  Actress Carrie Fisher Of ‘Star Wars’ Fame Passes Away At Age 60 Just when we thought it was gonna be all good… On Chirstmas Eve we reported that Star Wars icon Carrie “Princess Leia” Fisher suffered a massive heart attack aboard a flight from London to Los Angeles. Although it was reported that she was in stable condition after being hospitalized, it appears that the incident took more out of her than was first realized. According to PEOPLE , Carrie Fisher is no longer with us. Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement on behalf of Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd: “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” reads the statement. “She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly . Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.” 2016 has been absolutely insane. We can only pray about 2017. R.I.P. to Carrie Fisher. May the force be with her. Image via Splash

SMH: Queen Latifah’s Car Stolen From Atlanta Gas Station

Queen Latifah’s Vehicle Carjacked In Atlanta A popular Atlanta-area crime has just claimed Queen Latifah as a victim. ATL area thieves frequently jump into a vehicle’s driver’s seat while the driver is pumping gas, and quickly take off, taking not only the car but all contents inside. On some occasions, drivers’ pets and even children have been inadvertently taken in the process of the vehicle theft. According to Fox 5 Atlanta , Queen Latifah’s vehicle was taken in a similar incident, though she herself was not on the scene at the time: Fulton County Police said another driver was driving Queen Latifah’s vehicle alone when someone stole her car. The ordeal happened on the evening of December 20, at the Shell gas station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Police said, in their report, the driver of the 2015 Mercedes Benz S63 was pumping gas when a white BMW pulled up beside him, then he heard the vehicle ignition start and saw Ms. Latifah’s vehicle speed off. Police then made contact with the owner of the vehicle, identified by Queen Latifah’s real name, Dana Owens. Police said Atlanta officers tracked down the vehicle to an apartment complex on McDaniels Street in Southwest Atlanta; security said they spotted three males near the vehicle, as well as a white BMW and another Dodge Charger (a similar vehicle was reported stolen in College Park). Police said in their report, Ms. Owens inspected the recovered vehicle, and found lemonade and fruit punch bottles left behind by the thieves. Fulton County Police are still searching for the thieves responsible. Seriously? Sounds like these thieves had to be children or just plain dumb…they just used the car to roll around the neighborhood and dumped them in some random spot? At least she was able to get her car back in one piece… FOX 5/WENN

Tiny Files For Divorce From TI It looks like the “Family Hustle” has come to a close. Apparently, Tiny is fed up and has decided to call it quits on her 6-year union to Tip. According to TMZ , Tiny went down to the Henry County Courthouse to officially sever ties from Tip earlier this month. Yikes…we bet that made for an interesting Christmas. There’s no defined reason being pointed out…but we all know things have been shaky (to say the least) between TI and Tiny for the better part of 2016… baby rumors , social media shade and all. And of course, that whole Floyd situation didn’t do much to help matters… The duo got married back in 2010 and have 2 sons, Major and King, and 1 daughter, Heiress together…among TI’s two older sons and daughter and Tiny’s daughter Zonnique. Stop The Violence: Chicago Homicides Up 56% In 2016 To 745, 27 Killed Over Christmas Weekend

27 Murders Recorded In Chicago Over Christmas Weekend Although many of us were celebrating the birth of baby Jesus with our families over this past weekend, many folks in Chicago had their holiday ruined by gun violence. According to NYTimes , 27 Chicago residents lost their lives in 48 hours leading up to Christmas. This weekend, one of the victims was an 18-year-old man who was shot multiple times in the neck and back while he was driving at 1:30 a.m. on Christmas Day in the Gage Park neighborhood, on the city’s Southwest Side. Sadly, this weekend’s violence is just part-and-parcel of an extreme bloody year in The Windy City, even more that the previous year. Officer Jose Estrada, a spokesman with the Chicago Police Department, said in a telephone interview on Sunday that the total number of homicides so far this year was 745, a 56 percent increase from 476 at the same time last year. This year was the first time in nearly two decades that more than 700 homicides had been recorded in the city, The Chicago Tribune reported this month. Officer Estrada said the total number of shooting victims so far stood at 4,252, up 47 percent from 2,884 at the same time in 2015. Data of the shootings over Christmas weekend logged by The Chicago Tribune reflected a relentless crime blotter: Nearly all of the people shot were men, the majority under 30. Porsha Williams Claps Back At Kordell Stewart Remember when we told you that another man came forward to allege that he’s Kordell Stewart’s secret boy bae and he shared a freaky flick to prove it? “I’ve been dating Kordell for the last two years and yes I’m a guy. I love Kordell and his son Syre but I can only be manipulated so much. When we met he was my “bro”. We played golf, went on trips, he supported me when I was finishing my Masters (yes he paid) and I supported him when he was finishing up his degree earlier this year. But I feel like just because he has more money over me he can control me. Well now Kordell Stewart’s confirming that the person in the butt baring video leaked is him, but he’s insistent that he sent it to his ex-wife Porsha Williams. Uhhhh…. Kordell says his #1 suspect is his ex-wife, Porsha Williams — claiming she had sent him text messages warning him to “prepare for war” … and he believes she was referring to the tape. As for reports that Kordell had made the video for another man, the ex-NFL star tells us it’s “bull****” — and says that, while he respects gay people, that’s just not who he is. For those of you who can still listen to Robert Kelly’s music without feeling morally bankrupt, there is some good news. For those of you who have deleted, trashed and otherwise disavowed all knowledge of the man who religiously believes that “age ain’t nothin’ but a number”, be prepared to throw up in the mouth a little bit. In a recent interview with the AJC , R. Kelly reveals that his “Trapped In The Closet” series ain’t over… Q: What’s in the plans for 2017? A: I have my R&B hip-hop album – I haven’t named it yet, and “Trapped in the Closet,” I have 35 more chapters of that done. I’m very excited about that. It will absolutely be out next year. I’ll tour if it’s a major deal, but if not I might just chill and just finish writing my movie scripts. Guess this is sign that we’ve all been naughty this year, because Kelly Claus definitely isn’t giving us what we asked for…him to go away forever. One man in particular REALLY wants Kellz outta here.
