trump with Kim, saying on air: “It was a lot of chit-chatting. They talked a little bit about Khloe on The Celebrity Apprentice.” There was also “a lot of Kanye talk” because West had also garnered backlash for supporting the MAGA movement. Johnson, who later appeared in the episode as Kim flew to Tennessee to meet her, broke into tears and referred to Kim as an “angel.” As for her sit-down with Trump, Kim later told her lawyer: “This has nothing to do with politics. I don’t really know anything. This just has to do with getting in front of the person that is the only person in the world that can make this decision and try to change their mind.” Kim delivers the life-altering news of her freedom to Alice Johnson in this photograph/scene. And as for the past 12 months of her life? After some time chilling at home with her semi-insane husband, Kim said the following to conclude Season 15: “Every time I think I’ve had a crazy year, I live the next year and it’s even crazier.”

Tracy Shapoff: The Bachelor Contestant Caught Using Slurs, Fat-Shaming

On Thursday, Chris Harrison announced the contestants vying for Colton Underwood’s affections … and virginity. One of these women, Tracy Shapoff, is already causing a stir among the Bachelor Nation in the worst way. She has tweeted some alarming things. Some are awkward … but some of what she has said online is absolutely abhorrent. When Chris Harrison said that Tracy would make a “flashy first impression,” we don’t think that this is what he menat. He also mentioned that Tracy may “find herself the center of drama night one.” This, however, isn’t about Tracy’s behavior on the show. Instead, it’s about a series of old tweets of hers that have surfaced now that her name has been announced. In 2010, she tweeted: “Do ppl really think they’re finding love on reality tv…or am I just the idiot that watches it?” Obviously, that tweet isn’t harmful or problematic. It’s just a little awkward since Tracy herself has now found herself competing for love on reality television. At the time, she could not have known that she would one day end up on screen, indirectly referring to the Bachelor Nation as “idiots.” We wish that the rest of these tweets were as innocuous. They are not. Another has a much more hateful message. “Wow it’s really cool when you goto get in a cab and some fat prick w/ veneers flips out because he claims he hailed it first…ahole,” Tracy tweeted in 2011. That tweet, in which she seems to single out the alleged weight of a stranger for criticism, is only one example. It appears that Tracy has — or, at least, had — a real problem with anyone who mgiht be overweight or fat. This next tweet is so vile that we can’t even write out all of the words, and it also includes fat-shaming. “Liposuction is r—-ded…stop wasting your money and just get your fat ass to the gym,” she tweeted in 2010. Abhorrent. Let’s ignore her absolute cluelessness about genetic differences that allow one person to lose weight through exercise more easily than another. Regardless of someone’s reason for doing liposuction, that’s no one’s business but theirs and their doctor’s. And, obviously, no one should use slurs. She just hurled the r-slur, which probably means that she felt comfortable using it in her speech, too. In another tweet, she expressed outrage that two older and allegedly overweight women were enjoying themselves at the gym. “Wish these fat old women on the treadmill would shut the hell up,” she lamented in 2010. Her tweet concluded with a demand: “Stop dancing and just [work out].” Obviously, these are older tweets. They date back to 2010 and to 2011. Fat-shaming back then was not okay, even if the general cutlure was less aware of it. Using the r-slur was emphatically not okay either, and to be honest, we think that everyone knew that even then. If we were talking about Tracy committing assaults or violence, this would be the end of the discussion. But saying things — even terrible things — far in the past is not necessarily irredeemable. Tracy can absolutely apologize and show that she has grown as a person. After all, who among us isn’t at least a little wiser or kinder than we were in 2011? Some members of the Bachelor Nation have been quick to point out parallels between Tracy’s exposed tweets and another recent scandal. During Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette, Garrett Yrigoyen was exposed for “liking” a lot of vicious, dehumanizing political posts. These Instagram posts weren’t just partisan — no matter your political views, the posts he “liked” were deeply bigoted. Garrett apologized, but the posts that he had liked were only a few months old. In the mean time, Tracy’s date back the better part of a decade. Audiences may be much more willing to believe that Tracy has had a change of heart. Ryan Edwards: CAUGHT Drinking Post-Rehab!

Here we go again. As you may have heard, Ryan Edwards left rehab last month after completing 90 days of in-patient treatment. Ryan had checked into a treatment center on one prior occasion, and he relapsed within days of returning home. There was reason to believe this time would be different — but now, it looks as though Ryan is not taking his recovery as seriously as he needs to. Take a look:   1. Dark Times It’s been less than two weeks Ryan left rehab after undergoing 90 days of treatment for an addiction to heroin. 2. Off the Wagon Now, it looks as though Ryan is no longer sober. 3. Back At It A fan posted this photo of Ryan and Mackenzie at a restaurant in North Carolina. 4. The Accusation The person who took the photo says Ryan was definitely drinking alcohol during dinner. 5. What’s the Problem? Ryan was not being treated for an alcohol addiction, but rehab counselors generally advise addicts to steer clear of all intoxicating substances. 6. A Repeating Pattern The last time Ryan left treatment, he was spotted drinking alcohol shortly thereafter. View Slideshow

Jax Taylor Gets Paid More Than the Rest of the Vanderpump Cast Because In 2018, Cruelty and Idiocy Are Virtues

If you're a fan of the long-running Bravo series Vanderpump Rules , then there are certain facts that you've come to accept about the life among West Hollywood's drunkest band of extremely caucasian sociopaths: For example, despite claims to the contrary, it is all about the pasta. But the most salient and inarguable truth about Lisa Vanderpump's ragged band of aging hedonists is that Jax Taylor is the most repugnant villain this side of The Situation circa 2010. Jax cheats on his fiancee , lies like it's his job (which we guess it sort of is), heaps abuse on his friends and former co-workers, then throws himself pity parties on the rare occasion that someone actually calls him out for being horrible. Of course, this is the kind of stuff that makes the world of reality television go 'round, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that Jax gets paid more than his co-stars. Take a look: 1. Stacks For Jax Obviously, at this point, it’s hilarious that the cast occasionally pretends to be reliant on the meager paychecks that they receive from serving and bartending at Lisa Vanderpump’s Sexy Unique Restaurant. (That name will never not be hilarious.) 2. The Grand Charade The show’s not even fully committed to that bit, as cast members get fired by Lisa and don’t even pretend to seek out other employment. 3. Slow Climb These days, the entire cast is sitting pretty from a financial standpoint, but it took them quite a few years to get to where they are. 4. Started From the Bottom In the early days, the cast wasn’t pretending to be poor. 5. That’s Like a Month’s Rent in LA A lawsuit that Tom Sandoval filed against his former talent agency revealed that the bartender made just $12,000 from the show’s first season. 6. Getting Somewhere … The same suit revealed that Sandoval brought home $25,600 for Vanderpump Season 2. A major raise, but still not that much cash. View Slideshow

DING! DING! DING! The gloves came off on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation this week — but not between Ronnie Jen Harley for a change. Instead, some loser/jerk/douchebag at a club insulted Deena, which brought the cast together in retribution against this loser/jerk/douchebag . Where did things go from where? How ugly and/or violent did it get? And do we have an update on Jen and Ronnie??? Scroll down to find out! 1. Keeping Things Chill Deena Cortese was pregnant and back in town early in this episode. As a result, the ladies decided to do a low-key, “classy” wine night. What could go wrong from there, right? 2. No, He Didn’t Mean Phat Together, they drank, they ate “17 pounds of cheese. And they laughed. And they had a fun time overall. However, on their way out of the restaurant, some dude in white linen pants slammed as Deena fat. 3. Take It Away, JWOWW! “Oh, hell no!” Jenni told the camera. “You can come after me all day, but the moment you talk about my friends, game over. I will annihilate you.” 4. What the Eff is Wrong with You?!? JWOWW then charged at the dude and asked him: “Were you just making fun of a pregnant girl?!” Without missing a beat, he replied, “I was. I did. I called her fat.” 5. And Then It… Was… On! BOOM! “You’re a piece of shit! You’re a f-cking bitch, bro!” she yelled in the loser’s face. White Linen Pants Man called Jenni a bitch and suggested she should go party with him. 6. Wanna Get Whooped?!? “You wanna get whooped by a f-ckin bitch?! This is what’s wrong with America. The Bachelor Season 23: Meet the Suitors!

The day is nearly here. The Bachelor Season 23 will premiere on Monday, January 7 at 8/7c (see The Bachelor spoilers for ALL the scoop on the new season). In the opening episode – which will be three hours long – we will meet the amazing women vying for Colton Underwood's heart. Only two of them are over the age of 30. One says she has never been kissed, something Colton may be able to relate to. Another, meanwhile, lists her job as “Cinderella.” And a full one-third of the suitors hail from the Golden State of California. What are their names, ages and jobs? Jim Bellino: Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge Set Out to RUIN My Business!

Jim Bellino’s intense lawsuit against Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge is still going strong. Newly revealed documents explain exactly how he believes they robbed him of his revenue. They also claim that Jim is certain that they intended to sabotage his business and ruin his life. The Blast   obtained and released court documents this week. In them, Jim Bellino claims that Shannon Beador  intentionally  disrupted his business relationships. “Shannon intended to disrupt those relationships” “and knew or should have known that disruption would result” “when she made the statements about Skyzone at issue in this case” “Disruption of those relationships has occurred” “as visitors who would otherwise regularly visit Skyzone no longer do because they have heard that ‘people get paralyzed’ there.” “In addition, I had the opportunity to purchase three trampoline parks before [Shannon]’s statements were made” He says that he was working with investors to make these purchases. When the investors ultimately backed out, he lost the opportunity, he claims, to make $1 million. He is laying the blame for this loss of potential income at the feet of Tamra and Shannon. We’re no experts on lawsuits (thankfully) or trampoline parks (again, thankfully), but here is what it looks like. Proving that attendance at his trampoline parks is down and specifically because of statements on a podcast … would be challenging. But it does sound like Jim Bellino needs to prove three major things to make his case. One, that Tamra and Shannon intended to sabotage his business. Two, that their actions — by which we mean discussing a few rumors on a podcast — pushed his potential investors to pull out. Three, that he really lost out on one million dollars as a result. He probably has the paperwork to illustrate that he missed out on $1 million, so that third one is probably a safe bet. Proving Shannon and Tamra’s intentions would require evidence that they planned this. That means  Tamra’s secret text messages  or finding something else to support his theory. Because you can’t prove someone’s intentions with nothing but suspicions. What’s going to be really interesting is that he may end up calling his would-be investors in to testify. Think about it this way: if he says that the investors backed out because of that podcast, he’ll need to prove it, right? If so, he may have to call upon them to testify. If he does not, we imagine that Tamra or Shannon’s attorneys might ask the investors themselves. if they say that it was something else, that could go a long way towards helping Shannon and Tamra out of this mess. This could end up blowing up in Jim’s face. That said, we’ll have to watch this suit play out in court before we know the results. Either side could surprise us all.
